Bild Reports On "Indisputably Authentic" Video Of Germanwings Final Moments
A video showing the chaotic final seconds on board the Germanwings flight that crashed in the French Alps last week has been discovered near the site, according to Reuters, who note that Germany's Bild daily reported on Wednesday that it had seen the footage. The video, which Bild described as being "indisputably authentic", was reportedly found on a mobile phone belonging to one of the passengers killed on the flight suggested passengers were fully aware of what was happening...
Bild says...
"It comes from the people who were investigating on the site. That is as much as we're going to say about it," he said, adding that a senior French reporter got it from his sources and then "went through the process of verifying it."
"There is no doubt that what we saw are the final seconds of what happened on board," Reichelt said.
As Reuters reports, the scenes seen on the video were chaotic and very wobbly, said Bild, adding screams and shouts of "My God" could be heard in variuous languages, indicating the passengers knew what was happening.
Prosecutor Brice Robin, who is handling the case in France, said none of the mobile telephones collected at the crash site had been sent for analysis.
"All are for now being kept at Seynes-Les-Alpes. If people at the site have picked up mobile phones, I am not aware of it," he told Reuters by telephone. France's BEA investigation authority could not immediately be reached for comment.
On the video, which Bild described as being "indisputably authentic", a banging of metal could be heard at least three times, possibly the sound of the pilot who had been locked out of the cockpit by Lubitz trying to break through the door.
Near the end there was a heavy shake and the cabin tilted sharply to one side. After further screams the video ended, said the paper.
The footage appeared to have been taken from near the back of the plane but no individuals could be identified, said Bild.

"The atmosphere is very chaotic, making it difficult to identify the passengers. But the sound of screaming passengers indicate that they are all aware of the tragedy that will happen."

Lubitz is alone in the cockpit. He locks the armored door with the “Lock” button: it is no longer possible to open the door from the outside. The one can hear the sounds of the automatic pilot being reprogrammed to accelerate the descent, pushing the plane from 38,000 feet (11.000 meters) to 100 feet (30 meters) in a matter of minutes.10:33
The landing begins: the plane drops 3000 feet (900 meters) per minute. Air traffic controllers detect the problem. They try several times to contact the airplane by radio. Lubitz does not respond.
The captain’s voice can be heard as he tries to open the door: “It’s me!” The captain is facing a camera connected to the cockpit: Lubitz sees him on screen but does not react. The captain grabs an oxygen tank or fire extinguisher in order to break down the door.No response from Lubitz. The captain yells: “For the love of God, open this door!”10:34 approximately
A first alarm goes off, audible and visual: “SINK RATE, PULL UP.”
No reaction from Lubitz.
Through the cockpit door, the first sounds of passengers running in the aisles can be heard.10:35
The captain asks for the crowbar hidden in the back of the plane. Louder bangs can be heard hitting the door, followed by metallic sounds. The captain tries to bend the door with the crowbar.10:37 and several seconds
A second alarm is set off, audible and visual: “TERRAIN, PULL UP.” Still no reaction from Lubitz.
The captain yells: “Open this f… door!”10:38
Despite the deafening noises, Lubitz’s breathing can cleary be heard through an oxygen mask he put on. He is breathing normally. The plane is at 13000 feet (4000 meters).10:40
A violent sound can be heard outside. At the same time, inside, screaming. The Airbus hits the mountain with its right wing.
No other sound, save for the alarms and the screaming passengers.10:41

Bullshit if that were really true. All the door engineers would have to be fired, tared and feathered over this. The only area on the plane that is in complete control over plane can be sealed 100% shut and never be opened during flight? That would have never gotten signed off by anyone.
Maybe the door was locked on this plane because it was tempered with. Maybe Lubitz was depressed because he was abducted by CIA and programmed to becoming a sleeper? A programmed killer who could be activated at anytime and who would never speak of his assignment because the CIA threatened something even worse than his own death. Now it makes sense why Lubitz had to take a break from the training and why he was diagnosed. CIA made sure of all that.

A mechanism to override and remotely land a passenger jet is pure fantasy. That would be the biggest security hole ever, and it would be impossible to keep secret in multiple countries where the plane is serviced.

Why the fvck do all we hear time and time again is of the solitary pilot trying to get into the locked cockpit? Were there no real 200-lb+ men on board who would have done a better job than some puny senior pilot? Why was only one person trying to break down the cockpit when a series of good powerful kicks will make most people tired in a few seconds? I have a hard time believing the narrative that everyone was sitting in their seats watching the one pilot trying to enter the cockpit, but based on what i know of most people, it agrees with the narrative that most people are pussies.
YOu cannot tell me, and i refuse to believe, that given the many heavy metal objects on board the aircraft (including the carts) that 150 people wouldn't be able to break down a metal door.

