Two Men Charged Over Nemtsov's Murder, Opposition Fear Scapegoating

Tyler Durden's picture

Two men from Russia’s southern region of the North Caucasus, have been detained, according to FSB chief Aleksandr Bortnikov, suspected of the murder of Boris Nemtsov. As Reuters reports, The Investigative Committee, the state body leading the investigation, named the two men as Anzor Gubashev and Zaur Dadayev, and said they were "involved in the organization and execution of the killing," of Nemtsov. Opposition politicians fear scapegoating once again as past high-profile killings in Russia have led to people being jailed for pulling the trigger - often hired hitmen from the Caucasus - while investigators have failed to track down those who ordered the assassinations.

As Reuters reports,

Two suspects have been detained over the killing of Boris Nemtsov, Russian officials said, a week after he was shot dead near the Kremlin in the most high-profile killing of an opposition figure in years.

The Investigative Committee, the state body leading the investigation, named the two men as Anzor Gubashev and Zaur Dadayev. Russian President Vladimir Putin had been informed of the detentions, officials said.

"The individuals detained are, according to our investigation, involved in the organization and execution of the killing of Boris Nemtsov," the committee said in a statement.

Russian state-controlled media reported the two were from the Caucasus, a violent and impoverished region on Russia's southern flank. They were expected to be formally arrested at a court hearing in Moscow on Sunday, the reports said.

Associates of the 55-year-old Nemtsov said they would only be satisfied when whoever masterminded the killing was behind bars, not just the people who carried it out.

Past high-profile killings in Russia have led to people being jailed for pulling the trigger -- often hired hitmen from the Caucasus -- while investigators have failed to track down those who ordered the assassinations.

"I want to believe that these ones are really the ones who conducted (the killing) and that once in a while law enforcement worked professionally and detained real assassins, and did not make a mistake," Ilya Yashin, the co-chairman of Nemtsov's party, said of the two suspects.

"The key task for investigators is to find and prosecute the ones who ordered this murder. If everything ends with the detention of scapegoats, irrespective of whether they are the real assassins or not, the practice of political assassinations will continue with no doubt."

...

People from the Caucasus have been named as suspects in other assassinations, including those of Anna Politkovskaya, a journalist critical of the Kremlin, in 2006 and of Paul Klebnikov, a U.S. citizen and journalist with the Russian edition of Forbes magazine, in 2004.

Politkovskaya's supporters say the Chechens sentenced for her killing were low-level foot soldiers, and that investigators failed to find out who was behind her murder.

The USSA created opposition fears scapegoating, since Putin by definition is guilty, for creating an atmosphere of intimidation against their political views.  This 'feeling' must be similar to what it feels like to be a Russian in America, and attempt to explain Putins views.

More cultural marxist BS,  empty rhetoric worn thinner by each subsequent, poorly orchestrated false flag. Moreover, the self righteous western style hypocrisy tends over time, to grate more and more up the ear, to the point where it is completely tuned out by anyone with 2 critical brain cells to rub together.

If I were you,  I would worry less about Putin, and worry more about the tens of millions of Ukrainians facing financial disaster and long term economic ruin.  The Ukraine is facing another Holodomor this year,  courtesy of the US state department.

Forget about Putin Instead try to figure out how to rid the Ukraine of its parasitical oligarchs. Remove them, default on your debt and begin over.

But, this will never happen as long as the Ukraine is a USSA puppet.

You are incorrigibly wired for ingroup behavior, like most animals. Not something to be proud of because it's the basis of most of our organized conflicts.

Humans and monkeys share Machiavellian intelligence

There is one situation, however, in which all of the well-established social structure evaporates: when a group of rhesus macaques confronts another one and monkey warfare begins. Rhesus macaques dislike strangers and will viciously attack their own image in a mirror, thinking it's a stranger threatening them. When warfare begins, "Even a low-ranking rhesus loner becomes an instant patriot. Every drop of xenophobia in rhesus blood is transformed into fuel for battle," Maestripieri wrote.

As a staunch liberal and proud American, I strongly believe our government must call this entire thing a sham! America would never ever handle a criminal investigation like this. Just look at how we have swiftly found out the culprits of 9/11 and Boston marathon bombings for example. We know how to do this better than they do. It's time for our CIA and FBI team to take over their case and get to the bottom of this.

Politkovskaya's supporters say the Chechens sentenced for her killing were low-level foot soldiers, and that investigators failed to find out who was behind her murder.

Hate to bring this up, but there is a sizable body of facts pointing to very specific folks who typically finance Chechen rabble rousing.

Recalling the Boston Marathon and the Russian warning that one of the brothers visited a known Chechen Terrorist.

