Ron Paul Fears The CIA Is The Biggest Threat To Americans' Liberty
As the Senate scrambled to pass the USA Freedom Act this evening, reinstating the agency’s ability to spy on Americans, Ron Paul points out that US intelligence organizations have always – and will continue – to operate outside the law; with Daniel McAdams noting the CIA "is sort of the President’s own Praetorian Guard." As Sputnik News reports, before Americans applaud a minor step toward transparency, Paul warns that they should recognize the corrosive nature of the CIA, "They are a secret government," operating way above the law, and are "way out of control."
"[The CIA] is sort of the President’s own Praetorian Guard," Daniel McAdams, from the Institute of Peace and Prosperity, said on the Ron Paul Liberty Report. "We know…that he sent assassination squads, he sent people to monitor Martin Luther King, and all sorts of things like this."
"This is like his own personal army which is accountable to no one," McAdams adds.
As Sputnik News reports, according to Paul, the CIA could be an even bigger threat to liberty than McAdams suggests. A covert army that doesn’t answer to Congress, the Supreme Court, or even the president.
"That, to me, was the most frightening experience in Washington, is there were black budgets. We never knew exactly how much money was spent," Paul says.
Those secret budgets have allowed the CIA to carry out some pretty shady practices over the years. Chiefly, assassinations.

"There are certainly a lot of theories about the CIA being involved in even domestic assassinations, and they certainly are now involved in presidential directed assassinations," Paul says.
"The US has covertly and overtly influenced elections overseas a number of times," McAdams says. "It’s a very open secret that the CIA infiltrates monitoring organizations like the OSCE with their personnel."
For some, the USA Freedom Act and similar legislation may be the best way to rein in renegade intelligence agencies. But as Paul notes, many laws already exist to implement limitations. These laws are routinely ignored.
"They are a secret government," Paul says of the CIA. "Way out of control."
Nevertheless, Paul ends on an optimistic note, pointing out that young Americans are tired of the status quo and fed up with broad government overreach.
"In a true republic, there is no place for an organization like the CIA," Dr. Paul says, quoting former FBI agent Dan Smoot. "I think he’s closer to the truth than a lot of what’s going on today."

I have friends who have in the past year "rejoined the church."
I have slowly watched them tuck their brains up into their asses. Literally a transformation from reasonable thinking people, to people quite comfortable with others doing the thinking for them.
Now they pepper their speech with "they should," "we can," "they are." Meaning they the pols and crats should force people to do or not do this, and we can make people do or not do this if we all band together as a clique and apply a little force--bully. And "they are" the reason for this problem or that.

My view of the history of the CIA is that it was originally created by Wall Street lawyers and bankers. It was intended to be a secret police force that works for the banksters. It must be nice to still somehow be able to believe in impossible ideals, and therefore, somehow be optimistic. In that sense, I attempt to be more radical, while people like Ron Paul are classic examples of controlled opposition, promoting impossible ideals, which can never actually exist in the real world, but rather, always backfire badly and make the opposite happen.
Meanwhile, the actually implemented radical transformations of society are carried through by those who do things like start the War on Drugs, or the War on Terror, on the basis of Huge Lies, backed by Lots of Violence, in ways which enable them to make more money, and become more politically powerful, and therefore, even more able to continue to carry through their agenda of controlling civilization with even Bigger Lies.
For example:
Hemp is the single best plant on the planet for people, for food, fiber, fun and medicine. However, it was possible to re-brand that as "marijuana which is almost as bad as murder," and for that then to become the backbone of organized crime for decade after decade, as enforcing marijuana laws was about 75% of the "War on Drugs." Meanwhile that War on Drugs subsidized in every way the massive development of police state powers, while the profits from that illegal black market ended up being laundered the most by some of the biggest banks, while the CIA simultaneously became one of the biggest drug smuggling cartels.
Thus, the War on Drugs was a huge fraud, deliberately designed to become a vicious self-fulfilling prophesy, which enabled the overall systems of debt slavery, backed by wars based on deceits, to get worse, faster, all over the world. Meanwhile those actually doing that, on every level, made more money, and became more politically powerful. Hence, it is bullshit to say that the War on Drugs was any kind of failure. It accomplished what it was really designed to accomplish very well, by feeding every level of organized crime, so that could flourish, and become more wealthy and more powerful, throughout from the highest levels of the banksters, and their CIA, on down throughout lower levels of organized crime, repeating fractally the same patterns of profits made from backing up lies with violence, and taking personal advantage of opportunities created by the general social situation being based upon lies back by violence.

That is what it means to correctly state that the CIA are an important component of "a secret government," that IS "way out of control." However, guys like Ron Paul are then still able to collapse back to being optimistic while promoting impossible ideals as the basis of bogus "solutions." While I sympathize with that, and I wish that I could time warp back to when I could still think like that too, I no longer am able to do so! Rather, I have thought longer and harder about the ways that the best organized gangs of criminals, like the CIA, are controlling the government. Metaphorically speaking, I have gone THROUGH the looking glass of our Bizarro Mirror World. The only ways to actually change things would be to develop better organized crime, because those are the only realistic ways to have better government. That is what I mean by "radical truths," which should be understood and agreed to by enough people, in order to more effectively change things in even more radical ways.

I don't have much experience with the CIA. I would reiterate that the FBI & Spying and all the black agencies... are making careers (which is powerful) out of destruction of the US Constitution.
That is not to say they are not patriots. I would do "reorganizations" to move employees from Spy Agencies to other government offices... at current grade... with no chance of promotion or grade increase... this would no stop them from creating contractor jobs and executive positions in military contractor companies. The Trick is to decrease military contracts. AT&T is one.
