Bloomberg Service Now Fully Restored
Good news for Citadel's latest employee: Bloomberg service is now fully restored.
"Service has been fully restored. We experienced a combination of hardware and software failures in the network, which caused an excessive volume of network traffic. This led to customer disconnections as a result of the machines being overwhelmed. We discovered the root cause quickly, isolated the faulty hardware, and restarted the software. We are reviewing our multiple redundant systems, which failed to prevent this disruption."
Which is great news for hedge fund trader and erstwhile Brookings blogger, Ben Bernanke, who can now put his customized keyboard to full use...
... As he tries to recreate his old Federal Reserve desktop.

See?
Everything will be OK by tomorrow
Bloomberg: "You're fired, you're fired, you're fired! And you Shlomo, I don't care how kosher you are, you will be fired too if you make another mistake."
I wish Bloomberg never existed. It is another no-good, lying place without any good looking bimbos.
At least, CNN can keep their rating for a while. Their bimbos could always take off their panties and brasiers off.
"Hey guys, the whorehouse is open again"
It was the plumbing! Damn plumbing.
I love my Bloomberg crack!
multiple redundant systems......lol. there are none. just bloomberg extracting every shekel and ounce of blood from the system, nothing more. welcome to business 101. this is why no retailer has any firewalls in place. shit happens pay a few shekels and then extract more shekels to the power of ten.
oh shut up, creep.
Now Lib33_Benzo69@bloomberg.com just sent the signal to:
"Buy everything."
Didn't see any articles on Bloomberg.com about this... must not have been a noteworthy story.
Which congress critter will blame Russia first?
I'll say Harry Reid since he won't see eye to eye.
(On no I didn't!)
Black Swan was the thug that beat Harry blind
Hey, just as long as somebody did.
Now hows about the rest of them assholes?
It's obvious who is behind this nefarious deed:
"Several [brand new] North Korean passports were found in the Broomberg computer room...."
Game on!
Whonder when we see the Yellen JoyStick.
Gonna need a Costco pack of wet wipes to keep that thing clean...
..... The ( Joy ) strap is in the mail.
Obviously Russians or North Koreans. Taking away some more basic civil liberties, that will solve it.
Whew! Now I can once again access objective analysis on the value of gold, delivered just in time for for the paper market open.
Last night, I dreamed the Chinese started using their corner on the gold market to start raising the price and there was a Bloomberg article that said it was "ridiculous and unfair for the tiny 1% of the gold market that is physical trading to control the other 99% of the market where the professionals were trying to operate".
Kind of strange....I bet there is more to this story......
Thank God, now the market can get back to normal and go up.
The boys at Citadel are working OT to make Edward Quince as comfortable as possible...
Citidel was just re-wiring the connections to front run all bloomberg news flow...Done
The great thing about the failure of multiple redundant backups is you know the failure was caused by a deliberate act.
Ctrl+Alt+Del always works for me too!
The eye of Sauron blinked...
Skynet does not compute.
Bloomberg Blackout= Reset Servers and new HFT platforms. Need to front run all short orders before casino opens.
What a fraudulent market it has become.
No experienced Systems or Network Engineer will believe that story. But we shoudlnt let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Clearly some massive sell orders have overwhelmed the system. Someone is anxious to get out before SHTF in casino land.
Why are stocks still red today? It is Friday.
They're back, and hammering gold and silver. All's well.
Thanks, Baboonberg!
The old "combination of hardware and software failure" excuse. Data storm on the internal network? - Ned
Confidence and Bloomberg fully restored, Victory Bitchez.
