Today for example, I was talking to a few few during lunch about real estate and the best way to hear everything is to act like they are the smartest in the room. And well, everybody here truely believes real estate will double in the next 5 years.
So I asked them: I bought my house for 250k in the year 2001, now after 15 years it’s up to a value of 630k. That 250k was expensive and who the hell will pay that 630k? And who will be able to pay at double that price 1.2 million?
Do you know what they answered?
No problem!!! You can loan money for you house and don’t downpay anything ever, you just pay interest which is at 1.2% for a house.
so... that would be about 1450 euro’s a month... I know people who pay 2k for a house like mine with paying down the same house so in their mind, it could even tripple from current prices.
Now if that price would actually become facf, I’d sell, stop working and live the vie la loca!
So people don’t see anything wrong with negative rates which actually kill our economic future and all is well. The only problems seems to be muslims and old people.
