iDontcare: 69% Of Polled Americans Are "Not Interested" In The Apple Watch
Despite the endless media onslaught, which courtesy of Apple's hundreds of billions in cash is nothing but the biggest new product paid infomercial-cum-publicity stunt to roll out the latest new "revolutionary" wearable smartwatch, confirmed by the "media mentions" chart below...
Media mentions of Apple have skyrocketed 40% since December, while Samsung has stayed flat http://t.co/J3A0vuJ0oy pic.twitter.com/2a2VQi0JJ2
— Michelle Coffey (@m_cof) March 13, 2015
... a just released Reuters/IPSOS poll shows that the vast majority of Americans are greeting the new Apple watch with nothing but iYawns. The poll reveals that 69% of Americans are they are not interested in buying the gadget, with 47.8% responding "not at all interested."
Ipsos surveyed 1,245 Americans online between March 9 and March 13. The data was weighted to reflect the U.S. population and has a credibility interval of plus or minus 3.2 percentage points. Only 14.8% responded they are "somewhat interested", and a further 9.7% are "very interested."
And most troubling for Apple is that perhaps with the memory of the just as "revolutionary" Google Glass dud, "More than half of respondents, 52 percent, agreed with the statement that smartwatches are a “passing fad.”
Not what Tim Cook wanted to see.
As Reuters notes, "initial demand for the watch is expected to come primarily from existing iPhone users, but its wider success is seen depending on whether developers create enticing apps tailored to the device, so-called killer apps."
Apple is among several large tech companies looking to jumpstart a new market for “wearable” electronic devices. Samsung Electronics, Sony Corp and LG Electronics have all released their own smartwatches, many of them powered by software developed by Internet company Google Inc.
But consumers have yet to cotton to the notion of wearable devices. Google recently halted sales to consumers of Glass, a $1,500 screen attached to glasses which were routinely mocked for their awkward appearance.
Roughly 4.6 million smartwatches were sold globally in 2014, according to research firm Strategy Analytics, a fraction of the more than 1 billion smartphones sold worldwide.
The graphic below shows just how massive the smartwatch field has become, and how initial buzz is so critical to determine any one watch that could become the standout.
This is troubling as more than half of respondents, or 54%, "disagreed" that they are more interestin purchasing an Apple Watch than some other kind of smartwatch:
If even Apple, and its (in)famous marketing savvy and loyal fans, is unable to determine the clear winner, then suddenly the case for the much needed "ecosystem boost" that has proppeled the stock massively over the past 6 months (mostly on the back of Apple's own debt-funded stock repurchases) is looking very shaky.
As Reuters further adds, "some 46 percent of respondents said that the Apple Watch had a “cool factor.” But only 29 percent said they were more interested in purchasing an Apple Watch than another brand of smartwatch."
Analysts expect that Apple will sell between 10 million and 32 million watches in 2015. If the initial disappointing feedback is anything to go by, the final number will be substantially less.
Which means back to the drawing board for the company which deals as much in fads, hype and "aspirational buzz" as in actual products, which will be that much more challenged to provide the next iteration of a "must have" smartphone, not so much due to decline of inherent evolutionary features, but simply due to battery life and chemistry limitations.
Oh well, there is always the Howard...
... pardon, iCar.

MH Bertucci Field Watches, represent.
Affordable, durable, and no spying on you.
You have to be a real gadget freak to get a 'smart' watch. "Now with autoselfie technology that automagically takes a selfie of you every time you glance at your watch!"
Apple can go suck it's own iDick
iSee
31% *do* care? WTF?!?
Bluetooth will only work if iPhone in proximity, so the watch needs the phone close by for full operational capacity. That's a good thing, because, of course, the phone doesn't tell time... lol.
I'll tell you who will like the watches: Dentists. Working with your hands you can glance at your wrist to see who texted or called. Other than that, this thing is late to the party. Friend has the FitBit and that thing rocks!
The iFlop
Friday night humour, interview with an Apple engineer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUY2fOeQMrQ
and here's the same guy talking about the new Macbook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHZ8ek-6ccc
Okay... so the iWatch is a dud (sounds like a peeping tom site).
But, hey... at least Apple TRIES to innovate. What other high-tech company actually invents new devices without copying something the Silicon Valley boys already conceived? Just saying.
Check the videos I just posted. Yes it's humour and sarcasm, but up to a large extend it's true as well. Sure, they had some good ideas, but then they endlessly recycle them again and again, helped by an Apple-friendly media and a huge marketing budget.Iphone3, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 6, 6+, and the hardware and fuctionality itself get's less and less.
