Caught On Tape: The Moment Boris Nemtsov Was Assassinated

Tyler Durden's picture

As the world contemplates the various 'provocation' scenarios - a Russian act, a CIA act meant to look like a Russian act, or a Russian act meant to look like a CIA act? - the following clip suggests this was anything but an ad hoc shooting...

The narrator suggests, as Nemtsov and his companion are walking along the road, a garbage truck (or cleaning vehicle) is behind them. When the garbage truck comes alongside the couple, it slows down, then moves ahead, then stops... and another man leaves the vehicle and jumps in a following car, which speeds away with tires smoking...

*  *  *

As Ukraineatwar blog concludes,

The video seems to be real, because the location EXACTLY fits the know murder spot. It does not seem likely that such a video could have been prepared in advance.

The murder EXACTLY takes place when the cleaning vehicle passes by. It is absolutely unclear where the assassin come from. Nobody can be seen walking towards or behind Nemtsov and his companion. Neither can somebody be seen walking to that specific spot to wait for them.

Therefore it seems very likely that the cleaning vehicle has something to do with it and the assassin could have traveled with the vehicle.

Since Nemtsov was shot from behind and the cleaning vehicle already caught up with them when the murder took place, it does not seem likely that the assassin traveled on the passenger seat next to the driver. He had to open and close the door and that may have drawn their attention. It seems likely that he had traveled on the back of the car. He could easily jump on and off and could also estimate if there were other people to close to them to do the operation at all at that moment.

Using a cleaning vehicle gives a lot of advantage: you can drive slowly, draw no attention, wait if necessary and thus pick exactly the right moment (with no other people nearby).

It does seem like the assassin had been following the couple already when he jumped on the vehicle. They may have crossed the road where the cleaning car was waiting. After seeing them pass by, it started entering the bridge. When they passed the assassin, he jumped on. In this way they could be sure that they had the right person AND they could pick the right moment without running to catch them up.

All the getaway car had to do was to wait until the cleaning vehicle got on the bridge, see the hit man jumped on and then get to follow from a distance to slowly catch up.

It all does look like a REALLY WELL orchestrated operation.

Totally weird is that there is no traffic at all behind them. Such a moment is very hard to pick, especially when you can see that there are many cars before the assassination moment. Right after the car picks up the assassin, new cars start arriving again. This indicates there had been some 'orchestration' here too. Either traffic lights had been red on all fronts or traffic had been halted in another way.

*  *  *

Of course - while this seems very coordinated - one might question the fact that surely they would be aware that cameras would be everywhere?

*  *  *

Questions remain, but Soviet ex-President Mikail Gorbachev is sure, the assassination of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov as an attempt to destabilize Russia. As Sputnik News reports,

"The assassination of Boris Nemtsov is an attempt to complicate the situation in the country, even to destabilize it by ratcheting up tensions between the government and the opposition,” Gorbachev said.

“Just who did this is hard to say, let’s not jump to any conclusions right now and give the investigators time to sort this all out,” he added.

Gorbachev did not rule out that the high-profile murder could encourage some people to urge the authorities to introduce a state of emergency, which he said would only exacerbate what is already a difficult situation.

It will be interesting to find out where they were just before this. Clearly his movements were being monitored, and the plotters knew his car was parked near the ramp. They might have been out at dinner, a party, poliitical meeting, etc., but when they left the killers were waiting and knew where they would walk. Also it was on the perimeter of Red Square which is huge, and bounded on all sides with streets.

Let's see. Putin orders his hit team to kill the guy with a well designed hit team using dual vehicles and does it almost under the walls of the kremlin, in site of all the security cameras in place there. Putin does this because he fears the power of a man whose political party could not win a single seat in parliament and whose approval rating hovered around the 1% level. Due to his fear that this man would sponser a Maidan style coup in Moscow, using the several thousand Russians paid by western NGO's to be professional activists.

The logic of this escapes me.

Let's see. Washington and Kiev are both losing their coup in Kiev. Ukraine lost the civil war, and the economy is in hyperinflation and economic collapse. A Western funded nobody who claims to be Pution's opposition decides to take a late night walk with his newly arrived young girl from Kiev, they just happen to walk into a hit team, funded and arranged by the Junta and the CIA. The west now has an excuse to put more sanctions on Russia, to smear Russia in the world press, to arm Kiev, etc. etc.

Which scanario seems logical.

