Define Irony: Obama Concerned China Using "Size, Muscle" To Bully Other Countries
To be sure, China has had a good couple of months when it comes to projecting their rising superpower status to the rest of the world. Indeed, Beijing’s military made history three times last week alone by agreeing to sell some $5 billion in subs to Pakistan, by getting set to start the country’s first nuclear submarine patrols, and by swooping in to rescue more than 200 evacuees in the embattled Yemeni port city of Aden (and risking armed conflict in the process) in what Reuters notes is “the first time that China's military has helped other countries evacuate their people during an international crisis.”
Of course the biggest coup of all was that represented by the incredible (and somewhat unlikely) success of the country’s AIIB membership drive, which concluded at the end of March and saw everyone who is anyone (country wise) put in a bid to join — everyone but the US and Japan that is.
So in the space of two short months the country has managed to put its growing military prowess on display while simultaneously upending the post World War II economic order by threatening its most entrenched multilateral institutions from which they are now looking to hire — not too bad.
Meanwhile Washington was busy doing what Washington does when it comes to foreign policy: propping up one puppet government (in Ukraine) both financially and militarily while simultaneously switching on the damage control after a previously propped up puppet regime (in Yemen) was overthrown, bombing groups of marauding Middle Eastern militants (who may or may not have been trained by the CIA at one time or another) from the stratosphere, and explaining to the rest of the world how dangerous Vladimir Putin (still) is.
And we forgot to mention: conducting ridiculously transparent campaigns to undermine Chinese ambition. Here’s Reuters:
President Barack Obama said on Thursday the United States is concerned China uses its "sheer size and muscle" to push around smaller countries in the South China Sea.
His comments come after China defended its construction of artificial islands in the SouthChina Sea, saying it is needed to safeguard its sovereignty in the mineral-rich waters where China's territorial claims overlap those of Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan.
"Where we get concerned with China is where it is not necessarily abiding by international norms and rules and is using its sheer size and muscle to force countries into subordinate positions," Obama told town-hall event in Jamaica ahead of a Caribbean summit in Panama, where he hopes to reassert U.S. leadership in Latin America.
"We think this can be solved diplomatically, but just because the Philippines or Vietnam are not as large as China doesn't mean that they can just be elbowed aside."
Yes, using “size and muscle to force other countries into subordinate positions,” something the US would never do and never has done. Well, besides when Washington does things like bully nations with no standing army into supporting a unilateral invasion of a sovereign country under false pretenses and then, to add insult to injury, has the almost inconceivable nerve to call the cobbled together support group a “coalition of the willing.”
This is truly the definition of irony.

Watching Jamaicans fawn over Obama was kind of like watching kindergarden kids fawning over a pedophilic principal visiting their class. Its a sin really but there is no waking them up, nature will just have to take its course, the country has lost any semblence of sovereignty due to IMF debt and is progressing nicely and unawares towards the NWO agenda.

Philippines and Vietnam are not ready or able for a war. It's when the core states of SEA (Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore) finally decide they've had enough of what China's doing (shoving airbases up their nose within their own quite reasonable territorial boundary limit claims) that China is in for some real heat and a combined front showdown with most of the big SEA states involved. Kinetic removal will be plonked on the table, the ingredients are all coming into alignment.
The US is setting up to capitalize on that as it's a strategic no brainier, no way they won't be providing all the military support necessary here. If the Chinese fleet make attacks on SEA states this can activate the ANZUS Alliance (which is a naval alliance which would bring in the US Pacific Fleet in a combat role), plus the Five Powers Defense Arrangements, as well as several separate security agreements between Australia and several key SEA states, the details of which have mostly never been publicly disclosed presumably to preserve relations with countries that might become a problem, and the agreements were directed at countering. What we do know is that if those states (like Indonesia for instance) were ever attacked by an external SEA power, Australia has committed to a response up to and including combat. If Australia is at war the US will be too. So there are several trigger mechanisms for very rapid escalation if the Chinese make a wrong move in the SCS. If the Five Powers arrangements are triggered the UK is also obliged to respond, so core NATO states immediately become involved too. This situation can blow up far bigger and far faster than most people currently expect.
You only have to look at a map of the Chinese SCS territorial claim (basically all of it) and where the bases are being built (in the far south right up against several SEA states) to realize this is going to end up with SEA states declaring a naval and air exclusion zone to all Chinese ships and aircraft operating within a defined boundary within the south of the south china sea. At which point if the Chinese do not desist and leave the area, within an allotted time frame, ships will be sunk and military aircraft in the area shot down, while regional trade flows will be forced to divert around, or even bypass the area. A lot of pressure can be applied by SEA here, and it's very foolish for China to invite that, as they will regret the day they got SEA thinking and operating in that way. Beijing claims to not want conflict, but its current actions are guaranteed to produce it.
Some might want to euphamistically think of this psychopath's statements as, 'irony.' To me it sounds like something from a madman, who actually believes that his audience is clueless. I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that Barack Obama, John Kerry and bibi Netanyahu are certifiable. They're stark raving bloody lunatics. The sooner they're locked in padded cells, the better for the rest of us.
