Trapped In A Narrative Of Lies

Trapped In A Narrative

I’ve addressed the issue a hundred times, and it pains me to see it only gets worse. But it does. And it’s not my pain that counts, it has no meaning whatsoever, it’s the fact that we are inching ever closer to the kind of situations none of us would choose.

That is, war, people dying from sheer misery, people dying because they have no access to the services we take for granted, and even people being shelled by their own government.

All these things are happening as we speak, and we accept them lying down – on our couches - and choose to ignore and even deny them, because we are trapped in narratives spun by those who see a profit in spreading these narratives. And who have a solid grip on what gets spun and what is not.

This is not going to end well. Not unless we speak up. Not for anyone amongst us. This one will not pass by your door, or mine. We’re approaching decision time. For the world, for your life and mine. It’s time to pick sides.

As I said, I’ve talked about this numerous times. I suggest you read for example 2014: The Year Propaganda Came Of Age. And then realize that the age of innocence is gone. That ‘I didn’t know’ no longer counts for anything. That ‘I’m just trying to make a living’ only goes so far. That your life is not only about you.

February 12 seems to have been a busy day. There had been a 16 hour – largely overnight – meeting in Minsk attended by Merkel, Hollande, Petroshenko and Putin. Why Putin was asked to attend – ostensibly representing the Donbass ‘rebels’ – is up for questioning, but he was there. The rebels themselves were not.

Not long after the cease-fire was announced, perhaps even prior to it, US Senator Jim Inhofe released photos, which he claimed prove Russian troops are in Ukraine. These were subsequently found to be fake. Like every other single ‘proof’ has been found wanting.

Think about that for a second, another second: it’s been a year since Maidan, since Yanukovich was chased out, and still not one piece of ‘evidence’ has been made to stick. Not one. While the US have the most advanced spy technology ever seen on the planet, it has not been able to produce one piece of information, for a whole year, to prove its assertions that Russia provides weapons to the ‘rebels’, sends soldiers to fight in the Donbass, or has anything to do with shooting down a plane. Not one single piece of evidence.

And then comes Inhofe. Who’s a bigwig, and whose claims may well sway Senate votes towards sending US arms to Kiev:

Inhofe Releases ‘Exclusive’ Deathly Images To Free Beacon That Are Not

Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) released photographs Thursday of what he says is confirmed Russian military action against Ukraine. He gave them “exclusively” to the Washington Free Beacon. Except there’s just one problem — some of the photographs given to WFB from the 80-year-old senator date back to 2008 from the AP and aren’t exclusive at all.

The photos are fake. Completely fake. Just like all the other evidence presented over the past year. There is nothing that proves any Russian involvement. And if there were anything, you bet your behind they would trump it all over Fox and CNN until the cows had come home and left again for greener pastures. The US is attempting to start a war out of nothing, and for nothing, just because a group of deluded people think they can, and need to, conquer the largest nation on earth for their own advantage.

At roughly the same time Senator Inhofe tried to peddle his fake pictures, Ukraine ultranationalist leader Dmitry Yarosh, of the Right Sector, proclaimed he wouldn’t honor the Minsk deal.

Ukraine Right Sector Leader Rejects Peace Deal, Vows ‘To Continue War’

Ukraine’s Right Sector leader Dmitry Yarosh said his radical movement rejects the Minsk peace deal and that their paramilitary units in eastern Ukraine will continue “active fighting” according to their “own plans.” The notorious ultranationalist leader published a statement on his Facebook page Friday, saying that his radical Right Sector movement doesn’t recognize the peace deal, signed by the so-called ‘contact group’ on Thursday and agreed upon by Ukraine, France, Germany and Russia after epic 16-hour talks. Yarosh claimed that any agreement with the eastern militia, whom he calls “terrorists,” has no legal force.

Not only did Yarosh, who now says he wants to keep on fighting, play a pivotal part in the Maidan movement, and was heavily supported by the US and EU, this same man who ignores the agreement his own president signed, is a member of the Ukraine Parliament. And he’s on Interpol’s wanted list too. Yarosh, an acknowledged neo nazi, fights on ‘our’ side, and if if people like John McCain get their way, he’ll soon be provided with heavy US armory.

