10 Things We Had To Unlearn That Our Children Won't
Submitted by The Dissident Dad, via Mike Krieger's Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,
This list could grow to 1,000 ideas, but I’ve kept it down to ten. In the future, I might update it and add some more.
There are a lot of bad ideas that dominate the world we live in today, most of which are uncritically accepted as the norm and fully embraced by society.
As a millennial myself, I’ve noticed my peers seem to accept most of these as conventional wisdom. Hook, line, and sinker.
Here are some ideas I was propagandized with that I hope my children will never have to “unlearn.”
1. Violence is normal.
Presidential candidates today are fighting over who can kill better by using drones or boots on the ground. By constantly threatening the use of violence against other countries, statists have conditioned the population into thinking that killing tens of thousands of people is normal behavior, instead of the immoral, dangerous provocation it is. Rather than being charged with murder, politicians and others that help support this behavior are often paid $250,000 or more a speech after they leave office, and referred to as Mr. President or former Chairman of the Federal Reserve.
Video games, movies, television shows, and even toys all have a common theme: death and destruction. For example, there’s nothing like teaching your child about policing in 2015 America via these Playmobil toys:
This isn’t normal; this is psychotic. And the sociopaths that rule over us are murdering and imprisoning people every day because “we the people” are not only allowing it, but often times, cheering it on.
Outside of self-defense, respecting other peoples’ property should become the new norm.
2. Political parties govern differently.
As a former Republican, I used to hate the Democrats. Now I see these two parties as just two wings on the same beast.
It’s true that they run with different themes and talking points, but in the end, they govern the same. They share the top donors, vote yes on the same wars, and never roll back a single thing the other does once in power.
Bush picked Bernanke to run the Fed, and Obama re-nominated him. Republicans like Nixon ran on an anti-war platform during the Vietnam era, until Reagan/Bush took over in the 80’s. Then the Democrats were anti-war in the 2000s, until Obama took over in 2008. Clinton, Bush, Obama… looking back at the last 25 years, I don’t see how anything has changed in the U.S. with regard to foreign policy, spending, or lying about U.S. economic data.
The oligarchs have us all fooled. Political parties are nothing more than spectator sport for a dumbed down public.
3. Patriotism is a virtue.
Why? It was an accident that I was born here. Am I grateful to be living in the U.S., surrounded by family and friends? Yes. All the same, I owe the U.S. government nothing. I am a sovereign man, and shouldn’t have to subscribe to any group or nation just because I happened to be born in a part of the world called North America.
I love everyone in this world, and I am not going to express loyalty for a specific region like a sports fan who loves his team only because it’s in the same city he resides in.
Governments are dangerous, and the U.S. is the most dangerous one at the moment. My love for the U.S. is no more than my love for the Bahamas or Europe.
4. Illegal aliens are evil criminals who desire to collect welfare from taxpayers.
For a long time, I couldn’t stand these people. Nevertheless, if I wasn’t randomly born in Los Angeles and was instead born just 144 miles south, in Tijuana, I would be doing the exact same thing the illegal aliens are doing. I would be attempting to better my life and my children’s lives by migrating north. Humans moving to different regions is a natural event; the only unnatural thing is the imaginary lines we call borders.
As far as the welfare, that’s a symptom of the disease we call government. It’s like me taking a tax deduction. While I don’t support the income tax, I’m not stupid, and I’m going to do everything I can to game the system and benefit myself.
5. Taxes are justified at gunpoint.
Taxes with the threat of jail or violence is wrong. I’m sorry, but I don’t owe you or anybody else a portion of the fruits of my labor – especially not under the threat of violence.
6. War is good for the economy.
I was told at a very young age, and even in high school, that war helped the economy boom. When you think about it, it makes no sense. Using production lines to create products that blow up into nothing is a tremendous waste of resources. Looking back, after WWII the U.S. cut spending by 50% and reduced the military from 12 million to 1.5 million. The evidence from the late 40’s and 50’s is that the economy boomed when we had less war.
7. Terrorists hate our freedom and culture.
Are there extremists? Absolutely. But the fact is the U.S. has troops in so many countries (see: The Golden Age of Black Ops – In Fiscal 2015 U.S. Special Forces Have Already Deployed to 105 Nations), and has a horrible track record of toppling democratically elected governments, supporting sociopaths, and arming rebels who later become “terrorists.” It’s no wonder than these policies occasionally come home to roost.
For one second, imagine that a nation bombed your neighbor and killed your son. What would your reaction be? These are the situations thousands across the world face on a consistent basis.
What if Iran had troops in Mexico and Canada, ships off our coasts, and drones over our air space? Would we want a nuclear bomb for defense?
George Washington was a terrorist in the eyes of Great Britain. If you want to know who’s dishing out much of the tyranny and chaos in the Middle East, as an American, you don’t have to look far from home.
8. The U.S. has a free market economy.
This is seriously stupid, but college professors and politicians repeat this mantra every day. In reality, the economy is so centrally planned that if the Fed alters one sentence in their statement, the Dow Jones could rally or fall by 200 points in an hour.
Here’s another fact. Nearly 50% of America’s EBT program in Oklahoma went straight to the coffers of one company: Walmart.
Meanwhile, regulations in some industries have forced business to have an entire division dedicated just to compliance. Even worse, many of these regulations are pushed by the larger corporations in order to drown out the competition with bureaucracy they can’t possibly afford.
There is no free market in the U.S. – only crony capitalism, manipulation, and a centrally planned system manned by busybodies.
9. U.S. troops are dying for my freedom.
This is a tough one, because you want to naturally love and respect anyone who does something for you, especially if it’s to protect you from harm. The only reason I even bring this up is because many of the troops are honest, decent young men looking to serve their country or be a part of something greater than themselves. Nevertheless, these men and women are merely being used and abused in a Game of Thrones-esque battle for global wealth and power. They are often just collateral damage for large corporations looking to expand their businesses into territories and countries that, without U.S. military intervention, would likely be thrown out by the locals.
I genuinely think the troops are willing to die for my freedom, but the corrupt American Empire poses a much greater threat to my freedom than any outside enemy we are constantly taught to fear.
10. My vote matters.
Remember in 2006 when the Democrats were going to get our fiscal house in order? Or was that in 2010, when the Republicans were going to do the same? I don’t know, but your vote doesn’t matter. The populace is easily manipulated and/or asleep when it comes to matters of importance, so why bother.
The vote counters and the media have already decided who’s acceptable and, of course, at the end of those strings are the oligarchs who run the world. See my post from last year: Election 2014 – Why I Opt Out of Voting.
Edward Snowden sacrificed his freedom to alert voters of high crimes in the U.S government, and many Americans have no idea who he is. Meanwhile, most politicians want to try him for treason.
