Protecting Perks, Power, & Profits Has Perverted The Entire System

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Bill Bonner via Bonner & Partners,

We’ve been trying to find something good to say about our generation – the baby boomers, who have dominated life back in the U.S. for at least the last 30 years.

But we keep running into the same problem: We have been so eager to protect our perks, power, and profits we have perverted the entire system.

Capitalism takes you into the future... with innovation, failure, and surprise. You invest, you lose your money, you try something different, and you stumble forward. Capitalism is constantly burying its mistakes and discovering tomorrow.

Cronyism, on the other hand, keeps you in the past. It is today and yesterday trying to stop tomorrow from happening.

...by bribing public officials (they are remarkably cheap; in terms of return on investment nothing else comes close)… restricting… regulating… controlling… central planning… bailing out well-established businesses… rewarding stockholders… paying off voters, lobbyists, and special interests… and distorting the political establishment, with its geriatric candidates and tired themes.

And guess what? Cronyism depends on the credit bubble. The future is where new wealth is created. When you try to stop or twist the future into the shape want, you prevent this wealth from ever happening.

So, you switch from creating wealth now to taking wealth from the future, so you can consume it now. That’s how the credit bubble got so big. And that’s why almost nobody wants to see it pop.

Cronies owe money. They borrow money. They depend on borrowed money for their budgets, their spending, their bonuses, their portfolios, their welfare checks, and their special privileges.

They all depend so heavily on borrowing that few of them – whether in academia, media, business, finance, or government – can see the truth… let alone speak it.

They are all paid not to see it. And if they do see it, they keep their mouths shut.

Who is left on the other side? Who is left to say something?

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”

Me and a lot of people who think and live like I do.  Unfortunately, nobody wants to hear jack shit from us right now.  The idea of government being the great salvation is far too entrenched (not to mention widespread across all geography and social strata) to turn around with logic and the clear lessons of history.  They can not be assailed from outside.  It's too late for that.  They're going to need to suffer complete failure at their own hands before the tide will again turn.

Im just shooting out a possible scenario here not stating that I am right , but from what I see this could be whats happening. . .

No one left producing anything in America, the reason the politicians can keep getting richer while the population gets poorer without an uproar is because the U.S. Govt is confiscating the labor of foreign nations like China.

Americans are on Welfare and are eating off Chinese labor and imports funded by counterfeit FIAT from the Fed.

The U.S. Corporations are protected by govt, govt gives them money + special favors and influence and even military support in some cases , the U.S. Corporations go abroad to exploit and enslave the poor labor classes in other nations.

U.S. Corporations then import goods and sell here for inflated prices (which welfare recipients then rush to Walmart with their welfare/govt assistance Checks and food stamps to buy).

Walmart wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for welfare$$$$ it completely just farms welfare checks and all its products are essentially made in China . . .

So how long is the Chinese worker + Chinese Govt going to play along to that tune? for as long as China needs the U.S. as a consumer to finance and operate its economy.

What % of the Chinese population ACTUALLY WORKS FOR A CHINESE OWNED AND OPERATED COMPANY not counting bought and paid for - sub contractors?

This is the question that needs answering.

If 60+% of the Chinese population works for American corporations . . .  China really doesn't even exist as a Nation State, its a U.S. Corporate Colony/Slave Farm.

So we have a Semi-Tyrannical Govt at home that pacifies the domestic population by exploiting foreign labor in order to provide the domestic population with goods "at little or no cost", this is how we have a society where people have no Jobs but somehow have 70" curved flat screens on every wall of their house.

We have become a Tyrannical Corporate Oligarchy Socialist State by FIAT that gains wealth by economically destroying and exploiting foreign nations.

Thats how we got on top -And it is a winning strategy atleast for the short - term until the idiots catch on and stop selling to us for pennies an hour.

If one nation no longer can ensalve its population by promissing goods they did not earn, the only viable option is to promise to the masses that they will exploit the labor of foreigners and get SOMEONE ELSE to be a slave for the population (Pormise another nations wealth to its citizens).

How much of that has been going on for the past 50 years ;)?

A war is coming between the U.S. and China, the war will happen when the demand from the U.S. economy out-strips Chinas ability to serve AND provide for its own citizens at the same time, that is the tipping point.

I like the theme, but think the idea of capitalism is not developed or defined well by the Author.

