Broken, completely irreversibly broken.
Thanks Fed
The Tylers moving markets!! It's like an inverted fight club.
Can't say I didn't warn them to lay off the spoofers . Now look what they've done !
who doesn't a love a market that goes up every day regardless of revenue or profits.
There are no "markets".
No price discovery.
No understanding of risk.
Not even any "money".
There's only MANIPULATION.
I used to believe it was manipulation. But when you step back and see that All the Global markets are UP. S&P FTSE DAX CAC etc. and at all time highs.. It's because all of the world central banks our trying to outprint each other, and therefore you have a tremendous amount of global $$ looking for a place to park. So it's actually global funds that create these strange distortions, not the Fed or manipulation.
It's indirect manipulation cause fund managers can do nothing else but keep buying stocks when it's the only game in town.
What a collective freak out it's gonna be when the music stops however!
Maybe that's the indirect result of xyz. Manipulation means direct control. I think they've lost control if they ever had any. Money moves around the globe like never before. Economies are not local, as one country turns down the money flows out from there and onto another. I think we'll start seeing this more directly as countries begin to fail one by one.
Uh, the Fed is a world central bank and members of the Fed have publicly stated that much of their policy is geared toward ensuring the market doesn't go down, so that would seem to me to the definition of a manipulated market.
I don't know when or how it's going to happen, but the central banks are going to absolutely lose control of this thing and when that happens, Armageddon is going to seem like a walk in the park.
If there is a "world central bank" it's the IMF, not the Fed. They're gonna need the IMF to bail them out.
The Bank of International Settlements is the entity that runs the banking cabal.
Everything catches air from Libor, which is for all practical purposes, a fixed, cartel driven function.
Expectation of crApple earnings.

Times like these are confirmed BCEs, Bagholder Creation Exercises
I freelance over th? internet and earn about 80-85$ an hour. I was without a job for 7 months but last month my paycheck with big fat bonus was $15000 just working on my computer from my home for 5-6 hours. Here's what i have been doing... www.globe-report.com
Witnessing the death of a currency never grows old, but it sure can carry on for a lot longer than I expected.
Must be nice having all the software.
Still in the "fueling" stage of exploding the $.
No rate increase! QE4 marinating in Yellen's fridge at the FED! Treasury firing up the grill!
Don't worry Wall Street! We will feed you! Ah...the smell of barbecued taxpayer...

Airplane in every driveway!
Bullshit, the world's only inexhaustable commodity.....
Yea and that bullshit is so overpriced there isn't enough money in the entire world to feed its endless appetite!
Too bad we can't grow mushrooms in it.
At this rate Chicken Mc Nuggets be the only protein source that the middle class will be able to afford.
I'd rather try my luck with alpo.
you can afford that? Dog kibbel is pretty reasonable about under a $1/lb
Dinky Di brand, the canned dog food of the apocalypse. And it's durable.
anthrax, nuclear bomb, people dying in the streets, zombie Apocalypse....doesn't really make a difference...just up and up and away.
Zombie apocalypses create moar broken windows. Moar broken windows means moar bidness. So,......... BTFD or BTFATH....., just buy, buy, buy.
I'm Paul Krugman and I approved this message.
Tylers,
Please post company results, rightly or wrongly (sic) they have an impact (e.g. today).
This 'market' is fucked.
DavidC
Why? They are just as manipulated as the "markets".
If only we had a real market. If only...
everything is so awesome
Wall street is starting to call the Fed's bluff on rate hikes.
Expect more green shoots even with bad economic data.
+1000.
What's amazing is so many consider this f*ck fest a market. They use charts, claim this or that but all they need to do is BTFATH
Gee, 'investing' has never been so EASY!
This is going to work until it dosent.
Then, all the terrible, that only a war can fix.
The fascist powers that be need capitalism to go up like the encore of a fireworks show in order to blame capitalism which isn't capitalism at all as to give more power to the fascist dictatorship who ruined capitalism for the fascist monopoly!
They already have the speeches written!
so easy a cave man could do it
So easy even a valley chick can do it. :-)
bad news is good news
S&P 2500 by year end. (Yes, I have raised my target from 2300... because).
clearly the fault of the weather, which is controlled by the Dark Lord Putin.
Nothing more immigrants to the US and EU won't fix, mind ye.
Money moving out of USD$ denominated crap.
Sends USD$ denominated crap higher.
Government buys the gap.
Pension bagholders.
And people used to laugh at me when I said one day we would have vehicles that defy gravity.
This is fight club and it's spelled "bitchez! Oh yeah, bold it an italicize it too. Like this: "bitchez!" That way we know you are serious.
Have a nice day..... bitch!
inverse or perverse?
No suprise here. The Fed wants the markets higher. End of story.
"A wise central banker told me I should learn to live with central banks being the dominant force in the market, whether I like it or not."
Well, they might want markets higher but at least they tell you whats going on. I guess if you want to jump into this circle jerk called the stock market then have at it.
Just don't be the last one to drop your load or you'll be the one eating the cookie.
Latest forecast
The GDPNow model forecast for real GDP growth (seasonally adjusted annual rate) in the first quarter of 2015 was 0.1 percent on April 24, unchanged from April 16. The real GDP growth nowcast ticked up to 0.2 percent on April 22 when that morning's existing home sales release from the National Association of Realtors boosted the model's nowcast of residential investment growth. The GDP growth nowcast fell back to 0.1 percent this morning as the durable goods manufacturing report from the U.S. Census Bureau reduced the nowcasts of both equipment and inventory investment.

Thanks for that link!
I mentioned "circle jerk" above?
A. circle jerk
(n) When a group of males surround an edible object (usually a cracker) and proceed to masturbate. The last one to ejaculate must, by rule, consume the edible object.
(n) see also sausage fest
At last month's circle jerk, Bob was forced to eat the cracker
B. To kneel in a circle with others and pleasure oneself. Also refers to a pompous, self-congratulatory discussion where little to no progress is made.
1. (v) Several men standing in a circle masturbating.
-Urban legend says sometimes a piece of bread is placed in the middle. The last person to cum on the bread has to eat it.
2. (adj) A description of a ridiculous situation.
Any "news" sends the market up. The un-fed made it clear that if they need to they will buy individual stawks across the board.
It's about wall street, main street can colaspe into a steaming pile of shit. Who cares. Jack Yellen sez ...fuck'um they should have accumulated assets!
ZH readers = all economic losers.
Wait until cashless society crushes gold once and for all (good luck selling gold in a cashless society).
Cashless society ? In the USA maybe. But Usa is not the whole world !
So there is a Putin......isolated?? And a China...about 50% world population.... also isolated?
Well these guys accept gold.
Stupid ZH. You said it wouldn't happen but here it is: decoupling!
