Two Chinese Warships Enter The Black Sea

Tyler Durden's picture

On Friday we reported that for the first time in history, Chinese and Russian navies will begin a significant joint naval exercise in The Mediterranean Sea in mid-May.

Citied by RT, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Geng Yansheng said that "The aim is to deepen both countries' friendly and practical cooperation, and increase our navies' ability to jointly deal with maritime security threats," but diplomatically added "these exercises are not aimed at any third party and have nothing to do with the regional situation."

Against a background of this week's "upgraded Japan-American military relationship" following Abe's visit to Obama, as one analyst notes, "the geopolitical significance of its exercising alongside Russia will not be lost on the U.S. and NATO."

While it was unclear if directly related to the upcoming "historic" drill, the Bosphorus Navy Blog reports that in what is a comparable "first" yesterday two warships from Peoples Republic of China were seen passing through the Bosphorus, and entering the Black Sea.

More:

Two Jiangkai II (type 054A) class frigates 550 Weifang and 547 Linyi from PLAN North Sea Fleet made a northbound passage through the Turkish Straits. The destination of these Chinese ships were not disclosed.

The frigates shown below, as they were seen crossing the naval barrier between Europe and Asia:

NATO promptly responded and hours ago AP reported that a top NATO commander said the alliance will briefly move its allied joint force command from Italy to Romania - which has a historic Black Sea port in the town of Constanta - as NATO continues to react to Russia's moves in Ukraine.

Admiral Mark Ferguson, Commander of Allied Joint Force Command based in Naples, Italy, said the command will be based in Cincu, central Romania, for 12 days in June, to support a NATO exercise involving 1,000 troops from 21 NATO states.

Cincu is Romania's largest military shooting range, some 180 kilometers (112 miles) northwest of Bucharest.

"This deployment will be the first time a NATO Joint Force Command Headquarters has deployed to Romania," Ferguson said Tuesday.

At the same time, NATO will conduct exercises in Poland, the Baltics and the Baltic Sea.

As a reminder, in the summer of 2013 when the Syria war tensions saw a build of US, Russian and even Chinese ships in the Mediterranean ahead of what could be the first global Middle East war. The war was avoided in the last minute. This time the naval build up is taking place even closer to both Europe and Russia, and now even China is present.

Very true.  The biggest boat collections, like trillion dollar aircraft carrier battle groups, make the easiest targets for the mach 10 Dongfeng 21-D.  The US Navy's floating coffins will all be gone 15 minutes after the shooting starts.  The US population was swindled when they paid for these corporate welfare fleets.

I had a VERY vivid dream this past weekend, very lucid.  I actually got up and tried to write down what I could remember of it.  Basically this is how the dream went regarding the shit hitting the fan:

1. "ISIS" terror threat trumped up in the USSA.

2. Simultaneous dollar/bond dump by China/Russia/Germany that the U.S. knows about and is using ISIS (C.I.A) as a rogue element to distract the U.S. population.

3. "ISIS' fighters rounded up and detained in closed Wal-Mart plumbing problem stores, media has mericans swooning in fear of the terrorists.  Jade Helm "exercise" becomes real world.

4. Sheep U.S. "citizens" begging for protection as martial law is declared.

5. All hell breaks loose!

I hope you creamed your unit sufficiently when you gave it your famous  low rub before reading what the un-goy, Vice-Admiral Marom said about the Yakhont.

When it comes to everything, un-goys unlike yourself, know what they're talking about.

Describing the Yakhont as the most advanced missile of its kind in the world, (ex-navy chief Vice-Admiral res.) Eliezer Marom said the West does not know very much about the weapon, which flies at low altitude “right over the sea,” reaching speeds of between Mach 2 and Mach 3 (up to three times the speed of sound).

the Yakhont the most advanced missile of its kind in the world

And the Pentagon is so nervous about the Yakhont, it had to put its special forces to figure it out, reverse engineer it, and turn it into a cherry bomb.

Yes sir, it told the IDF to get on it right away.  And get back to the Joint Chiefs ASAP.

Propaganda or not, NATO Navy would become minced meat in the Black sea. You see, you don't have to have a submarine or a ship to launch underwater torpedos; as for ships even thousands of miles from the shores, they too are an easy target for the weapons of this age. Ships don't even have to come close to the shores. They can be easilly knocked out with ballistic misslies stuffed with some cruise missiles. When a ballistic misslie comes close to a target, it launches cruise cargo and they will sink the target. Every ship can be sank many a thousand kilometers away. Easily. Of course 3rd world countries possess no such capability, and many 1st world countries as well, but that would be a child's play for Russian capabilities.

But we only need to wait a while longer and no Western - Oceania - agression in the future will be possible. As the dollar parasitism upon the world ends, so dies the NWO Military Arm aka Murican Army.

