its been 2 long weekend days since the pleebs have been able to buy massively over priced stocks.
it used to be comical but know this is pathetic
Everyone is imaging a world with an Iran-US nuke deal and a Greek-Troika deal. Time will tell.
Meanwhile, if you live in the Southwest US, get ready for some visitors "dropping" in this summer;

Yeah I'm sure they won't stand out at all. LOL
Pleebs ? More like .1 %
Bankers are buying stocks/risk (sic.)
Yellen called, they are running out of stocks.
You guys just hate it when the market goes up!
R.R., it would be nice to see a huge move that had to do with REAL fundamentals, and not rumors, printed fake $$, or bull$hit funnymentals.

I totally understand that and agree 100%. I just get a kick out of the constant whining and fighting of the trend no matter how rigged it is. Will we pay dearly for this? Hell yes, but you might as well enjoy the ride and get what you can while it is happening.
As much as one should prepare for the worst when it's payback time, he should also take what the market gives now. If one chooses to fight it all the way up, so be it.
RR, then we agree. I too am long when necessary, while holding my nose the whole way. I've been trading for nearly 20yrs straight and have seen this movie before; however, there is a twist this time: global QE. It makes it more difficult but it's all good if u realize the scam. My family, however, is doomed. They refuse to believe the truth.
This buying does have to do with fundamentals, mutual funds, pensions ect are long only, they have to buy, they dont sell. Also companies aren't going to short their own stock and so they buy; they all buy every day automatically.
These make up the large majority of market participants by actual dollar value held so what this means is that the funds would have to start liquidating to bring the market down and there is no reason for that to happen.
During a depression, yep.
No I just think the Shitshow is a fuckin shame, that's all.
The PPT is back from vacation...
How are they going to slam to market down to 17,500 if they don't first push it up over 18,000?
Lather, rinse, repeat. You gold guys have gotten pretty used to this the last few years, now the equity boys get their turn. Without even looking I'm going to guess that Gold is somewhere +-$50 from $1200. Amiright?
You know who we need now? That dorky kid from Channeling Stocks (.com) back on the TV. That would be helpful.
Yes...$1184
"panic buying"... LOL! Is there a Zerohedge dictionary available... comedy gold I tell you.
They didn't invent the term... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panic_buying http://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/panicbuying.asp
"As in 'His panic buying eventually led to a monkeyhammering of epic proportions.' "

My robot says it's all bullshit and to just buy him a tank at "pre WWIII prices".
my AI (the one I haven't registered) is in hiding

Looking at the teaser, I thought the market was up 1000. But, no....
so let me get this straight.
last week, all i heard from msm is how the ''market'' was selling off because it was the end of the quarter and managers wanted to book profits.
Now, still in the same quarter, i guess these so called ''managers'' who wanted to sell the ''market'' now want to buy the ''market'' with 2 days remaining?
somehow i am not buying this shit, but thats just me.
you are not buying? dude, you are soooo missing out
The sad truth is that this can go on for far longer than most ZH'ers would like. 2008 hurt, but it didn't really change much. The next drop will hurt, but it too may not change things a lot. In trading there is an old saying...."the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay liquid"......that gets repeated to beginner traders who are convinced that the market "just can't keep going that direction".
Eventually real life fundamentals tend to catch up......but the economic timeline on this could easily be 5, 10, 20 years from now. We may all be old and too stiff to type our comments, before we see it.
I would like it to go on, but population, religion, military, plans of the elites call for trouble.
AH....so time to raise rates now huh Yellen?
Come on, it's the Shitshow.
"If Open, Then Buy..."
Tylers, this sounds like a really sofisticated algo (have you registerd it?)
I guess buying the dip really works.
Month and quarter end effects. This will continue for a few more days.
Software operational and connected. BTFD.
BULLISH !!
