Thank the Lord (Keynes) for economic hockey-sticks...

 

As Q1 GDP's dismal reality sinks in, Q2 GDP's faith, hope, and insanity surges...

 

Of course none of that compares to The Atlanta Fed's ZERO forecast...

 

As the clever economists at Mitsubishi UFJ noted yesterday with regard the jobs data...

US payrolls seen rebounding in April as weather warms up

In other words, because March was down, April must be up... because otherwise the entire recovery narrative goes FUBAR.

And so it goes with GDP, ISM, and every crappy macro print in the last 2 months... Despite the fact that weather was NOT the problem...

The only problem with the narrative is I have been hearing the sky is going to fall for 55 years. It wobbles a lot but has not fallen yet and dont think it will ever fall and stay down.

The sky is not going to fall, but things under the sky will be quite different when accounting standards are forced on the world by pitchfork. The charade has limits.  I admit I am surprized at how long the shieet show has continued. I hear this same refrain from many smarter folks than I. But.......no one doubts it's going to end badly. When the magnetic strip on the grift card no longer pops the digits, unlock the rifle case.  How long did it take Rome to disentegrate?  I don't know how sane people can can be optimistic?   I could be optimisti'tc if we hit bottom and were going in a positive direction, but this.......this, "the same o same o lame news" is just pathetic MSM spin. 100% sheeple balm.  Yeah, I can think positive. I'm a surviver and not aftraid to get my hands dirty but right now I don't have to use my mental skills on lying to myself that things are great and or will soon be.  And please don't tell me to take advantage of the casino, "stock market".  My best bud was a high roller for a while, he gave it up years ago, now he's a painter earning an honest living.  It's a good thing God is not vengeful becuase we'd be in for a world of fecal.  We've taken it a step further and I don't think he'll stand for all the Keynesian gods mocking him...............

I am fully prepared to be executed in my home by the Islamic State. There is nothing that can stop it. They have a (non-military) police force. They have schools that accept females. They collect taxes and drive new cars (2013 toyotas with friggin machine guns on the back). I have never, or will ever be able to afford a new car, much less the insurance.

Daily beast is a fitting new source, or am I missing something PLaYTiMe?