And what was this young girl doing just flying in from Kiev, capital of the Junta? Would she convince him that she wanted a late night walk before going back to his pad saying "after a nice walk I will be up for fucking, sucking and jerking you off long time!"

The fact is obvious: this is a Malaysian Boeing, shot down by the Nazis at the walls of the Kremlin.

No! Something like 6-8 shoots, 4 hit him, the girl was unharmed, no shots were taken at her. Police took her into custody at the scene. Nobody else was hurt. It seems only he was a target.

It is said in Moscow news papers, that given the security cameras, an arrest should happen in days. But we will have to see.

Seems TPTB can't even be bothered to make this a little less blatant than an obvious "hit" that any 5 year old should recognise for what it really is.

So, is this a case of "we have so very little regard for your critical skills that we won't bother to make this effort any less obvious".

Or -  "We have our agents everywhere, so we can do whatever we like, whenever we like, AND blame the aggrieved for "causing" the death!"

Now that China has very clearly stated that they will back Russian interests (touch of self-interest always helps!), Vlad. need not be quite so politically careful in his actions (although I suspect he will remain extra - careful, in order to allow "The West" to continue to poke and prod, actions that are providing the "rope" with which the Western power facade will eventually collectively hang themselves - no Russian intervention required)

Good find; these are signs of the empire, the empire that seeks to enslave us.

It’s created public opinion - organized opinion shaped by the owners of the monopoly media to inflame hatred.

Putin, like the swastika, has been made into a propaganda symbol, used as a Pavlovian stimulus to arouse an instant stereotyped public emotion against Russia; it's a media tool of the Zionist/American world empire.

It’s a propaganda war for the mind fought with ideas, words, symbols, and imagery.

David A. Wemhoff in Henry R. Luce and The American Century writes: ”The budding science of Watsonian Behaviorism provided [Walter] Lippmann with principles that could be used to govern a society. In his landmark book, Public Opinion, which was published in 1922, Lippmann claimed that psychologists had discovered that a ‘conditioned response’ was ‘an emotion [that] is not attached merely to one idea.’ There ‘are no end of things which can arouse the emotion, and no end of things which can satisfy it,’ Lippmann wrote.

“The ‘whole structure of human culture is in one respect an elaboration of the stimuli and responses of which the original emotional capacities remain a fairly fixed center.’ Lippmann knew that mental images provoke feelings and these in turn provoke a reaction. Propaganda altered the mental images and essentially the proper and effective use of propaganda was the use of symbols that presented pictures which could educate or shape one’s view of the ‘pseudo-environment’ as sociologists termed the society.

“And ‘[p]ictures have always been the surest way of conveying an idea, and next in order, words that call up pictures in memory. But the idea conveyed is not fully our own until we have identified ourselves with some aspect of the picture.’”

Said Lippman: But the symbol does not signify one thing in particular and “it can be associated with almost anything” so therefore “it can become the common bond of common feelings.”

Our psychological manipulators in the media, mentored by Lippman and Time magazine founder, Henry Luce, have honed to perfection the propaganda that shapes emotions and perception both in the U.S and overseas,

Boris Nemtsov, Outspoken Putin Critic, Shot Dead in Moscow

Moscow (CNN)Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov was shot and killed Friday night in central Moscow, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said in a statement Saturday, prompting immediate speculation from fellow opposition figures that the killing was targeted.

A deputy prime minister in the late 1990s under President Boris Yeltsin, Nemtsov had been one of current President Vladimir Putin's most vocal critics.

Putin quickly condemned the killing of Nemtsov and expressed his condolences to his family, the Kremlin said. Putin also ordered three law enforcement agencies to put together a task force to investigate the shooting, Russian news agency Itar-Tass reported.

A criminal case has been opened for murder and weapons trafficking, the investigative committee said.

Nemtsov was a top official with the Republican Party of Russia/Party of People's Freedom, a liberal opposition group. He had most recently been critical of the Kremlin's handling of the Ukraine crisis.

Opposition leader Ilya Yashin said his friend had been working on a report about Russian troops and their involvement in Ukraine.

Fired on from a car

Nemtsov's death comes two days before a large opposition rally was set to take place in Moscow. Nemtsov had earlier Friday done a radio interview putting out the call to people to turn out for the rally Sunday.

After his death, party leaders decided to hold a mourning march in downtown Moscow, Itar-Tass reported.

Nemtsov was walking with a female friend just before midnight across a bridge that can be seen from the Kremlin, when a car pulled up and someone opened fire.

