The Baltimore Riots: The Stunning Comments By Orioles Owner's Son
The day after violent protests left Baltimore burning in the wake of a funeral held for Freddie Gray who died after sustaining a spinal injury while being taken into policy custody, Americans are struggling to explain how the events that transpired on Monday evening are possible in modern day America. While most are united in their condemnation of indiscriminant violence, many still feel a palpable sense of injustice after witnessing multiple instances of alleged police misconduct over the past year.
In this context we present the following culled from Twitter messages posted by Orioles Executive Vice President John Angelos, son of majority owner Peter Angelos:
“Brett, speaking only for myself, I agree with your point that the principle of peaceful, non-violent protest and the observance of the rule of law is of utmost importance in any society. MLK, Gandhi, Mandela, and all great opposition leaders throughout history have always preached this precept. Further, it is critical that in any democracy investigation must be completed and due process must be honored before any government or police members are judged responsible.
That said, my greater source of personal concern, outrage and sympathy beyond this particular case is focused neither upon one night’s property damage nor upon the acts, but is focused rather upon the past four-decade period during which an American political elite have shipped middle class and working class jobs away from Baltimore and cities and towns around the U.S. to third-world dictatorships like China and others, plunged tens of millions of good hard-working Americans into economic devastation, and then followed that action around the nation by diminishing every American’s civil rights protections in order to control an unfairly impoverished population living under an ever-declining standard of living and suffering at the butt end of an ever-more militarized and aggressive surveillance state.
The innocent working families of all backgrounds whose lives and dreams have been cut short by excessive violence, surveillance, and other abuses of the Bill of Rights by government pay the true price, an ultimate price, and one that far exceeds the importance of any kids’ game played tonight, or ever, at Camden Yards. We need to keep in mind people are suffering and dying around the U.S., and while we are thankful no one was injured at Camden Yards, there is a far bigger picture for poor Americans in Baltimore and everywhere who don’t have jobs and are losing economic civil and legal rights, and this makes inconvenience at a ball game irrelevant in light of the needless suffering government is inflicting upon ordinary Americans.”
Not exactly what the US Department of Truth wanted to hear.

Someone angling for Tyler's job?
John gets it. Beware of nail guns John.
and hot tubs
He didn't say Obama was flamer, like Joan Rivers did. He might be spared.
lol
Son of an outrageously wealthy trial lawyer speaks. No self-interest here.
He is exactly right with the comments. These are the type of sentiments to build a revolution on when the time comes. These issues effect everbody, black, white, brown, whatever. Great words sir!
As noted here.
Wait a minute, let me channel John Angelos for a second.
I think it's outrageous how patently offensive the Retards are!
John Angelo for President!
He is exactly wrong. He is begging Janet for moar bailout to support his dying live entertainment & overpriced-concession service Potemkin-village gambling-fixed prop enterprise and his problems are entirely currency-driven, along with the rest of us. He is moralizing publically so that the chimps don't rip up his precious field and so that he and fellow fortunate sons receive moar bailout. He is a suit-wearing chimp. His Orioles should wear caps with funny felt chimp-ears sewn on them. But that won't save him from the shock waves of utter price distortion that ripple through the entire global society with each manipulation of currency, up or down. But that's OK John because not one man in a million can diagnose the problem, I suppose, maybe your heart is leaning toward the right intentions, which would be self-preservation, which may neither be commendable nor honorable, but at the very least, plausible.
What? Did he run off with your wife too?
Nice retort, it addresses my points well. Now, here is your cobblestone, so go earn your keep and break a window for the children.
My point is you have no point.
You have a good point, 813.
Overall, I understand the guy's point. But, there are a lot of people hurting in this country economically and spiritually. This is no excuse for the animal behavior exhibited by the rioting "yoofs". (Actually, even animals don't purposefully destroy their own habitats.)
Are the Baltimore riots being staged to distract the American people from the real cause of discontent?
Who is really behind the Baltimore and Ferguson ‘race’ riots? This is the question people need to be asking.
rest assured they will not...its called bread and circus
surprise IRS audit arrives in Orioles owner's son's mailbox in 3 ... 2 ... 1 . . . . . .
@Creepy A Cracker
More than one of the Founding Fathers was an outrageously wealthy trial lawyer.
I am now a fan.
@weburke
Was just thinking that, don't know nothing about baseball except that I'm an Orioles fan. Go team
so baltimore stadium will make a fine fema camp?
It's called 'Camden Yards' because it quite literally is. Camden Yards, an old refurbished railway terminal yard. So from a FEMA camp perspective, it would ironically, logistically serve very well.
