If you are talking about the US occupation of Iraq, the 5 year old and younger mortaility rate in Iraq DECREASED significantly during that period, falling from 41 to 38 per 1,000 live births, so that woudl be real hard to square with your claims, especially since 500k children would be a significant proportion of that population.

And then there are the hundreds of eye witnesses who say the plane hit. And what happened to the hijacked plane? It was in fact tracked continuously by air traffic control.
Why did WTC7 collapse? Because when the WTC towers collapsed, part of the building fell into WTC7 causing a huge gash extending from the facade of the building to the center. The gash was about 10 stories tall (in a 47 story building) and about 20% it's width at is widest point, and caused structural damage. In addition, burning debris from the WTC towers cause several fires to break out. The collapse of the towers took out the water mains, and there was no active sprinkler system as a result. The NYC fire department was unable to get the fires under control, and when they noticed the metal structural supports start to buckle from the heat, they knew the building would collapse and evacuated. Again HUNDREDS of eye witnesses.

But I'm glad you have a degree in literature, but that does not allow you to replace reality with fantasy or hoist poetic license into real world factual events if the aim is factual accuracy. I read things critically and make judgements based on logical soundness, simplicity of explanation, and evidence. It baffles me how anyone can possibly deny what happened on 9/11. It would probably take a couple hundred thousand people, all sworn to secrecy to commit an evail act, to carry out the conspiracies of the truthers. The simpler explanation, especially when supported by overwhelming evidence, is the much stronger position.

1 egg, plus 3 yolks
4¾ cups (1 lb. 5 oz.) all-purpose flour, sifted, plus more for dusting

2 cups seedless strawberry or plum jam, for filling
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine yeast and milk in a bowl; let sit until foamy, about 10 minutes. Beat ½ cup sugar and butter in a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment until fluffy. Add yeast mixture, vanilla, salt, egg, and yolks; beat until combined. With the motor running, slowly add flour; beat until dough is smooth. Transfer to a lightly greased bowl and cover loosely with plastic wrap; set in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1½ hours.
2. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 14" round about ½" thick. Using a floured 3" ring cutter, cut dough into 20 rounds; gather and reuse scraps. Transfer rounds to lightly greased parchment paper—lined baking sheets, at least 3" apart. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and set in a warm place until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
3. Heat 2" oil in a 6-qt. saucepan until a deep-fry thermometer reads 350°. Using scissors, cut the donuts out of the parchment paper, leaving about 1" of paper around the sides of each donut (the paper makes it easier to transfer them to frying oil). Working in batches, place donuts in oil, paper side up, using tongs to quickly peel off and discard paper. Cook, flipping once, until puffed and golden, 2–3 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to a baking sheet with a wire rack; let cool completely.
4. Place remaining sugar in a large bowl; set aside. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a plain ¼" tip with jam. Working with one donut at a time, insert tip about ½" deep into the side of donut, pipe 2–3 tbsp. jam, and toss generously in sugar.

The conflict in Gaza in July and August was largely responsible for the dramatic increase in fatalities. It claimed the lives of 2,220 Gazans, of whom 1,492 were civilians, 605 militants and 123 unverified.
More than 11,000 people were injured and about 500,000 Palestinians were internally displaced at height of the conflict. About 100,000 remain so.
There was also a sharp rise in fatalities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, where 58 Palestinians were killed and 6,028 injured - the highest number of fatalities in incidents involving Israeli forces since 2007 and the highest number of injuries since 2005.
Most of the incidents took place in the second half of the year, following the abduction and murder of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, which led to daily riots and protests in East Jerusalem.

Things are so screwed up in Middle East that the only explanation that makes "sense" to me now is that the US, about to lose its Petrodollar ace in the hole, is totally destabilizing the rest of the world so that the elites can scurry their worthless asses off the sinking ship, with as much loot as they can load onto their lifeboats.
Think about it. " How convenient" (sing praises of the church lady) that just enough arms are left behind to Iraqi forces, another $500 million in arms in Yemen, etc to arm rebels or ISIS or whomever is the proxy du jour, keeping the tinder box lit enough for it to explode any minute. Now in a way similiar to Pearl Harbor, and the World Trade Center bombing, the US now appears to be giving Iran the "go ahead" to proceed with development of nuclear arms. Same thing in Ukraine. I think where i part company with a great many people on this site is that most people here are trying to put "sense" into all of this chaos, and therefore all the conspiracy theories and such, when the fact is there is nothing to be made sense of, because everything you see is the result of incompetancy, lunacy, and the foibles of man. Most of the time, chaos is just chaos. People who want to control things generally do not like chaos. It's too unpredictable.

Egypt is now on the front lines of the battle against ISIS, and some of its leaders are making new accusations about the Obama administration's war on terror.
They accuse the United States of playing a double game, fighting terrorists abroad while meeting with them at home.
A recent White House meeting between President Barack Obama and Muslim leaders sent shockwaves through the Middle East, specifically in Israel and Egypt. The cause of the uproar: the group included leaders with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
"We just don't understand because we know the history of the Muslim Brothers," former Israeli Ambassador to Egypt Zvi Mazel told CBN News. "We know exactly who they are. So how come the United States, the administration -- in that case the president himself and the State Department -- receive delegation[s] of the Muslim Brothers?"
Of the 14 leaders attending the meetings, at least three represented groups that were founded by or tied to the Muslim Brotherhood.
One is an active lobbyist trying to convince the United States to remove Hamas and Hezbollah from the terror group list and put Israel on it.
One photo showed a Muslim leader giving the Muslim Brotherhood salute in front of the State Department seal.
"President Obama has some -- how do you say -- a weakness toward the Muslim Brothers," Mazel said.
Founded in Egypt in 1928, the Muslim Brotherhood spawned many terrorist organizations, including al Qaeda and Hamas, the Palestinian faction ruling the Gaza Strip. The organization is now outlawed in Egypt; yet the White House refuses to designate the group as a terrorist entity.
"[The] Muslim Brothers is now the driving force of radical Islam," Mazel explained. "Muslim Brothers -- I mean an organization like al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram and all the others -- they base their behavior on the teachings of the Muslim Brothers."
Between the White House and State Department meetings, the Muslim Brotherhood issued the following declaration:
"It is incumbent upon everyone to be aware that we are in a process of a new phase where we summon what is latent, our strength; where we recall the meanings of jihad and prepare ourselves, our wives, our sons, our daughters and whoever marched on our path to a long, uncompromising fight, and during this stage we ask for martyrdom."
Mazel said the call for jihad ("holy" war) points to the West, especially the United States.
