No baby-boom in France ? You must be kidding .

In the USA you seem unaware that there was a baby-boom in France after WWII. While France was occupied by the German nazis, all the young men had been either sent to Germany against their will, to work in German weapon factories ( forced labor) or were kept as war prisoners in Germany . Those who escaped hid in the country, in forests, in remote barns,  and joined the Resistance, organizing "terrorist" attacks against the German troops on the French roads. Then they secretly prepared the Allied aircraft landings, receiving orders through crypted messages on the Fench radio from General de Gaulle , from London . At home, we still had my father's old radio set .

Then the Russians freed the surviving Jews from Dachau and Buchenwald camps   where they were jailed ( I am sure your History books do not mention that the Russian troops freed the Jews from those terrible lethal camps) and the American troops together with the Canadian and British troops  landed in Normandy , all the operations being secretly organized in England and crypted messages were sent on the French  radio by General de Gaulle to the French resistants to prepare secret landing sites for the allied aircrafts . At home, we still had the iron "pickets" , the tools my father used at night in order to maintain white bed sheets on the ground in the fields  for the British secret night landings. The Resistants had to hide from both the French authorities ( the French government  obeyed the German Nazis) and the German Nazis and risked their lives . A lot of young French Resistants were killed .

After all the war prisoners, forced laborers and survivng Resistants came back home, there were a lot of weddings and quite a lot of babies were born, the baby-boomers . I am one of them . Some friends of mine had much older brothers and sisters born before the war , before their father was sent away to Germany as a war prisoner or a forced laborer.

I hope my explanation is clear enough .

I'm a "boomer" I was 13 when the Cuban missile crisis (in 62) threatened us all with extinction. Strangelove was released in 64 I believe, so those pictured watching it on the old black and white (not very likely) are demographically known as the "echo" to the" boom". The boomers both fought and protested the Vietnam Genocide and brought forward , for better or worse, the internet. We grew up in the cold war and the fear of a nuclear holocaust and the enemy was marketed heavily by the state, but the press was not as totally state run as it is today, so some dissenting voice was readily available, even if it was the I F Stone Weekly, university pamphleteering or the many alternate newspapers that sprung to life back then. There was a feeling that revolution was in the air but one by one we tired and settled for the corporate provided society, though the fire has never really left our bellies.... those of us opposed to blind alleigience that is.

Couple of things about growing up in the boomer generation that seems to be different from today are 1) play, and 2) TV.

When I was a kid once school let out for the summer, you NEVER stayed inside your house except to sleep and eat unless it was raining outside. For one thing, few people had air conditioning, so it was too hot to be inside. You got up in the morning, played baseball, football, basketball, whatever you get the group of kids to do. You'd occasionally go fishing or take 'bike hikes' to distant lands (lol - anything >5 miles from home).

When it got dark, all the neighborhood kids would play kick the can or hide and seek until our parents called us in.

If it was raining then you'd stay inside but play games and stuff, rarely would watch TV.

You would never pass a ballfield or park that there weren't kids out there playing. In the winter you were outside as much as possible and played hockey, had snowball fights, build snow forts, sledded or whatever. Or, you'd shovel the basketball court and shoot hoops.

What I see now days is NO KIDS at any ballfields or parks unless there with adults or involved in some organized activity.

I see the ads for these war game videos that make me wonder just what is it we are trying to train these kids to do/be?

If they aren't playing video games then they are watching questionable crap on TV.

The times, they have already a changed............

It's amazing, but the exact same thing seems to have applied all over the Western World. Even as a four-year-old in Ireland I wandered all over my town and if I got lost, as I frequently did, somebody brought me home. All my friends were the same and not one of us ever came to any harm. I know from having spent holidays in England that it was the same there. We have lost something very precious in the intervening time.