Let's think about that. The Tsarnaev, like all student visa muslims, were being managed by the CIA and FBI. The way I heard it works from a student visa Musim, is that the FBA contacts them and schedules an interview. At the interview the FBI threatens to pull their visas if they don't play ball and start spying on prospects in the hood and give `em names to be added to the master "working list" of perp patsey fall guys. A Muslim with a student visa would not be expected to be allowed a field day trip to "Terror Towns" in the "break aways". The trip and visit with a known self claiming Muslim Boogie Man who has to be a long term CIA contractor, by their US gestapho handlers was allowed only because the FBI and CIA ordered the trip and the visit for the speciific purpose of salting the field, and provoke the Russias to message the very same warning that has been used since to shop the idea that the Tsarnaev brother sought advice on how to thwart Kraft International's gestapos appearance as the actual perps and, instead, pin it on another hapless foreign student, under wing and threat of the FBI. The bean cooker with killer-myte exposives in it gambit was a joke - and yet, our  fascioligarchial politocos and our employees working for them, instead of us, forgot one detail. They did not match the backpacks. The brothers were wearing grey and a white packs (here). And here's the one CBS Boston reported was the boom boom decice pack. The boom boom pack matches best with the Kraft Internernation Merc pack.

This is America gosh darnit - and all of us are on the watch list. Every fucking last one of us. The FBI not only engages in desruction of evidence it creates false evidence soze the boys in the Street's counting rooms can hoard away bunches of counterfitted USDs for a rainy day - or, maybe, when the regional toilet paper factory is shutdown and Chinese sanctons against the US prohibit exporting shit loads of shit paper to the US of A.

Word to your mother, don't ever engage Tsarnevs lawyer as counsel.

From sublime to rediculous in 3 paragraps.

Actually a more appropriate song would "Run Like Hell" by Pink Floyd.

Run, run, run, run [repeat line four times]
You better make your face up in
Your favourite disguise
With your button down lips and your
Roller blind eyes
With your empty smile
And your hungry heart
Feel the bile rising from your guilty past
With your nerves in tatters
As the cockleshell shatters
And the hammers batter
Down your door
You better run

Run, run, run, run [repeat line four times]
You better run all day
And run all night
And keep your dirty feelings
Deep inside. And if your
Takin' your girlfriend
Out tonight
You better park the car
Well out of sight
'Cos if they catch you in the back seat
Trying to pick her locks
They're gonna send you back to mother
In a cardboard box
You better run

The most benefit of this murder would go to Kiev and Washington. Since Nemsov was a washed up nobody with a 1% approval rating and whose party had zero seats in Parliament, it seems that Russian State Organs had nothing to gain. Logic dictates you consider the most likely killers first, and the least likely killers last.

Those who order hits, usually make a strong firewall between themselves and the chumps hired to kill for money. In Russia this is particularly true.

Since hired killers is a large export business in the Caucuses, it seems also logical the hit men would come from there. These people could have been hired from behind a strong firewall by just about anyone. That leave us with the logic of who gained the absolute most from this killing. If you turn on western media, and listen to the giddy glee of western leaders and Kiev politicians, I am more inclined to look in that direct. I think they reveal their hand by their absolute joy in writing stores and throwing blame after this killing. Western media had a collective orgazim when this story hit he wires. I am sure the leaders of Russia were in a hurry to kill a nobody and give the West just what they wanted to gain a masive propaganda windfall!  That notion is a hard sell to anyone with rational thougt not tainted by the poison of a Western Public Education and a steady feed of Western Liar Media.

Opposition to Russian government has some soul searching to do.

Considering ...

"In February 2014, ultra-nationalists including NATO security services, Polish special forces, Israeli commandos and extremist elements within Ukraine moved against the elected pro-Russian government.

Enough documents have been released — citing coup-backed snipers killing dozens of protesters, US embassy officials planning false flag attacks, extremists downing a passenger airliner and NATO peddling falsified intelligence — to make it very clear that the “coup” is more of an invasion than anything else."

Do you really believe, that the agency behind the murder will be that stupid to have a direct link to them or only one middleman was involved? The one who hired them probably didn't even know who it was who hired him.

Very ironic that you say that, as in the USA, the public is always told that it was a Lone Gunman.  Investigation never moves past the lowest level.  We're supposed to believe that 20,000 officers were mobilized to shut down the entire city of Boston within a couple of hours based on a color-changing backpack carried by two boys?  Three NYC buildings were demolished by two planes on 911 by Saudi nationals for the edification of dancing Israeli cameramen?  None of the narratives hold water. The public is learning.

Iraq Arrests ISIL’s US, Israeli Military Advisors in Mosul

Iraqi Special Forces said they have arrested several ISIL’s foreign military advisors, including American, Israeli and Arab nationals in an operation in Mosul in the Northern parts of the country.

The Iraqi forces said they have retrieved four foreign passports, including those that belonged to American and Israeli nationals and one that belonged to the national of a Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) member-state, from ISIL’s military advisors.

The foreign advisors were arrested in a military operation in Tal Abta desert near Mosul city.

Last year, a senior aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Mossad of training ISIL terrorists operating in Iraq and Syria.

Alexander Prokhanov said that Mossad is also likely to have transferred some of its spying experiences to the ISIL leadership, adding that Israel’s military advisors could be assisting the Takfiri terrorists.

Prokhanov said ISIL is a byproduct of US policies in the Middle East.