Not to be outdone, NATO has this:

Nato Head Says Alliance Has Data On Russian Military Presence In Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg claims that the intelligence service of the alliance has some documented data of Russian military presence in eastern Ukraine. Stoltenberg announced it on air of the Kommersant FM radio. According to Stoltenberg, the militias of eastern Ukraine wouldn’t have been able to achieve the success they are demonstrating without Russia’s support. He said that NATO receives data on Russian military presence in Ukraine from the intelligence services, journalists and other sources but presented no concrete facts.

Moscow has repeatedly denied alleged presence of Russian troops in eastern Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in late January that those accusing Russia of sending troops and weapons to the conflict-torn south-eastern Ukraine need to substantiate their accusations with proof. “We hear a lot about the flow of Russian troops and arms,” Lavrov said speaking at his annual news conference. “And every time I respond that if one speaks with such certainty, than one should present some facts. However, no one is either capable or willing to present the facts.”

Again, if they has any such data, it would be plastered over every news paper and every TV screen in the western world, and likely beyond. But, turns out, Stoltenberg is as reliable as Senator Inhofe and the rest of them are:

OSCE Chief Saw No Russian Troops In Ukraine’s East

Lamberto Zannier, secretary general of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), told a forum on OSCE’s project coordination in Ukraine he could not confirm the movement or the presence of Russian forces there…

To top off the madness, apparently yesterday, one day after the Minsk cease-fire accord, the EU announced new anti-Russian sanctions for Monday:

New Anti-Russia Sanctions to Enter Into Force Monday

Maja Kocijancic, European Commission’s spokesperson for foreign affairs, confirmed Friday that the EU will add 19 individuals, including five Russians, and nine entities to the list of sanctions over Ukraine on February 16. The statement was made a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin, together with the leaders of Germany, France and Ukraine, brokered a new deal on the crisis reconciliation in Minsk. “The political decision of additional listings has been taken on January 29. The [EU] Foreign Affairs Council on Monday adopted a legal act so it made it fulfilled this political commitment and has set to give the diplomatic efforts a chance that entering into force will happen on February 16, which is this coming Monday,” Kocijancic said.

The European Union, the United States and other countries have imposed several rounds of sanctions against Russia over its alleged role in the Ukrainian conflict. The restrictions target the country’s defense, energy and finance sectors, as well as a number of individuals. Moscow has repeatedly stressed that it is not militarily involved in Ukraine’s internal affairs. Following the Minsk talks, EU leaders convened for an informal meeting but a new-wave of anti-Russia sanctions was not on the agenda, European Council President Donald Tusk announced. Meanwhile European leaders agreed that the implementation of Thursday’s deal will become a touchstone for further relations with Russia.

That doesn’t make any sense at all, to declare new sanctions when you’ve just signed a deal. That smacks of less than honorable intentions.

Ultra right wing military hothead Yarosh, honorable member of the Ukraine parliament, states he will not abide by what his own superior signed, while the ink he signed it with was still fresh. Which means the Kiev government, and by extension the US and EU, can claim it wasn’t them who violated the accord, but it will be violated regardless. And then when the rebels, alternatively labeled pro-Russian or Russian-led, defend themselves against the Right Sector, the west will have its narrative to declare war on Russia.

And that will not turn out well for us, for you and me. There’s nothing there that will benefit us. The lives of our children will be sacrificed on the altar of a few handfuls of crazed psychopaths. Unless we stop them. It would seem there’s not much time left.

"conspiracy theorist" is a derogatory label coined by the media black arts practitioners specifically for the purpose of unfairly maligning or smearing any person who challenges the official government/media/corporate narrative about anything.

Because of this, the government media duo and the corporations they protect have a shield against all probing questions. As soon as you cause any static, you're a conspiracy theorist.

They have done the same thing with the term "gold bug". It's a derogatory label, coined for the specific purpose of generating negative connotations about gold and enthusiasts.