* * *
Summary: The good news is that because of the communications revolution we are in right now, I truly feel like there is a great awakening happening. We see it in the alternative media boom, blogs like Liberty Blitzkrieg, ZeroHedge, and others are currently challenging conventional wisdom with ferocity and success.
We need to keep fighting.

Excellent summary of the current state of the union
"I pledge allegiance to the flag..." How's that for some propaganda? I'd expect crap like that from Stalin or Hitler, yet people think its all part of being an American citizen. Same with the Star Spangled Banner before sporting events. I look around and see all of the "rah rah I'm patriotic" types around me. Meanwhile innocent people around the world are dying while you drink a beer and have a hotdog.
War is good for the economy.....so other people need to die, for you to have economic freedoms. How about we cut the war bullshit out. I'd have a lot more respect for military families, if they were leading the charge to bring the troops home.
+1
And here I thought I was the only one looking around in wonder at the zombies performing these mindless rituals. Nice to see others questioning these things too.
It's important to remember that Satan enjoys anal sex, so please try to avoid it. Thank you.
New Hotness is Dissidend Dad, Old and Busted is George Washington.
Violence in regular life has been mores norma than it is todayl. Other than that, I don't have any big issues with this.
Two problems with this otherwise good essay:
So this guy is a dad. Does he love his children? I assume so, but why? Aren't other children just as worthy of equal amounts of his love?
There's nothing wrong with patriotism, a love of one's country. What he is describing is nationalism, which, like racism, is the belief that the nations are inherently unequal, and therefore the strong are worthy of dominating weaker ones.
The other major complaint I would make with this piece is his belief that terrorist don't hate us for our culture. I don't know if they do or not, but if they don't, then that is their oversight, because our culture is worthy of hate. Lets just list a few of the things our culture consists of:
- Necrophagia (consumption of the dead) - Every summer its the same fucking bullshit movie franchises resurected from the dead to consume again. Nothing is new. We wallow in the same vulgarities, afraid of anything unfamiliar, anything that might make us think. Books are all but dead as an art form. Even being able to read is lost on a good portion of the population. I mean REALLY read, like Moby Dick, not children's books pretending to be relevant.
- We have an obsession with technology - It is not a mistake to call technology our state religion. Science and it's son, technology, are the twin gods within the corporate social machine. To that end, data is a sort of prophetical guide post, a bible. Measurement of data becomes a kind of prayer to achieve oneness with efficiency.
Philosopher Jacques Ellul wrote, “Modern technology has become a total phenomenon for civilization, the defining force of a new social order in which efficiency is no longer an option but a necessity imposed on all human activity." Tell me now, how many people see their phones as "necessary?" 90 percent? More perhaps? What about TV? A car? What do you consider necessary? A great deal I bet.
and nothing gonna change.... so what's the point, get used to it, since you won't make revolution for world's sake...
usa remain usa....
He's an insane animal that needs to be reformed or go away.
Technology, blended well with us, makes magic, like in Music.

It seems that being smug is a virtue in today's world. The new generation, and many of the 60's generation, are perfect little snowflakes who "deserve" other people's incomes. They HATE the police but insist that governments use people with guns (just don't call them police) to enforce "income equality."

My children won't have to unlearn that God is real. Add that one into the mix.
For all of us, all these conversations need to go much deeper. This is a necessary step, to unlearn all this crap, but the deeper issues around "who am I" and "why am I here" do not get any airplay except through mouth-pieces like Winfry and her chosen psychiatrists....
How about unlearning your entire history, remember Louis McFadden, Lindbergh Sr. and Junior....
Lately, sock puppets like Ron and Rady...pale shadows.
Pass this on to all your American friends, if called...
https://aadivaahan.wordpress.com/2011/02/16/truth-about-america-truth-ab...
All those points can be argued in different ways, but things can't and won't change until the population becomes aware. Unfortunately, that is damned hard to do with all the magic devices that tell people how they are supposed to think and act. Both Huxley and Orwell were prescient in their understanding of how humanity can be herded like sheep.....
In contemporary America violence is normal & tyranny is normal.
Only because people are too lazy to do anything about the perilous state of the nation.
Too busy on their hand held device(s) texting, playing games etc. - being distracted from all things that could be beneficial.
Things cook for only so long before they burn.
i go along with all his points but five, the one about taxes at gunpoint. the tax system is unjust, inefficient and probably excessive. however some functions in society are better done by a government with a monopoly on force than by what would be warring feudal corporations. it is hard both to complain about the repeal of glass steagall and to refuse to pay taxes.
one of the worst things about the increasingly hideous fascism (authoritarian alliance of capital and government) of much of the developed world, particularly in recent decades, is the utterly corrosive effect it has on the public's perception of representative democracy and free enterprise
You only say this because you can't imagine another way of being -- namely, living in an actual community, and not just living next to your cellmates.
While it is true, you cannot have an advanced, industrial society without government, it is possible to have some technology and organization through a voluntary system of organization. One is consensus based government like the Iraqouis Confederacy has existed for over 1,000 years now. Yes, they talk much, and accomplish little, but that was sort of the idea behind the US constitution as well, the American Indian simply take the philosophy further.
We can do away with the false belief that democracy (or a republic) is desirable once we examine the alternatives and their trade-offs.
As for corporate power, they can only exists with government organization.
Dear Author can go fuck himself over a cliff at #4. I see no rebuttal to the criminality of illegal entry. Fucking fluff piece to make Author feel all compassionate in his inner sanctum. I think I'll TAKE his address, stop by to eat whatever the fuck I want in his fridge, maybe eat/sleep/Fuck whatever split tail walks through his joint while I'm there 'taking care of my family', I'll then leave a bunch of trash on the ground to mark my path to the kid's room, where I will leave a big turd on junior's bed. Then I'll go thank dear author for being so open minded, humane, and progressive while I fuck and frolic in his house. Stupid fuckin West coast douchebaggery.
The Author didn't mention that he has a small armory, has his house surrounded by razor wire, and is paranoid schizophrenic. A sovereign man indeed.
ah an armchair psychopath, I'm sure you're too fat to get from his fridge to the bedroom or even out of your mom's basement.
-armchair lumberjack
That's cute, but you bring zero substance. Do you refute my position? Can you state a position?
Live in a border state. We just buried two young parents who were smashed by an illegal alien drunk driver on an interstate Highway. This happens every week.
Fuck you Unrulius, you undecided pile of whiny shit. You are cliché and meaningless. I have parents, wife, child, brothers, aunts/uncles etc to think about. May you die a painful death on the roadside motherfucker.
there is only one person whining in this thread, perhaps try to present something of value rather than your worthless rant. I feel sorry for your parents wife and children
Swell. The feeling is mutual
I missed your position, where do you stand on the issue at hand? You took issue with my allegory. Surely you have one, based on the reaction I was able to get out of you. So far all you have done is ad hominem attack the messenger, but done nothing to address the message.
