Children as Slaves
This is nonsense, people on welfare on not in slavery. It is the working poor and middle classes who have to break their backs paying for other on welfare, who are the slaves. Not only are the working classes taxed to death, but the welfare state raises the cost of living beyond what the working classes can afford.
The correct cartoon would show those on welfare holding a voting booth as an assalt rifle at the working class.

I agree that we in the middle class are slaves -but you are wrong to suggest the welfare class is not also. 80-90% of blacks on welfare are born into a "family" where the parents are not married. When I was a prosecutor in New Orleans in the late 80's -a typical "family" in the Desire project consisted of a 19 year old umarried black female with 5 kids by 5 different fathers -in large part to collect food stamps, AFDC payments, Section 8 Housing, etc. That was their job. It was profitable -at least to live at a subsistence level living in the drug ridden rat infested government project. On the other hand, a typical black male between the ages of 18-34 - well, 50% were in prison, probation or on parole. Very few can overcome being raised in such an environment to better themselves, get a college eduction and be a success. There are a few -a small minority- I call that slavery. Don't listen to the poor middle class Jewish kid who later gets rich on Wall street talking about opportunity for all -I guarantee that kid, by virtue of his ethnicity, his family structure and environment -has a 1000 times more opportunity than some black government project kid -and a hell of a lot more opportunity than the rest of us-particularly middle class white non-Jewish males.
The American Dream is largely dead- yes it still exists for some - but it's not like it used to be. We are no longer a free, Constitutional Republic -we are like Old Europe - a few can still break through, but the cards are laregly stacked against the vast majority. That's reality. If you think otherwise, you're a fool.

Maybe by your narrow definition of slavery -tell that to the 2 million blacks in prison -now too often -private prisions for profit. Tell that to the milions of factory workers in southeast Asia -working for a couple of backs a day (rather than starve) so they can export to the US a shirt which some Jewish merchant pays a buck or two, and which is finally sold to the American Public at retail for $60 -or later on sale for $28. Seems we could have paid an American textile worker a good wage, made the shirt in America for $10 and sold in a retail store for $15 at a reasonable profit -like we used to years ago,
A good wage is one thing, but the unions step in and start demanding pensions(payment even though no longer working), healthcare, daycare, payed days off for the sniffles, grandma's healthcare... why can't people just make an agreement with an employer to trade labor for a wage? They might get a better wage if it were that simple.

@zadphod. I partly agree with your reasoning and outcome. I must add, however, that the cartoon is still right, but lacking a second bodu of people namely the working lower&middle class. Both are slaves: those on welfare cannot escape the forced dependence on subsidies (too high minimum wages, child support based on income, healthcare etc.) If you try to escape the welfare system 9asuming you can get a job) becomes to insanely expensive and difficult that trying to exit is defacto (nearly) impossible.
Note that I cannot spead for the US, since I am Dutch and do not reside in the US. I guess in rough lines, our systems are about equal (in principe and setup).

I like your post but question one thing. The US and British law was established before any UN charter. Thus does charter 13c apply? As you posted the Charter of the UN > US Constitution.
However, the UN came way after. You might remember the League of Nations?
I have no argument that the US is a corporation and thus that follows. And Currently we have progressives that are trying to empower the UN through various ways such as gloabal warming, etc. And while we have had some rogue liberal judges rule in favor of the UN and international law, we still do have some that are Constitutionalist.

the mistake in your reasoning is the assumption that any laws exist anymore. And if they do exist that there are any Non-stacked judicial systems that will enforce them. When your Supreme Court on downwards is stacked with entitled "judges" there will always be a "loophole" or a reason to throw out any challenge. Then you have the "entitled" who make deals.
No such system exists for the arrested poor people who are unable to afford the crooked and connected lawyers and judges. It is a brilliant new slavery. NOW the slaves get to pay for their own downfall. They get to feed the drug machine run by the elite. Then get to fund the legal system that arrests and convicts them. And then get to fund the "for profit" penal system.
Thiis is a crime. And a club that preys on 95% of the population (who do not have lawyers on retainer)....and mostly the very poor who are run through the system from addiction to conviction for profit.

Government laid claim to ending racism by FORCING Americans by law to conform. If it had actually stopped with ending discrimination it might have actually worked, but instead they chose to pursue economic justice, which many have seen as reverse discrimination at best and revenge at worst, none of which has contributed to anything but entrenched hatred, not only of other races but of the government that is charged with uniting us rather than its real result, division.