I recently read something else from Bill Bonner. He had likewise narrowed the topic down to a medium length article, but didn't really get deep into Banking Practices that had a big impact on his topic of US Debt and Future of our Kids.

Seldom do people actually discuss "Comparative Economic Systems". For instance while we all have mixed economies with socialism and populations that really want social security payments in old age & control over health care costs(Affordable)... well the Trade Policy, Rent Seeking, the Central bank System, Public & Private Banks, and Debt Money also have a huge impact.

looking at commonsense21c.com I'm not sure the author understands economic leakage(capital & Wealth Leaving the Country) and leakage from the household (wealth). But he does a pretty good job with some other issues just scanning his work.

SCIENCE and education has been totally captured by multinational corporate fascist (merger of monopoly corporations with government) with their criminal corruption. The same criminal corruption that has captured and overthrown our democracy and destroyed the American Main Street Free Enterprise System of capitalism that had laws against corporate monopoly and criminal corruption. “Crony capitalism” is not “capitalism” but “corporatism” by criminal fascist.

The USA is not a democracy or a capitalist society but a criminal corporate fascist society that is evil. What really stuns me is that brainwashed Americans are somehow hoping and expecting that GOOD will be coming from EVIL.

Capitalism benefits those with Capital (the clue is in the is in the name).

a) Those with excess capital invest it and collect interest, dividends and rent.

b) Those with insufficient capital borrow money and pay interest and rent.

It benefits the rich rather than the poor and the old rather than the young.

Capitalism works best with competition.

It used to have that from Communism and those at the top feared Communism and revolution and so had to show Capitalism worked for everyone.

Now the competition is gone and the 0.1% can funnel everything up to themselves.

The older generation grew up with a more benign form of Capitalism and everyone was allowed to acquire some Capital.

Capitalism, in its more benign form, works well for all, but this involves redistribution from the rich to the poor to combat its inherent trickle up effect.

The EU is falling apart due to this lack of redistribution.

Global trade is going down the pan due to the impoverishment of global consumers.

Globally the younger generation are being screwed due to their lack of Capital and they are being pushed onto the wrong side of the trickle up equation through every means possible, eg. student loans; expensive homes .....

In Europe we have plenty of old money, idle rich types who do not work.

They inherit Capital, invest it and collect, their fortunes grow with no work whatsoever.

They then pass a larger fortune to the next generation.

Capitalism is about Capital, not work of any form.

Absurd summary that there are "3 economic systems." & Similarly for the chart that Urban Redneck already linked:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0e/Aristotle-constituti...

There is only ONE economic system because there is only ONE Energy, which flows through different forms. Entropic pumps of those energy flows manifest through human beings and civilizations as the dynamic equilibria of different systems of organized lies operating robberies.

All economic systems only exist as subsets within the history of warfare. Warfare was organized crime on larger and larger scales. The best descriptions for how economic systems actually operate is through patterns of the principles and methods of organized crime, cascading fractally through different levels, where only those who ignore and/or take for granted the higher levels of organized crime are able to mistakenly presume that they are not acting as robbers too, who basically must live by taking energy from their environment.

Everything labeled as different forms of social and political systems are variations on the theme of organized crime, which is necessarily the basic system, because human beings and civilizations are entropic pumps of energy flows. However, the PARADOX developed that those who are the biggest and best organized gangs of criminals got to publicly promote their bullshit that they are not criminals, as the dominant public stories. That PARADOX was symbolically expressed by an arbitrary minus sign inserted into the entropy equations in thermodynamics and information theory, which inverted the meaning of entropy, so that inverted meaning would be consistent with the biggest bullies' bullshit, which had inverted the meaning of almost everything else, due to their history of becoming socially successful by being the best at backing up lies with violence, or enforcing frauds.

The various political systems are a range of different possible dynamic equilibria between the different possible systems of organized lies operating robberies. The article above was another typically superficial view bemoaning the degree to which the established systems have become more extremely unbalanced than ever before. While those are obviously correct social facts, everything else that follows in the article above continue its themes of superficial analysis leading to superficial "solutions."

I certainly agreed with the conclusion to the article above that:

They are all paid not to see it. And if they do see it, they keep their mouths shut.

Who is left on the other side? Who is left to say something?