We'll never know because its CLASSIFIED. Operation Northwoods was classified for decades before it was finally unclassified. Of course something like this will probably stay classified forever. Whenever a government has access to unlimited funds from the taxpayers without oversight, those in power can do whatever they like. And it will remain secret.
Interesting backstory to the purse snatching photo:

George Soros has a hand in it, as usual.
George Soros has a hand in it, as usual.
Those are all progressive "yoofs" taking a dump in their own bed. They are just doing what comes natural to progressives, IE: shooting themselves in the foot.
They all voted for the big government progressive brown shirt tyranny that wants them unarmed and back on the plantation.
The progressive stupid, it burns.
Grimaldus
Okay, lets run a poll and see exactly how many of these "protestors" were mad because they didn't have a job.
correlation is NOT causation.
Code of retaliation now.
Whatever your "philosophy" police have a job to do.
And that ain't your baseball stadium bitch.
Oh, one more thing. Let's talk about how the burdern of frivolous lawsuits have created an excessive burden on older inner city communities stuck with "asbestos" abatement costs. OHHHHHH, guess where Mr. Angelos and his priviledged son made their truck loads of money.
Did they care so much about the POOR kids then?
Did they, with their, loads of cash, offer to perhaps, rebuild any schools so the little underprivileged kids could have a good education!
what a bunch of hypocrites...
Angelos is kind of a mixed bag. Starting from the comment above ("that ain't your baseball stadium bitch"), that is true, but you can't really blame Angelos (Sr.) for that one.
The Orioles were bought from The E Bennett Williams estate auction by Eli Jacobs & some partners. The thing, at the time, about the Orioles was that the City of Baltimore has recently seen Irsay & the Colts skip town to Indy over a new stadium issue & they were in a bind because they were risking to lose the O's as well (basically a case of jew owners holding a city & state taxpayer finances to the grill, which is a tactic that has been successful in all major sports over the past 3 decades). Ironically, a few years later, Art Modell, another jew, pulled the same crap on the City of Cleveland and brought the Browns to Baltimore who became the Ravens. Anyway, they (State of Maryland) decided to cave in to the new stadium demands, but that was done on Eli Jacobs watch. Angelos came in a year or so later and scooped up the Orioles in a bankruptcy deal.
That said, just about everyone in Baltimore who is an O's fan dislikes the Angelos. Aside many other things, they made life miserable for the efforts to bring baseball back to Washington DC for many years. Count me in on the crowd that dislikes the Angelos family.
OTOH, I can't find any fault in the contents of this statement. Perhaps it's disingenuous (and it probably is, given the track record), but I guess it is what it is.
People in Baltimore demanded a team in D.C.(???) Genius.
Not sure if you're joking or not, but to clarify. There wasn't an O's fan anywhere (between the early 70's when Bob Short took the Senators to Texas), that DIDN'T want to see baseball in Washington. I was among that crowd. I was a die hard Senators fan (despite their futility), but when they skipped town, I grudgingly embraced the Orioles. Anyway, it was only the Angelos family that kept putting up roadblocks to getting a team back in Washington because they were afraid it would hurt their business. They had no idea that their fears were unfounded, both teams do well & both teams have large fan bases (whether or not they're still turned off by the Angelos family).
Of course, going to a NATIONALS game is quite different from going to an ORIOLES game.
Most NATIONALS fans are dipshits who know nothing about baseball. FFS Booze Allen Hamilton is right across the street & the fucking Washington Navy Yard & the Pentagon are across the river(s). The stadium is always full of MIC service contract yupsters who think it's 'cool' to pay $18 for a hot dog & for that reason only could NEVER think to be a TAMPA BAY RAY or OAKLAND A's fan.
Too many people making money without creating value. That's a problem.
No. That's the American Dream, bub.
Classic wisdom pulled directly from ass: "Riot caused by black high school kids who voted two years ago for 'Progressive' government."
Didn't know student body president's had so much clout! Rah!
Anybody know what the purpose is of these cylindrical bags are that are banging around at the riot cops knees as they clear the streets today in Baltimore? It's something I've not seen before.
https://twitter.com/ColinDaileda/status/593079002295840768
“BALTIMORE MAYOR GAVE RIOTERS ‘SPACE TO DESTROY’”
Let me paraphrase for you. Mayor gave federal government, agent provocateur contractors, room to get the ball rolling and time to clear out before authorities moved in.
Truly, you have to know how these things operate.
And will you ever get tired of making excuses for idiots destroying and pillaging?
Sure, the government is up to their eyeballs in creating animosity, fear and chaos, but it takes true idiots to do what these "protestors" are doing.
We spend far too much time finding people to blame for our stupid actions. Just because they will lie and manipulate us is no real excuse...unless you are going for the insanity or just plain stupid defense.
