I left my home country almost 15 years ago and I've travelled widely and lived in many places...including the last 8 years in the Middle East. I've never once heard anybody state 'Death to US/ UK/ the west etc.'
In fact I'm stunned at the complete lack of hatred. If I was a Muslim and I looked at the world around me and the victimisation, murder and punishment of my fellow Muslims by the West...I'd be angry. Very angry. And justifiably so.
My experience is that muslims on the whole are very pleasant, peaceful and friendly people...the poorer ones in particular.
