Markets, or at least what we now call markets, does not predict the future. Maybe it once did, or at least in part, but not now. Today the "markets" are simply expressing the mood of the public. Our mood has typically been based somewhat on reality and what front running component it may have had was the result of the positive effects of a positive outlook, and not the other way around. Today's mood is as distorted as any drug addict's. It is a broken vestige of what used to be normal and as such is meaningless as the actions of a lunatic with a gun define justice. We can't stop the bankers and our government through any other means than by restricting our involvement. So please get the fuck out of the markets. We can't complain about a rigged game and expect ti to be changed if we will not walk away from it.