FREAK - I'm not making excuses for anybody. They were doing exactly as they were intended to do, same as most of the voters in this country when they vote republican or democrat.
When in Rome, do as the Vandals do.
Just being honest for a change. Look at how many cops were deployed to the protect the Inner Harbor and people at Camden Yards.
There were no people at Camden Yards. There was no game & it was cancelled a long time in advance. No fans even entered the stadium.
I believe they would be gas masks.
Thx Chinooky. I guess they carry them in that manner so as to retire early with a bad knee.
Yeah, that is a bad way to carry something in case they have any running to do. It ain't tactical, it's tacticool, i.e. retarded.
A colostomy bag so cops won't piss themselves if they encounter someone who might fight back.
The point is, read the language that he uses with a slow eye, and try not rub yourself raw while rapt in your fanboyish giddy. His is the language of begging to a liberal host, the language of one who had been promised more and is betrayed. Or do you think Camden Yards self-financed? My wife is just fine, thanks.
I did understand the gist of your original post, but think it's silly to blame this one guy for society's ills. Maybe his comment is self-serving (riots are bad for business), but it is spot on.
No doubt his family has benefited from govt largesse, but not every fortunate son is an evil bastard.
I blamed him for nothing, and I didn't call him an evil bastard (although I do believe in evil), and frankly I probably make less per year than all of my brothers, and I may admire wealth and those who have captured it.
I CALLED HIM A SUIT-WEARING CHIMP, SUCKING UP FOR DONATIONS, TOUCHING SENTIMENTAL POINTS IN HIS SPEECH BUT SUSPICIOUSLY KUBUKI-DANCING AROUND THE TRUE PROBLEM, WHICH IS "RULE BY FIAT". If he wanted to "start the revolution", he would have said those three words, and those who understand would offer silent and invisible nods in preparation.
You can equate that with "evil", but that doesn't mean that I do. It is what is and I won't judge right now. People don't all think like you and define as you do, and that is a good thing. I accept that for myself, thus I may allow myself to have real insight into what this man is really communicating.
You may agree or not, and my perception will outlast anyone's opinion but only if iI allow my perception to be impressed by the truth of things.
You were hoodwinked by Angelos, these men are very sly and pick their words precisely, and when I pointed that out to the group, you attacked me in some guttural language and were sure to try to rally others around. Ask yourself, whose side are you on?
What donations is he sucking up for? Is there some secret code in this that only you understand?
I doubt if he understands that the root of most US problems is fiat, you have high expectations if you expect this guy to start a revolution. I'm just glad that someone with a public platform to be heard said something resembling the truth.
And I attacked you with guttural language? How have you survived on this site for so long with such delicate sensibilities? I have no axe to grind with you, I usually find your comments insightful, but today you're kinda out in left field (pun intended).
Donations are what the federal reserve provides to their non=profit institutions, which is what they are turning the entire economy into. You might celebrate the resemblance of truth, but I don't. Don't hide behind fight club, you might not actually belong here.
I misspoke with "resemblance of truth", I agree with everything this guy said. And I think the FED is above his paygrade.
I'm not hiding behind anything besides reality but will do some soul searching to determine whether I belong in your class of deep thinkers.
Whether you misspoke or not is immaterial, what's material is that you made the statement first, then retracted it. I haven't retracted a damn thing. In fact, I continue.
Both the man and the event are diversions. In fact the man peddles diversions for a living (I'm a fan of the game but not of the highly-marketed pro-wrestling-esque pro baseball league). I'm trying to convince you that the man is consciously peddling slyly crafted illusions. And if you lap them up, no, then you don't belong in my threads heaving insults around regarding what you demonstrate to know nothing about.
And no matter how many monkies accompany you in monkey-hammering ignorance, I'll continue to offer keys to your own awakening daily.
Yes, you do continue. I retracted because I had to reread his comment to make sure that I agree with every letter and punctuation mark.
I think the riots are not diversions but rather the result of pent up anger. It's not like this country needs any more distractions, those you haven't gotten it by now probably never will.
Sorry if I don't agree with your nonsensical comments on your threads, Al Gore.
I didn't question the riots, I questioned the intent of the Orioles owner or whoever in speaking as he did, when he did. Perhaps you need a lesson in reading comprehension, along with logical discourse, or maybe you just need some more fiber to alleviate that pain in your the ass that you are trying to project onto the world. I'd snark that your pain in the ass is my foot, but my foot wouldn't fit with all that you've got crammed up there. You haven't called me a poopy panties yet, and so I'm waiting for your next awesome salvo.