Only ONE fucking USB port on the new Macbook!? A current iMac no longer has a DVD drive?! WTF?! Oh wait, I get it, we're supposed to store everything up in the Big Beautiful NSA iCloud, right? And we're supposed to buy extra cables, adaptors and USB hubs!
p.s. It's "Apple Watch" not iWatch. ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yioL7MRQvHM
The Apple watch is a copy of Chinese watches that have been available for some time. Specs are inferior to several brands from Korea and China that are already available.
Some commentators have speculated that Apple has OEM'd an existing Chinese design, i.e., they didn't design it, they are just marketing it with an Apple label.
This is BS. If the "Chinese watches" were truly authentic, their company would be naturally leading themselves into the cutting edge position of technological advancement. So... who are these "chinese companies"? It's probably slick-looking junk WITHOUT the quality that Apple brings to the table. Sorry guys... as much as you hate to admit it... they're a good company.
ijust took a shit.
Meh.
I like watches; specifically, automatics. Even have a beautiful Omega Seamaster from back in the days of milk & honey.
The best value in watches, I believe, are Citizen Eco Drive. Great variety, packed with tech, and inexpensive.
The iWatch? Dunno, if it can read my pulse on a hard run, display it and transmit it to Runkeeper, maybe... I'm certainly not enthused about it.
I've had my Citizen Eco Drive for 8 years, never had one problem.
I think it cost like $200 American at the time.
I wouldn't even piss on an iwatch; especially, because before it dies from the hot nitrogen liquid it would have taken a picture of my circumsized cock and passed on the info to NSA!
That 90 million is a pretty good size market, too, isnt it?
I wouldnt buy apple if it bit me in the ass.....or something like that.
iDon'tGiveaFuk
I'm making over $7k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life. This is what I do... www.globe-report.com

Mmmmm mmmm Mandy!
Congratulations to Vlad the dad,

So much for being dead......
The only way to make it worth anything is to make it of gold, then in 3 months melt gold down to buy another watch, rinse and repete to stardom.
i think that only applies to the gold watch futures
Except that the $10,000 gold edition iwatch (nobody is going to call it an apple watch, so just get over it) will only contain a half ounce of gold. Maybe that's how they plan to corner the world gold market -- buy an ounce at $1200 and mark it up to $24000 by surrounding it with a cheap-ass watch.
They made 18-carat gold that is as hard as steel. That's pretty nice. Steel that is 80% harder, and aluminum that is 60% harder. If nothing else, some nice metallurgy.
It used to be fancy to have a data-bank watch (we're talking pre-1990) that could store 100 phone numbers and the battery would last for years.
In 2015 Apple thinks a watch that costs 10x what that old one did and the battery might last for a day is... advanced.
I think someone doesn't understand what this "watch" thing actually is supposed to be.
It will go down with New Coke in the annals of stupidity.
Why would anyone still want to invest in Crapple at these prices ?
iFlop.
stocks are gambling not investment
I never forget a colleague "just had" to buy an IPad a few years back, whilst I was quite content with a Nexus 7 (unwanted gift - $150 from EBay).
Within ONE week his power switch no longer functioned, so up to the Apple Shop in Sydney (he lives in Wollongong, 2 hours south of "The Big City") for a replacement. What he got was a "Works Remanufactured" replacement - full warranty, but a "Seconds, remanufactured" product nevertheless, for the "New Product" price . . . . .
FOUR hours round trip, for a "reconditioned" Apple product, for FULL list price - "Take it or leave it" attitude (pretty common in Sydney I seem to remember).
Thanks, but I'll stick with my "inferior" and fully operational Nexus 7 :-)
thanks for the Nexus infomercial </sarc off
Any person honestly comparing the available watches spec could see the clear winner in this I race.
Hint: its not Apple.
mean while, I'll stick with my whatsaselfie ignorance of useless I shit that destroys human life and productivity
My G Shock is solar powered and I never have to change batteries. Automatically adjusts the time to the atomic clock every 24 hours and is accurate to within a second. Good to 200 meters underwater. Alarm, stopwatch, timer, and all global time zones, etc. No problem shooting heavy rifles and big bore handguns while wearing it. Cost just under a hundred bucks. And it freakin' doesn't spy on me.
iWatch ?
iThinkURbrainlessIfUwearOne
Oh No the iwatch is not waterproof or shockproof or Idiot proof
It a WINNNNNER because of the last feature
Maybe the reason for the low numbers has something to do with the watch only working with people who have iPhones? Wouldnt a better "poll" be one that asks only iPhone users if they are interested? Otherwise, the data is meaningless.
