So, remember when there was a raging debate about whether or not airport screeners should be federal employees at all, let alone unionized?
Well, the judge called Time has issued his verdict...lol.
"Department of Homeland Security said Monday that the acting administrator for the Transportation Security Administration would be reassigned, following a report that airport screeners failed to detect explosives and weapons in nearly every test that an undercover team conducted at dozens of airports.
According to a report based on an internal investigation, "red teams" with the Department of Homeland Security's Office of the Inspector General were able to get banned items through the screening process in 67 out of 70 tests it conducted across the nation.
The test results were first reported by ABC News, and government officials confirmed them to CNN. Mark Hatfield, acting deputy director, will take over for Melvin Carraway until a new acting administrator is appointed. It was not immediately clear Tuesday where Carraway would be reassigned.
Late Monday, Johnson issued a statement announcing Carraway's reassignment."

Because nothing says "Thanks for overseeing glaring incompetence at your agency while wasting billions of dollars and giving us the excuse we need to now request billions of taxpayer dollars more in "training" to fix it." like having the opportunity to be "reassigned" to yet still another government bureaucracy to fuck it up further.
It still remains true, if you can't make it in the private sector you go into the government sector. When you screw up enough in the "public sector" a tenured position is created for you in academia.

My ten year old daughter was standing right there inside the garage door getting her bicycle. It would have killed her if she had walked or back her bike out and for my four year old son. Someone else witnessed the whole thing and they said that it was bullshit.