You may paint me as whatever you wish, unfortunately you are smearing your own monkey cage with your own feces. The walls are transparent and after I've gone away in the freedom of one who can think for himself, the stain will remain and you will not understand why the stain has disembodied until another random onlooker upon your captivity randomly fits the height of the smear. You will likely call them "Al Gore" or something dumber, and refresh the fecal smear with new feces, which you will never run short of until the very end.
Your problem lies in how judgmental you are. It appears you'll settle for nothing short of libertarian Jesus, perfect in every way. And everyone else is suspect and should be rhetorically attacked, for whatever reason that can be made available.
Sorry, but for "not judging" you went pretty much overboard in your posts here.
I agree with your thoughts on fiat, but sorry to tell you if you want to make the general understanding of the ills of fiat the centerpiece of turning this country around to the better, you might as well stop posting or telling anybody your opinion right now.
Money ought to be the centerpiece of the discussion as it denominates all transactional relationships in the society not specifically valued by barter (barter includes emotional / non-material transaction as well). Distort its structure, and you distort every evaluation of ... well, value. What would be your centerpiece?
I might not have made myself clear enough, but the first question is can general understanding be achieved, i.e. can the majority grasp it good enough that they detect false reinterpretations as such. Not a chance in fiat vs. honest money.
Instead one would need to simplify (decomplexify) things regularly used by everybody, which would be my centerpiece.
However I do realize that the intelligent psychopaths in power will use all the means at their command to torpedo any larger-scale simplification attempt, using disinformation, ridicule, and subjugation.
Towards your point, honest money is a necessary part but not a complete fix - valuations can go distorted for a long time even with honest money

Uninformed guess: they appear very lightweight - some sort of rapid-deployable flame blanket for posible recipients of any improvised gasoline coctails.
You missed the point. Read between the lines. He said Peter Angelos is talking his book.

I sort of understand both side on this. The son's comments were right on the mark and very well written.
The father is however, a scum bag trial attorney, a billionaire elite that gets sports owner corporate welfare and also a big Democreep in a shithole lib city.
The son's comments were fantastic. They look like they were written by the best posters on ZH.
John for Mayor!
You are exactly wrong in your commentary. The issue of subsidies for 'Potemkin-villages' is real, but very secondary (and a direct result of) long-term feedback loops of savings a buck in the global supply chain by feeding totalitarian regimes. If you send wealth to China, expect to eventually see Chinese-influenced ideological values supported in the US election cycles. These include an emphasis on the abnegation of individuality (rights, freedoms, value) in favor of the 'collective good' OR the financial bottom line. The US HAS ghettoized its manufacturing and commoditized service sector. Look no further than your nearest city bus driver, big box retail sales rep, or extrusion-molding line hourly employee. This degradation is done by outsourcing to totalitarian regimes and justified by higher profit levels. I'm all about economic profit, but it must come without the degradation of liberty and freedom. The problem arises when you fail to calculate the value of the freedoms which inevitably come under assault as a result of the long-term feedback loops. .Gov must increasingly subsidize the 'have-nots' who are displaced by the offshoring. Hence the need for the subsidies for the Potemkin villages you refer to. It's the same problem, but you fail to either see it or call it out.
I'm just pissed that our corporations, our government and foreign entities have FORCED me to buy foreign made products. They have FORCED me to surrender my job to them. And they have FORCED me to become a raving socialist lunatic demanding to be provided even MOAR for doing ever LESS.
Damn them!
All I was looking for was a good deal....or maybe something for damned near nothing!
If you want to appreciate something for nothing then just go pay your taxes.
guys that think fiat is the problem.........sheesh.
Until the money printed doesn't buy anything. Then like all tyranny, the paycheques bounce like rubber balls, then all those men they've trained and armed cut their throats in the middle of the night. It's reoccured enough in history to make it canon. What is more interesting though is the people rioting are more patriotic than people that swore oaths if weighing things against what the system was constructed to be and function as. A democracy. US forefathers understood it perfectly that occassional blood has to be spilled. At least this time, there is no north/south division. The lines drawn are clear as day where the issues are.
By all terms and conditions of the spirit and the laws given in the US contitution. They are correct in their position of rioting/protesting. And according to economic data at this point 120 million americans literally have nothing to lose in trying to take it back. They just have to win because that's who writes history. The winners.
Only on Zerohedge can one find out about how this is all about the Bill of Rights and the currency and basically, stuff that White people talk about.
That's not what Africans are protesting. African Americans are already better off than South Africans but the South Africans are killing the Afrikaners and rioting too. Just face it. They're Africans. So they don't care about the currency, the Magna Carta, the Bill of Rights and the stuff that White tribes from the North (preppers!) care about.