The way that I express that is that people are socially successful to the degree that they are the best available professional liars and immaculate hypocrites. Of course, mainstream economics deliberately ignores that the foundation of the political economy is financial frauds enforced by governments. Indeed, "They are all paid not to see it!" ... "Who is left" to promote more radical truths are the fringe, of the fringe, of the fringe, or the Fringe Cubed position, which is a vanishingly small percentage of the overall population.

As Dekyus already commented above, and as most readers of Zero Hedge appear to already know: "Politicians are puppets, banksters are the real government." However, in my view, most of the content on Zero Hedge continues to promote the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies, and related impossible ideals, and therefore, continues to promote the same old backward "solutions" which are bogus, because they deliberately refuse to present realistic solutions which are consistent with more realistic analysis of the problems.

The typical content on Zero Hedge is relatively good analysis of the problems, which is far better than on the mass media, which then almost always collapses back to bogus "solutions" at the end, because the author does not want to propose genuine solutions which are consistent with the nature of the problems: governments are necessarily the biggest forms of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals. The only way to have better government is to have better organized crime, because money is necessarily measurement backed by murder.

All other notions regarding private property, as expressed through monetary and taxation systems, are too superficial to be able to be reconciled with the flows of energy through natural systems, as well as not rationally consistent with the flows of energy through industrial systems either, since the "money" that "pays" for everything is being made out of nothing as debts, and can disappear back to nothing, which flat out contradicts the most basic law of nature, the conservation of energy.

Of course, human systems do NOT actually violate natural laws, but rather, the monetary system is based upon ENFORCING FRAUDS. Most people are not aware, and do not want to become aware, of the ways that the entire political economy is based upon governments enforcing fundamentally fraudulent creation of the public "money" supply out of nothing by privately controlled banks. Rather, most people, on some sliding scales, "are all paid not to see it. And if they do see it, they keep their mouths shut."

Indeed, there is almost nobody left on the other side, because there is practically NO "actionable intelligence" which follows from understanding that the established systems operate through fundamentally fraudulent financial accounting systems, where "money" is created out of nothing, which is the same as "capital" being created out of nothing, which destroys "capitalism." On the contrary, practical "actionable intelligence" follows from getting closer to the sources of the "money" made out of nothing, and/or by manoeuvrings which ride the economic bubbles blown by the so-called 'business cycles' based on making the public "money" supply out of nothing, mostly to gamble with.

The problem with the various starry-eyed versions of what "free market capitalism" should be is that those tend to never address the deeper issues regarding fraud and murder, or the ways that the debt controls are backed by the death controls. The actually existing systems are what happens after fraud and murder are covertly added back into "free market capitalism." Meanwhile, most people who like to promote the impossible ideals regarding "free market capitalism" tend to have various ways to deliberate ignore and not discuss the basic problems of fraud and murder in forthright ways.

The title of the article above, "Protecting Perks, Power, & Profits Has Perverted The Entire System," is implicitly based upon presumptions regarding some sort of "golden age," which never actually existed. Rather, civilization has always been operating according to the principles and methods of organized crime, while real progress in physical science has enabled those systems of enforced frauds to get bigger at an exponential rate. Since the debt slavery systems have been growing at an exponential rate, especially in the last few decades, as well as the last few years, the ways that those debt slavery systems have generated numbers which have become debt insanities have become more blatantly obvious to more people. However, most of those people who have begun to notice that still understand that in somewhat superficial ways, and therefore, continue to propose bogus "solutions," which are similarly superficial.

The article above, and the series of similar articles before it that were republished on Zero Hedge have tended to be blaming the "baby boomer" generation, when the only thing that that generation did was happen to be born and live during the times when the debt slavery's systems were going through some of their more recent, and therefore, most spectacular doublings. However, nothing has changed, other than systems based on backing up lies with violence, and enforcing frauds, which existed for thousands of years, have been getting worse, faster, automatically demonstrating their inherent paradoxes, that being able to back up legalized lies with legalized violence never stops those lies from being false, and therefore, civilization as a whole becomes more and more psychotic, the more that it is dominated by systems of enforced frauds, which manifest that inherent contradiction, that being able to enforce frauds still never stops those frauds from being false.

Despite that the established political economy is based on fundamentally fraudulent financial accounting systems, that only work because those frauds are enforced, and only work to the degree that those frauds could continue being enforced, the vast majority of people are adapted to live inside of those systems, and have done so for generation after generation ... with the baby boomers merely riding through on the rising tidal waves, or tsunamis, of debt slavery becoming debt insanities.

