Shots Fired: Schauble Says "Greeks Certainly Will Have A Difficult Time To Explain The Deal To Their Voters"

Tyler Durden's picture

Did anyone honestly not think the German finance minister would not have the final word?

  • GERMAN FINMIN SCHAEUBLE SAYS AS LONG AS THE PROGRAMME FOR GREECE ISN'T SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED THERE WILL BE NO PAYOUT
  • GERMAN FINMIN SCHAEUBLE SAYS 'THE GREEKS CERTAINLY WILL HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME TO EXPLAIN THE DEAL TO THEIR VOTERS'

He's right.

What is the Greek FinMin's reponse?

  • VAROUFAKIS: GREEK ATMS WILL HAVE ADEQUATE CASH

Good luck.

Honorable Sen Warren doesn't want you to know but...There's no gold backing the dollar. Nada, nothin'. It (your/my/their Grandpa's gold) was ALL given to the FED by FDR in exchange for paying interest only on T Bills.  See it (the 8 tons gold at FT Knox) in their(the FED's) annual report. Your taxes and mine go to pay the FED for the fantastic job they do adding digital numbers to back the T bills, and positively controlling the "business cycle"(translates: Not fucking you/us all with huge depressions/recessions, at least most of the time). NOT to fund Gov programs, as the FED does that. I suspect Sen Warren found this out once in DC and this explains why she went from brilliant economist(no sarc) to puppet politician. JMO

We all are ruled like serfs by the Globalist Banksters, there should be no question about that in anyones mind now.

i agree. Also, to all those who swore Syriza was really gonna show those bankers who is boss, this should put those thoughts to rest. Same as all the rest. Big govt socialist types go hand in hand with bankers and their bullshit

Exactly. The bankers love to host this kind of stage play. It creates the illusion that there was an actual negotiation.

The banksters are also the organizers of American elections where voters are under the illusion that they get to choose the president and the Congress critters.

Well played Schäuble.  Well played.

Wish someone would push SCHAEUBLE and his wheechair into a pit of crazed, hungry, boars like in that movie.

Chill out everyone, the Greeks just need 4 months to plan for a New Drachma roll-out when they give the BIS/IMF the finger this summer.

You can explain to their voters but not to our amerikan consumer.

The consumer is always right, except for those that are on the left.

Lefty or righty, the pitch is coming square up the bum.

Central Bank options for maintainting control

1) Threaten financial armegedon.

2) If your actions as a bank has already caused financial armegedon you have to move onto step 2, offer bribes to all officials.

3) If your financial armegedon and bribes did not work or you are experienceing diminishing returns, you have to move onto step 3, threat of Assasination

We all knew that Syriza would back down.  No "elected" party is going to get Greece out of this hole, it's going to have be a Majden-esque event.

I disagree - he bitched slapped them and now wants to piss on them. Why not? The Greeks have shown they're pussies and why not lead them around on a leash. The Greeks deserve it.

sun tzu's picture

The Greeks have pretty much been slaves to one empire or another for the past 2000 years anyway, from Rome to the Byzantines to the Ottomans to Nazi Germany. This time it's the central bankers.

Is this all that bad for Greece?  They get to suck a few billion more Euros from the EU, and get to suck enough money from the ECB to keep their banks open.  They also get to see that the Troika side is NOT going to yield, so the Greeks get four months to prepare for a Grexit.

Payne's picture

All they did was kick the can down the road 4 months, the Greeks have already stated that they are unable to pay it back.  Nothing has changed.

Smiley's picture

Oh please, who is really surprised by any of this?  Junkies will ALWAYS suck you off if they think they can get another fix.