You're observing their behavior and then just projecting your issues onto it.
Feel a need to hoard food, an instinct... for DISASTER, aka Winter... White people? Stop worrying about it so much. It's going to be a long hot summer... as the Africans and the tribes of the South apparently know.
Sounds to me like he's trying to avoid a date with boiled rope and a lamp post...he keeps this up, he just may survive with a public flogging, and head shaving.
Fact. There are 60,000 heroin users in Bmore
All looking to steal something to pay for 3 fixes a day
Do the math
Most heroin addicts are functional. Weak post.
Source?
Where is the source for 60,000? You didn't balk at the number, accepting it as realistic. Its not. Its highly exaggerated.
No, I don't care about the number, I want his source for "most heroin addicts are functional". In my experience, someone addicted to such a powerful opiate will not be functional, but I'm open to debate on that.
When you can get a person to use short-term thinking, you can get them to do anything you want. Heroin users rapidly become short-term ONLY thinkers. Heroin is one of the most addictive 'drugs of abuse' available. B-more has been a great source for cheap heroin for decades. 60,000 might be high, but not order-of-magnitude high.
QUESTION??
Are addictive drugs or any narcotic mind altering substance for that matter, part of the "bread and circuses" we hear so much about??
Based on their treatment in the MSM and the ongoing softening of the rules around marijuana for the elites (Washington and Colorado, with others on a similar path), yes, mind-altering drugs are definitely part of the bread and circuses. The elites tolerate them and laud them when it benefits them to do so, and demonize them when they want an excuse to do that. The hypocrisy and cynicism is stunning.
@Government need
I believe you are most correct here. I can't relate exact figures here, but here's my anecdotal story. Yesterday I was driving in the exact area of Baltimore where a lot of overnight looting went down. I wrote about it yesterday and apparently I got out there about 45 minutes before the first of the mayhem began at the CVS pharmacy. But rest assure I was on North Ave. Getting out of town I was on Greenmount, then took North Avenue up to the JFX onramp (over the Howard St. bridge which got closed later that night). Anyway, when I got back to the warehouse a few hrs later I was talking to a co-worker, who is a recovering heroin addict. I was joking about driving down MLK Blvd and saying, quite truthfully, that if I'd given only 50 cents to every person on every streetcorner holding out a sign, I'd have probably needed two $10 rolls of quarters to get in and out of the city (which is part of the reason I decided to leave via the JFX). Anyway, he replied to me. "There are a lot of heroin addicts in Baltimore", which I didn't press him on. I guess he knows.
Anecdote. More than 20% of those street corner beggars were white. I had to laugh at one point because I passed this white guy one way at the corner of the Howard St bridge, then passed him again going out of town. On the way out of town, the light went red and this black guy, with a squeegee jumps in out of nowhere and bogarts his potential donation. Only 5 blocks earlier, I'd seen a shiny new silver Bentley on Greenmount Ave (which I was grateful for because it took ALL attention off of me). I guess it's a jungle out there.
To answer your question with a question, who controls the poppy fields from which heroin comes?
Anyone know a certain country that is a big producer of opium/heroin that has the military and paramilitary protecting the growers? I wonder if a certain air force base is used to get it into Baltimore quickly.
Ha, didn't see your reply.
@Freddie. The Anacostia area of WDC is closer, but when you compare the similarities, your point is taken. Though frankly, there are a lot of white heroin addicts in Baltimore. There are no whites in Anacostia, period.
Define "functional"
All I see on teevee are dancing protesters complete with drums. Some kind of line dancing like the locomotion.
Collect an EBT benefit and vote. Of course, this means there are millions of functional dead people . . .
Yes and they would,nt need to steal if it were not for prohibition, heroin is a third world agricultural product no more expensive than coffee or tea. It is kept highly priced thru prohibition deliberately to enable the huge profits the elite banking families and their spook alphabet agencies make from its sale. I guess most people here do not need to be reminded that Afganistan was "liberated" as soon as the Taliban banned the production of opium . Cant have the locals interfering with a centuries old business, same reason Britain fought 2 opium wars with China
It's funny, back in antiquity, opium didn't cause the problems associated with addicts. That didn't start until the Chinese figured out that you could smoke it. Then all of the chemists got involved, and isolated various compounds and made it worse. But back in the day, you could eat the unprocessed opium and it was a good pain killer.
Potency effects is ability to be abused, and the destructiveness of its addiction.

I don't know...he might piss off quite a few people with the "kids game" comment. Good to know how the owners feel about their cash cows.