Tue, 05/05/2015 - 13:31 | 6062564 Dathedr
Dathedr's picture

p.s.

And China only needs to ensure that the West has no capability in the future to issue a "reserve currency" again. If the SDRs or bancor come about, then Western oligarchs, that NWO cunts, will retain the power to print or digitally conjure whatever amount of currency units, and then they can again build their private army like they did with Murican Army. China has to ensure that the West doesn't retain the power of controlling the supply of currency!

BOTH SIDES

admit that the SU-24 made a dozen passes (12) over the Cook.

Don't you think that after the 7th or 8th time, any respectable ship in a respectable navy would be sending missiles up?  Or at least firing side arms at the threatening jet?

Are we supposed to think that the commander of the Donald Cook was so calm he just waited for the Russian planes to run out of gas and go home, while at the same time the Pentagon's canine teeth are dripping with blood from all the war and naval games they're playing along Russia's Western Border.

IMHO if Russia showed the US their Khibiny, common sense tells you they have something even more potent in their bag of tricks.

Supposedly the USS Donald Cook had just been targeted by Russian coastal defenses in Crimea when it approached the Crimean coast, right before this SU-24 incident.  I think the ship's officers were a teensy bit rattled.

The recent video "Crimea: Way Back Home" mentions how Russia scared off the Cook.  See: http://thesaker.is/crimea-way-back-home-full-video-with-english-subtitle... It is a long video and that discussion is somewhere around 1:45 or 2:00 - sorry cannot be more exact.  Putin said in the interview that he had not ordered the jet to buzz the Cook, but "somebody was naughty."  Then he smiled.

The Su-24 never flew over the Cook.  It flew towards it and then broke off prior to entering the zone where the ship had to make a decision.  The make beleive story is that the sailors then refused orders to sail again once the ship next went to port  Of course the other part of this propaganda is that the Russian plane disabled all the ship electronics making it helpless and then once it wanted to the plane released it's hold of said electronics and allowed the crew to have control of the ship again.

A propaganda campaign started by a publication that was picked up by bloggers after the jet flew past the ship at a safe distance. The approach was not polite and was an irritant but that is all.

Nothing but fantasy.

If the Argentinians had had some shkvals or enough other rockets needed to sink British Navy ships in the war for the Falklands, they probably would have won the war. But alas they did not. They were ill-equipped for such a task. That was over 30 years ago. The rockets today should have an even easier task of sinking ships. Ships, like the tanks, are almost absolute, unless of course you are fighting against 3rd world countries or low-intensity conflicts, which is what this century will probably be all about.

Good to see Chinese presence in Europe though. Russia and China are intertwining their armies just like they are doing the same with their economies (I think I read somewhere that Russian and Chinese Navies have a joint command in the Far East). Good thing. That ensures no Oceania player will ever gather enough courage to threaaten Eurasia ever again. The time of Oceania dominion is coming to en end, it has already come that is.

The US Navy would build more ships than they already have, but they don't have any more room to dock them.

A lot of he $18 trillion of the national debt went to build ships.  The US has 20 aircraft carrriers. Floating graveyards for sailors and air planes.  The White Elephants of navies.

(the cost of a carrier group is $7 million a day.  $70 milllion for a week and a half. $700 million for a little over 3 months. The Penatgon can't keep borrowing money to have 4 or 5  groups out in troubled waters.  I predict the Pentagon will soon start a program of printing their own fiat.  Or they may just take printing away from the Fed. The Germans at the beginning of WWII were very arrogant. Their citizens scoffed at the idea they could be conquered. Yes Sir, they said,,, Mess with us and we'll kick your ass. They had the most powerful army and air force in the world. Their navy although 2nd to Britain was admirable and capable. Nothing could stop them from liberating their lost acreage from WWI and spreading fascism around the globe. At the end of the war Germans were very humble. Their cities, infrastructure and production in shambles. Japan was the same,,, arrogant, obnoxious, and aggressive. It's cities, infrastructure and production was also destroyed, Not only that they were the lucky recipients of the first A-Bombing of two of their cities.

Now look at them all. Arrogant, obnoxious, aggressive once again. Of them all, one would think Japan would have learned the lesson of under estimating the enemies you make, But, no, they are once again arming back up at the behest of their conqueror.

Every site I go to I read arrogant posts claiming "We'll kick their ass". Only this time the enemies we are making can shoot back with the same or maybe better hardware. This time their arrogance may get them and their loved ones incinerated,,, but does that slow them down,,, noooo, they just scream and howl louder. We're the strongest, We are better, We are the chosen ones, We are e x c e p t i o n a l......

Do it our way or it's the highway, we say.