if you were a boomer you probably grew up on b&w tv with rabbit ears. color came later, and the signal was never strong enough to drive a color set. you need cable for that. i watched a lot of old movies, mostly those w2 propaganda films, but so did George Lucas (he took the framing, the action and the editing for his Star Wars series) . Martin Scorcese grew up watching Italian (neorealist) films in NY, its where his career began. TV was the link to movies. it was also the link to news and politics, most every boomer remembers watching the Kennedy funeral on TV. then there was the expansion of late night TV conspiracy theorists going over who killed JFK. by the time the Vietrnam war was starting young men were tired of John Wayne, and they gravitated back to the movies, the spaghetti westerns. Leave it to Beaver was middle class propaganda, Lucy was rehashed Chaplin routines, (no story really), that were done two decades earlier. silent films were out of favor. musical films and rock music groups (there were must have been ten thousand of them) everyone wanted a stereo. television wasn't that hot. this is the golden age of television, right now. the thing about culture in america is the gap between the boomers parents and their parents. when people came west they left everything behind. so these kids, boomers parents grew up without much culture, music and the arts, but also things passed down by generations, homepathic remedies and recipes, stuff like that. people didnt really know how to do anything, and they were buying into the mass produced commodities, like sliced bread. the women worked during the war and after the war they werent going to do the same old drudgery their mothers did, canning fruits and vegetables, they wanted to keep working, they didnt want ten kids hanging on their skirts, W2 was womens lib. now all those lost arts are coming back, cooking, gardening, canning, but there is a gap in media and arts, it was generation that lost track of the arts, and entertainment. so there was a generation gap between parents and kids. the boomers parents were less materialistic, they were savers, they remembered the depression. boomers were anti materialism for a while, but the global economy  ran over them like a tidal wave. it was too easy to exploit foreign labor and products. as a young boomer there were things you wanted to buy, now everyone just wants the money, you shove it in their birthday card, nobody gives gifts anymore. its all about the money

What it was like when baby-boomers were kids ?

Though I am a baby-boomer, I never watched all that stuff and do not regret it .

I was 14 when television reached our small French town but my parents were not rich enough to buy a television set. When they finally got one, I had already found a job far away from home and never watched television . We could not afford going to the movies either. The only information we had was the newspaper and the radio. My father, as all our poor working neighbours used to do, used to read the Labour press and was aware of what was happening all over the world. He was an ex Resistant ( so-called "terrorist" ) against the Nazi occupation and the Resistants were called "terrorists" by the French authorities and the French Army while France was occupied by the German Nazis.

Born just after WWII, sincerely I did not miss television as we had a lot of creative tasks at home and a good public library for such a small town . I read a lot and during summer evenings, until midnight, all the neighbours brought out tables and chairs from their kitchens and gathered in the streets for friendly chats, playing cards etc ... with all the children playing around . The teenagers gathered too, but apart. Those were  the blessed friendly times before television emptied the streets from children and neighbours . Unfortunately my father, who left for work at 5.00, never joined us .

My children, born in the seventies,  were allowed to watch a few cartoons on Wednesday afternoons, read a lot in the evenings, but had rather play outside with their friends when the weather was fine. On the contrary, my grandchildren play war video-games, watch television before and after school, do their homework too fast and never read, gullible of every TV propaganda . I am much worried for their future analytic abilities.

As for our 2015 television programmes in France, I regret such a marvellous educating tool as television should be, is spoiled by stupid violent series, idiotic films with bad actors, quizzes for ignoramuses, and cookery or singing false challenges with winners chosen beforehand, generally the sons and daughters of powerful people or TV people, as it is indicated by their  surnames  . The film and TV programme code titles always show the same list of famous TV surnames . But most of all, I cannot stand all the television economic, financial lies and pro-war propaganda meant for gullible TV watchers. The best way to get near the truth is to read foreign newspapers from all over the world, the BRICS press and the Western one as well . For each event, both sides of the same coin .

After such poor French television programmes, I am always happily surprised when I listen to good unknown  local composers and singers, watch good unknown films etc ...

I am a boomer and growing up we had an idiot box in our house. I was subjected to my fair share of idiocy.

However, to my parents credit, I also spent a great deal of time doing many other things like reading, drawing and painting, playing music, camping, hiking, fishing etc.

My thinking is it really is up to the parents to make sure their children get healthy mental and physical stimulation.

The combination of fatigue, work schedule and 24/7 MSM bombardment have made this a modern day tall task indeed.