Most sports these days are kids games for arrested developement adults . Bread and circuses anyone ? Keeps the tax herd distracted from week to week "following" "their team". Men in particular are the target of course, so that instead of being true warriors and guardians of women , children and society they are reduced to the infantile "dija see tha game last night " discourse instead of "man have you noticed lately that we seem to have been invaded by some child mutilation cult from the middle east, another cult of bankers are forcing us to use their so called money and some other people are claiming to be our government and using the threat of and or actual use of force to make us pay tribute to them , what do you guys think we should do about it ?"
I think you're putting too much responsibility on the sellers of this particular pastime. I am not a sports fan, but with the ones I know, they are driving the game. They are not having it forced or even pushed on them. They are seeking it out. Sports seem to tap into a deep primal channel in many people. While TPTB may find that string useful in their efforts, they are only truly giving these people what they are actually demanding. It's a strong phenomenon that I don't understand, but I accept that being part of the "tribal culture" of sports fans runs deeper than just the manipulation of those who would seek to dominate. Something genetic going on there...
He's just pandering. Like all of the 1%, the last thing he wants to do is rock the boat. Make a few populist, crowd-pleasing statements and retreat back to the mansion. Same as it ever was.
Note how he places absolutely zero blame on the rioters. Zero, zip, none. That speaks volumes.
If he really wanted to stick it to "the man" (himself, essentially), he'd decry the welfare state, deficit spending, banking cartels, corporate cronyism and all sorts of other corruption that actually leads to these socioeconomic woes. But no, he'll just take the crowd-pleasing stance. Then again, can you really be surprised, given the nature of his work? His wealth depends on pacifying and entertaining the masses, not instigating them.
Let the downvotes begin, bitchez!
IMHO I believe youa are wrong here. As a ball park owner, it is to his advantage to have a well paid middle class. The only thing that keeps the ball parks operating during the week is the TV money. Even here in a small town in a lower class ball league, tickets cost $8 with anything near good seating is $15. Food cards are not accepted.
Be that as it may, in the shorter term, it's in his advantage to keep his scalp and not piss off the rioters. And you'll see this is precisely what Obama, the mayor, and all other authority figures will do. Pacify. So, here's this 1%ers statement that deflects blame away from the rioters and puts it on things like "exporting jobs". This guy "destroys" or "exports" jobs every time he rides in a car or plane, uses a computer, builds a house with steel components, buys anything manufactured overseas, invests outside the US, among many other things. We all do it, we just don't want to face the truth. Jobs are destroyed, created, exported and imported as economies rise, fall, specialize and shift. Like I said, I think this is just more populist prose for those who cannot think critically.
And I have to chuckle at a guy from the elite who complains about the political elite. He's one of them.
Sure He's dependent upon the middle class, pretty much like everyone else is except maybe Walmart.
But THAT is not what THIS is about. At best its about police brutality (which we don't know the truth of yet) but really its about a opportunity to rage out, an excuse to destroy and pillage. All they needed was a little space, a little elbow room to destroy, maybe a cop free zone to go ape shit in. And then of course we can have public officials remorse at the injustice of it all and dump a billion or so public dollars into the area rebuilding it...and maybe a few more ball courts for the unemployed to hang.
I appreciate the son's very lucid comments even though his old man is:
1. Scum bag billionaire trial attorney.
2. Mega supporter of the Democrat Party.
3. Corporate MLB welfare team owner.
Seriously, any dumb white males going to the ball park who get their ass kicked in baltimore deserve it. F***king retards watch NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA thug ball are idiots. Anyone watching The Matrix TV or Hollywood is an idiot.
Sadly - sonny boy's daddy owns a team in one of the shittiest cities in America which I hope burns to the ground along with Camden Yards (?) (the ball field for the orioles - probably paid for with tax money). F them. If the world goes to shit and America has endless riots - not a lot of retards will be going to the ball fields.
The dumbest are white males who support college teams where thugs get free scholarships, money, women, cars and the dumb white male students pay for it with a lifetime of student loan debt. Retards. The whole idea of alumni and team spirit is for insecure retards who want to be part of the pack.
I NEVER wanted to be part of the f**king pack of sheep and serfs.
What's your opinion about Katy Perry's tits jiggling around during a SuperBowl halftime show? I kno, I kno, it's the same as the 'free ham' conundrum, lol
"...he keeps this up, he just may survive with a public flogging, and head shaving."
I've been hearing that kind'a talk for a long, long time. Nobody seems to have stepped up to the plate at this late stage in the game, as "they" keep flaunting their agenda in our faces. But every morning I get up and get on line and come to sites like ZH, hoping and praying this is the day, the masses begin the siege and their walls start tumbling down. Just hope all those military vehicles traveling by train all across the country will be used by patriots from our side.
This is what you get speaking truth to power....