ROUGHLY ABOUT 99% OF THE PUBLIC "MONEY" WAS CREATED OUT OF NOTHING AS DEBTS. THAT "MONEY" WAS CREATED OUT OF NOTHING BY SOMEBODY AGREEING TO "BORROW" IT.

THAT IS THE MAD SYSTEM OF MONEY AS DEBT, WHICH DOES NOT EXIST UNTIL "BORROWED."

Inside of that MAD system, if there was no more debt, then there would be no more "money." Moreover, inside of that MAD system, the only way to pay the interest on the debts that follow from "borrowing" is to "borrow" more! The existing MAD system is inherently structured to be a debt slavery treadmill, or a debt engine, that always has to keep on creating more debts ... or else it would collapse into crazy chaos, since it is a huge pyramid scheme.

That is the context in which to regard the statement made in the article above that:

They borrow money. They depend on borrowed money for their budgets, their spending, their bonuses, their portfolios, their welfare checks, and their special privileges. They all depend so heavily on borrowing that few of them – whether in academia, media, business, finance, or government – can see the truth… let alone speak it.

To speak intelligibly about that MAD system, one has to face the facts that the international bankers were the biggest gangsters, the banksters, that were able to apply the methods of organized crime through the political processes, in order to capture control over the powers of governments, and thus, to effectively PRIVATIZE the governments' powers to rob (taxation) and to kill to back up that robbery (law enforcement.) The existing systems are basically the legalized counterfeiting of the public "money" supply by privately controlled banks, which have that unique privilege, while that remains a crime for everyone else.

The only way to understand that is to recognize that the biggest gangsters are indeed the banksters, which are the best organized gangs of criminals, which have been able to almost totally dominate the political economy through the ways that they can control issuing the public "money" supply. However, that in turn requires one to appreciate the ways in which the history of warfare created the War Kings, that made the sovereign states, which could enforce taxation, which is what was behind enabling the Fraud Kings, the privately controlled banking systems, to back up their ability to make the public "money" supply out of nothing as debts, by having almost all of that money be created out of nothing, when people "borrowed" that money from the banking institutions, which could legally create that money out of nothing.

Moreover, if one thinks harder about the history of the ways that lies were backed by violence, there was no beginning to that. There was never any golden age when the world was not being controlled by the biggest bullies backing up their bullshit. The only things that have happened were that real progress in physical science enabled Neolithic Civilizations to develop at an exponential rate, and for that exponential growth of systems of legalized lies backed by legalized violence, whereby the political economy was based upon enforcing frauds, to be reaching some sort of turning or tipping points, where the necessary doubling to keep those MAD systems going are becoming more prodigiously impossible with each successive doubling.

The baby boomer generation merely happen to have been born after WW II, and so, have ridden upon the greatest doublings of debts ever yet achieved, and to have perhaps lived long enough to begin to observe the blatant impossibilities of that runaway debt slavery driving debt insanities being able to keep on doubling down many more times ... That is especially the case because that "money" made out of nothing as debts was "paying" for strip-mining the natural resources of a finite planet, in ways which the debt slavery systems never acknowledged. The baby boomers just happen to have been born during the times of the most fantastic ride UP there has ever been, when the most "money" made out of nothing, in order to "pay" for strip-mining the planet, was occurring.

The problem with the article above is that it does not address the deeper issues, which would require one to face the facts that the production of destruction controls production, and that money must necessarily be measurement backed by murder. The currently existing MAD systems are doing that, through enforcing frauds, while those systems' inherent contradictions are being magnified many orders of magnitude, to astronomically amplified sizes, where the "money" made out of nothing to gamble with now makes all of the other "money" used by flesh and blood people to buy and sell physically existing things relatively trivial inside the context of that virtual reality of MAD Money As Debt.

"Free market capitalism" only makes sufficient sense when that is reconciled with human beings operating as entropic pumps of energy flows. BUT, when one does that, one recognizes that any form of so-called "free market capitalism" still must necessarily be the expression of the dynamic equilibria of systems of organized lies operating robberies. It is NOT possible to stop capitalism from including fraud and murder. It is only possible to change the dynamic equilibria regarding how that fraud and murder manifests.

