De-Dollarization Accelerates As More Of Washington's "Allies" Defect To China-Led Bank

Tyler Durden's picture

The global de-dollarization trend continues as it appears the UK’s move to join the China-led Asian Infrastructure Development Bank has indeed shown other US “allies” that spurning Washington’s advice is actually acceptable and concerns about the institution’s “standards” may simply be a diversion aimed at undermining China’s attempt to exercise more influence in its own backyard. Here’s more from the NY Times

Ignoring direct pleas from the Obama administration, Europe’s biggest economies have declared their desire to become founding members of a new Chinese-led Asian investment bank that the United States views as a rival to the World Bank and other institutions set up at the height of American power after World War II.

The announcement on Tuesday by Germany, France and Italy that they would follow Britain and join the Chinese-led venture delivered a stinging rebuke to Washington from some of its closest allies. It also called into question whether the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, which grew out of a multination conference in Bretton Woods, N.H., in 1944 and established an economic pecking order that lasted 70 years, will find their influence diminished.

The announcement by Germany, Europe’s largest economy, came only six days after Secretary of State John Kerry asked his German counterpart, Frank Walter-Steinmeier, to resist the Chinese overtures until the Chinese agreed to a number of conditions about transparency and governing of the new entity. But Germany came to the same conclusion that Britain did: China is such a large export and investment market for it that it cannot afford to stay on the sidelines.

South Korea, another US ally that the Obama administration has not-so-subtly lobbied to stay out of the AIIB for the time being, is reportedly reconsidering a bid to join and although reports that Seoul had already committed to the venture appear to have been a bit premature, the country will make a decision this month and is expected to discuss specifics this weekend at a meeting with Chinese and Japanese officials. Here’s FT

The foreign ministers of China, Japan and South Korea will meet in Seoul this weekend for the first time in three years, in an effort to calm tensions in the region.

The trio have strong economic ties but frosty relations. International angst about this state of affairs among the regional superpowers has been further piqued by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, a Chinese-led initiative sparking alarm in Washington and proving divisive elsewhere.

Meanwhile, even Europe’s own “magical fairyland” is taking the plunge. Via Bloomberg:

China welcomes Luxembourg’s application to be a founding member of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, China’s finance ministry says in a statement on website.

And so, with the most European of European countries on the bandwagon, and with South Korea leaning unmistakably towards joining up, we say again

Bottom line: this isn’t theory or conjecture anymore. Every shred of objective evidence suggests that the dollar’s dominance is coming to an end.

YES to eliminating the predators-DBA-evil-empire.  NO to repeating the same mistakes all over again.  Honest, ethical, productive, benevolent humans have ZERO CHANCE in the world of modern technology as long as they accept the existence of "government".

So-called "governments" are, and always have been nothing but the worst human predators (often in sheep clothing) who simply CLAIM some fictional "authority" over EVERYONE, then go about abusing everyone for the benefit of themselves, their families, their friends and their co-conspirators.

THAT IS INHERENTLY PURE EVIL.

How ANYONE can possibly "not see and understand this" at this point in history is amazing to behold.  Think about this honestly for a moment.  If you do, assuming you can think honestly after a lifetime of brainwashing and habituation to the status-quo of bogus ideas, you will see how utterly insane anything remotely like "government" or "governance" or "authority" is.  These are all 100% pure unadulterated fiction, and anyone who imagines they are are not is 100% clinically insane in the most fundamental possible way.  Okay, ready?

Ask yourself how does a government come to exist?  The answer is obvious.  Somewhere between one and a few dozen individual human beings sit around a table, smear ink on paper or parchment in the form of baldfaced assertions, claims and directives, then smear more ink near the bottom in the shapes of their names (signatures).

And what do they claim?  They CLAIM that they created "a nation".  They CLAIM that EVERYONE within some huge area is now and FOREVER obligated to recognize and obey everything those smears of ink in their document say.

THAT is how a so-called "government" is created.

But wait!  Any one or any dozen human beings can do that.  Any one or dozens can claim anything they wish.  All those humans did was smear ink on paper.  NOTHING popped into existence.  No "nation" appeared.  No "government" appeared.  The same pieces of earth that existed before their silly fraud still exist.  The same human beings who existed before their silly fraud still exist.

