Greek Infighting Begins After Historic Syriza Member Slams Agreement, Apologizes For "Contributing To Illusion" Of Change
As the divergence between Syriza's leadership perspective on debt talks - "success...won the battle" - and the Greek voters - "It looks to me that nothing has changed" - grows ever wider, and on the heels of apparent near mutiny last week, there is growing division in the ranks of the newly elected party. Syriza MEP Manolis Glezos penned a stunning rebuke of the party's apparent U-turn and asks his electorate for forgiveness... "there can be no compromise between oppressor and oppressed... Pity, and pity again... I apologize to the Greek people because I have contributed to this illusion... before it is too late, let us react!"
In an article uploaded on the website of his Movement for Active Citizens, Keep Talking Greece notes Manolis Glezos - the historic member of the Greek left (best known for his participation in the World War II resistance) - expresses his deep disappointment about the way Syriza handles with the negotiations and calls for party members to decide if they accept this situation.

“Renaming the Troika into Institutions, the Memorandum of Understanding into Agreement and the lenders into partners, you do not change the previous situations as in the case renaming meat into fish.
Of course, you cannot change the vote of the Greek people at the elections of January 25, 2015.
The people voted in favor of what SYRIZA promised: to remove the austerity which is not the only strategy of the oligarchic Germany and the other EU countries, but also the strategy of the Greek oligarchy.
To remove the Memoranda and the Troika, abolish all laws of austerity.
The next day after the elections, we abolish per law the Troika and its consequences.
Now a month has passed and the promises have not turned into practice.
Pity. and pity, again.
On my part, I APOLOGIZE to the Greek people because I have contributed to this illusion.”
He then goes on to call for action...
Before it is too late, let us react.
Syriza members, friends and supporters at all levels of organizations should decide in extraordinary meetings whether they accept this situation.
Some argue that to reach an agreement, you have to retreat. First: there can be no compromise between oppressor and oppressed. Between the slave and the occupier is the only solution is Freedom.
But even if we accept this absurdity, the concessions already made by the previous pro-austerity governments in terms of unemployment, austerity, poverty, suicides have gone beyond the limits.
As KeepTalkingGreece reports, to Glezos’ sharp criticism, Syriza reacted rather cool and with respect to the senior veteran.
Government sources commented that “most probably Glezos is not well informed about the tough negotiations.”
However, the article triggered a vivid exchange of ‘verbal attacks’ on internet with opposition parties supporters -mainly pro-austerity – to mock Syriza ‘that even Glezos admitted you named the meat fish”.
Somewhere the leaders of the last Greek party that promises "change", the neo-fascist Golden Dawn, are grinning.

Options for Greece are limited. They can alway go knocking on new Brics banks but I wonder if they will lend a hand. Perhaps when they put Greek collateral up such as Piraeus harbor. Offering some islands to be used as MED basis for Ruskies or Chinese perhaps might do. Another hope could be if Ruskies scrap supplying gas to Europe via Ukraine but instead reroute it to Greece where the EU needs to go and pick it up. For a nice fee of course.

I’d say their “reaction” will be just another slave uprising: they reach the limit of their suffering; roam streets and countryside looking for anyone and anything remotely related to oppressing classes (Judeo-Bolsheviks, central bankers, their useless-idiot foot soldiers et cetera); perpetrate random slaughter and plunder of such classes; after a few weeks, peasants exhaust their fury and hurry back into their status as slaves.
Greeks need a better alternative: an intelligent revolution: one that advances the cause of liberty, not tyranny; one that rejects tyranny; not one that merely changes the color of chains.
Greeks, like Americans – indeed – like all men, have the same powers American Founders had. They all, when governments become destructive of right, have the right, or duty, to abolish or reform such governments and appoint new guardians of their rights.
There is a slight difference, and common similarity between Americans and Greeks. The slight difference is that Americans/Englishmen have publicly declared such rights and powers. The common thread is that hardly any man alive knows that he possesses such powers.
There are three main reasons for this failure: one is that Americans have no knowledge of such power; the second, they’ve been herded into a kind of impotent stupor by medication and indoctrination; the third, that they aid, benefit or are/were complicit in such evil.
There’s a remedy for all three of these failures: 1) learn, and use, the law and procedures of redress (full article); 2) follow a health regimen that has REDUCED – not slowed – my biological age 50 years (it also un-does the damage done by medication and indoctrination); and, 3) see number one.

Not only do Americans (or any other nation) not use such power, they also know practically nothing about IDEALS won/confirmed by the Revolution.
For example, Founders repeatedly declared that “no man is obligated to obey any law or pay any tax unless he has given consent to it”. Did they mean this literally? Of course they did. From the first English settlement to the Revolution this was how affairs of the colonies were managed. Every “law” and every “tax” had its origin in contracts between colonial assemblies and those who petitioned for redress of grievances. The terms of the contract were sometimes referred to as “laws” of the contract while its money payments were treated as “taxes”. And only petitioners were obligated to obey such “laws” and pay such “taxes”. When redress was completed, related “laws” and “taxes” expired.
There, in one paragraph I conveyed to you more real history than you learned in 12 years of elementary and high schools, and 4-6 years of university indoctrination. You won’t learn this and other lessons from professors, or judges, or lawyers; the first two depend on continued grievances for their pensions, the third never learned such history, or law.
This right of consent was won with the Revolution… and who knows it?