Overall, since we actually are living inside of INTENSE PARADOXES THAT ARE BECOMING MORE INTENSE, not only are governments the biggest forms of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals, but also, they must necessarily be. It is not possible to stop governments from existing, because it is not possible to stop organized crime from existing. The only things which are possible are to change the dynamic equilibria with respect to how that organized crime operates.

By and large, those who promote the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies and related impossible ideals, as the basis of their analysis of the problems, as well as then the basis of their "solutions" to those problems, continue to get everything backwards, and therefore, also promote bogus "solutions" which are backwards. THAT IS WHAT THE ARTICLE ABOVE IS IMPLICITLY DOING, as well as that is what almost all the rest of the content published on Zero Hedge is most often doing.

Anyone who continues to rely upon old-fashioned religions and ideologies, that are based on presuming upon the validity of the DUALITIES of false fundamental dichotomies and impossible ideals, tends to be promoting bogus "solutions" which are still based on believing in the biggest bullies' bullshit world views. Therefore, the irony implicit in most of the content on Zero Hedge, like the article above, is that presents superficially correct analysis, which tends to reveal the ways that the banksters are the biggest gangsters, that have captured control over the powers of governments, HOWEVER, then they tend to change gears to promote impossible "solutions" based upon using magic words, like "free market capitalism" in ways which have no operation definitions, that can not be reconciled with natural laws.

The ONLY connection between human laws and natural laws is the ability to back up lies with violence. The principle of the conservation of energy is the source of all of our abstract notions of truth, beauty, and justice, etc., because Energy IS Spirit. However, the ways that we understand entropy was deliberately inverted, so that would be consistent with the biggest bullies' bullshit world view, so that their ability to operate systems of organized lies and robberies could be presented as relatively positive things, rather than actually being relatively negative things. Metaphorically speaking, because we understand entropy backwards, we understand evil backwards.

To try to develop a political science that is more consistent with physical science requires series of intellectual scientific revolutions, and profound paradigm shifts in the ways that we perceive politics, which then are related to the ways that we could more realistically resolve political problems. I REPEAT, the basic sociopolitical facts are that governments are the biggest forms of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals, and that they must necessarily be. Therefore, the only realistic resolutions to political problems require developing better organized crime, which means better death controls to back up better debt controls, where better means greater use of information enabling higher consciousness, so that human systems of artificial selection can be better reconciled with natural selection.

Of course, that is somewhat already the case, since enforcing frauds does NOT violate any laws of nature. It is possible within society to back up lies with violence. Indeed, since human beings necessarily live as entropic pumps of energy flows, civilization must necessarily be systems of organized lies operating robberies, which currently are manifested in the form of enforced frauds. Any bogus "solutions" which depend upon realizing impossible ideals are backwards, and will continue to backfire badly. Such bogus "solutions" continue to presume that their false fundamental dichotomies are correct, but tend to go to the wrong pole to establish spurious unity.

The genuine unity of UNITARY MECHANISMS are that everyone has some power to rob, and power to kill to back up that power to rob. Governments assembled and channeled those powers, while those who were the best at being deceitful and backing that up with destruction became the banksters, that were able to apply the methods of organized crime to the political processes, in order to effectively capture control over the powers of government, so that those governments would enforce the banksters' frauds.

HOWEVER, all of that took place within the overall context of all living things operating as entropic pumps of energy flows, which included human beings, and civilizations, which have developed INTENSE PARADOXES based upon the social successfulness of systems of legalized lies, backed by legalized violence. People must necessarily live as some systems of organized lies operating robberies. The banksters' enforced frauds developed within that context. There are no genuine solutions to those problems which can stop human beings from living as entropic pumps of energy flows. However, there are genuine solutions to those problems which could be based upon perceiving entropy differently, by correcting the enormous error that was expressed by inverting the meaning of the concept of entropy, which happened so that progress in physical science could continue to be presented as consistent with the biggest bullies' bullshit world view.

Articles like the one above, which are typical of lots of other content on Zero Hedge, love to indulge in false fundamental dichotomies, and promote bogus "solutions" based upon realizing impossible ideals, despite that the only thing that actually happens from attempting to do that is to cause the opposite to happen in the real world. Rather, the way forward is to better understand how and why the international bankers are the biggest gangsters, that are dominating the world's political economy through having applied the principles of organized crime through the political processes. The article above gets that right when it quotes:

...by bribing public officials (they are remarkably cheap; in terms of return on investment nothing else comes close)… restricting… regulating… controlling… central planning… bailing out well-established businesses… rewarding stockholders… paying off voters, lobbyists, and special interests… and distorting the political establishment, with its geriatric candidates and tired themes.

