FWIW, on the MSM, Hillary talked about the effective tax rates that hedge fund managers, nurses, and truck drivers pay in her most recent tripp in the scooby mobile. Personally I've always marveled at how someone weariing a red badge can promote something only someone with a blue badge would put Forward and not be tarred & feathered or otherwise lynched in the public square. There is nothing remotely "American" in supporting alphabet bureaucracies within the Deep State who's sole purpose is infringing on the peoples liberty or otherwise obligating them to choose between the lesser of two evils and Kristolnacht has done that his entire life.
So have many others on the "right", from George Will saying perhaps there is common ground to "regulate" the Second Amendment (there is not nor ever will be) to David Brooks mindlessness on keeping parts of ObamaCare (no, it deserves to be burnt while roasting hot dogs over it) to pick any other "pundit" or opinion shaper.
When the default position is individual liberty & personal responsibility things are clearer.
Thats why it is puzzling to me that the uber-statist Kristol would support Cruz who, as we all know according to the yapping dogs of the Punditry Class, personally caused the federal governments shut down, in my estimation a very good thing as it showed what the people could actually live without paying for.
Kristol is a wolf in sheeps clothing, always has been, just like Noonan and the rest.