When will you start thinking?!

Why i have to read such nonsenses like that:

"There is nothing that proves any Russian involvement"

"And if there were anything, you bet your behind they would trump it all over Fox and CNN until the cows had come home and left again for greener pastures."

Have you seen what weapons are used? Do you really think that separatists could do such huge progress with kalashnikovs only? Or maybe they have bought their heavy weapons at some kind of ukrainian Walmart? Who writes such plain stupidities?!

There are plenty evidences of russian troops etc. So why Fox or CNN doesnt show it to you? Because Russian and NATO are too sides of just one and the same enemy!

Do you really think that they enter Ukraine with their flags waving in air? Who can be such a dumb? They have their uniforms without distinction etc. But there are many russian soldiers killed and identified.

It is really funny that here in Eastern Europe i can daily read about Putin's atrocities and nothing bad about NATO but you read only about good Putin and bad NATO ;)

As i wrote it earlier. First read e.g.

http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/red_symphony.htm

then check "Litvinienko" and so on. Don't be dumb!

And finally. Want you to know what is this war about? This staged war? It is to make big crisis, depression. Remember 2008? Georgia-Russia? And financial turmoil?

This game is the same. Though much bigger. It will be really big. They are playing this game constantly: playing some stupid people against other stupid people. They choose your enemy for you. You will love Obama or love Puitn. You will fight, you wont believe me. While they will laugh. Loudly. The game, plain and simple. Made so many times. And people still so dumb.

What do you think, what deserve this dumb people? Will they respect the sheep? Do they respect the sheep?

Noo

It is like kind of paranoia. Why people here are using double standards? You can find video where Putin, when had become president, reports to his fellow KGB agents: the task accomplished.

I dont really grasp it. You know e.g. about Bush'es CIA background. Their promoting of every special service. Their promoting of secret operations and so on.

But!

When you have Putin, with the same background. Putin educated and trained within former ZSRR. Trained to kill. To deceive and so on.. Then you just dont believe. You believe he is democrat, you believe in phony murder.

It is ridiculous. There are so many (hundreds) press journalist killed in Russia. Everyone who is trying to tell this inconvenient truth is killed. Is this all phony?

Have you tried to watch Litvinienko videos? What would be the goal of this phony murder? Phone murder is with no sense. But! Warning murder, kind of Mason murder, killing someone who betrayed has its meaning. It tells everyone what the traitor should expect.

It is always amusing me. How easy people are manipulated. How little they do to verify informations. We are living in time of deceiving. But! If only is something which is incovenient to us. Then.. it is just phony.

NATO, Obama and aliens probably are continuously creating these hundreds, thousands fake russian informations, creating the whole unreal world. The conspiracy task bigger then any conspiracy theory ever.

There must be many really crazy readers here...

But they all have very simple key how to know what is fake and what is real. Good Russia is real. Bad Putin killing Ukrainian and Russian with no difference is fake!

Thats all!

From Saker:

Behind the Great Western Firewall Is the Ugly Truth

......

It is hard to accept and very disillusioning to realize just how irredeemably corrupt and evil are the West’s supposedly democratic systems and the political and business leaders who own the process. All my thousands of hours of extensive research confirm this and nothing surprises me anymore. Especially that false flag operations are not the exception, but the banal norm of imperial national governments. They most certainly have been the weapon of choice since the first civilizations in Sumer, China, India and Africa, and they continue at a fast and furious pace in current events. This article lists many false flags that governments have admitted to, or were exposed by FOIA laws, while they last. False flags routinely change the course of human history. Let’s remember that Maidan in Ukraine was a classic false flag and since then, at least weekly, the West is launching one after another there, which has brought our planet to the threshold of World War III.

.....

Worth taking a look.

most people really neither want nor need war.

The warmongers are increasingly a smaller and smaller cohort relative to the rest of the  world-no more than a few hundred in one building in one city in one country making it all happen  around the world. Stands to reason that over time their influence wans in porportion to population growth. As time goes by their ability to hide behind their triple alphabet defences fortified with drone strikes will eventually fail them.

