How One Russian Farmer Repaid His "Lickspittle Good-For-Nothing" Bankers

Tyler Durden's picture

For Russian farmer Alexander Bakshaev, the crushingly high interest rates the banks were charging him on his loan inspired a smelly protest... As Pro-Sibir reports, the fuming farmer repaid his loan with the equivalent value in manure.

As NBC News reports, the manure was worth 40,000 rubles ($610) - the exact amount he owed the bank, Bakshayev told Sibkray.ru.

"The whole of Russia somehow owes something now to these lickspittle good-for-nothing bankers with nothing to do," Bakshayev was quoted as saying.

He owns 70 cows and 20 piglets but his total debt is 1 million rubles ($15,400), he told Sibkray.ru. That's 34 times the average monthly salary in Russia of about 29,000 rubles ($450).

The Kremlin has said it relies on Russian farmers to fill the gap caused by an import ban on Western foodstuffs imposed in retribution for sanctions over the war in Ukraine.

However, punitive interest rates have left businesses struggling for money.

Bakshayev's creditor, the state-run Sberbank, blasted his stunt as "hooliganism" but police in the city of Kuybyshev saw no reason to detain the farmer.

Security guards did not appear in the hour that it took Bakshayev to dump the manure, plant the gallows and pose for interviews in front of the heap.

The words on the gallows say "Down with credit slavery" and "Bankers are the enemies of the people"

Thank you for appearing here at right time as example.

As you can observe on this individual - he has lost his mind to putin regime propaganda. He is supporting war on other nations. Ruling over others. Threatening others. That is not normal behavior in civilized world. But under putin regime propaganda it's normality. You can explain it by some inferiority complexes as person who would be happy with his life, satisfied person would not behave this way. Yes, this is good example to show how putin regime can change human being personality.

Thank you sir, you may now go.

While in the DC US it should be known that:

The most powerful weapon the American people have is Rejection.

The system of fraud and theft that has been built up upon the backs of the American people is dependent upon our backs. Withdraw our backs, and the whole scheme collapses. This is our greatest weapon.

Stop Paying--Put it into food, and precious metals, etc. They stole whatever "debt money" they loaned you in the first place (fractional reserve banking) and soon you won't be able to pay them anyways, so Stop Paying.
Stop Playing--Stop being a tool for them to use, mock, and call "stupid." Stop Playing.

Stop Obeying--If they are in violation of the Constitution then they are not legitimate anyways, so Stop Obeying their unlawful dictates.

The Four Rs
Rejection: Stop Paying. Stop Playing. Stop Obeying.
Revolution: It is inevitable, so prepare, as they are.
Retribution: The guilty must answer for their crimes against the American people and the Constitution. No “truth and reconciliation,” but “trial and Retribution.”
Restoration: Restore the American people, country and Constitutional republic.

The banksters need to repay us.

Nicely done!

In contrast, what happens in the US if you draw with chalk instead of leaving a pile of manure in front of a bank?

Do note the use of the past tense of "faced". Sounds like common sense prevailed, particularly once some publicity got shone on the subject. Score one for the media actually doing its job as watchdog.

Quite agree that such governmental abuses are outrageous and ought to be abolished everywhere.

Good lord!  I'm surprised this isn't an actually featured article on ZH.  Now if this guy gets charged............that would actually be a worthwhile case to go "Ferguson" over.  I wouldn't advise anyone to live, or even visit, that fuckwad of a state.  You do realize they are Mordor's biggest captor's right?  Nothing more than slave gatherer's.

Been reading the comments carefully on this one, and man, there are some jaded, self-defeating people on this board? Why? Why do you equate time on board, with intellect or analytical skills?

If you just step back a moment, and realize MOST on here have the same ideals and goals, ya, there are a few .gov trolls and such, but wouldn't it be more worthwhile to really read the comments and see that we are in the same shit bucket?

I may get downarrows for saying this, but we really need to come together, not tear each other apart. damnit!

In Siberia cities like Krasnoyarsk, 29,000 rubles is small change. Kuybyshev is small.  I just rechecked, it is Novosibirsk Oblast, which makes some sense but even Novosibirsk itself you make much more money.

He will get his chance to refinance.  Russia has to lower rates now that cheap credit from Europe has been cut off due to sanctions.  Then their economy will probably have a pretty decent boom if they keep their local politics and taxes in order, as in not do what Obama did to us.

Mon, 02/16/2015 - 19:38 | 5791913 Miketheterrible
Miketheterrible's picture

They have lowered it, but I doubt they will lower it any further.  The banks are using this as a way to force people to deposit and then gain more liquidity.  This method of CBR is really only to help bankers, not the economy as a whole.  There is a reason why Russian gov is providing thier own loan and bailout structure, mixed with agribank, to help local agricultural businesses.  Only the large corporations seem to be getting the low interest rate loans, as they are refinance loans of 8%.

Mon, 02/16/2015 - 19:46 | 5791955 Quinvarius
Quinvarius's picture

I guess that works too.  They are going to have to do something to replace the cheap European credit they were able to to put into their economy.  If the government does the work of the bankers, that would have the same effect.  The demand for the local credit and the currency is now probably enough to keep it stable through these programs if they don't go nuts.

Nice stubt, but it stinks of Charlie Hebro.  I know Manure and that is not what I see.  The Farmer and his buddioes will have this back in a wagon in 15 minutes tops (and he probably had a permit to do this also).  Anyway, in the middle of winter, frozen shit, don't stink.