Well according to the rules, dear Wolfie, German banks should have accepted their losses they made because of bad investments in Greece. But suddenly rules did not apply to them and they got a bailout.

Yes, Magoo, a good article with respect to analysis of the problems, but then, it collapses back to euphemistic bullshit "solutions."

NONE of those kinds of alternatives can work without their keystone being some new system of death controls. Alternative murder systems are the lynch pins that hold together all the other components of any systems of alternatives. What is literally happening IS THAT ... Militarism is the supreme ideology, and deserves to be. However, there needs to be profound paradigm shifts in the ways that we think about death controls, and murder systems, especially after the development of weapons of mass destruction. Ideally, those should be intellectual scientific revolutions that are consistent with the paradigm shifts in physical sciences that have already occured to make things like electronics and atomic energy become possible.
The article you linked was another classic example of what I refer to as the positions promoted by reactionary revolutionaries, or the Black Sheeple: more than 90% good analysis of the problems, followed by the remaining 10% being collapse back to the same old bullshit "solutions." Of course, the problems in the Middle East tend to look worse than those in Southern Europe. However, in both cases, the "new governments" are promoting their "Illusions of Change."
Really radical change has to be spiritual, and in the post-modernizing world that has to be done in ways whereby science is creatively synthesized with ancient mysticism. Meanwhile, we are rushing at an exponential rate towards the limits of Neolithic Civilizations' social pyramid systems. Ideally, we should go through enough profound paradigm shifts to perceive that those social pyramid systems were always toroidal vortices.
The "truth" is not all that hidden, except it is buried under bullshit. For all the reasons outlines in that article you linked, Yemen is developing new governments, based on operating murder systems, developing different death control systems. However, those are not actually all that "different." Similarly in Greece, in a more muted, and still somewhat "civilized" way, there are an easy to identify list of much more profound problems, which have no good resolutions within the context of the established social pyramid systems, by which the banksters endeavour to maintain their control through continuing the debt slavery systems.
As my comment below outlined, Southern European countries are relatively on the periphery of the currently central empire, while the Middle Eastern countries were even more so. The first thing they did when getting into power was to abolish wealth taxes, then they cut down the amount the Icelandic fishing oligarchs pay for use of our fishing stocks to almost nothing.
Then they raised food taxes, something that has the greatest impact on the poor, and at the same time they lowered import taxes on things like home appliances, something that those who are rich or at least well off very much appreciated.
It is true that the mortgage loans for home owners will be corrected because of a inflation spike caused by the collapse of the banking system and this will be paid for by the banks, but because the mortgage loans are still indexed to inflation a new inflation spike could easily erase this correction in no time.

Here is an idea for debt relief: it is said that Greece hit half of its debt with the help of GS. So...I propose that the EU, EC and IMF (aka Troika....uhhh 'partners') go and fetch that part at GS while Greece pays back the other half. Hey Mario, how about going to knock on GS door? I am not surprised that the new government of Greece has turned out to be yet another manifestation of controlled opposition, since that is what they always sounded like they were saying. Some relatively peripheral countries, like Greece, are manifesting the basic problems, which are going to effect everyone else eventually. Generally, the vast majority of people have been brainwashed to believe in the banksters' bullshit, which is due to long history of social successes based upon being able to back up lies with violence, which have resulted in the established systems of government enforced financial frauds by privately controlled banks. That fundamentally fraudulent financial accounting system is driving irreconcilable social polarization, and even worse, is driving human beings to behave in ways which are causing irreparable destruction of the natural world.