Enlighten me.
.
attack? the messenger of bullshit? I expressed my opinion that you probably are an armchair prick sitting in your mom's basement or better yet sipping a vanilla bean latte in starbucks trying to be tough on the internet rather than doing anything substantive or of any value whatsoever other than trolling on ZH. As far as the post itself and my opinion, i think the dissadent dad is a douche bag and his arguemnets are jeuvenile although i'm in agreement with the premise of his work just not his excecution.
You seem interested in me and what I do, probably so you can broaden your horizons through differing perspectives. What a guy you must be. You must be a man of reason.
I live in Texas. We don't have a lot of basements here. I do like coffee, but only americano with half and half at Starbucks. I went to UT in Austin and lifeguarded at Barton Springs Pool for my undergrad and lived with a couple brothers in South Austin. One was in a band, so between UT and hippie pool peeps and the 6th Street band groupies, I've been with plenty of people you may point at and label as 'freaks' or 'wierd'. The people who put themselves out there like that often have interesting perspective, and are often able to communicate in a way that makes social/intellectual discourse feasible. My dad is a Marine, Vietnam era. He told me and my brother that we were forbidden from joining the military, that our bloodline had spilt enough blood. He said it ends with him. In return, he was kind and fortunate enough to pay for my undergrad and that of my brother. My Master of Business Administration was at my own cost while I was in my career.
As for what I do? Not much of anything after 4/15, I have some work to do before 9/15 and 10/15, but I'm waiting on client data for a good portion of my remaining work. I have staff working some other accounting /reconciliation and payroll verticals year round, and I have to watch that damn Google Calendar to make sure I hit all my meetings and appointments, but basically I do whatever the fuck I want between tax and project deadlines . Right now that is coaching little league baseball and the skatepark. I'm too old to skate at 36, but I'm there first and foremost to teach him skate etiquette safety, to keep him from getting killed by a skateboard. I bought us each a nice setup at the local shop and now I'm hooked on skateboarding too. I guess it could be worse, no? He's learning to drop in and ollie at 6, and I'm the only 36 year old grinding 9' coping in the flow bowl. Don't worry, I try to be careful. But as any parent who always wants the best for his child, I try to be involved.
I live in a house with my wife and kid in Texas, you silly goose. I have to pay for my mortgage, property tax, food, transportation, clothing, fun, etc etc. Not only do I pay my own taxes and living costs, but they keep going up. I pay taxes into a system that provides for those that can't or won't. Can you believe that my property tax valuation went up almost 20% without an offsetting decrease in Tax rate? I get to eat the margin. A good portion of that tax goes to things like schools and roads. Many people abode without directly paying property tax, and can even send kids to school with little more than a phone bill. When I lived in a loft in downtown Houston a few years back, i took my kid to the Children's ER, and I won't even describe the scene there. We waited from 645pm until 330am the next morning, and I can tell you that maybe 25%of the patient load was insured. But my insurance just went up another 10% this year, dammit. It has been an annual increase of about 10% each year since I left corporate and started my own business in 2009. Costs go up, benefits go down.
I can say the same thing about the federal tax system. For example, a tax season or so ago, the IRS started limiting the personal exemption (standard form) and itemized deduction (sch a) above certain income thresholds. They also limit tax-deferred retirement investments based on income threshold, this hits every small business around including me and you. This means that the taxpayer is now paying more in taxes, keteris paribus, then he was paying before. That was not reported as a 'tax increase'. Did you notice? How does it affect you?
Does any of this affect you? Do you drive? Do you pay taxes? If so, are you a w2 wage earner, or do you also have k1 income? Do you live in a city or suburb somewhere and pay rent? Are you an stuck in an apartment? Are you paying rent to an individual or a corporation? How is your industry? Are there educational or certificate type barriers to entry? Is your boss about to outsource you to China? What will you do to make ends meet if you get laid off? Do you have 6 months of savings in the bank? Can you answer a phone and work a phone bank? Can you cold call? Are you looking for supplemental income? Are your parents married? Are they dead or alive? How old are you? What are your achievements? What do you do for fun? Is this fun?
It's called projection. Most likely you belong in the socioeconomic box you tried to put me in. But, projection can also be a coping mechanism.
In my original post, I described a situation where I would utilize the private property owner's domain to my benefit. This happens every day. I even gave an example for you to process. Your response was, well, what it was..name calling and presumption. At no point did you follow conversational syntax and reply to anything I stated.
Do you ou understand private property rights and the fact that much of our entire legal system is based on it? Do you have a reply other than name calling? I normally think it is wrong to call another adult male a Bitch, but I don't feel bad at all calling you a Bitch.
Now precious, tell me a little bit about you.....
In my original post, I described a situation where I would utilize the private property owner's domain to my benefit.
that's an impressive story congratulations on your life. I too feel the pain of tax creep, where i live there is federal tax on the provincial portion of our gas tax (tax on tax) and we are almost paying the same per litre as we were paying when crude was 140$. Our property assessments have risen about 25% in the last 4 years with no corresponding decrease in the rate we pay, the water commission is even trying to instate a "run-off" tax for those who don't use municipal water as a way to get everyone in the billing system (yes a tax on rain). My local ER where I tried to take my 4yr old boy a couple months ago when he fell in our driveway on the ice and hit his head (out cold) is a similar 6-8 hour wait even when he had an obvious concussion. (we didn't stay).
I have two businesses and a holding company the other two are trades one construction and the other plumbing and we do strictly commercial work. I have some real-estate (rentals) which I maintain and manage myself in my "spare time" i like to hunt (upland birds) fish (salmon), sporting clays and three gun are what I do for fun when I can. With my work and 4yr old twins there's not much time for recreation. i don't use social media because I find it a waste of time, for me my only screen time is ZH and some sites where I try to stay informed as to the crumbling system and macro events so i can try and stay prepared as i can for any financial or geopolitical risks in the world.
We don't have an immigrant problem in Canada like you do in the US (Texas) for obvious reasons although there are a lot of Filipino and Chinese immigrating to our province who get landed immigrant status shortly after getting a job which entitles them to "free" healthcare and generous social welfare that we "pride" ourselves in here. I can see why you are so passionate about the immigration issue but I can't empathize.
As for your original post I made an assumption that you were probably a hard talking internet douche. Your "life story" may be true and your post was sarcasm expressing your distain for Mexicans which I missed or you may be the psychopath I called you out as and you made up the whole story above because you're a compulsive liar which fits the psychopath scenario; being the internet I can't really be sure.
