Jimmy Carter remains the worst.  When Obama is done with the lame-duck portion of his administration, he'll make Carter look like Reagan.

It's Saturday, so it's time for the weekly cartoon from the retarded point of view.

Cartoons are great for communicating simple points to simple minds.

Unfortunately, it would be difficult to express in a cartoon that:

both US and Israeli intelligence admit that Iran has no nuclear weapon program,

IAEA inspectors have been monitoring Iran's nuclear research for decades,

the sanctions imposed against  Iran are in violation of the UN charter,

for over a decade Iran has made offers which go above and beyond their obligations under the NPT,

and every effort to resolve diplomatically any outstanding issues has been subverted by the US.

Yep, a cartoon can't do all of that - it requires reading. That's probably why so many Americans are obediently terrified of every new threat du jour.

FWIW: Most US presidents were terrible. When you include risks, the two worse are:

Madison: Declared war against England with no army and no navy. British troops burned down Washington and invaded several major cities.

Lincoln: 670,000 Americans died during the civil war. Highest lost of american lives in any war in american history. Suspected  habeas corpus. Imprisioned journalist critical of the war.

No one can come close to Dishonest Abe. Lincoln set the precedent for both the Fed and the 16th Amendment, by issuing greenbacks and establishing a "war-time" income tax. And statists/proggies would have us believe that war was another honorable crusade about freeing the oppressed. (It's easy to see where all this "mind other people's business" shit got its start.) It was a ruthless power play about property and what entity would maintain final control over all of it. Thankye, Abe, you made us all slaves. Way to go!

I will never get why ZH posts guest articles ripping Obama for attempting to reach a resolution over Iran's nuclear program that avoids major military conflict (that could ultimately put Russia & the US at even greater odds).

I dislike Obama in the same way and for most of the same reasons I disliked Bush Jr., but if war with/against Iran can be avoided despite Israel & Saudi Arabia's strong desires to see such a conflict, I will laud Obama for this major accomplishment.

I would think his past missteps would have warranted more scepticism than this on ZH.  I get that most here don't like Israel, but if you think taking the other side is going to make this turn out better somehow, you've going to learn a hard lesson about international politics.

Look-- Obama absolutely hates America; that isn't up for debate. Every single thing he has said and done has supported that fact. You actually have to admire the guy for his forthrightness and consistency. So that alone is enough to tell you that his Iran policy is not in American interests.

But if that isn't enough-- let's examine some other circumstantial evidence:

1) Valerie Jarrett, the shadow president, was raised in Iran.
2) we know that Obama was born Muslim, and raised as a Muslim by his Muslim stepfather. So we know he will support any Islamic state over the USA.
3) the Obama administration is riddled with members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
4) it is a badly-kept secret that the current head of the CIA is a crypto-Muslim, having been converted during his time in Saudi Arabia.

Putting nuclear arms in Iran supports Islam in the region and undermines US security and influence in the region. Therefore, Obama will support that outcome.

Is Obama the worst President ever?  Does a bear shit in the woods?

Obama is the Zero man--the ultimate triumph of hype over substance.  He was an unproven, empty suit sold to us by a cheerleading PC Media desperate for racial "redemption".  Lucky for Obama, the American people were so dazzled with "Hope and Change", combined with the novelty of electing the first Black president, that they barely asked any questions either.

What is Obama?

  • An atheist with deep Muslim sympathies
  • A Marxist who has been co-opted into supporting crony capitalism
  • A narcissist who wrote (or ghost wrote) two autobiographies before he had done jack squat.  In fact, one could convincingly argue he didn't do anything of substance until becoming POTUS.  And giving speeches doesn't count.
  • A race baiter who absolutely hates white people, but has no problem using them (or doing white women).  And, of all the white people, he hates the Clintons the most.  Maybe even more than Netanyahu, but it's probably a toss-up
  • He also genuinely hates the America who gave him so many opportunities.  His wet dream is to transform America into a Third World country.
  • Obama is fascinated by, and sympathetic to, all enemies of America.  I'm convinced he wants to see Iran get a nuke and use it on Israel and the USA--but only after he is out of office.
  • A political animal.  Despite his inate sympathies, he had no problem killing bin Laden 'cause he knew it would help him get re-elected.

Why should there even be a solution? How about solving the "issue" by simply declaring it a non-US interest? In other words, let's mind our own damn business AND only our own business. Who's Iran? Who's Israel? Who fucking cares!, would be a more fruitful operating principle of .guv policy. And not just in the Mid East. How about playing real defense for once, not the soft pedaled offense that has us entangled everywhere today? It's like the British trying to maintain control of India after the war, this activist policy abroad just hastens the end of what little influence we have remaining over these events. It's stoopid.