The area in the center city is normally busy on a Friday night, though the weather was cold and wet.

Investigators were talking with his companion, a friend from Ukraine who wasn't wounded, early Saturday. A CNN crew also observed white cars being pulled over by authorities near the scene of the shooting.

Putin said he suspected it was a contract hit meant to cause political discord, according to the President's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov.

A man like Nemtsov had many enemies, experts said.

Russia is corrupt, he said

Nemtsov, 55, had been arrested several times in the past for speaking against Putin's government.

The most recent arrests were in 2011 when he protested the results of parliamentary elections and in 2012 when tens of thousands protested against Putin.

In a restaurant interview with CNN's Anthony Bourdain last year he lamented the situation for business owners.

"This is a country of corruption. And if you have business, you are in a very unsafe situation. Everybody can press you and destroy your business. That's it," Nemtsov said.

In the same interview, he did offer a bit of optimism.

"This is my country. The Russian people are in bit of trouble. Russian court doesn't work. Russian education decline every year. I believe that Russia has a chance to be free. Has a chance. It's difficult, but we must do it," he said.

Nemtsov was also a vocal critic of the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi. He published a report in 2013 describing the Sochi games as one of the most "outrageous swindles" in recent Russian history. He claimed that up to 60% of the final cost -- or $30 billion -- had been embezzled.

World chess champion-turned opposition activist Garry Kasparov tweeted extensively about Nemtsov's death.

"When we argued, Boris would tell me I was too hasty, that in Russia you had to live a long time to see change. Now he'll never see it. RIP," he wrote in one.

Who Would Kill Nemtsov?

Nemtsov's lawyer Vadim Prokhorov told Russian media that Nemtsov's life had been threatened on social media in recent weeks.

But he didn't walk around with bodyguards, noted Julia Ioffe, a contributing writer to The New York Times Magazine who has covered Russian politics extensively.

"It was a very overt message of bravery," Ioffe told CNN's "AC360." "What we've seen in return is a very overt message of fear. People in the opposition will not believe anything that comes out of the Kremlin in terms of who did this. They perceive this as a message directly sent to them. When you see Boris Nemtsov's body lying with the Kremlin as a backdrop, they understand that's a message directed to them."

Critics like Yashin and Kasparov pointed fingers in the direction of Putin or a supporter of the Russian President.

"It's clearly a political murder. It's definitely a contract one," Yashin said. "I don't know who killed Boris, but I know that it's the government and personally Putin who are responsible for it. They've been constantly promoting a hatred towards everyone who doesn't support their course and thinks different."

It's something even Nemtsov himself had said he had thought about, acknowledging in an interview with Russian newspaper Sobesednik this month that he was "a little bit" afraid his mother's fears Putin would have him killed would come true.

But, he added, "I'm not afraid of him that much. If I was afraid I wouldn't be heading an opposition party and do what I'm doing."

Kasparov said the Russian President is to blame even if not directly involved.

"If Putin gave order to murder Boris Nemtsov is not the point. It is Putin's dictatorship. His 24/7 propaganda about enemies of the state," Kasparov tweeted.

"In Putin's atmosphere of hatred & violence, abroad & in Russia, bloodshed is the prerequisite to show loyalty, that you are on the team," he added.

Ioffe, 32, born Russian Jewish.  She moved to the US 25 years ago to a suburb of DC.  Now she is working with the President to shore up support for attacks on ISIS?  Lol - the CIA is almost too obvious these days.  And yes - I do have a suspicion of foreigners and dualies taking up lead positions of power in the US.  Of course we were a country founded on diversity and new generations coming to our shores to contribute.  However, have you noticed the direction this contribution has gone lately?

Zero Hedge claims to decry statism, and yet it embraces Russia's Putin unreservedly.  How exactly does that work?

It is Putin, after all, who is an ardent believer in price controls (witness the recent ceiling on vodka prices), Putin who decides which businesses will be owned outright or controlled by the state (e.g., Rosneft and Gazprom in energy, Sberbank in banking, and Channel One Russia and RT in "news").

Why exactly does Vlad get a pass?

Because he loathes America, just like Zero Hedge and many of its readers.

America was founded on great noble principles and its people are for the most part well meaning.

However the whole conscious planet hates what special interests and oligarchs have done to America via control over its government. The USSA is now THE rogue imperialistic terrorist state. That may be unfortunate for Americans (who are also victims here, albeit many are brainwashed slaves of the system) but it is reality.

