In 2010, when Barack Obama said, "I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money," he definitely wasn't referring to the Clintons.
Because it wasn't enough for Bill Clinton to sell sensitive missile technology to the Red Chinese for campaign donations. It wasn't enough for Hillary Clinton to sell America's most valuable nuclear technologies to the Russians for "contributions" to her family's personal piggy bank.
That piggy bank, otherwise known as "The Clinton Global Graft Initiative", had an interesting way of doling out the "contributions" it received.
The Clintons are a malignant tumor on the body politic. They have a history of doing anything for money -- including selling out their own country -- and when it comes to their personal bank accounts, there's apparently never enough zeroes.

It has been perhaps 15 years - but I was working for a very wealthy guy. We were a startup and he was the funding. I was a grunt - but we got along very well. There was a time when I was sitting at his desk and a call came in from a current senator / former govenor seeking campaign contributions. My employer smiled and said OK - but you have to come here to pick up the check. The guy showed up later that afternoon.

I would be willing to wager that the "unknown" part of that $425 million is about $350 million...As a side bet, I bet they paid for daughter Chelsea's wedding through the foundation, amongst other things.
That pie chart has too big a slice of green, it is after all only 15%.
A lot of these foundations and 'helping' organizations spend nearly everything given to them in salaries and fund-raising. I was shocked a couple years ago when I heard that Bob Dole's wife (Lizzy) got over $500,000 a year to run Red Cross. And of the billion of so collected for 9/11 victims, only a small percent ever reached the victims or their survivors. Best to pick an organization with mostly direct aid workers like Team Rubicon (vets going to disaster areas), or given to your local organizations no affiliated with a big national (overhead) organization.
Most of our stuff is setup to go to the shriners. I am not a shriner but my father-in-law was and he was probably one of the most decent people I have encountered. Now that we have Mexican wills - it was intersting to learn that there is a Shriners hospital in Mexico City, They are our primary benificary.

I worked for the Red Cross for 2 years when I was in college. They are 100% all about the money. They know how much money they can make off of every program. Even if a class is making a profit, if it falls short of their projections, management gets crafty with hidden charges, reduced quality, lowered standards, or flat out tells lies. My immediate supervisor loudly argued that cutting 2 days class time off of our courses was grossly irresponsible, and she was let go less than a week later.
The Red Cross is not a charity, it is just another big business with some real slick PR.
We give directly to the Salvation Army. Not for the church stuff, but because they have the lowest overhead of any charitable organization. That and, from personal experience, they are the first ones on the scene of a disaster. Not the red cross, though the red cross gets the media. The Salvation Army is charity to immediate neighbors, unless you make a specific donation for some event like the earthquake in Nepal.