That article is also correct when it remarks how almost everyone who is socially successful within the established systems are "all paid not to see it." ... HOWEVER, there is nothing that follows regarding superior solutions to those problems which is consistent with that correct analysis of what the problems are ... Instead, we are presented with a trichotomy, which is complicates the false fundamental dichotomy between Tyranny versus Freedom, which is another one of the favourite statements repeated by many on Zero Hedge.

At the present time, politics continues to be almost totally dominated by various old-fashioned religions and ideologies, which deliberately make no efforts to change their metaphysics to become more consistent with the real progress made in physics. Similarly, those ways that the philosophy of science was historically perverted by its compromises with the biggest bullies' bullshit world view is also generally not perceived. Overall, we continue to have INTENSE PARADOXES BECOMING MORE INTENSE, due to real progress in physical science, without matching progress in political science.

One of the main reasons why political science has not progressed is that would require starting to use more UNITARY MECHANISMS, like that there are nothing but the dynamic equilibria of different systems of organized lies operating robberies. Progress in political science, in order to reconcile that with progress in physical science, has to understand the social facts regarding the banksters being the biggest gangsters in more profound ways, and so, then result in NOT promoting bullshit "solutions" that will backfire badly, based upon somehow realizing impossible ideals.

We are ACTUALLY headed towards the runaway debt insanities provoking death insanities. The only genuine solutions to those problems would be to develop better death control systems. There are no other ways to actually back up better debt control systems. Therefore, the only genuine solutions to the real problems are to develop better organized crime, in order to develop better government. Hence, we should stop relying upon the DUALITIES that there is any basic difference between organized crime versus government. Instead, we should start using more UNITARY MECHANISMS based upon understanding how and why the currently existing systems developed, with the banksters being the biggest gangsters, controlling the biggest form of organized crime, which is government.

Any "solutions" based on stopping that from happening are merely more bullshit, that will surely continue to backfire badly. The only theoretically valid ways forward are to transform political science to make that become more consistent with physical science, in ways which simultaneously also changes the philosophy of science, in order to correct the historical errors made when the social enterprise of science was forced to compromise with the biggest bullies' bullshit world view, since science as a social enterprise was just as much subjected to being controlled by its funding, inside of the overall context of enforcing frauds, as was every other kind of social enterprise.

The results of doing that, I REPEAT, are that there are NOT any fundamentally real variety of different economic systems, but rather, only one underlying system, based on entropic pumping of energy flow, which matches the principles and methods of organized crime. In order to comprehend that more fully, one must grapple with the INTENSE PARADOXES that those who were the best at being dishonest, and backing that up with violence, have controlled civilization, in ways which have depended upon their bullshit being backed up, so that the currently existing political economy is based on ENFORCING FRAUDS, GENERATING CONTRADICTIONS.

All of the bullshit about the situation being Government versus Organized Crime, can only be resolved by perceiving that government IS organized crime. Furthermore, that is then consistent with perceiving that the currently biggest gangsters are the banksters, upon whose enforced frauds all the rest of the corporations, and other legalized lies, now depend, and which continue to be enforced by legalized violence.

The baby boomers are the first generation to grow up with weapons of mass destruction, and to watch as the world became interconnected with electronic communications. Those achievements were due to a series of profound paradigm shifts, or intellectual scientific revolutions in the physical sciences. The ONLY way that the human species MIGHT survive is if it can go through even greater intellectual scientific revolutions and profound paradigm shifts in the ways that political science is done, which then would apply to the combined money/murder systems, through both human ecology and political economy.

Of course, at the present time, almost nobody is interested in doing that. Rather, it is appropriate to REPEAT what the article above correctly stated about practically everybody continues to be INSIDE THE ESTABLISHED SYSTEMS, MOSTLY STILL TAKING THEM FOR GRANTED:

They all depend so heavily on borrowing that few of them – whether in academia, media, business, finance, or government – can see the truth… let alone speak it. They are all paid not to see it. And if they do see it, they keep their mouths shut. Who is left on the other side? Who is left to say something?

