Gallup adds: 

While dissatisfaction with government is by no means a new issue to the American people, it has not in recent months been as clearly the leading problem as it is now, given that fewer Americans mention the economy.

 

Meanwhile, satisfaction with the direction of the U.S. remains relatively upbeat compared with figures from recent years, but two-thirds of Americans continue to be dissatisfied.

Just wait another year or so when the economy tanks for real, it will shoot up, along with dissatisfaction with government. It's also refreshing to see that since it didn't even get 3%, global warming bullshit didn't even register, despite the endless propaganda people are bombarded with by the Obama regime and the media. Maybe the propaganda isn't as effective as I thought. As much as the cynic in me doesn't want to admit it, this poll ALMOST makes me a little optimistic

I disagree.  To me, there is only ONE main problem with our global society.  That is: what kind of monetary system we have and who controls it.  All other issues (including government) are trickle-down results of the actions of the money masters who control us all.   With their pockets collecting the usurious interest on trillions of dollars, yen, euros, etc... they have complete autonomy over us.  With this power, they buy scum politicians and influence which shapes the course of all world events.

 

THIS is the central issue that we must deal with before all else.

Global warming

The Hobby Lobby decision

Marriage inequality

Discrimination against gays in the military

Discrimination against women at work

Lack of gay rights

Lack of transgender rights

Lack of lesbian rights

Lack of gays and blacks and latinos in the media and entertainment industry

Lack of rights for undocumented workers

Lack of free housing

Lack of free healthcare

People being forced to get a job

Not enough government subsidies for iPhones and iPads

Racism

Dismantling of Affirmative Action

Not enough government in our lives

Not enough welfare

The rise of Domestic Extremists like most ZHers who think they should have "freedumb" in their lives (ha ha)

I can go on and on all day and night but it'll just get me all worked up.

It's called fascism. Not socialism (it's defined on whether the power is private or public/State. Right now the power is in the hands of an oligarch class. A minority of 0,01 % is in control. The "public/State" is just a tool. Fascism is the mergin of private and public power - a totalitarian system in place to serve and protect it's private masters/old money). I think thinking Americans are not asked what they think in thinking polls.

Personally, asking general questions is useless in any polling. What I think about government is vastly different from my neighbor that retired at 55 and is grossing 15k a month gov. pension. Even those " job surveys" at work tho "improve" the work place are a farce. The last one I took had one area you could comment. The question was " tell how you feel this is the best place to work" I proceeded to do the opposite when I quickly ran out of characters and it automatically submitted with no way to return to change your answers.

Why ask how your victim feels when they are being assraped?

I just started drawing my 'pension' at age 56...$954.00/mo.....filled out the forms not 2 months ago, just got the first 2 checks allegedly deposited....figured I better get 'something' before some mudwhistler accountant stole it all....

Evidently I chose the wrong career path and went into American Manufacturing...was in a shitty, dark, unwholesome shop every morning on time at O dark for 30yrs straight...breathing cutting oil and forklift exhaust, not missing a day ever, making shit out of heavy bars of steel...and I have at least 10 yrs to go! 

What a fucking dope I am, on that we can all agree!  Save me Lord Jesus, or any reasonable semblance there of!!  To top it all off, we are now uninsured...not that it matters to me...I havnt seen a doctor or dentist for over 10yrs...just an anonymous American plow mule here rambling....I'd like to kick somebodies head off, I just dont know whos...

There are 3 problems alright. And it's not just "Them" (.gov), as maskone909 states. If you think deeper, and refrain shooting from the hip, you'll find the real culprits:

1. The Banksters: Currency & Banking Ponzi (fiat money + FRB)
2. The Body Politic: Hijacked Governance process (lobbying --> who runs and gets elected --> corruption of Checks & Balances)
3. The People: Too many Voters are dumb, lazy and uniformed, to keep #1 and #2 in line. "We have seen the enemy, and he is us".

ALL else are cascading results of these 3 fundamental problems.

5. too many people dont pay taxes and vote to take more stuff from the actual taxpayers

6. welfare underacheivers are out breeding alphas therefore lowering the bar

7. too many deadbeat parents that dont teach their children right from wrong, discipline, or the value of an education

8. liberal media bombarding the citizens with racial problems that arent that bad and creating more entitlement attitudes

That's the problem right there. It depends on perspective. Readers of this site would typically say the govt is doing WAY too much, in every single category, and failing miserably in every thing they endeavor to. Those on the left would probably say they need to back off on military spending , and ramp up the redistributionist policies to combat income inequality( that the govt and fed created...) with moar welfare and higher taxes, while those on the right would say the gov is doing too much taxing and welfare spending, but not doing enough to fight "terrorism" or "the war on drugs" or keeping gay people from getting married, etc. the key point here is tht most Americans still want a govt that does a lot of things that are not within the proper role of govt.

The govt buys a zillion rounds of ammo for Homeland Security and thousands of machine guns for the post office for a reason.  Namely, it sounds a lot more palatable to the public than "We're buying all these weapons for our ISIS employees so we can tear up Iraq again and murder Assad for our new puppet regime in Syria."

 

No one in the public actually knows where those weapons and ammo go after the purchase.

Every issue on this list ties in with "Government," so I'm not sure what the point of the survey really is.

"Government" is a great rodeo clown for the typical American, so that's what you see on TV news.  If people started digging in on any of the other issues on the list, they'd soon start thinking about who benefits from their declining standard of living and general malaise.  If they can be pointed toward "The Government," their energies will be safely dissipated.  It's a pressure relief valve.  And the next time there's an election, they'll vote for whomever talks tougher about killing foreigners and promises to restore ancient privileges long since divested to the benefit of the elites.

I mean, who the fuck do we Americans think "The Government" is?

It wasn't wasted. Al Gore alone made 5 billion out of it. Hundreds of otherwise unemployable academics got tenure and good jobs out of it. Junkets to climate conferrences from Rio to Copenhagen. If you were part of the scam there was plenty of money to go around.