NO MORE MAJOR LEAGUE PENNANTS FOR YOU.......
Sorry, but everything he said was predicated on one assumption........that the people he is talking about not being able to find jobs actually WANTING JOBS.
Sadly, they do not.
As my old man used to say, "You'd be surprised how hard people will work when their belly touches their backbone." End the welfare. End the property tax. End the Legal tender laws. End the Air Force (fold it into an Army Air Corp). End the drug war. End the Fed.
(I'm sure I missed some, but I've gotta take my morning constitutional.)
Spot on. It's easy to blame the lower class in situations like this, and the way they are going about seeking justice is misguided. Their anger is justified though. .gov has promised things to uneducated masses who weren't aware of the consequences, that they were in fact voting for their own serfdom.
Rioting, destruction of property, and aggression are not the correct answers. At the same time, those are the responses this culture as a whole has made inevitable. Things will get a lot worse before they get better, and everyone who has the forethought and intelligence to see the reality of this country for what it is should prepare accordingly. America and the whole world in fact, are going through a rebirth right now. Like actual birth, it will be messy, bloody, and painful. There is also the chance that the outcome is far better than what we currently have.
protocol #0 - Place our agents and helpers everywhere
protocol #1 - Take control of the media and use it in propaganda for our plans
protocol #2 - Start fights between different races, classes and religions
Spoken like a true Elder of Zion.
Yes, they voted for their own serfdom via entitlements. Now here's the critical point. They do not realize this and riot for more serfdom.
Yep, fire half the government. Not sure it matters which half. And yes, no need for the Air Force. Give it all back to the Army.
If we're ending the Chair Force, can we start with the National Department of United States Department of Drones Department?

End income tax deductions for children and other dependents. End earned income credit. End EBT. End public housing. Quit paying people to have babies, if you're also going to send all those babies' jobs out of the country to China and El Salvador and so forth.
You seem to have left out the coporate subsidies that eclipse the amount spent on public welfare.
I don't know why the down votes, I think Mitt Romney proved job creation, even in the abstract is an assured loser with a population that has long since evolved past that.
I believe the DVs stem from our European brethern whose brains automatically short circuit when they see American riots.
I don't know why you got junked for that. Although there may be a few looking for jobs, let's face it .. if you've got the time to riot on a Monday (and obviously don't care about your criminal record) .. chances are you have no intention of working a 9 to 5 job.
When the only work available is minimum wage at mcdonalds with no insurance benefits since they only give you part time work, then yes, I would not want that job either.
Taking Mr Angelo's at his words, he's the type who will be needed if things can be turned around. Some of the younger entrepreneurs who have managed against all odds to get close to the elites and have the platform and the capital will come to our side. They're just low enough in the 1% that they know they'll lose if the old money banker set finishes turning this Country into a jail. For a while I thought Mark Cuban could do something like this, but he's just another new money douche. He could be using the platform of Shark Tank, which is a great learning tool about how making money really works, to get people with McJobs to understand how they're being fucked. I don't see it happening though.

Is he "exactly" right? Really?
Should American companies be FORCED to move back into Baltimore and take these "kids" off the street and give them jobs at a government mandated minimum wage or a union mandated manximum wage? Then, should all competing products from foreign shores be taxed to hell so American's have no option other than to purchase Baltimore goods at 4x the price of a product made in Haiti, Honduras or China?
I have no love for VIP Corporate America that buries itself in debt at the hands of the Fed. But I still believe in a businesses freedom to locate itself in optimal places.
The fact that Baltimore has become a less than optimal place for big business to look for their next round of rookie emnployees is not the fault of business big or small.
The answer has nothing to do with the government. In fact, the answer is the exact opposite of what government stands for. The current state of this country is a direct consequence of government force, nothing else.
Oversimplification. Government force starts with those who add value. If you do something productive, the government will camp out on your front lawn. The crony corporations, unions, farmers, etc. are at the feeding trough alongside the rioters. The rioters benefit from this plunder. They just want more. Besides the random unjustified beating by a thug police officer trumped up in the media and exploited by race-baiters, the rioters are not victimized by government force at large. On a day-to-day basis, they are free to either break the law or abide by the law. They are free to accept EBT cards. They are free to accept child tax credits. They are free to accept welfare. They are free to abstain from having that 6th kid they can't afford. They are even free to get a job if they're so inclined. If government force really is the problem, lets just stop enforcing the law in their community and see what happens.
by .gov force, I am referring to their theft of the productive via taxation, their devaluation of the currency, and their destruction of jobs via wage requirements and regulations.