The conscious free world hates what America HAS BECOME, not what it once was. It is not personal against the regular americans or a hatred of the principles of the founding fathers of the USA

Let's go through these one by one.

a) Russia's natural resource wealth is the birthright of the Russian people. Russia's oil profits, believe it if you can, go to the Russian people through lower taxes, not right into the pockets of foreign thieves.

b) Yes, the Russian state controls Russia's banks. Far, far better than than the American system where the banks control the state.

c) There's plenty of private media in Russia. Unlike our MSM, which recycles White House press releases and CIA disinformation, Russian news media report actual news and do actual investigative reporting. It's the freest and most reliable in the civilized world.

I don't loathe America. I wish America were blessed with a leader as competent, far-sighted and devoted to his people as Vladimir Putin is to his, and not a bankster's houseboy like the Current Occupant.

Bad is bad.  True enough.

Good is good.  True enough.

Putin and Obama are both politicians and predators; they are both bad.  True enough.

However, when one predator is vastly more destructive and vastly more dangerous, and some other much less powerful predator holds them back, one can't help but grudgingly hope that less destructive predator thwarts the plans of the much worse, much more dangerous and destructive predator.

This does NOT mean we approve of statism.

This does NOT mean we imagine Putin is an angel.

This DOES mean we are glad SOMEONE is somewhat effective at making the most dangerous and destructive predators in the history of mankind look stupid, and fail in some of their plans.

Of course the best case in any battle between predators is for the predators to totally destroy each other with minimal collateral damage.  Not likely, but possible.

So all you who imagine we are Putin apologists... we ARE NOT.  We do, however, recognize that Putin and RT are usually more accurate in his characterization of events than the predators who call themselves the government of the USSA and mainstream media.  And we do recognize much of what Putin does has benefits for honest, ethical, productive, benevolent human beings, even IF his motives are only partially benevolent (and partially self-serving).

We ALSO recognize that Russia would not be forced to invest piles of money in their military if not for the USSA and NATO breathing down their necks, right along their border.  In contrast what the USSR did in Cuba decades ago was super-super-mild in comparison.

What we are is OBJECTIVE as we can possibly be, given the information we have available or can reasonably infer.  What we know FOR CERTAIN is, the predators-DBA-USSA have been sticking their noses in endless places they do not belong, acting like dictators of the universe, caused the disaster in Ukraine and endless places in the middle east, and is utterly destroying anyone in the USSA who is honest, ethical, productive, benevolent or just wants to enjoy a bit of the liberty they are entitled to.  So we absolutely know who are the bad guys in almost every nasty situation in modern times, and that is the predators who call themselves the federal government of the USSA.

Yes, we'd love for ALL human predators-DBA-government to vanish, including Putin, including Obama, including every single individual who works for any of those fictions called "government".

Putin seems to be a true patriotic and capable Russian leader who has been forced to take serious defensive measures to protect the sovereignty and interests of his country. And in doing so, he happens to be helping the ordinary Americans against their reckless and ruthless owners in Washington, NY, London, and perhaps Tel Aviv.

When I was young, I was given a children's book that was essentially anti-communist in spirit (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/304847.People)  I remember the book showed communist China juxtaposed to the US - in the scene showing the former there was uniformity, compliance, and a dull grey color pervading the scene.  On the US (or generic non-commie) scene there was diversity and bright colors.  I believed this book and it may have been true at that time.  Now we are in a world where, though the colors may be bright in the US, there is uniformity and compliance like none other.  Putin, as dirty a predator as I'm sure he is, is actually able to give people a sense of diversity and non-compliance.  In fact, I believe that because of the US's particular vector of failure (an empire overshot, control of media, brands, and education, and colonization of every bit of the planet in a "you accept our worldview or you're a drone target" manner), people NEED to like someone like Putin - because there is no manifestation of opposition to the US way of screwing everyone and it is impossible for that opposition to be spawned from within the matrix.  This is not just a case of supporting the underdog, it's a case of supporting the dangerous and unruly pin that will pop the bubble that hides everything good about American inside its latex-matrix of control.  So you're (not you napper, but the "haters") welcome to keep telling us that Putin is sharp, made of metal, and has poked people you know before.  Fascinating, but you haven't disproven that we still need a pin to pop this motherfucker right here.

Some fun questions to ring in the New Year!