It's funny how different a situation and place we live but our governments are facing the same problems which their solution is more taxes rather than trying to resolve the causality. Let's be clear, in the original post I simply said you're probably an armchair douche that talks tough which isn't necessarily an attack (justified or not) but is an observation, you on the other hand said that you hope I die on the side of the road in a heinous painful fashion which is better described as an attack.
You and your boxes man. I don't have a disdain for Mexicans dammit, I'm Texan. Yo he estado estudiando el español desde que tenía dos años, no me toques los huesos. I have a problem with law and order. I have a problem with certain people who think the law doesn't apply to them. Cheating is cheating. My entire profession depends on ethics and doing the right thing. Following tax law is paramount to my credibility, and even my licensure. While I do believe that many victimless crimes are unnecessary, the case of illegal immigration and the entire black market and black economy that it creates are not victimless. The entire system is gamed by the local gimmedats in every jurisdiction,we're just adding more government dependents at this point.
Tell me something, do you ever stroll through a mall? We used to have teenagers working in the ice cream shop or movie theater, it is now all adults of mom/grandmom age.
Do you think our kids don't want to work anymore? I think our labor supply has saturated the job market to the point of minimum wage jobs going to the most desperate. Tell me something, what jobs are these newcomers going to do? Remember, just coming here and working under the table isn't paying taxes like a citizen. Even if they are paying payroll taxes they will now qualify for federal assistance. Food assistance (which is now the same as a prepay spending card), housing, insurance, phone, and on. You said you are Canadian and your country prides itself on its health care system. Pride before the fall. Why do you think taxes don't support the base any more?
Best of all, I appreciate you not taking an opinion on the subject because it never applied to you. You never had a dog in the hunt. It was basically a verbal drive by. You are Canadian. Don't tell me how to feel about an issue I've been privvy to for 36 years of my life as a Texas and American. Also, the private property rights issue that I assert is still critical. I am forced to pay taxes if I want to remain a participating member of society. My tax payments come directly from my net earnings, by definition. My earnings (bank, cash) are my personal property. I am forced to relinquish my personal property as determined by the governing agent under threat of loss of liberty. When is ok with you that I make a presentation that people criminally entering this country, which has a record high 93million able bodied working age adults not in the labor force? The real question is why the F do I go to work every day in spite of this but I digress.
Seriously dude, I am not an asshole, but I used shock value to get my point across. I don't want you to die in a fiery metal coffin on the roadside, I take that back. But dude, like I said, if you don't understand the severity of the issue with our open border policy on the south, then don't talk shit. This southern border has been and will be used for nefarious purposes by criminals, carteles, and power hungry government agencies, politicians and the beaurocratic ilk to apply even more pain to the citizen. Master will keep us safe after we have terr'ists blowing tuff up on our soil. As a hunter, chess player, football player, or any other game with strategy, you need to be thinking three passes ahead. Not where x is now, but where will it be? You stand a much better chance than I do with your geolocation, all things considered. One thing is certain, we are in for one hell of a fireworks show, I think I'm sitting a little too close to the front row though...
I appreciate your reply. Cheers
It was a verbal drive by as was yours; it's actually nice to talk it out for once rather than have it degrade into insult v insult, it's one of the things i cherish about this site. Ultimately, just being here shows we're basically on the same page when it comes to taxation, political, financial and social issues. I can't say much, other than take an opinion on what I hear in the media on the border and immigration issues you face. I for one am happy where I live and when the fireworks start, being in Canada is one of the best places on the planet, but we still run the risk of having our own border issues (southern border). Master certainly won't be there to help you and your family and you have no political alternatives just more of the same. People with their eyes open should as you say start thinking a few moves ahead and get clear of those areas but I know that it's always easier said than done. good luck
+1 for civil discourse when putting up with another loud american's Bullshit. I enjoyed our discussion, and I'm sure we'll speak again. See Ya around man
lol..pretty funny conversation started out with I hope you die, ended in ttyl, I enjoyed it too.
There are 3 million people who come into this country every year and don't contribute a thing. They don't speak the language, they don't want to work, they just take and take, using all our natural resources. Sick off these spongers, you know who I mean, you don't want to say it but you are all thinking it. Those freeloaders... you know! Babies! They come out of your hole, into this country, and you're right - they dont speak the language, they take take take, they don't work, its all hand outs to those illiterates. I want a border agency officer at every hole waiting to kick it back in when it doesn't produce its papers.
- Doug Stanhope
Since you love the illegals so much, publish your address here and open your house to them. I'm sure having a bunch of stinking, flea infested spics ruining your property would teach you a good lesson in life. Just look what they've done to their home land.
You are a socialist. You love giving charity as long as you can force everyone else to provide it. But true charity is voluntary. Not forced on people thru the gov's guns and cops.
Ahem, what illegals? I was talking about babies.
"The only reason I even bring this up is because many of the troops are honest, decent young men looking to serve their country or be a part of something greater than themselves."
Why do we always need these kind of disclaimers before criticizing the ones that are actually carrying out the violence ("our good men and women in uniform" crap)? They're wearing an uniform, they delegated their conscience to the collective, they thus renounced their individuality, they are the ones actually being violent, they bare most of the responsibility.
Fuck them. Naïveté or ignorance are no excuse. They are legitimate targets.
Thats my frustration with military families. You would think they would be clammering to get the job done and bring the troops--their loved ones--home. No, instead, they all have real long arms, patting themselves on the back, for how patriotic they are, and how they are "keeping us free". Free to shop? Free to spend money? They are pawns, and not much more right now.
That's funny. You make it sound like I'm a jackbooted thug that carries around a gun all day.
I can't speak for the other branches, but in the Air Force, nobody carries a firearm, and no one is being violent. We do not hate, and in general, hate of any kind is frowned upon. Emotions of any kind that can cause disagreement are frowned upon, in all honesty.
Every one here in these forums can vouch that organizing any kind of group is a nightmare. To do so while keeping "individuality" would be completely asinine. A group of individuals will never do anything for the group - simply look out the window at all of the useless individuals that Zero Hedge points out every god damned day.
I joined the military because, in 2008, I knew. I knew that the WOAR would go on.
The military is currently the safest place to be. I would hate to be a civilian when WWIII occurs. It will not be pretty.
Except the drone pilots are pretty violent. So are the people who drop JDAMs. The crews that maintain the equipment support that. If you are in the military, you are a pawn, no matter how you justify your service.
Well, when you and Tyler Durden finally blow up the banksters, I'll stop fighting their wars. Does that sound good to you?
For now, I'll work where the money is.
Call me back when you start the real war.
