Aangezien de Britse premier David Cameron in een verkiezingsstrijd zit, hebben de Duitse bondskanselier Angela Merkel en de andere Europese leiders besloten om nog steeds niet te gaan hervormen naar het DAB-systeem. De Luxemburger Jean-Claude Juncker vond het namelijk slimmer om eerst de Griekse regering nog verder in het nauw te brengen. Gisteren kwamen Europese leiders met spoed bijeen op de EU-top om praktische maatregelen te formuleren, waarmee nieuwe rampen moeten worden voorkomen. Natuurlijk kent Brussel de beweegredenen van asielzoekers om naar Europa te komen. Amnesty International heeft inmiddels de conclusie getrokken dat Brussel de 'beweegredenen van de asielzoekers' probeert te beïnvloeden door de Grieken nog verder te vernederen.

Everyday, William reminds us that we are surrounded by assholes in his artisticlly clever ways. Speaking of assholes on a more local level. You know, local assholes that surround each and everyone of us seemingly at all times. You don't have to look very hard to find someone being an asshole. In fact, there is probably an asshole within fifty yards of you right now and if you are reading this comment on a smart phone while driving then you are the asshole. Put your fucking phone away already for Christ's sake. I won't answer my phone while driving and I barely text. In fact I have never even downloaded an app. What the hell for? I still wear wristwatches. I am a Luddite.
Some assholes you can't do anything about but some assholes you can do something about. I was on the way home from work 15 minutes ago and there is a guy in a wheelchair, (non-motorized) trying to cross the 4 lane street. Do you think anyone would stop for him? Fuck no! I was at a stop sign T-intersection looking to enter traffic and here was this disabled guy stuck on the center line and he couldn't move because no motorists would yield. People were driving by far too closely and not even slowing down. I'm sitting there in my car watching this unfold but not for long it was just too wrong. I put my car in neutral, set the parking brake, got right out of the car and walked right out in traffic to get the fuckers to stop. I stopped traffic so he could finish crossing. I didn't push him across because that could be insulting as though he was in the way in the first place but I walked with him until he was clear. He said, "Thank You" to me. I got back in my car and came home.
I do these sorts of things all of the time but I'm still the sucker. No one ever helps me out when I need help but maybe one day someone will. I'll even pick up hitchikers. They don't know I have a loaded Saturday Night Special in my pocket. A couple of years back I even paid for a family of four to get to NoDak I found standing on a street corner. I had never seen them before so I knew they weren't pro panhandlers and had two young kids. The story made sense so I took them to the bus station and paid the remainder of their fare to their intended destination. I don't know who they were but I know where they ended up at least for a while. They were in tough financial shape but they were going there for work because there was a job offer. Who knows, this sort of hardship can happen to good people and these folks asked if they could pay me back. No. I told them that if things work out for them and they see someone who needs a little help that they help those people who actually need it. Don't be a sucker.
That is my form of socialism and it is at my descretion whether or not to intervene or not do anything at all. I alone make the decision and not bloated .gov mandate filled with all sorts of other shit and laws and regulations and stipulations and kickbacks to here and there and who knows where. Then you simply end up with fines and fees and penalties and more taxes to justify .gov.. You also end up with central fucking banks who manage to rob everyone involved. Fuck that. That shit is not right at all. Let's be honest here, these people are not helping anyone in real terms, they are helping themselves because the only person they really care about is themselves. They have no empathy and no honor at all.
The Russians have a proverb, "The fish rots from the head down." I have to say we know that there is rot at the top but it is permeating all the way down to regular folks who are now so self-important that they can't even let a disabled guy in wheelchair cross the street? Seriously? Why can't we yield to a a guy in a wheelchair? I would like to be optimistic but I can't be because if there would have been a cop behind me you damned well know I would gotten several fines, fees and penalties for doing what I did. I know I broke the law but what is anyone going to do about it? The donutstapo brigade can fuck off because I did the right thing AND got a "Thank You" for it. My conscience is clear.
This World needs a lot more like you to make it a friendly place to live.

Seriously, if I were Greece I would simply be looking at default as a negotiating tactic at this point. Do it for a week or two. Only then will they truly know what negotiating leverage they have. Unlike chopping off your foot to escape a trap, nothing that is done can’t be undone under financialism. It’s all just endless negotiations.

It is difficult to avoid Greek dishes or food items.
The Yanks subsituted the French Fries with Freedom Fries. It made an impression all over the world. It meant to scare of the French and it worked! The French are good allies again.
What can Germans make of "Greek Salad" and isn't the main ingredient "Feta" the epidemy of Greek cheese? I'm torn because I love me some Feta and Greek olives.
