Spot The "Unequivocally Good" Odd One Out

Tyler Durden's picture

This won't end well...

Or is it exactly what The Fed wanted - a collapse in the nation's biggest hiring sector that 'enables' more money printing?

This is all going to plan once the oil rig's in the fracking industry have shut down to a lowest possible amount  in America ,then the price of oil will go back up and so the last growth industry in America destroyed by Obama and then his job will almost be complete.

This chart is horseshit. ALL of those sectors are, in some way or another, controlled by .GOV

What's interesting is the bubble and the subsequent crash in (housing) construction employment wasn't nearly as pronounced.

They can all rotate to tanker maintenance, as tankers are being rented like crazy to store all the excess crude. This is why the price cant be allowed to drop further or all those speculators will get caught with ships loaded with crude cheaper than when they bought it. Renting at around $45k a day, pressure for a price rise will increase as time goes on.... Yet if demand keeps dropping...well things will get even uglier. Expect to suddenly see a few tanker fires 'accidentally' break out.

Just like employment in the FIRE economy circa 2002-2006..... all of it fueled by easy credit.

Indexed to 100..??  I think the chart needs to be reflected in absolute, nominal terms.  While energy workers may have doubled, it's still much smaller in absolute numbers than many of the other sectors of the economy.

Don't get me wrong... still a problem as it corrects violently.  Just that the chart is misleading.

Well, of course. The plan is to force us to accept Swedish taxes, Romanian wages, Mexican crime rates, and Greek birth rates. Peckerwood proles getting their first chance at good jobs for good pay in a generation? That you can actually raise children on who might grow up to believe in God, love America and support patriots at elections? Anyone who thinks that was going to be stood for shouldn't be allowed out of the house without his mother.

If the Obama administration was trying to destroy the US economy and to get as many people as possible to be dependent on the government, the best way would be to create as much unemployment as they can. Being dependent on the government means they control you.

The above chart makes a lot of sense. The Saudis are good friends with Obama (the royal family sponsored Obama with a nice letter of reference to Harvard). They cause the oil price to drop and destroy the one US industry that's still making money and employing thousands.

...all part of the master plan!