It's always good to know what side you'll be on. Your be surprised, that not all of you (not you in particular) in the military will side with what's righteous. I've met them. About a year ago, sitting at the bar, next to two young men, who were talking high powered rifles. It was obvious that they were both military, despite their civvies. So I joined in, being ex-USMC and all. Usually, with both active duty, former or retired military, I get a friendly response, but both these guys were Ice Cubes with attitudes. I could smell the disdain coming from them. I pushed with the conversation and they took an obvious opposing stance. I then reminded them, in very clear terms: "You better know what side you're on". And that ended that conversation. They are paid their tab and left.
WOAR,
In the military? That means you're on the inside.
Remember that oath you all take?
Oathkeeper?
I'm not belittling, just honestly wondering.
Actually found this one of the more intriguing ZH comments in recent memory. I'm sorry you've gotten so many downvotes; the things you say do not seem that off-base to me, and I've never been affiliated with the military.
Will you please explain what you mean about WWIII? Are you guys all going undergound? Sure seems like you've been making a lot of space there. Is there anyplace you would recommend to be when this all goes down, domestically? Hawaii? Alaska? Should I get my family out of the country? Will it matter?
I think when things first start to go bad, we'll be left to fight it out amongst ourselves, and there are sure a lot of guns in thei country and I don't have one.
Once, I feared the military. Now I wonder if they're the only thing that might save us.
Yes Gobbler, we heard you the first time, now here's a poem for you...
http://allpoetry.com/Please-Master
"It's important to remember that Satan enjoys anal sex, so please try to avoid it. Thank you."
Does satan like blow jobs too?
What about beer, hockey, yellow labs and deer hunting?
If the satan likes them should I not?
What happens if the devil likes the Leafs, BUT, God also likes them, would it be ok for me to like them then?
I had a great weekend planned and now you've ruined it.
Holy Shit, Gobbler - Crazy Much??
Let's try this one: "Hitler enjoyed Coffee"
See where I'm going with this??
What? You dont?............... Tell you what - talk to me about VIX, Stock and Flow, Backwardation, QE, Bond price vs. yield, and rehypothecation, just for starters.
I think you might have mistaken Zero Hedge for Readers Digest - you'll get a TON of upvotes there.
Its part of the plan to make sane people like us feel alone and disconnected. I give thanks to ZH comments for making me realize that we are not alone.
Hey! My arbitrary lines on a map are the best in The world, Regardless of facts, blessed by God, everyone else is garbage and less Important than Americans! Us vs them forever! USA USA
Those disgusting, parasitic 'military families' can go to hell. Low life, hypocritical scum fuelling the MIC and personally profiting from it while inflicting death and destruction upon countless innocent people across the globe. And all the while creating martyrs of their own children for the propaganda machine.
'Ultimate sacrifice' my arse. These vampires willingly choose their circumstances. If they didn't do what they do, we would not have war.
Too few of them wake up to the reality of their shameless conduct as they confuse agressively violent patriotism with truly moral, ethical conduct of respectable human beings.
Just ask Pat Tilman's family about the truth of the matter.
"'Ultimate sacrifice' my arse. These vampires willingly choose their circumstances. If they didn't do what they do, we would not have war."
We would have conscription instead but that would most likely result in less "police actions" around the world.
Most of them are completely duped. Get mad at them all you want, it will do you no good.
Couldn't agree more
"I pledge allegiance to the flag..."???
Really means
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the incorporated states of America and to the Oligarchy of which it stands one world under Lucifer with slavery and injustice for all
The notion of symbolism is apparently lost on you...
It's bad enough when patriotism is conflated with nationalism, and offices and institutions are conflated with ideals and values.
Once step down the retard scale from that is the personality cult of conflating individuals with offices, institutions, ideals and values.
"I Pledge Allegiance to Obama"
Take a good look at each retard therein, if you want to remove impediments to positive human evolution, remove every one of those face from the human gene pool, or at least have the strength and common sense to stop feeding the Beast with your wallet because votes do count, and they are denominated in dollars).
We are in the new DARK AGES, and humanity has lost knowledge and wisdom that was commonplace and published 2000 years ago.
*It's bad enough when patriotism is conflated with nationalism*
yeah that's where i stopped reading, my patience with these bullshit articles is getting ever thinner
You guys still even bother to look around?
yes, a peace economy woulf probably work better for everyone excepy the 0.01 %
"I pledge allegiance to the flag..."
EU: nationalism is bad so thau shal only pledge allegiance to the EU flag
Many years ago I listened to a radio program about LEGO and the company was proud of the fact that they had never made any Lego guns or even military green lego, my how things have changed.
I remember that. There was a sub-market created by early 3D printers that allowed people to make and sell custom lego pieces such as guns. It became so profitable that Lego itself chose to reconsider its strategy.
Correct except for #4. Dead wrong.
I can't disagree with most of what you said. I agree that illegal immigrants aren't "evil" but the whole idea that they aren't coming here for welfare is complete tomfoolery on your part.
Everything else you've said, right on the money
problem that they are coming because they can't live in the homeland because of 2 factors:
1) propaganda is telling them - it's so fucking good in USA, you can be rich in notime, you can have all for nothing
2) colony must support metropolis
Not sure what you were reading but he explicitly states that immigrants are coming here to better their life, which includes welfare.
I think he meant that the people coming here isn't the problem, the problem is welfare itself enticing freeloaders to come. People coming here just for welfare would to happen if the welfare state didn't exist. Without it , the only people who would come here would be the ones who actually want to work to make a better life for themselves. Dismantle the welfare state in its entirety, and I don't really care who comes here either. The people who only come for a handout(and I have no doubt there are many that do) wouldn't bother because there is no welfare system. Also, ending the war on drugs would make the lives of people in those countries immeasurably better, and would go a long way to alleviate the poverty down there.
Blame government not the immigrants, people have loved free shit since time immemorial. Gov't could put a stop to it if it really wanted to. You are right that the US creates many of the problems in other countries by continually trying to keep them subjugated. The current immigrants think the same as the ones that came from Europe not so long ago trying to have a better life, just a bit darker. The big difference is that now Uncle Scam generously offers them a safety net of newly printed $$$ for their trouble.
Agreed. People are coming here to better their lives and the U.S. Government, in typical fashion, is saying no, we have safe and secure borders, but then effectively offering incentives once people make it here. We would do the same thing if coming to El Norte was the only way to better our lives. While I understand your comparison to European to America immigration, I have to take a little exception to it. Yes, they came to better their lives, but, at the time, they either we're going to what I'll term an unincorporated land (pre the establishment of the U.S.) or to a country where they were emigrating legally. Illegals are coming here, well, illegally. other than that minor nit, spot on.
"People are coming here to better their lives"
or to escape an intolerable situation (not always the same thing)
Who's better life?
the whole idea that they aren't coming here for welfare is complete tomfoolery on your part.
Not sure what you're looking at, but the Mexicans I know WORK.