All of the people you mention (crony corps, unions, farmers, etc.) are just as much victims of .gov and they will all be in similar situations as the lower class people of baltimore soon enough. I'm not saying they will be rioting and breaking shit like we are currently seeing, but they will be extremely angry and seeking some form of justice once they realize all the .gov promises made to them won't be kept.
They are all in the same story, just a different chapter. They were ignorant (by design I would argue) of the consequences that would come with accepting .gov handouts. They slowly become more and more dependant on said handouts, then before they know it, they are completely at the mercy of .gov bureaucrats and policy.
All of the rioting we are seeing, including the causes of those riots, are a symptom of the main underlying problem which is centralized authority and power.
antias you are so wrong headed you might as well be the poster boy for head in ass.

NWO loves your mind set.
"What difference at this point does it make!" No worries as ling as the fudgepacker gets to continue living its celebrity grand imperial golf lifestyle@ tax paying U.S. citizen serfs & peasants.
The NSA has removed this comment to ensure your safety but erode your Liberty.
Sons don't select their fathers.
What fathers? They were/are never around. If they hang around the "free government stuff" stops flowing in. They are simply sperm donors.
Peter Angelos made his fortune in Asbestos Lawsuits. Not saying that companies that were in asbestos did the right thing. However Peter Angelos would sue anybody and everybody who might had had an illness, which is what class action attys do. Then they look for settlements. Ie--they settle a lawsuit on behalf of 25,000 people at 1,000 per crack.Thats 25 million.
The atty gets his 30%, or 8 mil, plus expenses. Expenses soak up a huge part of the remainder to the client /plaintiff gets a few hundred.
Junior Angelos is correct in what he said-he should just asknowledge that he like the elitists have taken advantage of that public he is so concerned about.
His father could have done a good thing by holding out for a few thousand in settlement per person and then charging costs plus a reasonable profit. I understand it was a contingent fee, I get it.
but if junior and senior are so concerned .........;.
by the way, it was these type of class action lawsuits, whether bonafide or not, that helped kill american business and forced manufacturing to go offshore.
we need to get lawyers out of politics too. Get successful mid size company businessmen and women involved-they literally had to do it themselves.
Being a lawyer can be a very noble profession. Unfortunately, most people either lose their ideals or they go into it for FRNs, and they are anything but nobel.
I love it when people slam class action lawyers because they got paid too much for the effort. Taking on large corporations in a class action involves hundreds of thousands or sometimes millions of dollars out of the attorney's pocket in advanced costs, with no guarantee those funds will ever be paid back. A typical case takes years to prosecute (sometimes close to 10), during which the attorney earns exactly nothing. If the class settles or a judgment is obtained, a judge has to approve everything including attorneys' fees in relation to the amount that the class members (who otherwise would get exactly nothing) will receive. Class members can file objections if they feel the result is unfair, and many class settlements have been reversed due to such objections (see the NFL helmet deal for example). Meanwhile, the asbestos cases are a perfect example of government doing nothing to help the little guy who is a victim of corporate misconduct, leaving it to private businesses (law firms) to take on the goliath to obtain compensation for victims. Only to have guys like you -- who claim to be for private rights -- to bitch because the lawyer who took all the risk gets a big pay day if he's successful.
Rand, if you believe all that crap, read up on an attorney from Mississippi - Richard Scruggs and get back to us.
Also, read up on Thomas Lakin, he's just a good guy trying to help people....... (vomit)
"In a federal court hearing today he agreed to a plea in which he admitted the sexual abuse of a 15-year-old relative of a law firm employee years ago, in exchange for the dismissal of more serious sex charges, reports the Madison Record."
"Back in the day, Lakin at one point lived in Malibu, Calif., where his neighbors included Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone, the article notes."

He actually got disbarred? legal scum bags can kill todlers, seals, strangle puppies, rob their clients, engage is arson, extortion, rape, murder, forgery and they still do not get disbarred. They usually become President of the local legal bar or become a Democrat Senator.
I could care less who his father is and where he is from. any man of those sentiments is a "fellow American" ;
Unfortunately I suspect he just made the list of Americans requiring an NSA dossier-the contents of which will probably hit his desk in the next 48 hours-and will contain everything -including the name and dates of the neighborhood girl he played doctor with at age 5....and when and where and with whom he had his first illegal beer as a high school freshman..etc.etc..
The subject of this thread is not some hologram who just appeared on the scene having no past and no record of public statements. Has anyone heard/read anything by him before today? Is he the same guy he was 10 years ago? 5 years ago?
REread the post dipshit
How much "self interest" did you actually see??
@ Son of an outrageously wealthy trial lawyer speaks. No self-interest here.
Stupid thing to say, this is one rich guy who gets it and is willing to risk it to say it. That's more of what we need.
