Viva Kremlin! Called it, if I only had retained earnings to do this one---
Speculators say, "thanks Sanctions!"
Buy Rubles, Bitchez!
we isolated some folks
Soon to be ourselves. USSA! USSA! USSA!
Russia retires $100 Billion in USD debt, and exchanges rubles for dollars at 80 to 1 or better in December, earning tens of billions on Forex profits.
Meanwhile the Ukies have the worst performing currency in the world. On the good news front, most of the Oligarchs lost money, and a few are bankrupt. On the bad news front for Ukies, their whores on a PPP basis are the cheapest in Europe, if you don't mind AIDS.
the russians have solid economic fundamentals. their biggest problem is western banking cartel that insists on keeping them down.
but their power is waning, and the balance of power is rapidly changing in this world.
I do like their flat tax system ,, less so their gorwing facist/marxist system
They have a lot of turnips that they are trying to get blood out of over there. Welcome to socialism/communism/Marxism.
No way I am long commodities with that currency rallying.
Plus the Russian economy has totally collapsed.
Massive deflation coming out of "Eurasia." Probably for at least a decade or more.
Reality is only a problem if you pay attention to it. Russia has some real problems but they are mostly self-contained. The USA and the EU however are doing their best to spread the coming disaster out so everybody can play.....
You know this because CNN or FAUX news told you so right?
After losing half it's value last year.
Those stopped out on the trade should rejoice?
It's "surging."
"Since Lehman"®
Well, This article ought to bring out Andy Lack's new 15 million taxpayer dollar anti-russian trolls.
waiting for trolls to hijack this thread with their inane logic and ofcourse youtube links . Not to forget usa funded media outlets .
Once upon a time, the Euro was seen as a competitor to the USD. This allowed, or was exploited by, the banksters to pump and dump it. I hope they aren't running the same scam again.
Boys, find yourself a nice Russian gal, get a red passport, buy a sheep farm, learn Russian, read Tolstoy, relax, eat, drink, screw and be merry.
Also, expats can own firearms and carry concealed weapons.
And you can call a faggot a faggot and pay a flat 10% tax.
Hell, they even acknowledge Radical Islamic Terror and the Arab SWFs are still buying rubles!,
Bonus : Jesus is considered cool.
What does one do when the nice Russian gal turns into your standard, squatty, fire-hydrant-shaped, 250 pound, Russian toad who dies her hair blazing Ronald McDonald red?
Are you sure you want talking about the USA's pajama wearing Walmart welfare "women?"
What does one do in the U.S. when his gal turns same...?
"when the nice Russian gal turns into your standard, squatty, fire-hydrant-shaped, 250 pound, Russian toad who dies her hair blazing Ronald McDonald red?"
I think it is more like American propaganda. I have met some elderly Russian ladies here and they have aged very well.
But you're right. That would never happen to the American girls. They must be the skinniest in the world. Like that doll Hillary or Janet.
When 80 years old you are, look that good you will not.
your women sure ain't no damn oil paintings....
better worry about your own country
Visit. Attend Matchmaker Socials.
'nuff said.
>> Also, expats can own firearms and carry concealed weapons.
Rifles yes; good luck ever getting a handgun / concealed carry permit because that's just not happening.
There's a tax on using the word faggot?
yeah yeah yeah, what does Jay carney have to say about this.
can I trade those iraqi dinars for russian rubles and become a instant millionaire?
lol
P < P + I
Everyone knows that eunichs like Obama, Cameron or Merkel can't harm Russia - and people also appreciate a country with almost no debt.
who's the genius who thought crashing oil and the ruble would hurt the Russians. Sell!! Sell!! NOOOO!! BUY!! BUY!!
Somebody turn the machines back on!
Pop quiz tyler.
What is [30/70 x 70/50] - 1
Interest rates in russia are 15% IIRC. What are they in America? Oh yea, ZIRP forever. lol! This wasn't difficult to predict, and it doesn't seem to be changing any time soon.
That's because inflation is 16.9% in Russia.

