Tsipras Heads To Moscow As IMF Withdraws Athens Staff; Greek Default Risk Hits Post-Crisis High

Tyler Durden's picture

Amid growing pressure from their 'Troika colleagues' with Eurogroup Chair Dijsselbloem noting there is "still a long way to go" on Greek proposals and The IMF withdrawing its staff in Athens; new prime minister Alexis Tsipras heads to Russia to meet with Putin early next week. As Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov noted - somewhat intriguingly - "Greece has not asked [Russia] for financial aid... yet," as Tsipras is expected to seek agreement for a 'road map' of initiatives on the political and economic levels. Greek default risk has resurged in the last few days to its highest since the last 'restructuring'...

Greek default risk hits post-crisis highs...

With friends like this...

Eurogroup Chairman Jeroen Dijsselbloem said there’s a “long way to go” to strike a deal on Greece’s aid proposals even after the Athens government responded to demands for more detail on its bid to end the deadlock.

“It’s continuously improving,” Dijsselbloem told reporters today in the Hague. “They deliver more and more proposals that are more and more detailed. On some parts, we will definitely reach an agreement.”

and

Is it any surprise, Greek PM Tsipras is pivoting to Russia?

  • *PUTIN, TSIPRAS TO DISCUSS GREEK ECONOMIC SITUATION: PESKOV
  • *PUTIN, TSIPRAS TO DISCUSS EU'S ANTI-RUSSIA SANCTIONS: PESKOV
  • *GREECE HASN'T ASKED RUSSIA FOR FINL AID YET, TALKS AHEAD:PESKOV

As ekthimerini reports, the aides of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the Greek and Russian embassies in Moscow and Athens, are feverishly preparing for a scheduled visit by Tsipras to the Russian capital on April 8 and 9 which the Greek government hopes will serve to significantly upgrade bilateral ties.

According to a well-informed source, Tsipras is expected to seek agreement for a “road map” of initiatives on the political and economic levels.

Talks are expected to touch on several topics of bilateral interest, including “commercial and financial cooperation, investments, energy, tourism and cooperation in matters of education and culture,” according to Tsipras’s office. Other topics on the agenda include “the relationship between Russia and the European Union, as well as regional and international issues.”

Tsipras is expected to emphasize Greece’s respect for its commitments as a member of the European Union and NATO on the one hand while underlining his conviction that the European Union’s “security architecture” should include Russia. Amid European concerns about Greece’s position vis-a-vis EU sanctions against Russia, Greek officials have sought to offer reassurances, suggesting that Athens will not actively oppose the EU line. But sources close to Tsipras said the government will continue to express its disagreement with sanctions as a policy.

As for a likely bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, a high-ranking government source told Kathimerini that Greece “will reassure the Russians, not the Westerners.” According to sources, Energy Minister Panayiotis Lafazanis has already agreed in principle to a proposal made by the head of Russian giant Gazprom, Alexey Miller, for a new gas pipeline through Turkey to be extended through Greek territory. The plan foresees the creation of a consortium in which Greece’s Public Gas Corporation (DEPA) would play a key role along with Russian funds and possibly also European clients of Gazprom, Kathimerini understands.

And irony of ironies, as Greece appears to set to invoke its own capital controls, Cyprus lifts its own capital controls, two years after bailing-in its depositors...

  • *CYPRUS TO LIFT LAST CAPITAL CONTROLS ON APRIL 6
  • *CONFIDENCE IN CYPRIOT BANKING SYSTEM FULLY RESTORED: GOVT

"While nothing will go wrong with Greece, Cyprus has prepared for all possibilities in order to minimize any effects on its economy"

Russia Said to Plan No Aid to Greece, May Ease Curbs on Food

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-04-03/putin-tsipras-to-discuss-eu-s-anti-russia-sanctions-next-week

Russia isn’t considering any financial assistance for Greece before a planned visit to Moscow next week by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, according to three Russian government officials with knowledge of the discussions.

Even so, Russia is ready to discuss easing restrictions on Greek food products, which were imposed as part of retaliation for European Union sanctions levied over the conflict in Ukraine, said two of the three officials, who asked not to be identified because the information is confidential.

It seems that Russia will allow Greece to send more fruits and nuts to Russia.  Could be a trade deal where both lose.

Once the people realize the all of the economic unions are designed to enslave individual countries and their people to debt created out of thin air by a central group of userpers headquartered in a particular country, the act of "loaning a country money from a central source" seems more like an act of war than assistance.