Let me first say that I don't trust a single govt, anywhere, with nuclear weapons. With that out of the way, I find it insanely hypocritical to here the only country in history that has ever used a nuclear weapon (entirely unnecessarily and against two civilian populations with no military value, no less) team up with a country that has defied international law and refused to sign any non preliferation treaty while developing hundreds of nuclear weapons and lying about it, AND these are by far the two most belligerent countries in the world, tell another country they are breaking the law with uranium enrichment. I'm no fan of Iran, but remind me how many countries they have invaded this past few decades?

First, I think Obama is consciously making a major strategic realignment in the middle east. US allies there have traditionally been Sunni, aka Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Saudis, etc. By itself, this has a lot of negative implications for regional stability and peace.

Next, he is foolishly allowing Iran to become a nuclear threshold state, Because of the dynamics of the region, and without the protector ship of the US, all the major Sunni powers will also try and become nuclear threshold powers. Iran, fearing the nuclear programs of the Saudis, etc, will complete the deal, tha tis, they will not trust the Sunnis to stop at threshold. This means lots of nuclear proliferation to lots of unstable countries with lots of crazies vying for power and control, in short, a very much more dangerous world.

Obama is a disaster.

My guess is that war against Iran and Syria is likely being temporarily postponed like the conflict in the Ukraine rather than being avoided. Minsk II has given Porko and Rats the time (and IMF resources to survive contrary to the charter) to rearm with American and Nato assistance for the upcoming battles to crush the independance movement in the East and perhaps retake Crimea.

Once Russia and Europe are fully engaged this summer Syria and Iran will be indefensible and ripe for the picking.

In any event it is still a more competent plan than the NeoCon effort to start multiple wars on multiple fronts simultaneously...

One thing I've learned is that the US does things like that once it has no other choice. There is no more profit to be made from this situation because militarily the US is stretched very thin. It would be impossible to go up against a well-armed foe with a world-class army like Iran.

Not to worry, Arnold.  The first carrier is but 4 months late and Putin doesn't need it for any putschs or coups right away.  Hollande is grateful for opportunity to look firm.

As for the Iran nuke deal, Iran was never going to cave on the US ultimatum.  This isn't about nuclear weapons; it's about who Iran's crude oil really belongs to.

That was the thinking on Iraq too.  And it didn't take much to crush Saddam and his huge army that ran like little girls after only 50 days of intense bombing by B52s etc.   And didn't Saddam cry like a little girl when he was found hiding in his hole?

And what about that 7 day war thing?  All the Arab countries and their mighty armies crushed by the Isreal forces, many of whom were WOMEN?  But what hot, tough women those Isrealies are?  Arab men hide behind their women and children the former being covered in bukkas.  When you reject science and embrace irrational Islam, not only don't you have atomic bombs, but you get your hairy ass kicked back to the medieval period where you belong.

Iran should be praised for their commitment to stopping climate change. I mean they could have spent all of the money they spent on their nuclear program and invested it in refineries and had plenty of cheap fuel with plenty of money left over for gender equality studies. Instead, because of their commitment to the UN and climate change initiatives, they have chosen to live with harsh financial hardships of international punishments for their nuclear energy pursuit. We should hail them as heroes. And the constant references to their occasional outbursts of hatred towards Jews and other non Islamic nations is simply a cultural thing...kind of like terets syndrome, and completely harmless. They are Muslim, a religion of peace, at least as long as you agree with them on just about everything, and we should be willing to compromise. I mean, we really don't have any values anyway, so who are we to suggest their values are wrong. The simple fact that they have very few divorces and virtually NO homosexuals tells me they enjoy a completely love filled and harmonious existence that we too should emulate.

"...I will laud Obama for this major accomplishment..."

I'll go way further than that and say the thing I admire most about Obama (despite all his faults) is the fact that he isn't following the script on this issue and is trying to do something about Iran. I have no idea why. This is very un-Obama like - he's defying everyone in the D.C. cesspool, their handlers, the lobbyists, the monied interests, etc. - basically, all the psychopaths that really run the U.S.

This doesn't absolve him of all the other damage his office has done to the country, but I don't for a second believe he really has a say in most of that. He really doesn't have a say in anything about Iran, either - it's just odd that he's trying to do anything at all. Obama has absolutely nothing personal to gain by engaging Iran and everything to lose. TPTB have been on autopilot to an Iranian genocide for decades - it will happen - they have all ready decided. Out of all the things Obama did, THIS would have probably been the easiest for him to simply ignore and let happen.