There were some news reports that explored this. They tested similiar post-911 reinforced cockpit doors. They are very very solid, so i beleive the narrative.

The early airbus 320s are known for their extremely loud cockpits. How can you hear breathing over airplane noise? Why cant they hear all the automated audible crash avoidance warning on the recording if they can hear BREATHING? Why have people on seen TRANSCRIPTS of the recorder and not the actual recording? How is it the black box was found but the memory chip was missing??? The black box is designed to withstand 7200 G force. But they found a cell phone SIM card? Riiiiiight.

I am not a civil engineer, and you fail to understand that the door doesn't matter; it's the latch that breaks. There is no doubt in my mind that running starts with the heavy beverage cart would make short work of it. My qualm is why is it only the middle-aged skinny pilot doing the work, and not some bigger man?

There are three power-latches on the door, top center and bottom. There is no going thru it. Mt workout partner flies the A330's to Europe. He is a senior Captain. He is rated for a side arm and he says that even w 9 in the clip he would not be able to force the door. There is a protocol to unlock it but it takes time on the 330's.

This aircraft was equipped with a fly-by-wire system (can be controlled by Sat or NORAD) manufactured by Raytheon.
In this case it's a feature and not a bug.
There is little space with direct access to the door. Your suggestion that people somehow pile against each other is nonsense. No, there is not a door busting fire ax in the cabin.
The beverage cart and running starts. The front of the plane was presumably pointing down due to the planes descending. This would have helped the battering ram hypothesis.

A terrist can torture the flight attendant for the code. There no "safety" that can't be circumvented. The locked safety door became the problem. People have drowned in ditches of water because they couldn't get their seatbelts off. Wearing seatbelts is mandatory. Lufthansa regs do not require 2 in the cockpit at all times. MOst other including all USA carriers do in the jumbo's. IF there is only one officer on the flight deck, then a flight attendent must stand in the doorway keeping the door open.

Thanks. I have noticed this on most US flights. If one of the officers leaves the deck, then an attendent will take place on deck with door locked back. Pretty standard. Can't believe Lufthansa didn't follow this same type policy. What if the pilot/co-pilot were alone with a locked door and then had an incident (heart attack, stroke, seizure, blackout, etc)? This was just a dumb policy.

How many of you heard about the recent Air Canada crash in Halifax? Not too many I'll bet. No one was killed, no heroic ditching into the Hudson, just a missed runway, struck powerlines and a berm which clipped off the landing gear and engines, and then an uncontrolled slide in the snow until the plane stopped. Not even a fire, which is the usual outcome in that kind of crash.
So, why hasn't anyone spun this into a story of hacked flight control on the part of ISIS as revenge for Canada's bombing of their Syrian positions?

Also, has anyone noticed that there is no obvious point of impact in any of the pictures of the crash site?? A plane coming in at 480 mph hitting the ground is going to leave some kind of impact deformation. The way the debris was scattered at the site indicates the plane was destroyed in the air and the debris fell to the ground . . . . .

After the first voice recorder suggested that co-pilot Andreas Lubitz deliberately locked the plane on a collision course with the mountains, the second black could provide more information about the Airbus A320 that crashed in the French Alps last week, French prosecutor Brice Robin told reporters in Marseille on Thursday.
The voice recorder with the conversations between Lubitz and the pilot had been found shortly after the crash on March 24. German co-pilot took the advantage of the captain's absence to lock him out and set the plane on a deadly descent into the Alps.
The Flight data in the second black box contain readings from hundreds of parameters of the Airbus aircraft including any pilot commands.
The Germanwings flight 4U9525 from Barcelona to Düsseldorf crashed into the mountains at a speed of 700 kilometres (430 miles) an hour, killing all 150 people on board.
Meanwhile, German state prosecutors said a computer seized from 27-year-old co-pilot's home showed searches had been made on cockpit doors and their safety precautions as well as suicide methods.
"On at least one day, the person also spent several minutes trying out search terms for cockpit doors and their security protection," German prosecutor Ralf Herrenbrueck said.
German prosecutors have said Lubitz was diagnosed as suicidal "several years ago", before he became a pilot. He informed Lufthansa about his illness in 2009 after interrupting his flight training.
