No jobs=less consumption. Less consumption=less profits. Less Profits=lower stock prices and less stock buybacks. Less stock buybacks=lower stock market. Eventually they won't be able to lie in order to establish confidence. Credability continues to deteriorate. Raise the interest rates, less borrowing and read from beginning.
The answer: crash or another QE, which equals inflation. so the stock may go up but it is not actually worth as much so it can go up all it wants, doesn't equal value.
So, you still believe that the economy can grow forever and ever in this biosphere with limited resources?

So far about the only thing gaining against inflation that I can see is if you could freezer beef from a year ago or ammo. In the world of aglos, everything changed. Friend of mine that was an options trader committed suicide because after 40 years of trading and making a good living the new normal wiped him out. He bitched about nothing making sense as he always traded fundamentals and it literally killed him. I tried to warn more than one of my trading friends to get out as they cant beat the machines, but they fought this sideways market and got ate. Metals are great insurance, but I fear that if/when we have to use them, there will be fvkall to buy. My bet is a handful of .22 shells will be worth their weight in gold going forward. In a madmax world, medals will be pretty much worthless. So the gamble now is, how bad and far into the basement is this global wreck of an economy going to go.