You do realize that a SU-25 cannot reach the flight altitude of a 747?  Especially the older models Ukraine has.

You do realize that a SU-25's top speed is only equal to the crusing speed of a 747?

And that a SU-25 has no radar, so requires the pilot to visually spot any aircraft.  Neither is it pressurized since its not capable of going that high.

That bit of Kremlin propoganda you have posted is a revolting lie, the real truth is simpler, some murdering scumbags fired a BUK missile at them, the responsibility for the attack lies with the people who supplied and fired that missile, one of them at least is in the Kremlin.  I do hope he gets the same end as the other person responsible for killing 300 people on a plane flight, a bayonet up the bottom would be fitting.

Send old men and especially rabid politicians to war; let the young savor their youth with all four limbs and an intact mind...

Well, it’s one, two, three, look at that amputee,

At least it’s below the knee,

Could have been worse, you see.

Well, it’s true your kids look at you differently,

But you came in an ambulance instead of a hearse,

That’s the phrase of the trade,

It could have been worse.

First verse of a Vietnam-era song written by U.S. Air Force medic Bob Boardman off Country Joe McDonald’s “I-Feel-Like-I’m-Fixin’-to-Die Rag”

But it’s seven, eight, nine,

Well, he finally died,

Tried to keep him alive,

but he lost the will to survive.

The agony that his life would have been,

Well, you say to yourself as you load up the hearse,

At least, it’s over this way, it could have been worse.

American's have destroyed America. They have sank so low most have no shame or conscious. Any outside group of people murdered by their government is fine with them so long as they feel safe and someone else does the dirty work.

Americans allow their government to involve them is foreign wars, to threaten the worlds People with nuclear holocaust and to even threaten them with unlawful detention or worse death which they think, like the German People in circa 1930's, will never happen.

The elite NWO oligarchs would love that idea (and it is a component of some members' long term plans).  It's quite easy to sell the masses on the benefits of Option A, when the masses have no grasp of the intricacies of complex systems and their feedback mechanisms, while at the same time stripping of their recourse when Option A is realized to be something other the "logical" bill of goods proffered...

the "horse" is out of the barn, but you sound like a condescending adept (though that may not be what you intended).. what role do you see for governments that a handful of short perl scripts couldn't readily accomplish

Sun, 02/15/2015 - 13:11 | 5787008 Urban Redneck
Urban Redneck's picture

The better question would be what role do you see for governments that a handful of short perl scripts could actually accomplish?

The federal government should be limited to those roles which it alone can fulfill effectively, such as foreign policy and providing for the common defense.

Unfortunately, those areas are exactly the wrong areas to reduce decision making to a binary process, but where decision making is currently reduced to the output of handful of short Perl (or other) scripts.  Hence, General Hayden and "We kill people based on metadata", or the zero-sum game theory behind US intervention in Ukraine.

What you need in government are honest PEOPLE with (at a minimum) reasonable intelligence, and cognizance of the limits of their intelligence, and who are able to evaluate more than a strictly pre-defined set of inputs before arriving at a conclusion.

I actually am a certified, qualified and experienced expert in this area... when the banking industry tried automation of loan decisioning and collateralization back around the turn of the century, it was quite obvious that the automation of the decision process (which everyone outsourced to Fair Isaacs, Experian, et al) did not take into account the borrower's ability to repay under certain relative interest rate scenarios that were entirely expected under Greenspan's post-9/11 LIRP, moreover the pricing models that BlackRock was peddling to the entire industry on the wholesale side were simply an overpriced overly simplistic repackaging of Black-Scholes and also ignored the borrower's ability to repay under certain relative interest rate scenarios, and thus incorrectly calculated default risk.  But then when experts stand in the way of Profit! or Progress! - idiots tend to ignore the experts (so the post may have been a bit condescending, but that was not my intent...).