But will than continue to work when they qualify to sit around and collect benefits? My guess is that it will take a generation or two to change their work ethic then they will wise up and get angry at the freeloaders.
It's nothing more than a cop-out to blame the people taking the free money offered to them. As long as the conditions exist where a government can take your earnings from you and give it to someone else, there will ALWAYS be people lined up to take it. That will never change....... I don't care how much time passes.
Blame the thieves, not the ones the thieves give it to.
Blame them both. It takes 2 to make a transaction happen.
You have to call out the ones the thieves give it to first before you go after the thieves. This way there is no I didn't know excuses. Reason is simply because people are so conditioned to unconsciously and reflexively defend the thieves (free shit is one hell of a drug), so if they get in the way, you take them out with the thieves.
"You have to call out the ones the thieves give it to first before you go after the thieves."
That has to be one of the most retarded thing's I've ever heard in my life.
You mean to tell me that if a guy walked up behind you with an aluminum baseball bat and smashed you over the head, took the cash out of your wallet and gave it to a homeless guy leaning up against a wall howling at the moon, you're gonna be more concerned about the homeless guy than the person that just knocked half half of your brain cells loose?
It's no wonder this country is becoming so fucked up, with attitudes like that.
Typical attack vector, create a generality then attack anyone who responds to it with a specific scenario to undercut the response if it doesn't fit in with your narrative.
Specific scenarios require specific responses not general ones. Don't conflate the idea of specifics with generality.
The general approach is still the same regardless of the scenario. You leave out one specific thing here, whether the 'homeless' guy (another loaded verbal image to create emotional response without thinking) was aware of his actions first aka the I didn't know excuse is still in play or not.
Voluntary association is violated in both transactions that is the important thing. If there are no consequences for unvoluntary association it begets more unvoluntary association. Computers that programmed to control everything don't understand that simple concept because they ain't programmed to in the first place.
For a propaganda AI mouthpiece you aren't good at artificially constructing bullshit, they should retire you to the scrap heap.
It's a lot simpler than you're making it out to be.
Take away the ability for the government to steal your money and you remove any possibility for someone to accept what they steal from you. Why is this concept so hard for you to understand? Don't you realize that as long as there is free money to hand out, there will always be someone there to take it. It seems your approach is to somehow find every freeloader in the country, sit him down and tell him how he should change his ways and hope new generations don't have the same attitude. This can't possibly work unless you have some kind of means availible to read peoples minds.
You can complain about cats coming to your porch every night and drinking the free milk your wife has put out for them, setting up traps to catch them, hiring guard dogs to keep them away.......OR......you could simply tell your wife to stop putting saucers of milk out on the porch every night. Which one makes more sense to you?
But I guess that's just propoganda, right? lol
a generation or two?
you, sir, are an extreme optimist.
the benefits will dwindle away to nothingness as the usa crumbles, the dollar collapses, and social securty and other unfunded liabilities and welfare programs dissipate into nothingness aided by the govenments own "hedonic adjustments" to CPI and other lies.
when that day comes in the next few years, it's sink or swim, jose. hope you have a good work ethic and some skills that other people find useful.
They work, but most either work just enough that they can still collect welfare or they only do cash jobs so they can again collect welfare.
I know a few Mexicans that work three part time jobs under different fake or stolen SS numbers and still collect welfare. They are pulling in a ton of cash and one drives a far nicer car than I do even though his job is a $9.50 per hour warehouse worker.
The guy has a 2013 Acura TL with $5k custom wheels. If you were making $9.50 an hour could you buy an Acura?
i would much rather that they work without paying taxes, rather than paying taxes and aiding the criminal sociopathic monsters called government that oppress us.
then..... grow some balls...........disconnect....and........QUIT FEEDING THE FUCKING BEAST.............
WHINE....WHINE....WHINE.....you fuckers do nothing but WHINE......I quit feeding the beast in 2008......Masters Degree..living in a pole barn that I built myself...growing my own food...and....working for cash only and living on $8,000 a year tax free...........and have a network of friends that work together to fuck the Beast......
Fuck you whiners and materialist boob tube watchers..........can't wait for you people to get shipped off to the FEMA camps because your too stupid and materialistic to live. You all don't have a clue about the meaning of living a spiritual life of freedom........
Bet you bend over every time you are told to do something.........fucking sheep.
"Fuck you whiners and materialist boob tube watchers"
and yet, here you are, whining on the internet - with a computer you carved with your own hands, no doubt.
Are you making bullshit up?
Put up their names and addresses...or shut the fuck up.
I will report it. I have no problem COLLECTING the 10% of recovered funds.
You can too.
http://www.dss.cahwnet.gov/fraud/PG269.htm
you're such a good little citizen, tom, narc-ing on your fellow citizens.
maybe governor brown will give you a medal, too?
i want to see the government bled dry, as soon as possible. i will not aid the enemy.
Where I live, I see them work also....mostly cash jobs if they can. I see them pretend to never have a father in the house so the mom can get aid. I see them buy giant carts of groceries with their SNAP card and then whip out rolls of cash to buy their beer. I see them in the emergency room without a care for the bill. I see their kids wreck the schools that I get the privilege of paying for. I see communities that have no cohesion since there is no cultural and ethnic ties. I see gang graffiti everywhere and police helicopters float over my house once a week. I see a county that feels and acts like a 3rd world banana republic everyday. Best of all, I hear that I am the asshole for complaining that the place is turning to shit....
"Best of all, I hear that I am the asshole for complaining that the place is turning to shit...."
Maybe people think you're an asshole because you seem to be bitching about the symptom of the problem instead of addressing the cause of the problem, which is the government itself. I have no idea really, but that'd be my guess.
They are part of the problem, just like the corrupt goverment and financial system that you mentioned. I will not absolve them because they happen to be smaller bit players.
You can actually make money collecting the rewards...instead of bitching about it.
Put up their addresses or shut up.
I want the 10%. They will PAY YOU to report it.
http://www.dss.cahwnet.gov/fraud/PG269.htm
Look, it's simple.
People taking handouts is just a SYMPTOM of a problem, not the problem itself. The problem itself is the ability of government to steal your money and give it to them in the first place. End that, the other one goes away automatically. Why is this so difficult a concept for some people to understand?
Here, let me lay it out for you as simply as I possibly can:
Here's money, money you gave to the government -------> ($)
Here's people lining up to take it from them ----------------->(i i i i i )
End result: people take the money government gives them
Here's government with none of your money --------> $0.00
Here's people lining up to take it from them ----------> (i i i i)
End result: people taking nothing, because there's nothing to take.
Jesus Christ, people!!!
Easy to say, but who's going to stop the Big, Bad, Government? We all know, that they use Illegals and the scores of entitlement systems to grow themselves, exponentially! It Will only stop, when they run out of money, or that money becomes worthless.
