Guest Post: Resentful Rage - Stage-4 Of Cancerous Inequality

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Ben Tanosborn,

White America’s ugliest, uncompassionate, punitive face came to life in 1994 politics as Bill Clinton signed the incommensurable largest crime bill Congress had ever legislated: the Violent Crime Control Act; now, in retrospect, perhaps the most anti human rights legislation in modern times, not just in the US but throughout the civilized world.

Clinton reasoned signing this bill as remedy to his view that gangs and drugs had taken over the streets of America and undermined its schools.  But more than Clinton’s flawed reasoning; it has been rationalized politics which has cost the nation, and continues to cost, hundreds of billions of dollars by incarcerating a third of the male black population in their prime, productive years; that, while giving police a stronger arm, inviting all too often an aggressive conduct from people in uniform already predisposed to exceed of their own accord the force required in exercising their honorable mission to protect and serve us all.

America’s uniquely irrational behavior among civilized nations, whether or not a product of our diverse multi-racial society, has not served the country well during the past two decades adding the social problems created by racial inequality to an ever-widening economic inequality among Americans that Ronald Reagan legated to us.

And as social inequality merges with economic inequality, a synergy of resentful rage is being created in cities and communities largely populated by people of color.  Enter the city of Baltimore with a two-thirds black population, America’s problem-du-jour.

Unlike many other major cities in America, Baltimore does not have a song-anthem by which it can be identified.  As the largest city in Maryland, and keeper of proud historic tradition, it does, however, deserve a special place, as heir to two nicknames describing the state as “Little America” and “America in Miniature.” Shouldn’t Baltimore give us a model for many, if not all, major urban centers in America?

That introduction quickly brings us to a key question: is Urban America becoming a “Land of Thugs”?  The president of the United States and the mayor of Baltimore, as well as many others in government and mainstream media, seem to readily make use of that term when describing rioters and lawbreakers even when confined to property crimes.  Is that what we are dealing with in Baltimore now; or in Ferguson five months ago; or in the many black communities daily throughout urban America?

Whether by art or by design, much of white America simply just doesn’t get it; and neither does our representative government, or the media. Or one would expect better choice of words than “Thugs” to describe people who at their worst, as rioters and lawbreakers, are unveiling resentful rage and not solely criminality; yet, words from a black president, Barack Obama, and by the black mayor of Baltimore, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake bring an unintended image to the reality we are living.

The attitude in much of white America appears to be in lockstep with that expressed by Texas Senator, and declared Republican candidate to the presidency, Ted Cruz, who when confronted with the riots in Baltimore said that government has the responsibility to perform its central functions – to “preserve the peace, protect the people, and serve justice.”  But as complete and responsible as that statement might seem, it may prove to be at odds with the accepted democratic theme of “a government of the people, by the people, for the people.” And that government, first and foremost, should be one to serve justice… preservation of peace and protection of people are societal byproducts of a proven free and just society… not one auto-designated as free and just.

One cannot ask black Americans to abide by an evolutionary process which is unlikely to bring them the equality they deserve, socially and economically, in our plural society.  If evolution is not bringing about fair and equitable results, it’s inevitable for revolution to replace evolution in the hope to bring about equality.  And the leading indicator for such an upcoming change can be found in the level of resentful rage building up in black communities traumatized by punitive crime legislation and the lack of a social-economic master plan, one as comprehensive as the post-WWII Marshall Plan, that could establish a firm foundation for transforming us into a more humane and egalitarian America.

Cries are beginning to be heard, even from unlikely Republican politicians, calling for an overhaul of the criminal justice system in America.  Candidate to the presidency, Hillary Clinton, seen as a smiling wife during her husband’s signing of the horrendous 1994 crime bill at the White House, seems prepared, if elected, to undo or amend one of the most shameful pieces of legislation ever enacted by a bipartisan Congress, and signed into law by her visionless husband.

A fair and humane overhaul of the criminal justice system would certainly be a good first step in our needed walk towards a more equitable society.

if you have a job, you don't have the time (nor would take the risk) to throw stones at the police.

You don't have time to burn the place down.

If you don't have a job then you have a lot of time to misbehave because or you have a lot of savings or you are enjoying 'free lunches'.

If you throw stones then or you gonna pay for the damage with your savings or you don't have to pay anything accoording the Law.

If you have to pay for the damage ... never, never you would throw stones...but take a beer instead.

You can throw stones, burn the place down, because it doesn't bare any consequence. For now or later.

People who throw stones, burn down places can do that because they have a guaranteed income. They would have a meal tomorrow.

I mean.

If you work hard the whole day long or you throw stones the whole day, the next day you will have your meal...in America.