Russia’s Vladimir Putin refers to himself as “Russia’s humble public servant.”  This humble public servant’s net worth is:

a)  Negligible – after all, he’s merely a humble public servant;

b)  On a par with that of Russia’s oligarchs, who often are required to get clearance for important transactions from Mr. Putin himself;

c)  Greater than that of most oligarchs, since approval by Mr. Putin for large transactions is a given, and naturally, “palms will need to be greased”; or

d)  Quite modest, Mr. Putin preferring to be paid in bottles of Baltika No. 3.

For those that answered (b) or (c), a follow-up question:

Mr. Putin’s extraordinary wealth is the result of:

a)  Blatant corruption and quid pro quo deal-making;

b)  Skimming from the Russian treasury;

c)  A night job working on the KaMAZ truck assembly line; or

d)  Generous donations via Western Union from loyal Zero Hedgers.

EXACTLY Volkadov!!

+100

Look I'm actually a Semite, not an Ashkanzi like YELLEN and Nudleman. and I've studied the Talmud religiously. So, I'll speak out against its evils.

I'll gladly admit that MOST real Semites are actually "Arabic" - but guess how they are treated?  Well, you don't get an ADL folks defending them that's for sure.

You see, if you confront defenders of Zionism, Talmudists et al, you'll get attacked (no skin of my nose, I kick a lot of garbage on here), but if you trash Russia, attack musilms - or as the zionists on here call them, muslamics, or Arabs (who are also Semites, but are called goatfuckers), or blacks as welfare queens, or Obama who is a secret muslim (who just happened to drone the fuck out of muslims), then my mission on here has been proved a wonderful success:

I've exposed the Zionist apologists for the hypocrite crypto-fascists that they are. And it feels good, and I'll continue to come after this trash - and they know who they are!

If you know anything about Russia, you would recognize that Putin’s “vertical power” is a myth. The Kremlin is riddled with infighting. The security organs are rife with graft, theft, and gangsterism. The bureaucracy remains an immovable force. Provincial Russia is littered with fiefdoms run by local notables. Just because Putin uses authoritarian measures doesn’t mean he has control nor does it signify their effectiveness. Usually it indicates just the opposite. What exactly is your obsession with the cult of Putin’s personality and image?

This was clearly a professional hit. Looks too sophisticated for the CIA, they have few resources there and they are constantly monitored by the FSB. Could be Mossad, German intelligence, the Circus or a criminal sub-contractors/dissidents/Ukaranian team. Consider also a bankster paid team. Too sophisticated for any ME team other than the Israelis. What was Nemtsov doing alone with a foreign girl walking on a bridge at 11:30 at night? Who is the foreign girl? How did they meet? Who came up with the CCTV recording? Has it been certified as genuine and not modified? How did they know it existed? Did Nemtsov walk there regularly? That would point to planning if he did. Who owns and operates the cleaning truck? Was it a regularly scheduled run that put it there? The traffic could have been good timing or it could have been controlled with a stalled car, but the first car passing after the shooting may have been part of the team because they would have seen the body on the bridge and it seems they did nothing. The getwaway car had a pretty strong exhaust so it wasn't really tuned for speeding away, which might point to a foreign team with limited resources or a criminal team..

The assassination of political figures sure seems like a sensible way to go when compared to nuclear war. Financial terrorism began being used as a weapon once nuclear weapons became popular. Now financial weaponry is reaching its limit due to debt. The assassination by opposing oligarchs of political persons, bankers, and oligarchs naturally follows. As far as I understand there are only about 100 or so individuals with billions. The police should arrest the theives and redistribute their stolen wealth.

Q: Why will there never be a coup d’état in Washington?

A: Because there’s no American embassy there.

As a self-proclaimed so-called black and white conspiracy theorist who doesn't see shades of gray, but knowing if it "makes the news" it's kabuki theatre, then I'll posit it's simply more pretense and run-up for the forthcoming hot war, conventional and as "convenient" as it may well be.