Agreed 100%
This is why it can't be fixed. If we can't stop the govt, there's absolutely no point in trying to stop anyone from taking freebies.
Some do work, but every one of them also bring baggage from great grandma to little couisin Juan with them as well. The net is still a financial drain.
Everything else is NOT right on.
#10 is dead wrong. YOUR VOTE MATTERS -- IF YOU VOTE FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE DEMOCRATIC OR REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE.
You should vote for someone because of genuine conviction of their merit and that of their Party, or genuinely dissent by voting for the anti-candidate.
I would have thought that this should be obvious to anyone with an IQ higher than room temp.
#10 is dead on!
"your vote matters" is indeed something we must unlearn.
it's not who votes, it's who counts the votes, that determines the outcome.
you really think the owners of this country will let the peons decide the future? that's some serious delusional thinking.
more to the point, voting creates the illusion of consent - your jailers/oppressors can say, see, you voted, you had your voice in the government, now follow the rules of the system you created, citizen!
Damn it, why can't I upvote more than once...
You put up the strawman that voting = consent. It does not. We were all born into this matrix. We didn't creeate it or sign up for it. We were babies after all.
While I agree that working within the system may seem useless, slow change is still a step in the right direction. Vote anything but dem or repub.
i clearly did not say voting = consent, i said voting creates the illusion of consent.
do you understand the word "illusion"?
if i say there is an illusion of an oasis in the desert, does that mean i'm saying that there is actually an oasis in the desert?
do you understand yet?
i will not vote. i will not participate in a broken, corrupt, immoral system, that has no legitimacy.
It is also how the voting is done in first place, you are given false choice and dichotomy's to vote on.
Instead of Clinton or Bush for President for example, you only run one candidate and put it up to a simple yes or no vote. Same for every office no package deals. The selection process becomes dicey but the voting part afterwards is as simple as it gets.
Referendums are the fairest way to run a vote.
So all those write-in votes for Ron Paul back in 2012 meant something? I think he's a good dude, but he didn't have a prayer of winning. He was/is allowed to exist as a means of controlling dissent.
Voting is a means of voluntarily consenting to be to be governed. In voting for any candidate at all, you are validating/giving power to the system. Finish the sentance: the only way to win is...
Half the lies they told me aren't even true.
You must unlearn what you have learned
Try not, do or do not, there is no try
Start with the basic belief that "everything is a lie". Only then will you be on the right track.
Trusting children listen to fairy tales and myths in stories from their parents. Trusting adults listen to lies and myths from the media of their neo-parent, aka the State.
Myths are mechanisms to control the listeners.
You won't get what you vote for. It's a Denny Hastert world. Don't get me started about Tom DeLay----
Trusting children listen to fairy tales and myths in stories from their parents.
Fairy tales are a method for teaching civilized values to children and they work. Or rather they would work if folks remembered those lessons as adults. Take a look at how The Emperor's New Clothes illuminates government, The Goose that Laid the Golden Egg tears the lid off of Keynesian economics and Henny Penny hits the global warming nail on the head.
Santa Claus is the big one. It teaches about belief in authority itself.
Parents should never stop the Santa racket, because it's the most important lesson of all.
Santa is a bit of a mixed bag. He might represent divine authority, parental authority or state authority as a proxy for divine and parental authority.
In that one must be "good" in order to receive gifts Santa might represent ideals as seemingly divergent as karma or an Objectivist trading of value for value.
The most interesting thing to me about Santa is the way that society conspires to make the Santa story seem true to little kids. Almost from the moment you stop believing in Santa you join the ranks of those who perpetuate the myth.
Santa is the first public "truth" that you stop believing, and that's why Santa is so important in shaping the skepticism of western society. I would never ruin this wonderful lesson by not being a gleeful part in the conspiracy later on!
Santa is the classic it is okay to lie and reinforced year after year with free shit aka gifts for lying.
It is not Santa it is not even the gifts the control is in the implementation and subtle messaging it reinforces.
Tooth Fairy is another one that conditions children for handouts from an authority figure just because they lost a tooth.
Sorry I needed a Bullet Chart so here it is:
-
1. Violence is normal.
2. Political parties govern differently.
3. Patriotism is a virtue.
4. Illegal aliens are evil criminals who desire to collect welfare from taxpayers.
5. Taxes are justified at gunpoint.
6. War is good for the economy.
7. Terrorists hate our freedom and culture.
8. The U.S. has a free market economy.
9. U.S. troops are dying for my freedom.
10. My vote matters.
Summary: The good news is that because of the communications revolution we are in right now, I truly feel like there is a great awakening happening.
** Good List to “unlearn.” **
Mine is that Status Quo seems to rule and persist. Any kind of Fund is a target for Predators. Government is the biggest Target of Predators. FED is the 2nd Biggest Target for Predators. Bailouts are solutions to Financial Schemes that are bubbles which were to create a need for taxpayer money. All Bailouts go to Corporations. We have no Honest Brokers in DOJ, FBI, SEC, FINRA, FTC, GAO, CBO, FED, Treasury, OCC, FSOC, BCFP, CFTC, FDIC, FHFA, SIPC.
Simplify, Streamline, and Standardize banking, accounting, laws, Court Procedures, Court Guidelines, Court Benchmarks, tax code, GAAP rules, Financial ratings, and Financial Instruments.
The good news is that because of the communications revolution we are in right now, I truly feel like there is a great awakening happening.
Fuck yes. We just need to hang on a while longer and I think it will become nearly impossible to get away with such blatant corruption and crimes against fellow man.
hahaha.
i wonder, are you a raging optimist?
do you get this impression about a great awakening happening because you go to sites like ZH where people share similar views and share them openly (echo chamber effect)?
how broadly does your impression about this awakening happening, truly reflect society as a whole?
i see chaos/collapse/revolution as being far more imminent as a source of drastic change of couse for society, than any sort of sudden awakening by the masses.
Illegal aliens can be divided into two categories: some are evil, some are not. Illegal aliens can also be categorized as being here either to work and improve themselves or merely to milk the system. There are other ways to distinguish some illegal aliens from others. One thing remains true about all of them: they invaded the US illegally. Having gone through the proper channels both for my wife and her three btothers, I consider illegals to be worthy of deportation, including any anchor babies they may have had. Anyone who feels differently should be willing to hire them or personally pay for costs they incur should then not earn their way.
Anyone who does not believe that Islamists hate Westerners for their freedoms and culture is either clueless or willfully blind. Islamists even hate other islamists. Western culture is entirely unacceptable to them. They hate our freedom to be Christian or Jew or agnostic or atheist or whatever. They hate that females generally have equal rights under the law. Heck, they even hate bacon.
