You should read the comments of the article you have linked to. They discuss the discrepancies with the photos. Such as, the amusement park is really in Yokohama. Still, even though there are some nice areas around Detroit, I wouldn't want to drive through that city. I won't even get a connecting flight through there.

In all honesty London has really shit areas especially to the east. Oh if you want to make some direct comparisons with run down shit cities in the US pick some equally run down areas in the UK. The most depressing cities being Birmingham followed by Leicester and Coventry. That main camp was designated "Category III" — which meant its inmates were slated for death through labor.
Many of the hundreds of thousands at the Mauthausen complex — Jews as well as prisoners of war, political prisoners, conscientious objectors and other opponents of Hitler's Nazi regime — built war planes and other military equipment in deep tunnels they dug at the auxiliary camps .
But the most unfortunate landed in its huge granite pit. Those assigned to 12-hour days of trying to climb the stairs — uneven slabs, some half a meter (yard) high — died from exhaustion, being shot or after being transferred to barracks for the sick, where lack of care and epidemics decimated the horribly weakened inmates.
The Nazis called the main camp "The Bone Mill." On Sunday, cows grazed on rolling meadows near tidy farm houses within eyesight of the forbidding granite walls of Mauthausen as people in nearby villages went about their business — a scene witnesses have described as not much different than Sundays past, as those inside the walls suffered and died.
Most Austrians denied knowing about the camps until after the war. It took decades for public opinion to swing from the perception that Austria was a victim of Hitler to recognition that it was one of Germany's most willing accomplices after its annexation in 1938.

Invoking the memory of "one of the most horrible chapters in our history," Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann on Sunday urged his countrymen "to never forget and to elevate values such as tolerance, democracy, non-violence and solidarity."

But for Lewitt, 92, of Vienna, the day of liberation was bitter.
With nowhere to go, he and fellow inmates spent their first free night still in the camp. Transferred to Linz, the nearest big city, and then left on their own, they wandered the streets dressed in their camp stripes, hungry, penniless, and lonely as the rest of Austria started picking up from the ruins of war.
"No one cared about us," he says. "It was trauma in the camp and afterward too."
His eyes teared up again Sunday when asked what his thoughts were.
"I survived," he said. "And the others didn't."

The US was drawn into the war by the cabal-puppet Roosevelt (despite our people’s desire to stay out), and England was drawn into the war by the cabal-puppet Churchill (because they financed his villa, and otherwise greased him politically).
We both fought on the wrong side, despite Germany's repeated attempts to ally with England (this is fully documented in diplomatic records).
After the war, Germany ended up demoralized, occupied (the west by the US, the east by Russia), slandered (with cabal-generated falsehoods about German behavior prior to and during the war) and vilified for daring to defy the same cabal that now controls the West.

This war that they wanted, they gave us the right to say that it was their war [190] and not ours. They paid for it the price which one pays for all wars. We have the right not to count their deaths with our deaths.
In spite of the silence imposed on our intellectuals, this effort to pose the Jewish question in concrete terms cannot be eluded. It need not at all be accompanied by anti-Semitism and, for my part, I am not anti-Semitic: I wish on the contrary that the Jewish people find somewhere the fatherland which will enable them to group themselves together. But it seems obvious to me that if I were a refugee in Argentina, I would not concern myself with the internal affairs of Argentina, even if I had obtained the nationality of that country. I would not demand that the Argentinians become the avengers of the persecuted French; I especially would not ask that Argentinians be condemned to death or be imprisoned because they were indifferent to the fate of the French refugees in their land. Why should we feel obliged to avenge and lament in the name of a compatriotism that the law forces us to confess, but which does not touch our hearts? Fraternities [191] are not manufactured. A Jew is for me a man like another, but he is only a man like another; I find it sad that he is massacred and that he is persecuted, but my feeling does not suddenly change, my blood does not suddenly solidify if it is added that he lives in Bordeaux. I do not feel obliged to take up particularly the defense of the Jews, no more than that of the Slavs or that of the Japanese: I would like very much that one cease massacring without reason the Jews, the Slavs and the Japanese, and also the Madagascans, the Indochinese or the Germans of the Sudetenland. That is all. I feel nothing special for the Jews who live in France and I do not see why I should. Moreover, the attitude taken by the majority of the Jews with regard to the purification underscored these divergences of sensitivity which an act of naturalization does not make disappear. Many French were ready in 1944, without partisanship, to feel vividly the inhuman treatment which had been inflicted on the Jews; but today other sufferings, other injustices, much more pressing, have drawn our [192] indignation and even our pity. It is the Jews themselves who organized a switching of victims, a switching of injustice. Let them not accuse us of having no heart: we think first of our own, it is they who wanted it so. The purification left in our country bloody scars which will never be forgotten. I would still do, if I had to do it again, what I did during the occupation for the resistants and even for Jews, but I would do it today as Don Juan gives to poor: “for the love of God,” and with immense disdain. For it is, indeed, only in the name of this love of God and because they were saved like us by Christ, that we can share today in the sufferings of the Jews. Their reaction to the demands of loyalty, honor and the defense of our land was not the same as ours; this solidarity that we had the right to expect, even in times of ideological war, from co-participants in our nationality, we did not obtain from them; today we can have in regard to them only the impression of a separation, of an incapacity to [193] think of unison, of a failure of assimilation.

Of course Jews were the main beneficiaries of the war. And indeed the ones goading the Western countries into war with Germany. A very senior British diplomat, can't remember who, said afterwards that it appeared as if an invisible hand was guiding Britain away from the many peace overtures made by Germany.
Jews got Israel, trillions in 'reparations' from the unfortunate German taxpayer, and probably most valuable of all, the use of the Holocau$t™ to preempt any criticism of Jews and/or Israel through Hate Crime laws.
Qui bono should be the first question asked when trying to solve a crime. War, being the supreme crime against humanity, should be examined in the same way: who benefits?
The financial class of course – or the banksters. The ‘owners of the system’.
It’s laughable that ‘socialism’ is again being thrown in as an ‘actor’ on the global stage. If equality, egalitarianism and the common ownership of the means of production is the goal (and means) of socialism, then what we’ve got today is the opposite. An enormous (not seen in history before) concentration of wealth and power in a very few number of hands (the <0,01%). To call it socialism is pure ignorance. Yes, USA have had decades of anti-left-wing-propaganda (it’s a rarity to meet people from US actually having a clue about ideologies – maybe different variances of right-wing ideologies. Some of them labelled ‘socialist’ by the propagandists – like the democrats/progressives or whatever. All servants of the oligarchy), but that's not an excuse to keep being ignorant on these issues. It does matter what we call the current system - it creates/and limits the possible solutions.
You might call the current system socialism for the rich (but that’s an oxymoron). It’s fascism. Pure and simple. A merging of state and private power. The definition of fascism.
And yes, the Nazis used socialism in their party-name. They were masters of propaganda and knew the socialists had popular support = the tapped into that support without having any socialists ambitions.