Go Putin. Now how about putin some bucks into getting the NWO off our backs.
"Nothing goes down in a straight line", just saying. Russia isn't out of the woods yet, nor has the dollar ascent ended. We might see it drop back down before long.
Still.. I like Russia long term. Apparently other people do too.
Russia is in the business of doing business...
Now, Where have I heard that before?
Oh yeah,,, they used to say that about the land that these days say "You didn't build that".
It's TPTB reward for Russia selling out Yemen and Ukraine (sans Donbass for the time being) to NWO.
That's a great big F-U to all the Hasbara trolls at ZH and the zionist scum the world over. Bring on the purge.
That's "costs" for you.
Could it be all that gold they were buying up recently?
Huge, huge amounts of gold went into Russia.
That plus setting up great trade pacts with many other countries.
Tried to tell ya, Russians play chess for fun, bitchez!
You know, corporate media made great play of the ruble collapse, even though many other currencies were also falling. Like when do you get a news story on Ukraine's currency? But the ruble story was everywhere, to make Obama look like a foreign policy genius. Obama was single handedly destroying Russia's currency.
Russia has hundreds of billions of reserves. 400 billion plus or minus. Russia earns hard foreign currency every hour of the day. Russia has large and growing gold stocks. Russia has no budget deficit. When the oil price fell and ruble fell, the Russian Government did what no Washington DC governmetn would ever do, they rapidly cut government spending across the board by 10% to keep their budget in surplus! 10%, government workers were let go, projects cancelled, even military spending was pared back, with fewer new 5th generation fighters being contracted for. Every agency in Russian government was cut. Can you imagine THAT! Cutting government spending in order to maintain fiscal solvency? Yes, Russia is capitalist. Not the Soviet USA, money printing and pork barrel spending, and social welfare for all!
Correctamundo! Jack.
Even Putin took a pay cut,,, I know,,, I know,,, He's a Quadrillionaire but at least he did the right thing.
American's refuse to accept any cut to government spending and hand outs. Putin just said, "Money is tight right now, every body takes a cut!"
That is why even foreign people can respect Putin. He does what needs to be done.
Note that even Newsweek had this to say :
" Not only is Putin still standing, but the Russian economy, against most expectations, is recovering. Its stock market is one of the best performing globally this year; the ruble, after losing nearly half its value against the dollar over the course of a year, is rebounding; interest rates have come down from their post-sanctions peak; the government is taking in more revenue than its own forecast expected; and foreign exchange reserves have risen nearly $10 billion from their post-crisis low."
Amazing coming from Newsweek. The editors must have been gritting their teeth.
Well said, Jack Burton. After having bought RSX and Russian Bonds, I am smiling ear to ear, earning generous coupons and sitting on tasty capital gains. Anyone who believes and trusts the USSA bankster state deserves to get fleeced.
Ho Li Fook! Newspeak, I mean Newsweek said that???
He took a 10 pct cut, then looked around and said "I expect the rest of the government to do likewise." They all coughed but acquiesced.
Nice to have a scary reputation when it comes to providing an example for the bureaucrats. He doesn't have to do a thing, just give people "the look."
VV Putin has never been about money
@Jack Burton
You're analysis regarding Russia's economy and the ruble is precisely right in my humble redneck opinion.
FWIW
hairball
I concur, Sir Jack.
Even IF the Banking Cartel would be able to "Isolate" RUS's Currency Reserves/Trade Settlement Schemes, Team_RUS can easily BARTER their way out and around the Embargo.
Painful in the short run, this is not exactly weakening Russian economy in terms of forward debt/GDP and other debt-linked ratios.
There will be costs..... actually there won't be , these people are fast learners. Long term all the costs will be the US. Look, if you trust someone with normal global transactions, and then one day that person (idiot) goes and pulls the rug and stands there laughing at your impending doom, then you're never going to trust that person (idiot) again are you. Everything you do will be to prevent that person (idiot) ever having any hold over you again. And to do the same back to them one day....
I be celebrating when the RUB slices through the 45 handle. (kisses plutonium mezuzah)