I am not a McCain fan AT ALL.  TBS, how do you lay the USS Forrestal fire on him?  It is a Zuni Rocket from an F4, that hit a A4, and the A4 bombs went off in cascade explosionsa because of the fuel fire.  PLUS, the 1000 pounders they were using were a different type and a WWII variant, more powerful and even more temperature sensitive than comtempary 1000 pounders of the day.

One of my friend's father served on that ship and was there that day.

You don't like McCain?  I am fine with that, I don't like him either.  However, he was not the cause of the problem on that ship that day.

All these things are happening as we speak, and we accept them lying down – on our couches - and choose to ignore and even deny them, because we are trapped in narratives spun by those who see a profit in spreading these narratives. And who have a solid grip on what gets spun and what is not.

Well it IS true.  However, think of the times the US took action on it's own (or any other country for that matter) for a perceived threat of people being hurt: "War: people dying from sheer misery, people dying because they have no access to the services we take for granted, and even people being shelled by their own government."

Syria, Ukrane, All the crap in Africa, Congo, etc., Middle East.  Anyone can step in ON EITHER SIDE and try to claim the moral high ground.  Who is right?  The victors usually write the history.  I think whe it comes to ISIS and the like "evil" and fighting it is a pretty clear discrimination, however, when it moves into Syria it blurs a bit.  Viet Nam was that way, some say the Gulf War II was.

My point and one the author misses:  WHY would any country step in and try to help, when the UN or others come in and blame the "aggression" on the "world policeman".  The D's or R's always pillory each other that they do not need to be the world's police man when "the other guy" is in power.  But switch who is in power and now it becomes a "moral imperative" to back whomever.  See "Sandinista's" for relevance.

It seems more and more "why would a country wast all that money and treasure" just be labeled an imperialist or conqueror.

I think the US learned it's lesson in Iraq.  Iraq was a case study in domestic political bipolar disorder.

Quotation (for educational purposes) :

"Banking was conceived in iniquity and born in sin. The Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create deposits, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take away that power, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear -- as they ought to in order to make this a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of Bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, then let them continue to create deposits."

Ukraine’s Right Sector leader Dmitry Yarosh... The notorious ultranationalist leader … Raul Ilargi Meijer

The world Zionist political movement has absolutely nothing to do with nationalism. For it to link so-called right wing Nazis with these efforts is simply Zionist propaganda. The idea is to mislabel the movements; black is white, up is down, and internationalism is ultranationalism.

The central idea for the New World Order is central control . And its target is to remove sovereignty from nations who would oppose it. As G. Edward Griffin explains, the river of wealth created by the Fed out of nothing and flowing to the banking cartel is not accumulating somewhere as a lake of money. “It doesn’t work that way,” he says. "It goes to buy power."

This money buys control over every group in society that has influence. The money created the European Union. The money bought a revolution in Ukraine. And the money has bought the U.S. Congress and its war-making machinery.

When the sovereignty of a nation is destroyed, then it becomes helpless in the wake of the cartel. And when economies subsequently break down, Griffin explains that the people are more willing to accept the control coming from the cartel.

Any enemy of the cartel that stands in its wake of world control, as does Vladimir Putin, is freedom’s friend; and any man that aids that cartel, as does Inhofe, is an enemy of the people.

The EU was sold by the NWO propagandists as a common free trade area, a European trading zone that would benefit all. It is not. It is a Trojan horse of a common currency, of an all controlling central bank ultimately leading to one central government for all countries, a New World Order, and a total loss of sovereignty and national identity for all peoples.

As for the EU's Donald Tusk, it was Tusk’s government in Poland that helped prepare the Ukraine coup d’etat.

Future Jim

I  have to reach back into the cobwebs in my head. But 2 crucial factors come to mind as to the decline in the velocity of money:

1. How many USD's (FRN's) exist in transactions external to the domestic economy. Most foreign trade, even between 2 non-US countries is still done in USD. Say, Brent crude, none of which is produced in the USA, is bought and sold in USD.

