It's been my experience that certain Christian sects, such as the Southern Baptists, interpret scripture in a way that sees the creation of Isreal in 1948 as a fulfillment of ancient prophecy. They do not recognize for the cynical use of power by the monied interests to use the nation state as a wedge in the region that can be used to exploit the ME for oil.
So, these folks actually support Isreal's every move and cannot accept any criticism of Israel. As kchrisc points out, the Jews will become believers in Christ during or after the 'great tribulation', and thus will be saved since they are God's chosen people. Kind of a reconciliation of Christianity and Judaism at the end of time.
Religious beliefs aside, these people tend to support the neo-con ideas and actions because of their views on Isreal. I would argue that neo-cons are not necessarily Christian (as can be seen from the many Jewish neo-cons), but they certainly know how to manipulate certain sects into accepting anything Israel says or does.
Think of Hillary Clinton supporters. Do they support Hillary because she is the best candidate and has a record beyond reproach? No, but she is loyal to all Fabian Socialist dogma, and it's her turn, so they put the blinders on and rally behind her. The reason I harp on Zion and Zionism is that the problem for West, but especially for the American country and people, is not only the government and their tyranny, but the outside controllers of the government and tyranny.
To understand our true condition, and how we may fix it, we must be able to see, hear, and understand those that control the tyranny of the government for their benefit. We, the American people, are locked into a system of grift that robs us of our labor and product and transfers it to those well above those that appear to be calling the shots.
So-called elections are a good place to start. If you don't see Zion, then you might think that elections are "stolen," or manipulated, or that the best candidate wins. When you see Zion, you see that they select who they desire and make it so. So those not seeing Zion are easily distracted by talk of "stolen" elections, "illegals" voting, morality scandals, etc. 2008 is the quintessential example of this--it was all theater for the masses.
Those that don't see Zion, don't see the strings, and so then fall for the puppet show. Those of us that see Zion, see the strings and follow the strings not the puppets. As a result we know why things are happening, and in come cases, what is going to happen, or at least the "trend" before hand. Do you see the show, or the puppets?
When you see Zion, and keep your eyes on Zion, you see the big picture, and can stay out of the muddle below, and have clarity about what is really going on. You understand why what is being done or said, is being done, or said.
One of my favorite examples is the Paris false-flag.