Imagine if WB7 had his own show on HLN or FOX - I think the country would wake up... The thing I hate most is being played constantly though I know there is always a counter-move... most people don't want it.  We, including myself, are forced to look after ours - I don't want to be a rabble rouser or a target or to be made example of - I just want to be one of the people that lives, pays taxes, and dies... without much fanfare... who would stick their head out but only to get choppped off?

UPDATE:

Password cracking experts decipher elusive Equation Group crypto hash Mystery solved after crackers find Arabic word that dogged Kaspersky for weeks.

http://arstechnica.com/security/2015/02/password-cracking-experts-deciph...

Unraveling a mystery that eluded the researchers analyzing the highly advanced Equation Group the world learned about Monday, password crackers have deciphered a cryptographic hash buried in one of the hacking crew's exploits. It's Arabic for "unregistered."

Researchers for Moscow-based Kaspersky Lab spent more than two weeks trying to crack the MD5 hash using a computer that tried more than 300 billion plaintext guesses every second. After coming up empty-handed, they enlisted the help of password-cracking experts, both privately and on Twitter, in hopes they would do better. Password crackers Jens Steube and Philipp Schmidt spent only a few hours before figuring out the plaintext behind the hash e6d290a03b70cfa5d4451da444bdea39 was ??? ????, which is Arabic for "unregistered." The hex-encoded string for the same Arabic word is dbedd120e3d3cce1.

"That was a shock when it popped up and said 'cracked,'" Steube told Ars Monday evening. He is the developer behind the free Hashcat password-cracking programs and an expert in password cracking.

"Our idea was, if the first hash means 'unregistered' in English, would it be possible that the second hash means 'unregistered' as well, but in Arabic?" Steube said. "So we tried to download some Arabic expansion packs for [website comment app] vBulletin, which is the forum software that was attacked here."

Shortly afterward, Steube and Schmidt cracked the hash. Blocking attacks against visitors bearing the username unregistered is an indication that attackers didn't want to infect visitors who weren't logged in. Instead, the attackers appear to have had specific users in mind.

Equation Group included six other hashes in different exploits that remain unknown at the moment. They appear to be generated by the SHA1 algorithm. They are:

  • 0044c9bfeaac9a51e77b921e3295dcd91ce3956a
  • 06cf1af1d018cf4b0b3e6cfffca3fbb8c4cd362e
  • 3ef06b6fac44a2a3cbf4b8a557495f36c72c4aa6
  • 5b1efb3dbf50e0460bc3d2ea74ed2bebf768f4f7
  • 930d7ed2bdce9b513ebecd3a38041b709f5c2990
  • e9537a36a035b08121539fd5d5dcda9fb6336423

Kaspersky researchers are still seeking help in cracking those.

Who would do something like this in arabic? Maybe some malware planted on a (jihadist's?) computer that tries to get into jihadist websites that allow unregistered users. Although Obama would never call them jihadists.

Since the Scribd account mentioned having already found 'unregistered' - apparently as an encrypted English term - looking for an Arabic equivalent makes sense. Hooray for the Kaspersky team as well as Steube and Schmidt. As a semi-retired geek, I wish someone would release source code for some of the stuff they've found, particularly the way that the registry was used on Windows PCs to hide stuff.

At this point the last undoubtedly clean machine I have is an old PC XT. Floppies are getting hard to find, however.

A Fanny Equation: "I am your father, Stuxnet"

http://securelist.com/blog/research/68787/a-fanny-equation-i-am-your-fat...

The second Stuxnet exploit (MS09-025)

If one piece of malicious software that used an exploit from Stuxnet before Stuxnet is a good catch, a second Stuxnet exploit makes it even more interesting.

The second exploit used to be a zero-day when Fanny was operational. This means that Fanny used two zero-days to replicate, both of which were later used by Stuxnet. The specific vulnerability used for privilege escalation was patched with MS09-025:

"The security update addresses these vulnerabilities by correcting the methods used for validating a change in specific kernel objects, for validating the input passed from user mode to the kernel, and for validating the argument passed to the system call. The security update also addresses a vulnerability by ensuring that the Windows kernel cleans up pointers under error conditions."

The same exploit was later used in an early Stuxnet module from 2009, which was embedded into a large binary built using the Flame platform. That Stuxnet module, also known as "atmpsvcn.ocx" or Resource 207 was the technical link between Stuxnet and Flame. This story has previously been covered in our post.