Putin Predicted Washington Would Employ Assassination Tactic Against Russia — Paul Craig Roberts

The Saker provides a one minute video with translation of Putin explaining two years ago the Russian government’s concern that an overseas entity would use a false flag assassination within Russia in order to create an “involuntary martyr” that the Western media would use to demonize Russia.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article41124.htm

According to this report by The Saker, http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-boris-nemtsov-assassination-russias-non-system-opposition-refuses-to-blame-the-kremlin/5434206 , the Washington-financed Russian opposition has not, as Washington hoped it would, joined the Western anti-Putin media campaign. Possibly the Washington-financed Russian NGOs have wised up from observing events in Ukraine. In place of “more democracy,” they got a Washington stooge government squandering Ukraine’s last cent on a losing war.

The most likely explanation of Nemtsov’s murder is that the CIA decided, as Nemtsov was completely marginalized as an opposition politician with 5% as against Putin’s 85%, that Nemtsov was worth more dead than alive. But the ploy, if that is what it is, has not worked inside Russia.

Part of the circumstantial evidence that Nemtsov’s murder was a CIA tactic to destabilize Russia is the orchestrated US media. The New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, NPR, and the rest of the presstitutes were ready on cue with reports insinuating that Putin was responsible. Stephen Lendman has done a good job tracking the US media’s unquestioning adherence to Washington’s propaganda line. http://sjlendman.blogspot.com

Of course the opposition fears scapegoating. They pray day and night for Putin to be guilty, so they will call any other suspect "a scapegoat".

And these are not Putin's "opposition". The Russian liberals rank about 8%, tops, in the polls. Nemtsov ranked 1%.

The only opposition Putin has ever had is the 17% Russian Communist party.

Chechens appear to be the go to guys for false flag ops .. the Tsarnaev  brother is currently on trial for Boston bombing .. but that has been shoved to the back of the news brner.  He admitted his guilt . totally .. so why a trial In ny event ... the Western nits are so arrogant they will espouse any ridiculous plan as long as the MEME is out there that Putin is repsonsible.. whether it is true or not does not matter . .as long as the unthinking public has that meme in its thick skull ... destablizing Russia has been going on for some time       a decade at least .. .. its what the West does . destablize any nation that is not a pupper regime or some debt slave shest hole to the IMF ..This other take on the matter of this Nemitsov's murder... http://www.enews163.com/2015/03/03/nemtsov-were-killed-or-murdered-chech... Radio Free Europe in Asia Times does not dismiss the CHechen connection ... http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Central_Asia/CEN-01-040315.html   But the possibility of a Chechen connection should not be dismissed out of hand, given Nemtsov's repeated criticism of Chechen Republic head Ramzan Kadyrov, and the fact that since 2011, security personnel loyal to Kadyrov have reportedly engaged with total impunity in abductions and killings in Moscow.

OR maybe the West is figureing out another false flag not working out so lets haul in the go to suspects .. it's a puzzlement.   Another theory .. a warning to Putin ..it boggles the mind to think PUTIN would be dumb enough to knock off a guy with 5 percent approval rating in front of the Kremlin that smacks of dumb ass .. and Putin is a lot of things but dumb is not one of them.

If they did their operation right (whoever did it, CIA, FSB or nationalists) it will never be traced back to them and the contract killers never had contact with the buyers...

Hell that's how politician contract killing work in Pakistan where it happens all the time...

For all of you Putin lovers here I have a few quotes from the Anti-Christ himself about Pooty Poot and Russia.

"Russia may become more of a menace as a result of declining oil prices. Under Putin nationalism has replaced communism as the country's leading ideology. Those in the Kremlin are now using control over natural resources to re-establish Russia's position as a political power, gain control over former soviet republics by enriching their rulers by constituting a sham democracy built on petrol patronage."

"As economic conditions worsen the Putin regime is likely to rely more actively on state powers. The Kremlin is occupied by buccaneers who are willing to take risk to get where they are. This may translate into repression at home and military action abroad. ALREADY TWO PROMINENT POLITICAL OPPONENTS WERE RECENTLY ASSASSINATED."

"Against all advice saakashvili's response to russian provocation in South Ossetia. Russia crushed him with over whelming force.exactly how the events unfolded IS STILL SHROUDED IN MYSTERY."

"The Russians had some excuse for taking action, although the Russian citizens they claim to be protecting were really south Ossetians who were recently given russian citizenship."

"Russia's geopolitical energy influence made Putin very popular with the public , AS DID BAITING THE WEST."

Do I need to say anymore? I will if you want but you will only be digging a bigger hole in which to suck Putin's/ Russia's dick.

And the ant-Christ was non other than George Soros in a book with the chapter titled "Europe's Russia Problem"

Ha! Down arrows with no retort. Come on you Putin cocksuckers. Prove me wrong that your idol is a brutal thug commie KGB tyrant. Even funnier was some of the quotes from Soros' book could've easily been substituted for Ophag and his actions.

Admit it. This is what the russian/ Soviet Union/ russian czars/ or what ever they want to be called, they are what they are. They are a people of conquers and masters of deception.

They aren't good at chess for nothing.