I am not saying I like the Apple watch, but iPhone users are only 42% of the cell phone market, so if 69% of total users not being interested, in theory that means that 31% (ie 221 million), which are all iPhone users, are interested. In that context, it could potentially be a very successful product.
However, any reasonable person would expect a sell off in AAPL after the watch release. This is inevitable considing how fast it has gone up recently.
This product in my mind marks "The Top" of the current mega bubble....
Time well tell...but not on an Apple Watch!!
"Time will tell" Brilliant!!!
Yes, but are the percentage of morons who are interested the same dwindling percentage of Americans who can afford such a ... I hesitate to call it luxury. Ostentatious display of idiocy?
I suppose $350 (starting price, mind you) for the "image" might be important for some. If you MUST have this wearable tech there's plenty out there for pretty budget prices, e.g. (Small sample of the Internet) -
Deal Extreme - http://www.dx.com/s/smart+watch
Bang-Good - http://www.banggood.com/buy/Smart-watch.html
even EBay! - http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.Xsmart+watch.TRS0&_nkw=smart+watch&ghostText=&_sacat=0
Give it a few more years and maybe this tech "might" become mainstream, though for me the utility of a wearable telephone isn't that great (right now).
And it's not even a wearable telephone without the iphone nearby, unlike the Dick Tracy original. It's more like a bluetooth mic/speaker for the wrist.
Lot of other options out there...
"Pebble’s New Watch is Now the Most Funded Kickstarter Campaign of All Time"
Pebble is back with a vengeance. The company has returned to Kickstarter to launch its new smart watch, the Pebble Time, and has become the most funded Kickstarter to date. The company blasted through its original goal raising over $17 million to date, and the campaign still has a little over two weeks to go.

Fuck Apple and all the idiots that pack their stores and buy their sheeeeit...fucking Iwatch.. just give me a Timex with big numbers...lol
I love the part where i can take my vital signs....ouy vey..
This iwatch crap might be the most useless product ever invented. I know that I only require my timepiece to have a battery life of 3 hours. What a joke.
except it wasn't invented --copied is the correct term---
I go out of my way to avoid companies that purposely engineer functional obsolescence into their products.
Peak Apple
It is sick. Millions Americans worry about food, shelter and how to pay gas and electric bill and those SV lunatics are daydreaming about iWatch or next useless iGadget disrupting their naps.
NOBODY CARES!!!
More on those lunatics at:
https://sostratusworks.wordpress.com/2015/01/08/smell-of-silicon-madness/
One of the girls that works for me (has one garnishment) says she can't wait to get one. 15 minutes after paycheck every week she's broke. I told her it was useless and showed her my flip phone. She laughed at it. I have my house paid for, pay cash for my cars and 7 figures in savings and PM's and apparently I'm the dummy.
Yeah- but is she hot, and void of all morals???
You should marry her and see how quickly she converts your assets to her ASSets. She is way smarter than you think junior.
ipredict they will sell a bunch of them. people are stupid.
I have to agree (on both counts). Same story with the iPad. Everyone trashed it when it was rolled out and said it had no obvious purpose. Then look what happened.
At the time, the ipad was a revolutionary device. I bought one the day it came out and still use it every day.
On the other hand, I have zero interest in the apple watch, mainly because it's ugly, doesn't do anything useful, its overpriced, and who wants a tumor generator strapped to their wrist all day anyway? It isn't even waterproof.
I'll take a good perpetual mechanical watch like a used 60's stainless submariner over the ifail any day.
I believe there are a lot of people in this same camp.
"iPod/iPhone/iPads are a fad and will be gone in months!" -Bill Gates at various times-meanwhile the equivalent Windows devices are dead or are complete flops
How many of those that are interested will buy the turd?
LOLOL................
only the "well to do " asians
I saw a ZH article a few days back on wage deflation in China?
Those interested are Apple consuming zombies.
says yogibear as she winds her ladies Rolex.....lol!
iEdsel
iEdsel...iZune.....iWindowsphone....iSurface hahaha!
Mentioned here many times I love Apple products and have been using them for over 20+ years. You name it, I have it. And my Iphone is perfect for all that I want to do. So I am a true Apple guy.....But, I have 0 interest in the Apple watch. I think it will be a giant failure on Apples part. Why most of us baby boomers do not even wear a watch. We have our smart phone to alert us and tell us the time. And the young ones in their 20s, never even owned a watch worth more than $40.00 along with never having a land line. It is all changing for corporations.