Many huge loving blessings, and graceful wishes for goodness in quality life to every hand on board. Even you, Barry and the trolls of hell.

Edumacation.: The path to wisdom comes from the seeds of basic common sense knowledge well planted early in the nubile mind and heart, and then carefully naturally propagated through life. We watch and learn from the great teaching nature as they grow.

God is nature. God is Love. Satanic luciferianism is NOT natural. Period!

Now here is some serial edumacation that one bets 88% of the crew do not know. It is time to plant some moar seeds of knowledge.

How many good folks here know about the CLERGY RESPONSE TEAMS?

Here's a tidbit to ponder from the linked stories below.:

In May 2006, we exposed the existence of a nationwide FEMA program which is training Pastors and other religious representatives to become secret police enforcers who teach their congregations to "obey the government" in preparation for the implementation of martial law, property and firearm seizures, mass vaccination programs and forced relocation.

A whistleblower who was secretly enrolled into the program told us that the feds were clandestinely recruiting religious leaders to help implement Homeland Security directives in anticipation of a potential bio-terrorist attack, any natural disaster or a nationally declared emergency.

The first directive was for Pastors to preach to their congregations Romans 13, the often taken out of context bible passage that was used by Hitler to hoodwink Christians into supporting him, in order to teach them to "obey the government" when martial law is declared.

It was related to the Pastors that quarantines, martial law and forced relocation were a problem for state authorities when enforcing federal mandates due to the "cowboy mentality" of citizens standing up for their property and second amendment rights as well as farmers defending their crops and livestock from seizure.

It was stressed that the Pastors needed to preach subservience to the authorities ahead of time in preparation for the round-ups and to make it clear to the congregation that "this is for their own good."

Pastors were told that they would be backed up by law enforcement in controlling uncooperative individuals and that they would even lead SWAT teams in attempting to quell resistance.

Though some doubted the accuracy of this report at the time due to its fundamentally disturbing implications, the story has now been confirmed by a KSLA 12 news report, in which participating clergy and officials admit to the existence of the program.”

Does anyone see a problem here? It's called, EVIL!

WAKE UP CHRISTIANITY!!! The only salvation this world possibly has for any kind of peaceful future, is in the right minded actions of the entire Christian world, American, Spanish, Italian, South American, and Russian good hearted Christians for the most part (there is NO DIFFERENCE), to all band together as one body of Christ to stop voting for and supporting these luciferian/satanic moneygod warmongering for profit evil political slaves of the zionist bankster owners of the US fed gov that are dividing and killing you all.

Every real non-brainwashed Christian WORLD-WIDE has one thing in common. They Love the Christ and they love each other. Knowing that, how can that majority of the world 's people fall for the evil that has them all fighting each other, so who can profit? Yes, that's right, satan and it's minions.

Luciferians and satanists all come from the same bucket of slop. No difference. All evil. All murderers. These evil central banksters are the free world's common enemies. No amount of govt garbagebag lying propaganda will ever change that fact. Evil is everyone's enemy!

The satan-Iphone tracker thingy has become god to many. They all religiously kow-tow to the Eye of Sauron, instead of the Man from Galilee.

Every hu-man and wo-man is now admonished and heartily encouraged to spread this Word far and wide. Act now to save yourselves, or later after death tell God on the other side why you did not act to stop the insanity of satans war on mankind. What would Jesus do? Every soul on board will answer to that Higher Power some day to be judged. No escape at all.

Only fools will ignore this edumacational saving Light/Knowledge. In truth, we are all one life force in individual packages. Each unique, yet One with all that is. Division is a dis-ease of man, not God. All humans were created as One Family of Man. Stop eating the poison of delusions, and lie pies. Use what God gave you. Use your heart to discern truth. The heart is after all, our greatest truth detector. LISTEN TO IT ALWAYS...one breath at a time. Let Love guide you, eternally.

For the sake of the world, much Love.