And here's where I will lose you - taking it back Hopi-style and speculating about the evolution of mammals and reptiles since the Yucatan event - is that the proxy fiduciaries for the gator crew, you know, the one-worlders, are ratcheting up the rhetoric in order to make the hot war more palatable.  Really, we're that dumb or so they think.  Just think, what would you do if the life raft was filled with useless eaters and you lacked faith enough to believe that the rain would fall and the protein (fish) would just jump into your raft so as to provide sustenance?  Not saying I wouldn't be a-cleansing, but believing there are "sides" in this B-rated movie is to deny that at some point, the gators (in a "Planet of the Apes" kind of way with crocs being the cannibals), unable to escape the Van Allen Belts of their prison planet, are just pruning the garden.  Think BIS & Hedge accordingly?

who really gives a shit anyway? the girlfriend?? Political opposition making hay?? whodunit authors with a fresh plot?? foreign meddling governments??
Nemetsov was basically a scummy buddy of scummy Kolomoisky and scummy associates...in any case a person fomenting political instability, not a person contributing whatsoever to the betterment or welfare of Russia.
Why not make the same fuss over each and every one of the tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians and soldiers on both sides of the struggle that have been -and are still being-needlessly,criminally, indiscriminately, wantonly killed, maimed, and rendered destitute by the evil US instigated zioNazi coup???

It's a professional hit. Not a very good professional hit, but people who commit murder for a living aren't born geniuses.

Likelihood of suspects:

Putin/Russian Govt: Zero (It does not make any sense in any way, even if you judge Putin to be evil, he would need to reduce his IQ to double digits to find any merits in this act)

Direct CIA or other Western Intelligence: Low (Risk of exposure too high)

Overzealous Russian Nationalists: Medium (Possible)

Deniable operator - CIA/State Dept or Western Intelligence subcontract: High (Standard MO - the nationality of the deniable operators could be any and finding a direct link would be nearly impossible unless you had a whistleblower)

Ukrainian (Kiev regime) direct contract: Very High. Given the nationality of the girl who led Nemtsov to his death trap, the infantile PR value of the location, the open brutality of the execution and the unbelievable compliance of the msm in the skewed insanity of their narratives, it bears all the hallmarks of the lying zionazis of Kiev with the smug blusters of the US State Dept. We've had a year of the same crap from them in the msm.

Other (Business/Personal/Criminal): Low-Medium

We've had over a year of Kiev playing the victim while going on a genocidal rampage against their fellow Ukrainians, the ones they call russian-speaking "beetles". Over a year of continuous rhetoric from Victoria Nuland's favourite psychopath, Arseniy Yatsenyuk vowing to burn the separatists alive on Ukrainian tv. These psychos are not subtle and their favourite card played is the victim card along with spreading division and fear among their citizens. Oddly enough, that is exactly the same trait shown by one other nation closely related to the oligarchs running Kiev: Israel. I want to emphasise that this zionist control of Kiev with their connection to the neo-nazis (Victoria Nuland, Poroshenko, Kolomoisky, & Yatsenyuk) has nothing to do with jewish folks in general. Seriously, if you care to look it up, zionism is often the antithesis of judaism.

"...zionism is often the antithesis of judaism"

I wouldn't put it that strongly. Although there are jews against Zionism, eg:  "True Torah Jews" and: "Jews Against Zionism", it is true to say that a vast majority of Zionists are also jews, mostly of the Ashkenazi variety originating from Khazar and now running the global financial system, US government, Hollywood and MSM.

Unfortunately the Torah Jews are a minority, despised and mistreated by Zionist Jews...

"that a vast majority of Zionists are also jews, mostly of the Ashkenazi variety originating from Khazar"

I know people like to find some meaning in the Khazar thesis.  That's fine.  While the vast number of Jews world-wide are Ashkenazi (i.e. namely the US population is vast vast majority) and those in charge in Israel are Ashkenazi, the majority of the population of Israel is not-Ashkenazi or is becoming mixed majority not pure ashkenazi.

"I know people like to find some meaning in the Khazar thesis."

There is a meaning, I don't think it's a thesis. The reason why Khazar is regularly mentioned is because the Ashkenazi subset of jews originated from there, they have no roots in Palestine (despite their false claim that it's their homeland). They actually originate from Central Europe: Khazar. They are very different people with a different culture to Middle East jews who originate from the Palestine region and are mostly good decent people who used to get along fine with Islamic Arab tribes in their day. But it is the Ashkenazi subset who largely support Zionism and cause much trouble and war in the world, falsely claiming that Palestine is their homeland. It simply isn't true. Netanyahu is just one head of the Ashkenazi snake.

Last time I read about Israel was that substantially more than 50% of them are Zionists. Can't comment what proportion are Ashkenazis because many of them deny it due to the contradiction with their false heritage claim over Palestine. They will only admit to being "jewish".