The answer to that question that the article above concluded by asking is PRACTICALLY NOBODY. Meanwhile, we are running out of time to go through sufficient paradigm shifts, which usually took generations to be completed in the past. The baby boomer generation is the FIRST one to grow up observing the established financial systems based upon enforced frauds become globalized electronic money, backed by the threat of force from atomic bombs ... So far, they have mostly done nothing to change that, while the established systems based on legalized lies, backed by legalized violence, have been constantly doubling down, in order to keep themselves going!

Of course, I WISH that more of the members of that generation had not ended up being either assimilated or crushed by the established systems based upon enforcing financial frauds. However, obviously, that did not happen, and it his hard to imagine how it could possibly have happened, except in some isolated ways, for some individuals, in some circumstances, attempting some personal ways to resist being assimilated or crushed by the established systems.

However, the baby boomers were NOT responsible for "perverting the system" which was already almost totally corrupted long before they were born. The baby boomers have merely been riding along the waves that were always there before, driven by social storms that were always having more energy pumped into them. At the present time, it is becoming clearer that the younger you are, the more you are being lied to, cheated and robbed by the political system you were born into. While that was also somewhat the case for the baby boomers, it is much more the case for younger generations now, and will continue to become even more so for those who are not yet born. Hence, as the real problems automatically get worse, faster, as they are, and must necessarily continue to do, there is more pressure driving possible paradigm shifts with respect to how younger generations perceive political issues.

In that context, I like to day dream that I am may be speaking to them ... However, I am more concerned that we have already run out of time to prevent the exponentially growing debt insanities from provoking death insanities, on a scale which could not be effectively prepared for ???

Capitalism is Marx's term.  I view it as too "broad brush".

Economics is historically referred to as "political economy", the way resource allocation is conducted internally and externally within a nation state or empire.  The term has also been applied to the academic (scientific?) discipline that has become more rigorous and codified.  This is a boon to comparative analysis, as well as to the finance and resource conservation and allocation practice of industrys, businesses, associations, individual families (including individuals, themselves) and also to governments on several levels, ideally, to settle on a system(s-?) that best describes or works for attaining the objectives of the entities involved.

Practically, it is variously imposed by force and the consequential need of sub-entities to accommodate or circumvent tyrannical PTB.  Alternatively, it is a pseudoscientific fraud imposed in a variously socialist democracy or republic by a governing establishment (MIC?) to justify an economy that more or less favors the enrichment of an elite.

The USA was not established after Marx coughed up his furball term.  It was established earlier, during the Enlightenment, as mercantilism was being disfavored and abandoned as an inefficient system of economics in favor of laissez faire free enterprise, a system that proved more inclusive of a middle class as recipients of the fruits of prosperity.  That economic system was natantly in place for over 70 years before 1860 and preceded Marx probably by about 60 years.  I say natantly because it was being increasingly implemented during that time and was largely responsible for bringing the New American republic through its growing pains into becoming a glowing beacon of prosperity and opportunity to the rest of the world.  It oversaw our rapid development, earliest industrial advances and the merit and productivity of the common citizen.  The prosperity was hardly perfect but neither is mankind, and it was simply working!  It also wasn't without opposition, even from our nation's beginnings. There were people in positions of power who favored an American monarchy, or, failing that, an American aristocracy or elite.  They favored economics that enabled those in power to tax for making "internal improvements", a scheme that enabled the government to determine who should receive those contracts, orders and work, and what projects should be pursued and to benefit certain segments or sections of the nation, rather than permit individuals and free markets to determine their priorities.  They were initially in control but became increasingly unpopular with the voters and were soon turned out and replaced by leaders favoring freer, less abusive economics and markets.  There were other attempts to make government projects but they were non-competitive, generally failed and were superseded by market driven commerce.

What destroyed this economic system and imposed increasingly socialistic economics was the Republican Party sectional political movement that manipulated territotial terrorism, racial issues and human bondage to camouflage an economic agenda predicated on codifying "internal improvements" into the Constitutional and judicial basis of the nation by force of arms.  War left that faction in victorious control and that enabled them to change the rules of the game.  The playing field was no longer level and the nation has subsequently drifted further into socialism if not fascist socialism.  This must be reversed, government collared and laissez faire free markets restored.   Only the citizenry can do this and hopefully without bloodshed.  Godspeed.