2. Does the Fed's definition of velocity for M2 exclude the trillions of dollars trading paper-stocks, bonds, and derivatives?  The parasitical part of the economy bent on hammering up paper asset prices that essentially does nothing to improve GDP, yet is all transacted in USD.

And some people talk of "excess reserves" at the Fed- $2-3 Trillion? as being unavailable to the money supply but if the banksters can borrow against excess reserves, then it absolutely forms part of the money supply.

The WWII Dresden Holocaust – ‘A Single Column Of Flame’, Rense.com, 2.6.2002 – Author Unknown

“You guys burnt the place down, turned it into a single column of flame. More people died there in the firestorm, in that one big flame, than died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.” –Kurt Vonnegut, Jr

On the evening of February 13, 1945, an orgy of genocide and barbarism began against a defenseless German city, one of the greatest cultural centers of northern Europe. Within less than 14 hours not only was it reduced to flaming ruins, but an estimated one-third of its inhabitants, possibly as many as a half a million, had perished in what was the worst single event massacre of all time.

Toward the end of World War II, as Allied planes rained death and destruction over Germany, the old Saxon city of Dresden lay like an island of tranquility amid desolation. Famous as a cultural center and possessing no military value, Dresden had been spared the terror that descended from the skies over the rest of the country.

In fact, little had been done to provide the ancient city of artists and craftsmen with anti-aircraft defenses. One squadron of planes had been stationed in Dresden for awhile, but the Luftwaffe decided to move the aircraft to another area where they would be of use. A gentlemen’s agreement seemed to prevail, designating Dresden an “open city.”

February 13/14 1945: Holocaust over Dresden, known as the Florence of the North. Dresden was a hospital city for wounded soldiers. Not one military unit, not one anti-aircraft battery was deployed in the city. Together with the 600,000 refugees from Breslau, Dresden was filled with nearly 1.2 million people. Churchill had asked for “suggestions how to blaze 600,000 refugees”. He wasn’t interested how to target military installations 60 miles outside of Dresden. More than 700,000 phosphorus bombs were dropped on 1.2 million people. One bomb for every 2 people. The temperature in the centre of the city reached 1,600 Centigrade. More than 260,000 bodies and residues of bodies were counted. But those who perished in the centre of the city can’t be traced. Approximately 500,000 children, women, the elderly, wounded soldiers and the animals of the zoo were slaughtered in one night.

As the world has since learned, since 1945, Dresden was the last thing from a military target, few military placements and few industrial support factories for the war. It was a cultural center and it’s easily seen that its target was the civilian population and their heritage.

It was, in Vonnegut’s words, “the greatest massacre in European history.”

And it’s easily seen that the fire-bombing of Dresden was hatred toward a people, not military strategy. The mentality of its aggressor is depicted in Slaugherhouse-Five by Vonnegut:

“I think the climax of the book (‘my Dresden book’) will be the execution of poor old Edgar Derby,” I said. “The irony is so great. A whole city gets burned down, and thousands and thousands of people are killed. And then this one American foot soldier is arrested in the ruins for taking a teapot. And he’s given a regular trial, and then he’s shot by a firing squad.”

I fully agree that Dresden was a massacre-one of many on both sides.

But Hitler would have happily incinerated every city in England if not for luck. For it was only Nazi bad luck and English good luck that the Hawker Hurricane and Spitfire were even in production. The British Parliament debated whether or not producing fighter aircraft might hasten Hitler's war plans, before they passed the spending bill for increasing plane production.

And unrepent British Imperialist that he was, Churchill was also keenly aware that the King of England was a German transplant; the king's father having changed the royal lines' name to Windsor from Saxe-Coborg Gotha only 20 years earlier.

Hope you are well my friend

THE PRIVATE AND POLITICAL TESTAMENTS OF HITLER, APRIL 29, 1945 (excerpt)

“It is untrue that I or anyone else in Germany wanted the war in 1939. It was desired and instigated exclusively by those international statesmen who were either of Jewish descent or worked for Jewish interests. I have made too many offers for the control and limitation of armaments, which posterity will not for all time be able to disregard for the responsibility for the outbreak of this war to be laid on me. I have further never wished that after the first fatal world war a second against England, or even against America, should break out. Centuries will pass away, but out of the ruins of our towns and monuments the hatred against those finally responsible whom we have to thank for everything, international Jewry and its helpers, will grow.