And soon you will not even need a stupid cable box to watch idiot TV. That will be streamed too.
So, Apple, you blew it. Forget this silly watch. Who the hell wants to talk to their wrist while someone is watching. I am no Dick Tracy.
Good weekend all. The insanity of these markets is slowly ending. Reality once more.....soon.
I have an iPhone 6+ (first time iPhone buyer). I was using a $20 flip phone until a few months ago.
Now, my 5 year old steals my phone every chance he can, so he can play Angry Birds Epic (among others).
Still, I've got my $30 Timex watch on my wrist, and its never failed me.
As stated earlier, I'd like to buy a $10K Au Apple Watch, but it would only be as a fashion statement.
I've got 0 interest in letting the world know what my heart rate is at any given moment in time.
You and the public at large may have no interest, but your health insurance company will when they are weeding out bad risks.
Winner, winner. Chicken dinner. iCan't upvote you. Thanks Apple for my now obsolete Safari browser.
You can upvote him -- just click to the right of his name, hit tab twice (or three times for down vote) and then ENTER.
Watch your data with your 5 year old, my nephew loves those games but I got a notice that we were at 75% of our data usage for the month and still have several weeks to go...
And heres me thinking only schoolgirls bought crapple and you prove me wrong
I have way better things to do with $350
Well as a developer I will of course buy one.
I thought housing was in the toilet this year?
Only 69%?
Were more fucked than I thought.
I've always wanted a Gold watch!
This is exactly the excuse I've been waiting for.
Now, if only one of you RICH investors (aka The FED)
could "loan" me the money to buy one...it sure would make the numbers look great for next quarter!
Whether the Apple Watch is useful or not, it is just a toy. The foundation of the economy is toys.
Seriously, what is that watch that Denzel Washington uses in The Equalizer (great movie on par with John Wick)?
That's the watch that I really want!
Suunto Ambit3 - around $600 USD. Made in Finland waterproof 100m, GPS enabled, will survive a 1 megaton blast at 1000m. Can do all the important iWatch things and crushes apps for breakfast and its battery life 50hrs.
It makes the iwatch very "Gay" - not that there is anything wrong with that
(yes I am a watch nut and an ex surveyor)
Good to know after a nuclear exchange that some random mutant can dust off my ashes and have a shiny new, freshly-glowing, timepiece.
I bet it comes with a warranty on that too, right? Make sure you get it on paper! Just in case...
Hey thanks! I might just buy me one!
I'm a Land Surveyor by trade as well (RPLS), but that's not what I do for a living anymore...
I figure if 3 out of the 4 Presidents on Mt. Rushmore were surveyors at one time,
why not one more?
Please explain "important iwatch things". Suddenly i feel so naked
For the same money, I would much rather buy a handgun. I like dependable things that last for decades; not plastic shit that is useless in a year.
Bring back the Psion 5mx. Or the Tandy PC-6. Or how about the TI-59 w/magnetic strip reader?
I would actually pay big $$$ to have a DESKTOP SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR with Sin/Cos/Tan
Now, that would be useful!
I have no interest in the Apple watch.
I'm holding out for the i-condom, due out next year. Comes in your choice of 37 exciting colors and patterns.
Priced at from $100. for the base model up to $1500. for the 'uber-designer' style.
Elegant and re-usable.
1) Half the population doesn't even wear a watch
2) Most of the population can't afford a 1000$+ watch
3) No one is going to pay 900+ for a watch that does nothing unless its hooked up to a phone, and then the watch dies in 3 hours of "use". . .
What kind of watch can only tell time for three hours a day ? 0_0 . . .
"What kind of watch can only tell time for three hours a day ?"
A watch designed for morons.
ever hear of the coveted ROLEX?
Burt from the 70's says "hi".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bi1PSYt2DSI
No one actually buys these luxury brands (say for a few billionairs that fill a mansion with Rolex watches "for collecting"), people buy a 100~300$ knock - off that is just as good as the real thing.
You can get any Rolex/Omega/Tag/ etc . . . watch almost 1:1 cloned for 90~400$ . . . and with a little needle and clear epoxy resin its just as good as the real thing for diving/swimming ^^ . . .
99% of the time people will assume your "expensive" watch is fake before they assume that its real . . . so why bother?
Its funny when you see people wearing Bently Edition Breitlings . . . when they fucking drive a 9 year old Honda haha . . . Yea buddy . . . im sure that Bently Watch is legit . . . please. . .