What existed before... those human predators with delusions of grandeur and blatantly nefarious intentions... still exist.  Just like any pack of predators of any species, they have made plans to send their paid thugs out to harm or destroy anyone who does not obey their demands.  The existence of that piece of paper or parchment CHANGES NOTHING --- they are human predators who conspired with each other to harm and destroy other beings and their property.

PERIOD.

The very fact that any number of "packs of predators" can "smear ink on paper" should be enough to reveal this scam is nothing more than a fictional fraud to influence weak minded fools.  These so-called "founding documents" are nothing more than Sith Mind Tricks.  I can think of no better term to describe what they are: scams, frauds, Sith Mind Tricks for weak-minded fools.

THINK ABOUT THIS HONESTLY for a change... with your mind EMPTY of all fictional abstractions.  Can you honestly accept, much less support, any blatant fraud and scam in which a few individuals simply CLAIM "authority" over millions or billions?  Can you honestly support millions or billions of human beings being subject to endless and unlimited "contracts" that they did not see, much less sign?

NO benevolent human being could do that.
NO honest human being could do that.
NO sane human being could do that.

Now consider the utterly fictional term "authority".  Here I'm talking about the what has gradually become the "first definition" of "authority", which means the completely absurd notion that "some other human being has a valid, legitimate basis to tell you want you must do (pay them, obey them) and what you must not do (disobey them).  In other words, YOU ARE THEIR SLAVE.

Now, even if you want to support such a blatantly absurd and malevolent fraud, consider whether there even CAN BE any basis for such a notion.

Quite obviously no basis can exist.  Why?  Well, think about it a bit.  And when I say "think", I mean "think", not just regurgitate the endless nonsense that has been jammed into your head since birth by parents, teachers, relatives, friends, schools, media and other misguided weak-minded fools.  THINK about this for a minute.

#1: You are a sentient being who came to exist by being born.

#2: Your so-called "authorities" are sentient beings who came to exist by being born.

Now think.

You and your so-called "authorities" are the same kind of entities.  You both came to exist the same way (you were born).

The mere symmetry of these fundamental relationships is sufficient to demonstrate that no so-called "authority" has any more basis to tell you what to do or not do... than you have to tell them what to do or not do.  Namely ZERO.

I don't intend to be offensive or confrontational when I say this, but any adult human who cannot understand something this simple is clinically insane in the most fundamental possible way.  I mean this precisely.  If you don't believe me, then ask yourself.  What constitutes the most fundamental form of insanity?  The answer is:

 - an inability to distinguish reality from fiction.
 - an inability to distinguish what is from what is not.
 - an inability to distinguish what exists from what does not exist.

To be a bit silly, "to be or not to be, that is the question".  And the answer.

AUTHORITY does not exist.  AUTHORITY is pure fiction.

And yet... a huge percentage of the time, effort, focus, attention and resources of human beings is dedicated to pure delusion (treating fictions as if they are real).

Yes, almost the entire human population of earth is stark raving insane in the most fundamental possible way.

-----

I know you want to return to a "more benevolent and less corrupt way of life".  So I know your intentions are good.

But you need to understand.  Once you accept the fictional abstraction called "authority" to be real and legitimate... GAME OVER.  And I do mean OVER.  Once you establish any "official" system that involves ANY involuntary interactions, ALL GOOD BEING ARE TOAST.  Every.  Single.  Time.  And necessarily so.

Why?  Several reasons, but the most obvious is this.  Any fictional "system" in which some one or many have fictional "authority" over others, the VERY WORST predators will invest all their time, focus, effort, ingenuity and resources to DOMINATE THAT SYSTEM.  Every.  Single.  Time.  The entire history of mankind is 100% consistent evidence of this inherent and necessary fact, the only difference being details (who, how, what, when, where, etc).

-----

Humans don't understand how important fundamentals are.  To be sure, to identify the fundamentals in very complex situations requires a lot of time, focus, effort, attention, diligence and objectivity.  In other words, "it ain't easy".  But the rewards of finally identifying fundamentals are many and enormous.  Essentially you've found the levers with the most leverage.