Even untalented people can work at 50cts an hour.

If you would have a risk not getting your meal tomorrow....you would be working for 50cts and not throwing stones.

If you were working for 50cts today maybe tomorrow or next month you would be capable to earn a dollar.

And then .. who knows !!!!

So its not racial.

It seems if nothings changed.  You guys talk about poor urban blacks being ignorant but what about you?  Refering to them as animals and subhuman.  That stuff is old as the beginning of african slavery.  It's an excuse to mistreat and deny them basic rights and freedoms.  The "riots" were protests against police brutality, nothing more.  OFCOURSE, there are going to be a *small* number of people (mostly young) who are going to take advantage and loot.  OFCOURSE the media is going to focus on them and not the VAST majority of people in the neighborhood who are either barricaded in their houses or actually protesting.  You take the visual images that were SPECIFICALLY SELECTED FOR YOU TO SEE and you guys go off on your usual racist tirades.

Very few have focused on the fact that there was a man murdered by the police (even if he was committing a crime, we're supposed to have due process in this country).  And the impetus of this riot/unrest was to protest that.  And the media belittled this protest by focusing on the looters and the underclass elements.  This is about basic human rights.  This was bout being able to exist -- yes exist-- without being subject to being murdered in broad daylight because the person doing it has a badge.  It is really that simple.  Most of you have NO IDEA what black males go through in this country when it comes to the criminal justice system.  It isn't anything close to what the founding fathers had in mind or even what's in the constitution or the laws on the books now.  And black people who are effected by this are pissed.  And all the white people here are doing is focusing on the same tired memes: blacks are criminals, animals, immoral, lazy, stupid, etc. and not looking at what's really going on.  Animals, thugs, scum whatever you call them these people are pissed off about the increasing amount of abuses by law enforcement.  And they stand at the forefront of the fight against the increasing attacks on liberty, human and constitutional rights in the USA.

Which is a hell of lot more than you so called freedom loving, patriots sitting safely behind your screens in the suburbs.

"deny them [blacks] basic rights and freedoms"

Are you for real?  Blacks are given preference at every stage of their lives and in every arena of activity. Preferential entry to colleges, job quotas, dumbed-down entry and promotional exams to suit them, claims of racism - almost always successful - when they act up or don't succeed. And their problems with the criminal justice system arise from the fact that they commit crime, especially violent crime, at orders of magnitude greater than other races.

You have your head up your arse.

The American Elites running the MIIC and the banks; having shot the man who said : I have a dream, having shot the last true democratic president of the United States, having launched the asymmetric war rage in Nam, having warped BW revoke into "our money your problem" logic, then into Reaganomics FIRE economy blast-off, then into NWO hubris and slave labour arbitrage kleptocracy; now wonder why the financial derivative soup is depriving people of basic citizen rights and WHY the chickens are coming home to roost in urban dystopia...

What you sow all over the world you now reep on the streets of Ferguson, Detroit and Baltimore.

Karma for the Indians, boomerang times for the Australian aborigines, song of Geronimo for those bygone Apaches, lost frontier for the poets who have dreamt their nation was land of Hawkeye and Chingachgook, multicultural new land.

" having shot the man who said : I have a dream"

More accurate to say shot the man who plagiarized the 'I have a dream' speech by Archibald Carey and claimed it as his own.

The black social inferiority complex is driven by two factors. One, a great many of them don't know who their father is and two they are too lazy to get a proper education and learn to speak proper English. Their neighborhoods are shit holes because THEY made them that way. They are like five year old still wearing diapers. They think its always someone else's job to clean up their shit, never their own.  Those blacks who do get an education and a good job move as far away from the ghetto as fast as they can. Trouble is there are those who, even if successful, will believe the "remember where you came from" bullshit and bring the lowlifes and the degenerate culture back into their midst.  Then the cycle of drugs, violence and gangs renews itself and before you know it you've got another shitty neighborhood just with newer homes.

Agreed 100%. Not excusing them but bear in mind that American blacks have an average IQ of about 85.  This puts them at a severe disadvantage trying to compete in a techno-industrial society. It's also accompanied by a less developed pre-frontal cortex which leads to impulsiveness and poor planning capabilities. All the problems we see today come from an unwillingness to recognize these crucial facts. Instead trillions of dollars have been expended on a futile attempt to 'bridge the achievement gap' (which of course remains as wide as it was fifty years ago) and other misguided AA and 'equality' measures..

Indeed. More than one std deviation is a difficult obstacle, but there are still plenty of jobs in construction, maintenance etc. that don't require higher intellectual capacity.  But they don't want pursue them so the central Americans do.

