Yeah, pre-FOMC positioning/hedging algos kicking in.

I've given up trading FOMC Wednesdays until after 2:35, when VIX and/or RVX often provide enough of a guide for moves in SPY or IWM, though lately we've even seen post FOMC movements sputter. It seems even algos get bored after awhile.