Unfortunately for good people today, even massive leverage is insufficient when 99.99999% of the humans on the planet are massively and fundamentally insane.  Because they all sit on the opposite side of the teeter-totter.  How much leverage does one need to move the entire population of earth, who have been brainwashed for their entire lives by the predators-that-be?  Answer:  a lot.  And sadly, apparently too much.

Nonetheless, don't waste your time with a replay of what already UTTERLY FAILED in the worst possible way.  Look at what you're saying!  Supposedly the USA was the most perfect "constitutional republic" the world has ever known.  And what is the USSA today?  The worst, most craven, most diabolical, and by far the most dangerous evil empire the world has ever known.

You want to "try that again"?  Seriously?

FORGET IT.  You will get the same result, only worse and vastly faster due to modern technological developments.

-----

The only valid, legitimate and VIABLE system is... NO SYSTEM.  Call it anarchy if you want.  But "liberty" and "freedom" ARE the same as "no system".  If you are free, you are not constrained by any involuntary demands or obligations.  That's what "free" means.

Of course, one huge practical (not theoretical) problem is... how can the world possibly "get there from here" given the entire planet is terminally brainwashed by the predators-that-be.

My personal opinion is... humans are too far gone.  Humans are a failed species.  Humans are finished... most of them just don't realize it yet.  But humans are finished, and will soon be extinct (speaking in terms of years or decades here).  The only humans to survive will be those few IF ANY who manage to escape to outer space.  Most likely that number to escape will be zero, and humans will truly vanish from the universe, and rightly so (speaking "in general" here).

BUT... what if you "refuse to give up", but don't want to work on any kind of escape to space approach?  What is the most plausible scenario for humans to save themselves?

Well, we already know the problem.  They MUST give up on all those bogus fictions, including "law", "nation", "official", "authority", "corporation", "government" and so-forth.  YET... the vast majority of humans are incapable of overturning the lifetime of intensive brainwashing they've suffered for their entire lives.  And so the question might be... how can the "fictions" and "authority" without much changing day to day life (and day to day thinking)?

The best idea I've had is to switch the world over to "government by subscription".  Split "government" up into "departments" that offer the various programs that already exist, that everyone is already familiar with.  This lets people feel like "nothing much changed", since everything that existed before still exists.  Let them feel they are in their comfort zone (what morons!!!).

BUT... make all those government services "by subscription".  In other words, if you want "government education services", you "subscribe".  You pay the fee and you receive the service.  People almost exactly do this today... they pay "property taxes" and receive "public education".  The only problem with the current system is... everyone is required to pay, even those who have no kids, want no education services, and may even thing "government education is EVIL brainwashing".

And so forth down the line for all services.  You want "social security retirement payments"?  No problem.  You pay the subscription fee, and you receive the payments.  And so forth for EVERY "government service".

Now, everyone with half a brain understands what will happen, albeit gradually.  People will find other private individuals who supply similar services, giving everyone many choices for most if not every service that "government" currently provides.  And they will be free to switch providers whenever they wish... or provide those services for themselves... or do without those services.

Of course, it is absolutely necessary that NO provider be able to force anyone to subscribe to their service.  It is also absolutely necessary that no government OR private service be able to deprive anyone of any basic freedom as a consequence of not subscribing.  This is trivially easy for most services, but some will be annoyed to find anyone can travel anywhere they wish... including on freeways, highways, roads, trails, sidewalks, etc.  NOBODY can own "the earth", and so NOBODY can require payments to wander around on the earth.  This does create a modestly unconventional situation in which those who refuse to subscribe to roads can still travel on those roads.  That's the breaks.  What people will find is... some businesses will decide WE NEED THESE ROADS (to receive materials and transport products), and they will partner with each other to keep the roads in reasonable shape.  As an aside, I prefer a world without roads.  And so I will be sad that roads exist, criss-crossing the land in such ugly ways.  But none of us can expect "everything will end up perfectly suiting me", and I like everyone must accept that.  I will happily fly everywhere I go, and happily do without any roads.

So, that's the best legitimate proposal I can dream up.  But understand, absolutely NO scheme or system in which "law" or "authority" exists will you or any other honest, ethical, productive, benevolent human being be happy or be healthy.  YOU WILL BE ABJECT ABUSED SLAVES in any system in which these fictions are accepted as "something real", much less legitimate.

Ditch the fictions.  Otherwise humans will die miserably.