Luxury goods are dropping in price as of late . . . watches that used to go for like 6.5k are now going for3.8K ~ 4.2k and only 900$~1.5K in "used" condition. . .
The consumer will always seek the same "value" at a lower price. . . no matter how much $$$ corporations spend to put up trade barriers on "counterfeit goods" to cut out the competition.
Branding is going to disapear one day, you will only have "designs" and all "designs" will be for public use eventually anyway . . . patenting "ideas and forms" will never last . . . not in a world where anyone can make anything because the equipment to do so is worthless after years of de-industrialization . . . you can pick up a Table Top CNC mill for under 2k and print anything you want out of any material you want. . . patents be damned . . .
We are slowly entering an era of "open source", free information for all is unavoidable as the costs to transfer information instantly continue to decrease.
I can design something, scan something, measure something, then send all the dimensions to the other side of the planet in less than an hour at zero cost. . . how can branding and patents possibly survive?
If Apple were smart, they would have engineered the watch with a low voltage sensor that would turn off all non essential functions so as to allow only the clock to be displayed until it's recharged.
...patent pending
I've never owned a watch (or cell-phone, small computer, stereo, etc). Never will. My self-built linux computers tell time just fine, play music just fine, play hi-rez video just fine, function as text/voice/video phones just fine.
I've never owned a small/laptop/portable/notebook computer either.
Amazing how few products really matter to me. Never owned any apple product for that matter, not that I have anything against Apple. I just don't need mostly useless junk. And yet, somehow I think of myself as a materialist... more-or-less. Strange.
Check out the U8 watch. It's got most of what you want for under $40. Be sure you're getting the gen II. It lacks visible speakers holes atop the bezel and comes in black; white and red only, not blue as well.
The next triilion dollar stock put.
'Putin is dead'...lol and THIS is STILL NEWS?!?!?!? how many more days will you milk this Tyler?
ASK how many plan to buy a Mercedes in the next year.....or a ROLEX....lol
Some things to note:
Ukranian media broke the story [so it's shit]
There are twitter pictures of "9 lorries coming out of the Kremlin" [note: it's not the Kremlin road, it's the parallel road]
There are also counter tweets about an ice-rink being demolished [picture is sourced from 2009 for reference, so that's bullshit at level 1 - either counter ops or lazy layering of the narrative to suggest the Russian psyops are that lazy]
CH (Swiss) media sources are reporting it's due to his current partner having a baby [positive! told ya so]
Ukranian pictures of wreaths on the Russian embassy [lame]
Russia doesn't work like this usually - esp. in crisis [note: no internal military step up alerts, there's vague memes about those radio sites beginning chatter again, but isn't substantiated by radio ham community, who are anal and you can't buy them off]
Foreign press have been told "not to leave this weekend, announcement to follow" [vague but not threatening; rather like the UK royal baby announcement]
Sources on the ground don't reference any major issues [subjective, but accurate]
No immediate alerts on specific channels [you know, those ones]
...
And 0% dash cam footage so far.
There's a mile of bullshit all over this - one thing we do know is that he's not playing golf. Actually, Obama is playing media: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDocnbkHjhI
Quite funny. I've a feeling I'd enjoy a drink and conversation with the man.
p.s.
If you want to put money on things:
1) Putin ordered the purge of Chechen thugs [100:1]
2) Obama's leeway and Putin gets going [7:3]
3) Aliens landed and they think you're beasts [1:1]
4) Oh man... the bullshit piled up so fast in Vietnam, you needed wings to stay above it. [Some genius totally scrubbed all clips, soundbites and references to this on the web. Well done, you're a fucking tool] [confirmed]
May i be the first to say, welcome young Prince Vladimir, you're empire awaits
Naahh, the baby angle would be just too pat. People are hedging: Stroke / Greece Deal in public. Moscow is getting a bit flightly.
If we were to go back (1000)20 years, it'd be: finding the weasels that did the public assination and stamping on the Knights for going beyond their remit.
Obama is on TeeVee, Merkel is still emeshed in Greek / EU talks, which strongly suggests it's not going to be globally shattering.
[This might be 100% incorrect: I lack the data - I can only see the bullshit]
That POS Watch is a NO GO for me or anybody I hang with. This Hipster crap & technocracy has to be culled & reigned in. It's out of control & Apple's hubris is beyond my wanting or feeling like doing businees w/ them currently. I don;t believe their numbers as they lie as well BUT do believ they have a great following & some great products. They have joined the best & are part of the problem. They don't get my money until this trend stops. There are other alternatives & more than one way to skin a Cat.