So many think that they should just be given middle mgmt position as some sort of reparations, skill, ability and talent be damned. And then if they are given an AA job because of sick white guilt they then get fired because of incompetence and sue claiming racism and get paid because the employer simply want to avoid the grief and bad publicly.

This then at least adds to new Cadillac and BMW sales.  They then proceed run them into the ground just like their neighborhoods.

Just another example of a moron telling everyone else "we just don't get it". The immigrant hispanic and asian cultures are thriving in my area. Their common traits: commitment to families, absolute focus on education and hard, entrepenuerial work. It is not easy but it is clearly a recipe for success in their new homeland. P.S. They are leaving the thugs, killa's, bitches and ho's, uneducated and unwed in the dust. Don't tell me we don't get it. We all know what the problem is, we just do not want to have to admit it. It is an awful shame and an awful waste of 50 years of failed programs and preferences. All the while America now ranks 19th in the world in academic achievement which drags down the middle rather than lifting the bottom. Shameful.

Don't know about Asians but the myth of Hispanic family values is just that: A myth. Check the figures for non-marital births, domestic violence, divorce rates etc.

The poorest among us are fat as pigs and dumb as rocks.

The mindset among the blacks is so fucked up it probably can never be changed. They're stupidly fucked, they kept their hand out to be filled with treats if they'd just stay in their hole, destroy the family unit, and accept the state as their daddy. They allowed it to continue, and like the Mexicans in California, they celebrate failure. There is zero positive leadership, only racist twats like Sharpton.

That's why King and X were removed from the game. It's easier to be a victim and stay stoned. Cosby speaks up, he gets his reputation ruined. Maybe he was an ass demon, I don't know, but he was taken out because of what he says about black culture, not his pussy hunting.

Their frame of mind is so generationally fucked up they'll never get out of the hole. In fact they'll just get worse, more feral, more dependent, more dangerous until eventually the powers that be will get their race war to justify clamping down on all of us at once.

A nation of thugs???  To serve and protect???  Preserving the peace???  The author needs to greet reality - the reality of Jane and Joe Sixpack.  The crime rate has been declining for years.  The thugs nowadays are more likely to carry a badge and and operate under color of authority.  They don't serve and protect them, but, rather, the political class preserving the elitist status quo to keep the rich getting richer, primarily at the expense of the middle class.  The police are not peace officers but law enforcement officers, a subtle role change rife with unfortunate consequences.  They are very unionized and becoming more paramilitarized all the time, the recipients of all kinds of military gear and gradually being rolled into a single national homeland security continuum ultimately controlled at the national level because everything is a crisis.  They are special supercitizens with qualified immunity and a code of omerta enabled by the "justice" industry.   The newly minted United States Federales!

Here's some info on the Freddy Gray issue not being widely reported (entire article can be found here - http://www.realjewnews.com/?p=1028):

The paddy wagon arrives driven by Officer Goodson, a black senior officer with no history of complaints for misconduct or else the media would be screaming it.

Gray starts kicking the rear doors and Goodson calls for assistance to put leg cuffs on Gray.

Because the cops don’t want to risk getting bitten or head-butted by Gray, he was again not seat-belted to the metal bench.

Goodson, driving solo, then makes a “mystery stop” at what turns out to be a neighborhood food market.

Hearing Goodson leave, Gray stands up to slip his hands, cuffed in the back, down over his butt to bring them to the front, as seen in this example.

As reported, the only evidence of trauma was the spinal cord injury diagnosed at the hospital, not visible from the outside, and later the mark of a bolt matching the paddy wagon’s rear door bolt on the crown of Gray’s head.

Police claim the injury was caused when Gray, standing, slammed into the back of the paddy wagon, apparently breaking his neck with a “mark” he sustained on the top of his head that matches a bolt in the back of the transport van.

There are otherwise no other outward signs of trauma.

In order to receive such a mark on the crown of his head, identified as a particular bolt, Gray was facing the rear door and standing bent over close to 90 degrees at the waist.

With Gray bending forward trying to slip his cuffs down while facing the rear door, a normal acceleration would pitch him headfirst into the door, effectively similar to being dropped on his head.

Choose the villian . white or black . now that you have your preconception bend the facts to fit. Oh and scream racist when the story doesn't fit.  No you don't get to define the world because you feel like it no you don't. It has been tried and tried and now the crumbling pieces of some of the black community is abysmally disfunctional. And the bullshit is not going to get better by asking for more of the same. You want dialog you want cooperation. You bring self responsibility first and if it is sincere the help will be there if it is the same old shit go fuck yourself