But humans won't.  And so humans are finished.

Every single pack of predators-DBA-government enslave humans for fun, power and profit.  The worst of them at the moment is the USSA.  To pretend that Putin or Russia is worse than the USSA is laughable propaganda.

Do remember, ALL so-called "governments" are fiction --- they do not exist.  What does exist are packs of cooperating predators, which people distinguish and identify with terms like "mafia" and "government" and "central bank".

However, all that exists is the predators and their weapons and actions.  Those "labels" are simply names, and do not add or change anything.

To play games like "this nation versus that nation" or "this political party versus that political party" has no purpose except to distract the attention of billions from the real problem... the problem that makes ALL the difference.

And that problem is human predators and parasites versus human producers AKA prey.  The only way that problem can be solved is for the prey to exterminate all the predators, and as many of the parasites as continue to help, fund, sanction, support and vote-for the predators.

Capitalism where Corporations and Banks are Protected is probably an old Europe thing that just came to the USA in 2009. But it is not Capitalism.

It is Fascism, Inverted Totalitarianism, or Corporate Socialism.

Bailouts are for the Elites. Start a business you are a target of the Banks and Wall Street. You don't get a Bailout.

Zerohedge is trying hard to ignore the fact that the Federal Reserve is played out, and no longer relevant.  Zerohedge is not alone -- this is the case with other media outlets, all of which are currently dominated by the Network of Global Corporate Control.

http://arxiv.org/PS_cache/arxiv/pdf/1107/1107.5728v2.pdf

But the Network of Global Corporate Control is insolvent, and going under the bankruptcy regimes of the world's nations.  Fiat is going to be replaced by asset-backed currencies.   Zerohedge is going to be wound down if it can't start reporting what is actually going to be the dominant force -- a coalition for the rule of law which consists of  the BRICS, Germany (and the other European countries mentioned in this article), the G77 and the US minus the Fed.  China is going to have to wait its turn until after a peaceful transition -- not now with the Network of Global Corporate Control now defunct playbook consisting of a currency war and worse as the fiat currencies crash with permanent gold backwardation.

If you don't appreciate that the bankers are just drooling for a return to the gold standard, so they can get up to all of their old tricks again, you just aren't paying attention. Also a return to the gold standard will condemn 70% of the World to permanent poverty (going to sell much into that scenario? or is prosperity going to be a thing of the past?).

The bottom line is this, as far as legal tender goes, if you have honesty, openness and transparency, along with enforcement, ANY means of tender will work. But if you DON'T have honesty, openness and transparency, along with enforcement, then NO means of tender will work.

Remember, in the 1960's, Ronald Reagan (in "A Time for Choosing", 1964) was pointing out that the 1939 dollar had dropped in buying power to 45c. That was on the gold standard. It's a couple of minutes in:

The only reason PM's were brought in historically (prior, promissary notes worked well for 1,000's of years), was to centralise coinage and facilitate taxation, to expand the power and control of Government. Well, the power and control of Government is already way beyond all reason, and for myself anyway, I don't like the idea of giving the criminally insane scum opportunities for going even further down that road.

I think the lines are drawn. It would not take much effort for a new global bank to effectively rate our credit lower and remove any further growth from our economy. When foreign governments believe in our leadership again they may yet reconsider. However, the best thing to do at this point is see if Shanghai can actually pull it off; that is re-vamp a broken system and make it better for everyone. Currently, what we have is not sustainable anyway.

There's a lot of sense in Britain joining this organisation. We have a lot of interests in the Region, and many (a majority?) that are applying to join are members of the British Commonwealth. For us to be able to do the best we can by those members of the Commonwealth family, means we should be there alongside them in the organisation.

It will also serve us well when the lawless State that is the EU (it is, by every definition, a lawless State), and its ECB, inevitably detonates (lawless States always fail, usually catastrophically) into self destruction. It will be a little bit of ringfencing to help protect us somewhat from the inevitable damage (though we can't ringfence ourselves properly until we leave the EU, and every member Nation should do the same - get out yesterday, if not sooner).

I don't see this as being either anti-American or anti-dollar. In fact, I think America should join too. Though I suppose if America WANTS IT to be anti-American or anti-dollar, then I suppose it can make it so.
