I never really thought about your work as having any kind of 'influence', especially some kind of U.S. generational-cultural influence, WB. I guess I assumed you were younger (well, than me) and probalby didn't grow up in the U.S. or at least spent a lot of time somewhere else. That's based on absolutely nothing except a guess, your knowledge of PhotoShop and some of the great HK pics you had on Flickr. Your work is pretty damn diverse and speaks to a lot of contemporary issues in clever ways.
In fact, I would be hard-pressed to try to lump your work in any kind of category. Except that you probably don't work for the NYT, Fox, CNN or the government. Is that a category?
I think he has a bit of a libertarian streak in him, which is good.
If 'calling out the ruling classes for being evil fucking asses' is a category, then WB7 and Rick Dees and Gerald Celente and Max Keiser and Alex Jones and Richard Andrew Grove and a few others fall in to it, I suppose. Of course, the Tylers are all in there as well.
WB provides laughter in the face of the evils that assail humankind at this time.