Three days before the outbreak of the German-Polish war I again proposed to the British ambassador in Berlin a solution to the German-Polish problem—similar to that in the case of the Saar district, under international control. This offer also cannot be denied. It was only rejected because the leading circles in English politics wanted the war, partly on account of the business hoped for and partly under influence of propaganda organized by international Jewry.

I have also made it quite plain that, if the nations of Europe are again to be regarded as mere shares to be bought and sold by these international conspirators in money and finance, then that race, Jewry, which is the real criminal of this murderous struggle, will be saddled with the responsibility. I further left no one in doubt that this time not only would millions of children of Europe’s Aryan peoples die of hunger, not only would millions of grown men suffer death, and not only hundreds of thousands of women and children be burnt and bombed to death in the towns, without the real criminal having to atone for this guilt, even if by more humane means.” ~ Adolf Hitler

Churchill and his Patrician ilk are all sociopathic scumbags with powers of persuasion.

They will alway sacrifice any number of people, to achieve their objective.  They have no pity or remorse.  E.g. Coventry, Dresden.

The City/Crown banksters needed that belligerent bulldog for WW2, but then promptly got rid of him, when his job was done.

Well if something does heappen it would be best if it were 'major' vs. submajor.  Submajor would reslult in the continuance of such things as credit card bills and people being thrown out of their homes due to loss of jobs and not paying taxes.  It's hard to imagine any type of economic recovery with the world on the brink of war.  People in the US are so fucked in the head if the state next door gets nuked they'll still be going to work with a paper dustmask for fear of losing a job.  Good lucking prepping, this mofo's gona fly apart at the seams.  Luck will be the only way out.

And on a sidenote, if things get truly bad there's really only one way to get away from this madness and I reserve the right to use it.  From the outside looking in, imagine a sci-fi show that shows a bunch of slime with creatures crawling out it, spend their entire existence killing and eating each other, and then eventually evolving into humans that are still doing the exact same thing.  An easy conclusion would be just kill yourself because it's a pathetic existence and  you're not worthy of the universe.

I know that opinion may sound bad at first but imagine our current economic trajectory with the continued threat of war over the next 10 years.  Would you prefer increased, prolonged suffering or the small chance of rebuilding or death?   A ten year march to tent city is a very miserable road.

Pandering.

Reports on the ground all now say "we are Russian." That makes them "the invader."

And that makes this a Civil War. (Three way would appear.)

And that makes this article propaganda.

Why do i not simply look at this fight as people defending their home and property against a Russian aggressor?

We'll see how the cease fire turns out...but sometimes folks are just ready for a fight too.

Once the fighting starts they will be the ones to determine the "truth" not us sitting over here in our comfy homes.

Write me a story about "I just got back from Ukraine and this is what I saw" and then I would read it.

"narratives spun by those who see a profit in spreading these narratives. And who have a solid grip on what gets spun and what is not"

Any rational person can now see clearly the Western, especially US, media has become a manipulation machine. Of course lies are told now to manipulate us politically to support the Neoconservative war agenda, the Banker's Neoliberal economic agenda and the Zionists global agenda of wealth and power control.

But lies are just the half of the manipulation by corporate media. What they chose not to report is just as powerful as full on lies. And telling half truths, out of context is a powerful tool to manipulate the citiznes minds. Media does not report news, so much as it uses marketing techniques to form, mold, shape and manipulate our political attitudes to suit the agenda of the tiny elite class of rulers.

Corporate media is owned by a tiny handful of mega corporations. They decide what the nightly news will be, and what will be in the movies you go to, or the TV you watch. These corporation ALL own substantial units of the Military Industrial Spy complex. The make billions in profits for things like the War on Terror and NSA spying programs. They even worm their way into education by deciding text books and multi media content for our kids, these are the corporations our school districts contract with for content to funnel into class rooms.