... and somehow Switzerland and the BIS play a huge role. For decades, the BIS has been coming in and enslaving countries with debt after the US and NATO depose their existing leadership. People should be looking more closely at Switzerland as the potential residence of an evil power.

Debt and those who use it as a form or enslavement are the true enemies of the people of this world.

Apparently many things appear to revolve around Switzerland.

See here:

Ten Facts About Switzerland, The Vatican, The CIA (holy C) And "Neutrality" You Are Not Allowed To Know..

After reading about Adnan Sakli (Owner of the Bank of International Settlements) who then died, naturally? I wondered who really owns and controls the world. This link is particularly interesting:

http://www.nyhetsspeilet.no/2013/02/e/

It is quite a long read but well-worth it.

Just before Adnan Sakli died he had a Court case

Sakli v. Deutsche Bank-Board of Governors et al

- Case Number: 6:2012cv00567 Filed: April13,2012 against these people;

Samuel Anthony Alito, Jr., Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Berlin Government, Frankfurt Government, Deutsche Bank -Board of Governors, Bank of America Board of Governors, Wells Fargo Board of Governors, Citi-Board of Governors, HSBC-Board of Governors, Time Warner, Disney, Koffi Annan, Eco Soc, David Rockefeller, Henry Kissenger, George Soros, Soros Fund, King of Spain, The Vatican, Queen of England, Grand Council of the Masons, Northern Trust Corporation, Southern Trust Corporation, John G. Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Anthony M. Kennedy, Clarence Thomas, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen G. Breyer, Jesse Jackson, State of Georgia, Prime Minister of France, Queen of the Netherlands, Beatrice, Prime Minister of Germany, Washington based German Marshal Plan, Joseph Akerman, Council of the Grand Order of the Masons of Washington DC, US Trust Corporation, Secretary of State, President, Head of the Stock Exchange, Mark Weldon, JP Morgan Chase the Governors, Ben Bernanke, Bloomberge, Steve Winne and Council of Foreign Relations

Did/do these people own/control the world (including the corporation that is Greece)? 0000931106 - HELLENIC REPUBLIC

If the above is correct then the whole set-up is fraudulent.

Has anyone got any more info on this Court case. Information has dried-up.

That is just the Central Index Key. Any issuer who wants to sell any sort of SEC registered securities has one.  Basically if you are willing to issue anything tradable in the financial market you must have an ISIN or CUSIP id which means that you need a CIK.  Every issuer of anything has one of those.

Thank you for this information. I know absolutely nothing about this subject as I have never traded (shares, stocks, bonds, dividends, anything). Personally, it looks like a huge casino game that is rigged and I don't want to play. Does the SEC own certifictes? (in much the same way as a Bank owns all deposits)?

I have only come across ISIN, CUSIP, etc... when reading articles about Birth Certificates being 'somehow' traded as Bonds, human chattel, etc... whether any of this is correct, I don't know. However, it makes some sense that a Nations citizens (labour, property, etc...) are used as a method of value, GDP and so forth. What else is left to sell and put up against debt?

I am aware of the ALL CAPS, Capitus Maximus, UCC, Strawman, Cestui Que Vie trust, etc... It also makes sense (not saying I agree with it) that everyone and every Nation is run (possibly traded) as a Corporation. I can quite easily believe Countries and citizens (until age 70) are supposedly owned and traded in this manner. It has always been said, a slave can never own anything. (Birth Cert, Vehicle Licences where you become a Registered Keeper, etc... seem to support this).

I am really interested in hearing anyone elses knowledge of this. Is Greece a Corporation? From the info in my above post, it suggests only Switzerland and The vatican are truely FREE!

Thanks again agent default.

the real value of greece, its lands and sea, its people. russia gets a hard asset warm water base and airfield, land for a pipeline..the greece gets a reset, pays EU nothing (default) ergo no debt problem. now with russia they get a infusion of value for the land, and life goes on with a real exchange of value-that is the important part. value for value, not the EU novalue fiat for debt and slavery. if this happens people may wake up to the con of fiat debt, then it's hell to pay for the west..that is why the FED does not want people to see value in gold if the general population ever did, the fiat game is over.

The only question is 'how much is it worth to the Russians to have a vote inside the EU'. Whether Greece stays in or out you can expect some Russian aid in exchange for pipelines, unofficial bases, etc. And you can expect any NATO 'secrets' to be withheld from Greece. So the question is going to be whether Russia will pay the interest in Euros for the Greek debt so that Greece stays in the EU. My guess is YES - for a while. This will make the Greek people happy, keep Tsipras in power, and let Russia run Greece.