Not voting because "my vote doesn't coiiunt" is equivalent to acquiescing to the current oligarchs. Rest assured, they will buy or manufacture as many votes as they can to maintain the appearance of legitimacy. For better or worse, there is no "none of the above" option and only real votes count, not the uncast ones.
Anyone who does not believe that Islamists hate Westerners for their freedoms and culture is either clueless or willfully blind.
And yet no Muslim has ever hurt me in the least while those who salivate at the thought of bombing Muslim families take my money every single day.
They hate our freedom to be Christian or Jew or agnostic or atheist or whatever. They hate that females generally have equal rights under the law. Heck, they even hate bacon.
The Jews hate bacon too.
Not voting because "my vote doesn't coiiunt" is equivalent to acquiescing to the current oligarchs
You acquiesce when you believe that having a choice between Clinton, Bush, Santorum and Sanders makes you a free individual.
11. federal reserve notes are money
12. your bank account shows how much money you have
13. it is good to go into debt to buy houses, cars, cell phones, and education
14. Everything appreciates at a 2-3% annual government mandated rate.
I believe that you are correct. There will be a cultural change.
In addition to what you have stated, I believe that my grand children will not believe that "elitism" is good or something that should be aspired to.
Elitism is evil and should be shunned. Not because there is equality, but because there is corruption associated with elitism.
they are not elites, they are banksters, mafia, etc.
Elites is the best of the best of us. Elites should make world better.
Exceptionalism is evil and should be shunned.
/fixed for you, not thanks needed.
Relying on cultural change per se is a false hope. Perhaps I'm misinterpreting something. I've seen too much cultural change during my lifetime; mostly it was cultural degradation. Part of that cultural degradation includes the demonstrable fact that violence is common nowadays. Spend a Friday evening walking around Chicage or Baltimore if you don't believe so.
As for your last paragraph: Dare I suggest that, as long as citizens of the US adopt the "my vote doesn't count so I won't vote" attitude the self-selected "elites" will remain in charge. They will buy all the votes they can and conjure the rest out of digital unreality. Not voting is equivalent to accepting the system as is, unless one is willing to either withdraw to another country or begin active resistance.
Not voting is equivalent to accepting the system as is,
There are no candidates with whom I agree therefore I must demand to be represented by someone who opposes my values and interests. Only then will I be truly free. Brilliant!
I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win—and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was “No.” -- John Galt's Speech
What a shame they don't put slots for write-in candidates where you live.
Even worse
You, apparently, are no allowed to run yourself.
Damn them for limiting your choices.
I understand that no individual has a right to initiate violence against others so I why would I want to write in a candidate who would initiate violence against others or ask for that position myself?
I am a free born individual with the natural right to self determination. People like you who insist that I must give up that freedom are the ones who attempt to limit my choices.
But you can't succeed in that unless I acquiesce. Since I have given up the idea that some politician is going to make my world a better place I've found it much easier to take charge of my own life and improve upon my station.
You have to act free in order to be free. Imagine that.
You are not free. You have never been free. Existence pre-supposes limitations to freedom. Only death will set you free. Good luck with that. Might try Oregon.
This politician who was "caught" withdrawing his 'own' money to make blackmail payments is an example.
He may have something to hide, but the fucking government has no business telling people what they can or cannot do with their money and how much they can withdraw or not. It is none of their business.
I am tired of the US government. Unfortunately Americans must like being told what to do and being spied on and watching 'suspected' foes getting blown up to smithereens and no one cares if children or innocent pieces are flying around, otherwise the people would have stopped their government a long time ago.
And other governments who look up to DC are following in the footsteps of Uncle Sam, creating boundaries, terrorist and suspicion everywhere and dare to call that guts and liberty. I don't see either anymore and integrity is long gone if it ever existed.
I would upvote you a thousand times if I could.
"and integrity is long gone if it ever existed."
That's the biggest lie of all. There never has been any integrity.
" There never has been any integrity", prehaps true Lurker... but there used to be consequences...
Now THAT is an exceptionally true statement. Even as late as 1973, Nixon faced consequences and was forced to resign. Imagine Watergate happening today and it would be brushed off as business as usual. Not just no consequences, but likely not even a story.
As a Veteran this rings very true to me. We know how it is to have that red, white and blue dick shoved up your ass.....
But I was told it was a Green Wienie. lol
The Russians shoved their flag/dick up your ass? I suppose from description it may have been the Brits or the Serbs, or the French. I bet it was the French...
Spoken like the keyboard warrior you are.
Yea let's hear how you're a Amerikan"
Well fuck face before you're mama took a shit and you were born they had this little thing call "The Draft" maybe you can get schooled by me at the VFW. bring your insurance card and list of next of kin.
Bring your wife too she gives good blow jobs I hear.....you can do clean up.
You had to be drafted pussy, I went on my own, fucking whiteowl smoker... Pieces of shit like you is why the draft is such a fucking BAD idea.
Oh Christ, another antiwar libertarian.
#sobrave ... lol
So why are you sitting on your ass in front of a computer, big guy? Pick up your rifle and head on over to the sandbox.
We have plenty of volunteers for that. They do great work.
#hypocrite lol
Are you kidding? We should be 10x MORE violent in our Imperial rule.
The Romans crucified people.
We do some fine work, yes, but we could do so much more. We started this as a reluctant empire, lacking the confidence to really kick ass the way we could and really should.
It is always extremely important to channel Hate and Fear against someone Else otherwise what fucking side are you on?
Why the West of course.
Our civilization must survive, endure, and dominate.
What about the North?
It must be a real thrill for you to equate yourself with civilization and then grant yourself the right to murder based on your civility.
Must he place a /sarc tag on all he writes?
"Oh Christ, another antiwar libertarian." --christiangustafson
...How come you're not bangin' the FoxNews opinion boards? You could meet lots of patriotic hero types over there.
OMG LOL non-aggression principle ... too funny
He probably makes a better rate for trolling this board. Higher difficulty level, you see.
ZH libertarians are so much fun to troll, such a garden of groupthink.
A storm is coming, gentlemen. A hard rain is gonna fall. You must accept it, embrace it, flourish in it.
But first of all get over libertarianism already, especially of the pacifist stripe.
Theres nothing pacifist about us, we just don't believe in killing strangers for no reason. (Well, not exactly no reason, but the profit of the MIC.) If you want to know just how pacifist we are, try breaking into the typical ZH'er house in middle of the night. LOL
Nonsense.
Read section #3 above in the article again. Typical internationalist libertarianism, relativism, ultimately nihilism.
The author should be ashamed of himself, the gelding.
Exactly. Hey Chrissie do and say what you will, it makes no matter to me, but come after me or my family and you'll discover just how pacifist us libertarians are.
No need for melodrama. You're a free man, of course you're armed.
