Dumb 'ol me. I've rather enjoyed the ride from $32 and $28 to $80. Also, don't mind that my 24 year old kid has been well employed there for nearly 3 years, pulls a 6 figure salary, has stock, amazing employee perks, and works with some of the smartest people in the world, is happy about people connecting all over the world, within their interests, helping in disasters, and yes . . . enabling messaging by humans, cats, and advertisers.
We're just dumb and happy. Even all the down buttons won't make me unhappy or any smarter - so have at it!

FB wants to keep track . but if you post too many fact laden posts on economics or military or foreing policy . you are GONE ... if you still want to use it to spread the word . and its still a good way if you stick to certain things.. better have several identities.. otherwse.. down the memory hole. You can tell who is either being very very vrey offensive or who is being very effective by who disappears.

Are you really that naive? I've got news for you "Zukky" has tons of info on you. Do you think that because you have never signed on to FB that there isn't a file with your name on it there? Do you think "Zukky" and the NSA don't know you are a 25 week member of ZH. Do you think they don't know your real name vs your screen name? Do you have friends and relatives who use FB? Do those said friends and relatives have personal info on you like your address, your relation to them, your email addresses, pictures you may have sent via email or pictures that your "friends and relatives" have scanned and sent via email, instagram, FB, family heritage sites, dropbox, etc?
Don't get me wrong I'm not dissing you. I like you have never had a FB or Twitter account and like you I am a member of ZH but seemingly unlike you I have no illusions that anything I have ever said here or in any email I have ever sent, not to mention my shopping habits, books I check out from the library, political leanings, etc are not well known by TPTB including FB.
I don't think the vast majority of people, including most enlightened ZH members truly have a clue of the scope of the spying and cataloging of every little scrap of information on every single human being on the planet actually is. Bottomline: Even though you aren't a member of FB "Zukky" knows more about you than you do.

I made a page w no pics and contacted them by saying I was suppose to contact u. I left and never went back. Never joined google plus or none of those places.

I couldn't agree more SD-One. I have been online since around 1995 and I still have never clicked on an ad banner on any site. Why would I? Mrs. M has a FuckTard accounts and I made it sparkling clear to her that she is NEVER to post any pictures of me or the things I invest in because that is just plain stupid.