I don't care if he's successful or not - for this one, single issue, Obama is being openly defiant against his masters. Futile or not, this delights me to no end.

If Obama wanted the oil, he would sit back and do nothing. TPTB will either ensure a war starts so they can take it by force, or they will engineer an Iranian Spring to to take over the country from within and install ANOTHER U.S. puppet regime.

Since Obama's efforts are towards the end of just treating Iran like a soverign nation instead of destroying it, he's working against TPTB's efforts, i.e., he's not going after their oil.

I disagree. The two Iraq wars were about destroying Iraqi military capability and killing Iraqis because Israel was paranoid. The Syrian 'revolution' [cough] was about destroying Syrian military capability and killing Syrians because Israel was paranoid. The Iran war and genocide will be about destroying Iran's military capability and killing Iranians because Israel is paranoid. The Gulf states have a number of reasons regarding oil/gas, but also feared the Shia crescent armies. It fits nicely into their security plans to eliminate any threat of the Shia armies by keeping them busy with fake ISIS. Oil and gas are secondary reasons, powerful but not the sole reasons and not the primary reasons. Psychopaths on the periphery looking to fill their pockets with oil money are just not going to let a good war/ethnic cleansing go to waste.

I'm not sure how you figure Iran's oil fits into prices. The economies of the world are on their death-beds. Nobody needs to pump another drop of oil to keep prices down - nobody is buying any because there's no economic activity and nobody needs or wants the oil. It will take years to scale up Iran's oil produciton anyway. Iraq is only at about a quarter or third of their production. It would be a hell of a lot easier to pull fake ISIS out of Iraq if you wanted to flood the market with oil then it would be to take over Iran and develop fields there.

The Gulf States don't want Iran's oil to flow EVER and Israel doesn't want Iran's gas to get to the EU before they monopolize the market with thier Leviathan gas. Sorry, but I don't see anyone with the will or desire to take over Iran for it's oil. There's too many powers that want to make sure Iran never sells much.

Had England not signed a bone head treaty with Poland, there would have been no war in the West.  Hitler would have reunited the Germans in Gdansk with the rest of the country, and was even offering peaceful land trades to get it.  Apparently some Polish Politico/Military higher ups were too stiff necked to listen to reason (backed by England, of course).  When that failed, he signed up with Stalin to crush Poland.

Hitler's aspirations were to reunite the German people, get rid of the parastic elements of society, and to (apparently) take over Ukraine.

Obama's aspirations are to divide the American people, get rid of the most productive elements of society, and to (apparently) take over Ukraine.

War with Iran is a given. Revelation 17:11; Daniel 11:40-45

Oblahblah is only a marionette puppet anyway, just like all the others. After Wilson sold out, he had this to say:

“Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States —in the fields of commerce and manufacturing—are afraid of somebody. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.” - Woodrow Wilson

As true today as when those words were spoken.

You enjoy quoting the Bible.

Then consider this...

Hebrews 10:26-29  New International Version (NIV)

26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Understand that with this truth...

Hebrews 6:4-6 New International Version (NIV)

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen[a] away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

I have deliberately sinned after receiving the gift. I am damned as a result.

Have you?

Oh I will get downarrows for this. But you need to know the truth.

Are you chosen?

For many are called but few are chosen.

Wide is the path to eternal destruction.

Narrow is the path to salvation and very few shall find it.

Are you chosen?

Tom, I've studied the Bible, preached, taught, and written on numerous Biblical subjects for approximately 5 decades. During that time, I've had many question whether they had commited the "unforgivable sin" of blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. This is what you are referring to. There are a few very good articles that I believe cover this issue very well at:

http://christiananswers.net/q-eden/unpardonablesin.html

And this as well:

https://www.apologeticspress.org/apcontent.aspx?category=11&article=1218

I would advise you to take the time to read them slowly, carefully and prayerfully.

Just the fact that you are concerned, and apparently remorseful about what you have done, and seeking forgiveness is a pretty good indicator that you are probably judging yourself too harshly.

After you have taken the time to contemplate what is covered in the referenced articles, feel free to contact me on this or another thread that is current at that time, to answer any other questions or concerns you may have.

I will be praying for you.

The most important question you are indirectly answering is:

"Who are the chosen?"

And it ain't Israel.

They are those who are called according to His promise, no matter what they used to be, Jew, Gentile, whatever.

Therefore, endless war on behalf of "the Chosen" is not going to do any nation one damned bit of good.  I'd say, the opposite.  But if there are young, strong Christian men who are willing to head to the ME to fight and lay down their lives to save the lives of the Copts, and other Christians being slaughtered and raped by ISIS, I'd imagine that Jesus would honor a soldier who had "no greater love than to lay down his life for his friend."

