I like this statement: " ... the consumer, the main driver of the economy ..."

B.S. The government is now the main driver of the economy.

Don't you mean:

Yellen's printer is now the main driver of the economy?

Never underestimate the American consumer.  If she and he can take on more debt, they will do it.

And, if they can't, the banking puppets in DC will pull up the slack.

Who wins ?

The Cbs and Oligarchs or the doomers and gloomers ?

The death cross is now a journey that is like a river of no return.

Either the Oligarchy has invented a new form of economics adapted to its power hold and Krugmanomics goes to the Moon.

Or else what goes up has to come down and gold will sink the fiat Titanic.

As Mr Macron of France the new "wizard" of french economic liberation says in his Wall Street Journal interview about his past as top banker with the Rothschilds : Being an investment banker is like being a prostitute, we have to learn to seduce to sell our deals of asset buyback/M&A to those who don't know what to do with their money.

Now that is what I call hearing it from the horse's mouth. A prostitute knows when to open its legs and when to cross its knees. But she has no idea about right from wrong.

Its all a question of bank account and profitablility and not about ethics and truth.

Basic instinct is a deadly game when its SHaron Stone on a lust rampage as Praying mantis. Putin and consorts play that game on the bridges of the Moskva river.

But a banker's tart is not in that game she is just a money machine waiting to meet her Jack the Ripper on a lonely night in the seedy streets of Whitechapel of London City that never closes its doors of hanky panky Oligarchy boogie nights, now causing distress for Cameronian consorts re-election.

The sound of the golden dawn's trumpets, Nemesis of populist wrath like Hitler's bastard child, in a Europe gone racially polarized on an overdose of Allah phobia, which could turn to moslem Kristalnacht as knee jerk against Jihadism, could be the fall out from a Euro collapse.

I hope Mr Macron understands that as the fight for the Euro goes white hot under Greece's fleece rampage and Ukraine's plains of brotherly disdain turning ominously hot to the approaching sounds of cold war jack boots.

Can a banker's tart play at Mary Poppins and save the world on her broomstick?

Krugmanomics or the Deluge!

"Despite much hope that the current breakout of the markets is the beginning of a new secular 'bull' market - the economic and fundamental variables suggest otherwise."

That is such a dumbass statement. We are ALREADY 6 years into a secular bull market. This is just like how everyone thought we would have hyperinflation after 2008 and seemingly missed the 40 year inflationary bubble that started since the 1970s.

Financialisation shall replace consumerism or other traditional economic supports.
It will work until it does not.