Using the experimental POISONOUS cancerous VACCINES, mycoplasims, and depleted radioactive ammunition, the babylonian govt is KILLING YOU ALL according to the evil satanic/luciferic bankster agendas of world domination, and population elimination. Proud families will eventually find out that every lost American soldier that ever went to the false flag started wars died for THEM to profit from. The evil banksters, not America or her people. Deal with it. There is NO deviation from this sad truth. No moar covering it up. They died for the moneygod, nothing else. Even sadder, 99% of most Americans do not even care either.

When there is no American military left healthy, there will be no one to properly defend the American people, or America. The latest example of troop killing was sending 3,000 of America's finest soldiers to go to Africa to be infected by the ebola. Like the military that spread the Spanish flu, they are coming home right now to help spread the ebola in America next. Your loving owners at work killing you all softly.

The good Captain Joyce Riley has cancer, sadly like many vets. They gave it their all, and the babylonian govt kicked them in the arse for it. Talk about horrible. Ask those trying to get medical help from the VA now. Stories on top of horrific never ending stories. Over 400,000 have already died of the radioactive gulf war sickness.

What we have to think is that we don't want to save us. In essence what we must do is edit "us" and click "save as" Human 3.0

That would take some difficult editing! Then add the fact that the system might crash before we get HUMAN 3.0 printed out...

Unfortunately we are currently stuck arguing "should we edit this document or not?". That's not good. That means we run the increasing risk of finally deciding to edit the document (give it a few generations) and having the system promptly crash on us. ooops. That was dumb.

Hard hitting pix, Banzai. Especially that TV pic at the top. (And Lady Liberty on the rocket, special mention to her.) I honour the Baby Boomers who are awake, but in "percentage" terms I think of the Baby Boom as our Lost Generation.

They serve as an example of how not to raise your kids: living proof that TV makes a terrible babysitter, and an even worse parent.

I wonder how strong, inventive, even heroic their generation could have been - with so many opportunities open to them that had never been, and will never be again - if TV had not rotted so many of their minds. As it is, what a horrifying waste of a huge and powerful generation.

I don't mean to tar all Boomers with that big brush. Those who are awake had to swim upstream all these years mostly without the internet, against tremendous social pressure. They are heroes for standing firm. I'm talking specifically about the huge numbers of Boomers who over the years became co-opted and served as trusting and wilfully ignorant servants of Mordor. TV put them under assault from the time they were small, and without guidance from parents and teachers toward critical thinking, they grew up trusting media and government in loco parentis.

Hey Renfield you're all over the place here in terms of a timeline.

In the '50s kids only watched TV during the day if they were sick and only rarely at night.

I had a paying job from the time I was 14.  Was reading Ayn Rand and everything else I could get my hands on from about 10yo and up and when I was a teenager hung out at bookstores with everyone else.

You said: Those who are awake had to swim upstream all these years mostly without the internet.  _Mostly_ without the internet? -- lol --  when the fuck do you think the internet became available to most people?  By the '80s/early '90s (when we got internet) we boomers had already read more in dead tree format than you probably ever will in pixels.

I'm really sick of you young idiots who know so little polluting the miinds of those even younger than you, and yeah, only the very young will believe this shit.  Problem is, they'll pass it on.  Great job of propaganda, Renfield.

You may be right about the majority of 'em being fed by the wolves. But some of us from the 60's are truly free thinkers, never buying the status quo bullshit. I believe we are Not No. 1. And We Are Not as Free as many think we are, but slaves to the powers in control. Some of us do control as much of our future as we can.

I'm quite sure my kids, neices & nephews all believed at some point that I was kinda of an odd duck, what with me always saying "What do they get out of it?"...my questioning of authority...of corporations...of the motives of people and institutions...my "Why is that so, why can't it be this, instead of that, as it should be?"

I'm here to report that over time, one by one...they all came back and said something to the effect of "You remember when you said____, I've been thinking about that because I read the other day that..." and I smile and say, thats all I ever wanted you to do, is think for yourself.

All is not lost ;-)

The baby boomer era is often overly glamorized. It was not a pure gravy train, the conditioning and volatility is evident if you look for it. The generational difference meme is pure Tavistock at its best, as it enables disassociation from critically thinking about the past & present. So each generation forgets about the horrific and pointless wars and incremental fiat banking control. Instead each generation is directed towards the "critical" issues of tomorrow and how the think global, act local solution is essential.
