Years ago, I worked in an east coast factory. I noticed, even then, black leaders were always trying to start something. Another thing, most of the blacks were better people than most of the whites.
Many whites resisted civil rights for blacks, less due to actual racism, then due to fear of competition. We had enjoyed some success and felt entitled to keep it. When they threw in affirmative action it just hardened that attitude. Now after decades of indoctrination to suppress racism, they have successfully implanted a white guilt in many younger people, while also instilling a sense of entitlement in blacks. Most whites growing up in the sixties and seventies believed in equality and were willing to give Black's the benefit of the doubt, but as we have seen a continual push towards, not equality but apparent retribution, we are pulling back. We have gone along with the welfare and affirmative action programs as we have followed this line of guilt. Foolishly we thought there would be a leveling off, an eventual acceptance of MLK's dream of a world where we would be judged by our character and not our skin color but those who have harnessed their wagons to the racism engine are not about to let the notion of equality EVER exist. They will strive to keep black people dependent and in full acceptance of their roles as the entitled. Whites will have to accept their seat at the back of the bus or else resist.
