Rand Paul "Officially" Running For President In 2016

Tyler Durden's picture

As The Washington Examiner reports,

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul will officially seek the White House in 2016, according to a federal election filing.

The development is not surprising as Paul has signaled in the coming months that he is pursuing a run. The senator, who was elected in 2010, has signaled he will officially announce his candidacy in April.

Paul was elected to the Senate in 2010 and is a favorite amongst the conservative Tea Party. He recently took the straw poll at the CPAC event last month.

Rand Paul is a born again Christian zionist.

Probably means he is a recovering alcoholic. Most of them are.

Probably also means he's willing to sacrifice our real life for the afterlife.

I would think most are tired of the game unless you are one of the "gamers". It isn't too difficult to understand, if one studies non-reformist history, the game has been played for thousands of years. As Solomon stated:

Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

"we should not be giving american taxpayer's money away to foreign countries under any circumstances. I would end all foreign aid"

Even Israel, Rand?

"No, of course i didnt mean Israel. Obviously I support giving Israel foriegn aid money. Just Israel though, they are The One Country worthy of it.  I never said I would end foreign aid to them. Who said I didn't support Israel, cuz i totally do. Like, all the time. More than anyone. In fact, Im the most supportive of Israel. Ever. "

Here's my prediction:

He will run on mostly neo-con principles, since he wants to be president way too bad to actually be consistent like his father. He won't go quite "neo-con enough" to win over the republican/isreal first wing(which is most republicans), but he will go neo-con enough to make his fathers supporters give up on him in disgust. He will stick around through a few primaries, and then drop out of the race, endorsing Jeb Bush, and giving him a disgustingly flattering speech at the convention when Jeb accepts the nomination(just like when he endorsed romney with HIS OWN FATHER STILL IN THE RACE). Jeb will then lose to Killary, who we will have to deal with for the next 8 years.

Downvote away, you mooks!!!

my prediction holds the same no matter who the eventual nominee is. Jeb being the nominee is ancillary to my main prediction: Rand Pauls behaviour during and after his campaign. The evnetual republican nominee makes no difference, who ever wins is just the next face of the deep state/corporate war machine, and is irrelevent. Is the grovelling Rand will do afterwards I am refering to. He had a choice in the senate: be a consistent anti-war/bank/big govt type in his father's mold, which means an outsider,  or be a garden variety republican that wants to be part of the club. He very clearly chose the latter

His father also has/had ties to the Freemasons, specifically the order of the Eastern Star. Rand will at least be allowed to participate because of this if he isn't himself also a fraternal member.

The site is a bit on the tinfoil side so you need to read for context not bias, but it covers the key points about Ron's ties to the Masons.

http://watch-unto-prayer.org/synarchy-6.html

People also seem to forget Ron Paul had been advocating for a single world wide currency, one has to ask who gets to create aka set the standards and create the currency etc. commodity based or otherwise.

http://www.singleglobalcurrency.org/governments.html

2001, March 13: U.S. Congressman Ron Paul, (Texas)

"There's nothing to fear from globalism, free trade and a single worldwide currency.... The effort in recent decades to unify government surveillance over all world trade and international financial transactions through the UN, IMF, World Bank, WTO, ICC, the OECD, and the Bank of International Settlements can never substitute for a peaceful world based on true free trade, freedom of movement, a single but sound market currency, and voluntary contracts with private property rights.... The ultimate solution will only come with the rejection of fiat money worldwide, and a restoration of commodity money. Commodity money if voluntarily and universally accepted could give us a single world currency requiring no money managers, no manipulators orchestrating a man-made business cycle with rampant price inflation."

Congressional Record, 13 March 2001

I don't disagree on most the points here but it is a bit naive to think there will be no manipulators because that assumes no counterfitting and no need to manage money and that people will accept a single commodity type universally and voluntary. The reason why people use minted coins instead of raw chunks of silver or gold is it deals with these issues.