Fook Apple for now.
Will the iWatch help me get laid? THAT's what's on America's mind....
You need a ifuck app for iOS6 to get laid.
Only if you're iGay.
Still have my gold Seiko quartz watch from the 90's and my Rolex yacht master oyster perpetual date. I haven't worn a watch in years. I stopped wearing my expensive watch once Obama became President. No joke!
You are a hipster.
But stupid Chinese have already tried to buy all those $12K gold verdion.
Nearly 10% very interested. I don't like Apple but that is a fantastic statistic!
apple is a one sku company - iphone
and iphone share (of the market kind) continues to shrink
What will it be worth when a soul-brother sticks a gun in yer face and sez: "gimmedat"
Something this article missed out on: Apple customers are signing up to be medical research subjects.
Apple's medical research kits that make ios devices with Healthkit into tools for medical diagnostics have been touted for iphone users already. In the information age, Big Data = Big Money. The probability that "badly written software" that monitors you without your consent will appear on the iwatch is very high.
I don't have any problems with health monitoring tools in the users' control, in fact I rather like the idea of using smart phones to have this multi capability to be a contemporary medical tri-corder. But the implications of big medicine, big pharma, big insurance, and big government getting their dirty mitts on my health data without my permission are pretty dire to say the least.
Healthkit is only in the very early stages development, mostly about diet, exercise monitoring and medical id. But with this iwatch heart monitor and in the future blood sampling attachments (There's already a blood glucose monitoring accessory available for the iphone) it will form the basis of a complete monitoring device that will be giving blanket surveillance data for medical mining software to create predictive medical diagnostics (That is, if the iwatch battery lasts longer than 3hrs a day). None of it will be in your control. One day your watch will be telling the medical companies to force you to take anti-depressants, anti-psychotics, and whatever else they think you need based on the data being sent to them by your icrap devices, and have your insurance premiums triple because you decided to indulge in a little too much wine or have a doughnut with your coffee.
ishit on Apple. If the efforts in this field were made by anyone else but bloody Braeburn Capital, I might think it was a good thing. But knowing Apple's track record on placing profits before ethical principles, I can think of no other company I distrust more than Apple to conduct this research.
so 31 percent want this thing. Thats a huge number. aapl to 1000.
I went out to biy an apple yesterday.
Showed it my friends, and boy were they impressed..
Said it was a granny smith
I would never ever put that thing on my wrist. Its ugly as the day is long. And what about value? Love to see the melt value on that 18K version, because the damn thing won't work in a couple of years that's for sure.
I don't see many smart watches period, only in the retail stores on the shelves. A Rolex, Patek, Audemars, etc. are all easy to pawn for cash anywhere in the world in a heartbeat. Iwatch? Forget it you are looking at melt point with a discount.
As for the "cheap" version, I'd rather wear a casio.
The watch doesn't work without the phone. If you have the phone, you don't NEED the watch.
Apple is tone deaf in trying to market this UGLY item as a fashion must have. Who cares that Angela Ahrendts is onboard, the Christy Turlington thing was a major joke too. Good luck in the fashion world, Apple.
This is the first truly ugly and even more useless device they have introduced.
Does it come with a magnifying lens and a needle for a stylus? Did you ever notice that only us old people wear wristwatches anymore and don't have smart phones yet kids still ask us fogeys what time it is? Time to put a boot in your ass? WTF? I notice shit like that. Here is a sentence they can download; the Big Hand tells the hour and the Little Hand tells the minutes and if you are lucky you might have a very thin Second Hand so as to determine how long you can hold your breath before I tell you again how to learn to read a fucking clock.
Here here! :). That made my weekend.
I try YHC. I try.
Not everyone who has an iPad has a iPhone or for that matter a MacBook. Or MacAir.
But before you deride the strategy of Apple, you should hold for a while.
I still remember people saying, who would want to tap on an iPad screen.
But today, more and more are discovering the use of their wonderful devices.
Every time someone wants to buy a watch, he will be thinking about Apple. That's for sure.
The survey only reflects the tone of public opinion which is against the Giant Apple. Just as it was for Microsoft some time back.
But the money is on Apple. Their platform has not reached the peak as Microsoft OS. But is still growing. The possibilities are endless.
Especially in healthcare services monitoring

Wait until Ke$ha starts wearing one.
THAT morsel of trash is such a turd....
Well, I knew this watch would flop before it even came out. The only thing that surprises me is how many people seem surprised.