Perhaps worse than lies, much worse, is the successful adoption by nearly every American of the idea that Opinion equals Fact. The idea that Opinion, shaped by the media, can trump demonstrable facts. I have argued cases where I can present facts to disprove another argument, the result of that proof is the other party saying "Well those are your facts, not mine." The media and education both have teamed up to create this world where Facts carry no more weigth than mere opinion.

Iraq did not attack America on 9/11. There are more than enough facts to prove that statement beyond any rational doubt. BUT, a good 1/2 of all Americans, KNOW that Iraq attacked American on 9/11. They don't think Iraq attacked, they KNOW it did. How do they know? Well, because media planted the idea based on lies into their heads, and once opinion is formed, then all debta is off the table.

MH-17 was clearly, and by proven physical evidence and by destroyed evidence volumes, shoot down on a flight over a war zone, directed to fly their by Ukrainian ATC, and to even lower altitude once over the zone of Anti Aircraft combat. Radars and eye witnesses saw and heard the MH-17 gunned and missiled out of the sky. The body of the plane riddled with 30MM cannon shell holes. A Ukrainian SU-25, perhaps two of them, attacked and shot the MH-17 flight down. These are in the realm of facts. But Western Media arrived minutes later with another story, a story of immense aid to Washington DC, a story before any evidence was even gathered. An evidence free story, that Russian President Putin ordered a rebel BUK missile to shoot the plane down. With all facts able to prove this story false, most Americans Know it was Putin and his rebels. Since all facts point to the truth, the Media has gone black, silent, they dare not speak of flight MH-17, not even the planes owners or relevant government dare speak of flight MH-17. MI5 of Britain has possession of the black box and refuses to let anyone see it or hear it's contents, a black hole if you like.

WHY, simple the media works for Washington DC, what Washington DC wants, gets printed, what it does not want, goes into an Orwellian black hole.

Yes, folks, you are lied to and manipulated by all Main Stream Media. ALL of it.

Years ago I attended some provincial theatre where I saw a play which, to my greatest surprise, made quite an impression on me. The play began by one of the actors coming out on stage complaining about all the misery and injustice in the world. He did this for a while and then he lifted his hands in dismay and said: - "What can I do on my own?" He was followed by another actor who did exactly the same. Then there was another one and another and another until at the end all the actors came out on stage forming a whole crowd of people each of whom was lifting their hands saying: -"What can I do on my own?"

I am Russian and I must confess that I share the author's concern about the possible war between Russia and the US. I think that Washington is pushing for war using every pretext no matter how far-fetched it is to condemn Russia and justify its aggressive policy. I don't know what the WH's real motives and intentions are what I know is that unless the American people do something to stop their war mongering gvt we may all find ourselves in very dramatic circumstances. Leave your daily routine behind and give it a good thought because you may not have this chance later.

The time has come to act in a resolute and organized way. We must not let crazy politicians destroy the world for the sake of satisfying their ambitions. Otherwise we deserve to be annihilated.

I don't know how many Russian soldiers are in Ukraine, I hope more than 100,000 to defend its interests, always to be denied of course, it being a proxy war and all, with Russia clearly in the right. Now if the USA would like to send in their sons to die for the new Jewish genetic homeland (Khazaria) to be, and get this war out in the open, go right on ahead, Russia is not backing down and they are preparing for the worst in an asymmetrical way. Its Americas turn to be degenerated by the neo bolshevics, the Russians have had enough of that already.

Anybody attempt to hold their bile down to listen to C-SPAN this morning with the guest being U.S. ambassador to Ukraine from 2003 right before he cemented the first "Orange Revolution" that failed this morning on Russia's violations to the Minsk agreement and the lack of hope that they will cease attacking Ukraine?...

Not one word was mentioned about this announcment from Yarosh. It might as well be a parallel universe with the opposite happening in each!

Either Germany makes very public statements to the EU that the U.S. military and it's assets leaves it's Country or it's a known certainty that WWIII will happen(.)