Thu, 03/19/2015 - 15:15 | 5907123 cornfritter
cornfritter's picture

And who controls the world's stockpiles of "commodity(ies)" which is/are to be used as "money"?  And what authority should that warrant?  Maybe a whole new paradigm is needed.  Decentralized yes, friendly to the world's individiuals and industrial captains, yes! centrally controlled? NO  Gold should not be on the list of possibilities.  Let it trade openly, it is one of the time tested premier stores of value (for reasons i cannot understand), but don't accept it as backing for a public currency - this is asking to continue world slavery.

Thu, 03/19/2015 - 16:41 | 5907466 Dewey Cheatum Howe
Dewey Cheatum Howe's picture

More importantly if you believe in voluntary exchange, voluntary exchange and a single currency is not workable. What if both parties want to voluntarily use a secondary currency but can't even if it is available to both because the market is rigged to only accept a single universal currency? Can you both choose to not use any currency at all either in that type of a setup? Without a none of the above or noparticipation option you can't have true voluntary exchange.

We don't know everything that Rand thinks.  I agree that he is the best bet againt the DC psychopaths who are destroying this country and others as fast as they can. If he voices too much independence he will be blocked. Noobidy can keep more than a few promises or goals after election, because upon entering a given office there is a maze of contracts, alliances, conflicts, etc., that hold up any real progress. If they can deliver on one or two good reforms they're lucky. If Rand can reform taxes and related problems it would be a great start.

He might be the guy who will save the US before total destruction. The US state is going to fail entirely, this is what I feel and hear from folks around me, I live in Europe. I see the US with GB playing against the whole world, what the fuck they think is going to happen? They rely on chaos and failed countries, and as cluborlov I think has mentioned it: what if they fail in making fail others? It's going full retard.

The real problem are not taxes, it's the FED, Bank of England, Royal Crown and Washington and the whole bunch of banksters, psychopats and the network of gov supported institues, funds and foundations and hundreds of thousands of bureaucrats getting paid to manage the so called laws created by the oligarchy.  When all these are gone then most of issues will be a child play.

To maintain the appearance of legitimacy.

I've noted this a few times recently, increasingly the current government is losing a legitimate claim to power. Not voting isn't necessarily apathy, but people revoking their consent. Especially at the federal level, to vote is to indicate you have faith that the system is actually presenting choices and giving the system legitimacy.

As we go further down the path of destruction, fewer and fewer people believe the choices being made by the government are in their best interests, and more and more legitimacy is lost. At some point that reaches a threshold and you get your _____ Spring moment. To prevent that from happening TPTB are more than happy to force people into "supporting" the government. It's the same reason you have propaganda like "if you don't vote, you don't have a right to complain."

Every day the US looks more like Stalinist Russia and less like the free country it once was, this is just one of many instances.

if they allowed us to vote from our home via a computer or something, it might get people more involved.  it might allow people to make a more thoughtful educated decision.  when you go to a ballot box, you are rushed and are presented with little or no background.  it would be nice to allow the public to have some input into the candidate selection process/primaries.  however this might be all too late.

How could they enforce it? Subject to arrest if you don't vote?

IF they go this route, look for some type of national voting holiday and/or some type of refundable tax credit. Who knows, maybe it will turn into some type of online voting (as if diebold isn't bad enough).
All voting will be online - trust us - it's easier than voting in person!

Since Olamo can't get the amnesty passed he decided to do it one piece at a time. By making voting mandatory everyone, including illegals, will get a license or ID thus giving them one more piece of 'leagal' puzzle - voting is another piece.

I have some real problems with him. But I also support enough of his platform to consider full support. I just need him to address the Washington  Zionist elite problem. If he denounces the war mongering zionists, and vows to limit the corporate money he takes, I might consider sending him money and getting friends to do the same. But I want change, no more bullshit lies, and then turn around and just give us more of The Federal Reserve, The NSA, The CIA, The Koch Brothers, The Pentagon, Corporate Crony Rule, and the All Powerful Banking Elite. End Zionist Rule over us Americans, I am sick of rule from Tel Aviv.