As soon as one sees that the label of the new Greek government meant coalition of the radical left, it was already obvious that they were still stuck inside of the same paradigms, rather than making real radical changes to the paradigms of the perception of politics. However, given that the vast majority of people believe in the same basic bullshit world view, and want to continue to do so, there is nothing else which can be done from any practical political point of view.
To degree to which civilization is controlled by the crazy corruption of organized crime, being able to operate through bookkeeping which is based on enforced frauds, that monetary system has become like a totally metastasized cancer, or a parasite that is killing its host. Given that it is practically impossible for most people to understand the debt slavery system that there were born into, since they do not want to understand that, there are no ways to prevent the runaway DEBT INSANITIES from being actually resolved in any other ways than provoking DEATH INSANITIES.
The ONLY theoretically better resolutions to the real problems would require enough people understanding the basic facts that money is measurement backed by murder, and that it must necessarily be. Therefore, no theoretically valid solutions to the debt problems can exist which are not backed by changes in the death controls that back up the debt controls. Therefore, the only politically practical and possible resolutions to the real problems of runaway debt slavery generating numbers which are debt insanities are for that to continue to automatically get worse and worse, until that provokes much more severe death insanities than have previously happened.
The established systems of enforced frauds will continue to control civilization to behave in more and more criminally insane ways, while nothing can practically be done to prevent that. Eventually, the culminating environmental consequences are going to trump the social consequences. The vast majority of people are collectively behaving in ways which are based on attitudes of evil deliberate ignorance, because that is how they have adapted, for generation after generation, to become socially successful within pyramid systems which were based upon backing up lies with violence.
There are at least two different levels to those runaway political problems. Those are combined to form the existing money/murder systems, where the ruling classes provide their expedient sets of solutions to the chronic political problems inherent in the nature of life. Combined, that is the established systems of organized crime, surrounded by controlled opposition. There is practically no genuine opposition, providing more effective resistance, which could develop some sorts of new combined money/murder systems, because the vast majority of people do not want to understand that, theoretically, there are no realistic resolutions to the chronic political problems which do not include death control systems at their core. Instead, the actual history of the most socially successful death controls done through the maximum possible deceits continues to enable financial affairs to be based on the maximum possible frauds.
The latest events in Greece merely confirm that there is no practical, politically possible ways within the established systems for there to be anything else than controlled opposition against the dominate forms of organized crime. There are no practical, political ways to communicate to enough people enough of the radical truths regarding how and why governments are the biggest form of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals, and that they must necessarily be.
Instead of that, we are headed towards the established systems eventually causing their own psychotic breakdowns, in ways that the vast majority of people probably still will not understand, because they will likely continue to not want to understand! Greek citizens are actually members of an organized crime gang, called Greece. However, like citizens everywhere else, they have mostly been reduced to being incompetent political idiots, as demonstrated by the ways that the public "money" supply of Greece was NOT controlled by the Greek people, but rather controlled by the international banksters, who continued to take advantage of that power to defraud the Greek people to the breaking point.
Of course, even as the Greek people relatively suddenly, over the course of only about a decade, have gone through the banksters' bubble blowing, so that "normal" life for them was relatively suddenly collapsing, after being undermined by the banksters' enforced frauds, the majority of Greeks still appear not able to understand that, due to the degree to which they still do not want to understand that. Therefore, they elected another cosmetically concealed group to be their new government, which has been revealed to be another form of controlled opposition to the banksters.
I REPEAT: the basics are money is measurement backed by murder. There are no genuine solutions which can work outside of those basic social facts. Of course, the new government of Greece did NOT tell the Greek people that, because the Greek people did NOT want to hear that! The vast majority of people are continuing to indulge in DUALITIES, or false fundamental dichotomies and impossible ideals, while the real world continues to operate through the UNITARY MECHANISMS of organized crime surrounded by controlled opposition.
There are no good solutions to situations created by Millennia of social successes based upon backing up lies with violence. There are no good solutions to Centuries of political economy controlled by enforced frauds, which deliberately ignored the basic laws of nature, in order that those kinds of enforced frauds could continue to be socially successful. Rather, human society has become terminally sick and insane. There is the MAD Money as Debt system, backed by the MAD Mutual Assured Destruction system, which have developed to become globalized electronic monkey money frauds, backed by the threat of force from apes with atomic bombs.
Given that those are the FACTS, it is practically impossible to exaggerate how MAD civilization has become, due to being almost totally controlled by systems of organized crime, surrounded by controlled opposition groups. The only theoretically sufficient solutions would require enough intellectual scientific revolutions in political science, to change the ways that enough people perceive politics. However, the vast majority of people do not want to do that!
Instead, all of the collective sociopolitical MADNESS is headed towards psychotic breakdowns, as the runaway debt insanities finally provoke much more serious death insanities. The only way that might be mitigated is IF enough people understood how and why money must be measurement backed by murder, and therefore, how and why governments became the biggest form of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals, in order that enough people could become better citizens, to enable a greater use of information and higher consciousness to more realistically resolve the problems, by being more practical on all levels.
A genuinely better government of Greece would have to face those facts, in order to stop merely being a from of controlled opposition. However, that would NOT mean the "Golden Dawn," which looks like another, even worse, form of controlled opposition. Rather, what is necessary is to move past the language of false fundamental dichotomies and the related impossible ideals, i.e.: "Between the slave and the occupier is the only solution is Freedom."
That kind of language itself is more of the same old-fashioned "absurdity." Similarly, any "Grexit" is as impossible as a good solution as Greece no longer being part of the global economy. Greece is merely one of the leading edges, or waves of the established systems of organized crime surrounded by controlled opposition, operating through backing up deceits with destruction, or by enforcing frauds, developing severe social storms, towards tsunamis, due to the innate contradictions that backing up deceits with destruction does not stop those from still being deceitful, and enforcing frauds does not stop those from still being frauds.
The entire social pyramid system is based on the biggest bullies' bullshit social stories, running through the basic structure of the dominate natural languages and philosophy of science. Greece is an early warning sign of the basic ways that controlling civilization through being able to back up systems of legalized lies with legalized violence makes that civilization become crazier and crazier ... In that context, it is almost impossible to imagine how a civilization so totally dominated by a long, long history of social successes based upon backing up Huge Lies with Lots of Violence, could correct itself.

There is a third, stay in the Euro but default. Just means they'd be locked out of credit markets but that would be a good thing, they'd have to, how does one say, "live within their means".
