The CNN/ORC poll reveals that 52 percent of Americans see Bush positively, while 43 percent do not.
In contrast, U.S. voters are split on their views of Obama.
The new poll finds that 49 percent view Obama favorably, while 49 percent do not.
Those ratings for Obama are down from a similar poll in March. During that sampling, 52 percent of Americans viewed him positively, while another 46 percent did not.
Bush’s numbers, meanwhile, mark a major shift for the former president since he departed office in early 2009, CNN said, when Bush received a favorability rating from roughly one third of those surveyed.

pps. I have Jewish friends (former colleagues) who are Jewish, but are anti-Zionists or merely atheists who are Jews by heritage. A few times I've been invited over to some of them on Sabbath (Fri. night dinner) in Westchester County, as a sign of their acceptance of me, and have worn the Yarmulke they provided. To me it was in part a Cultural Ritual -- like saying Grace before dinner when I was a kid -- but otherwise a pleasant family dinner, with fine food, drink, wit & repartee.
Since I'm comfortable in my own skin and secure about my Worldviews, I do not feel threatened by the cultural or religious practices of a People. In fact, they are somewhat interesting to me, in an Anthropological sense.