The pope, a Jesuit, speaks to a joint session of Congress in September - very ominous.  Thomas Jefferson would know America had truly lost her way:

"I do not like the late Resurrection of the Jesuits. They have a General, now in Russia, in correspondence with jesuits in the U.S. who are more numerous than everybody knows. Shall We not have Swarms of them here? In as many shapes and disguises as ever.... In the shape of printers, Editors, Writers, School masters, etc. If ever any Congregation of men could merit, eternal Perdition on Earth and in Hell... it is this Company of Loyola." - Thomas Jefferson, 2nd President of the United States

I used to think that way too, however it's not that easy to evaluate what's really going on.  Ike warned us about the military industrial complex and corruption, that post WWII, the United States for the first time had a constant and very powerful lobby to perrpetuate war.  Due to corruption, that lobby was a smashing success, refedining wars into many different terms such as "police actions" and keeping us at war spending levels for the better part of a century.  This has murdered millions of people and utterly destroyed our economy, saddling us with a mountain of debt that cannot be repaid.  The  United States has been involved in at least one war every year since WWII except for five peacetime years: 1976-1978, 1997, and the year 2000.  That’s 75 years of war in the last 80 years, and that’s a big tab to pay.

I will call your attention to the fact that 60% of that peacetime period, the only three year stretch since WWII was under Jimmy Carter.  The reason you think Jimmy Carter was the worst president, worse than Woodrow Wilson who established the Fed and the Federal Income tax, worse than that elitist commie symp FDR who built the federal collossus, is mere ignorance.

The presidents are playing the part given to them, and at this late stage in the game, they are mere puppets with almost no free will.  The similarities between the Bush and Obama administration should have made that clear to all but the dullest among us.

There has been no one before and no one since that has completely  destroyed the economic system of the world in such a short period of time. He left us with trillions in debt, destroyed our international reputation for things like torture and economic abuse and destroyed the international banking system. Not only that but he turned our economy into a "Corporate/Banking Socialistic Government" where trillions were handed out to our big banks, corporations, and international friends (those very people that went on a gambling binge) ....and not given to the masses of people that lost their incomes and livelyhood. He destroyed the middle class in order to pay for the risk taking by the Banking system....his good buddies. HOW CAN  WE FORGET THIS TRAVESTY when it just occured recently. Then he handed this huge bag of shit to the democrats...and then the Republicans stonewalled any changes to the very banking system that destroyed the world. <--- patiently waiting for the concise 'dissent' position to my postulation ~ whereby, you EXPLAIN to me how JEWS have suffered during the Obama Presidency]

[Calling all Jews here to explain to me how you've suffered during the Obama presidency]...

Oh ~ & while you're at it... Can y'all EXPLAIN to me how this comment was GREETED with [6 RED ARROWS] within 2 minutes & 45 seconds of posting... Do y'all REALLY get paid that many sheckels?... Or does one limp dick just get paid 4 writing the algo code?... Which means to say ~ You're getting 'JEWED' on your compensation...

I'd complain!

LOL ~ Let me attempt to mitigate this...

It's difficult to imagine that ANYONE... EVER... could suck worse than Bush...

But fuck me... Obama took on the challenge & prolly exceeded the mandate.

But Obama never gets elected if not for the Bush catastrophe.   Bush has to be the worst because without him there is no Obama presidency.

That said they all suck and the electoral circus is bullshit to cover predetermined outcomes.

In other words it's all fucked.

I actually had this discussion today because I happened to be talking 2 person I know about Appotomatox [how weird is that]?]......

Short thesis:

- No surrender

- No CARPETBAGGERS

I can't see that I'd be any worse off...

I used to think Bush was the worst ever; no one could be worse. Later, there were times when I wished he would return.

You're not paying attention.  Obama took many of Bush's policies and double downed on them.  We have more cracking down on whistle blowers with less transparency and more spying on everything.  Under Obama, the US has been bombing other countries left and right.  Gitmo is still open.  The TBTF banks have gotten even bigger under Obama's watch.  If you didn't like Bush, you should hate Obama.

BS ! This is how you recognize a "democrat" talking line in 99 % of cases: our guy has his problems, but the guy from the R team was a complete moron. Same algo when it comes to "republican" talking lines. Well, I'm not afilliated to any party and I couldn't care less of what label a politician decides to stick onto his hat but in this particular case I must say that, compared to Obama, Bush looks like Einstein in a good day ! Just a quick tour of their foreign policy "accomplishments" would be enough for a "no contest" decision...

Only if the market crashes before he departs. We are talking about a massive correction though.
