"Greek Deal Imminent", Any Second Now
For everyone disgusted with the endless Greek drama, where the economy gets worse by the hour and yet it seems that not a day passes without another, and another, and another "Greek deal imminent" rumor, don't worry: it's not just you.
But then again...
And in other news according to Sky News economics editor Ed Conway, this was just "spotted in the Greek Economy Ministry (I kid you not)."

All these are related.

They're saved!
Now if they can just continue to give the IMF $10 billion a year until 2057.
Yup! Time for a rumour!

No FBD.
Even if the Greeks never paid another single Euro back, they would not be allowed to swing to the Rooskies and the ISDA (International Skata and Deception Association). would never declare a default.
stock market is down so another Greek rumor is needed to bring it back up again.

Marx was wrong!
Groucho Marx?

Dig trenches, with our men being killed off like flies? There isn't time to dig trenches. We'll have to buy them ready made. Here, run out and get some trenches. Wait a minute, get 'em this high and our soldiers won't need any pants. Wait a minute, get 'em this high and we won't need any soldiers!

I would say some turn of the century banker cartoon caricatures would be more suitable, but what do I know?

What does kondratiev have to say about this?
I guess it's appropriate to display a head without a body to banksters?
you - ahem - "nailed" it
The recovery is just around the corner.... corner..... corner........
Six years of green shoots, zero interest and people can't figure it out.
What's there to figure? All of that free money at the top being passed around like Hookers & Blow...
(E.g., it's a giant club, and you ain't in it!)
I think I'll go watch another Lady Gaga video.... /s
So - I really can hold my breath then?!?
The "New Greek Deal" .... we have nothing to fear .... except austerity !
If Syriza was really Marxist, they would leave the EZ.
Who knows, maybe in 100 years there will be busts of Jamie Dimon on the desks of pricks worldwide.
In 100 years, Jamie Dimon will probably be on Mt. Rushmore.
And it'll be the United States of China.
Plenty of Karl Marx fans running around these days and not just in Greece. I guess people have gotten desperate enough to believe somebody actually will take responsibility for their care and feeding forever. Doesn't matter if they actually will, what's important is that they SAY they will.
"Desperation" is the key word here. It will drive everything here on out. This is why we see "divergences"....the gap between reality and fear/greed emotions.
All time high??

Hunh. Try though I might I couldn't find that 'belief' extolled anywhere in Das Kapital, or anywhere else (except from Ms. Informations).
However, I did find something like this:
MalWartism
Pretty prescient, actually. Does that make me a 'fan'?
"la,la,la, la, la, la, la....."
i cant hear u....
Next to it this bust needs a shiny yet dented empty tin can with the sharp lid sticking out.
Just waiting for those billions to go thru the wires to keep the game going....billions of Euros thru the electrons...its just one little push of a key on a keyboard in some office in Brussels...just waiting ...and waiting...
I prefer marx to keynes

The Marxist con man in the whiter house gets a pass on this over and over. This is his Fed / Imf, his Fed chair Yellen, his additional debt burden, and if he wanted to put and end to all this monetary madness he could. But he simply chooses not to because this obviously ushers in more and more socialism and a global takeover of the US. Welcome tyranny as serfdom is the outcome for all of us.

LOL
Print fix it. What's the problem?
Yeah, just keep searching the internet long enough and you may find it. If I were a citizen of Greece, I'd be searching "Rumplestiltskin", "Albanian Citizenship", and "Home address of Christine LaGarde"
"...in other news according to Sky News"
I don't recall Sky News ever exposing "Gordoom 'I saved the world' Brown" as a Marxist.
It's possible that a statue of Karl Marx was spotted in the Greek finance ministry but it's just as likely that it wasn't. May have been planted. We are in the game of MSM joining forces with the political elites to play hard ball to force Greece into submission.
We are in the game of MSM joining forces with political elites to play hard ball to force EVERYONE into submission.
They will do it through indoctrination and manipulation, reserving force as a last resort...but we will submit. Freedom is a perception and it is their goal to induce us to "believe" that what they are doing and telling us is the ultimate expression of "freedom", even if it must be forced down our throat in room 101. The quickest most assured path to our submission is through our emotions, and will do all in their power to ensure that only our emotions rule...the herding of cattle through stampede. Crisis is an excellent "emotion" generator and will be put to work.
They mean, it is enmiahnt.
Off topic a bit but I always liked the way the Germans facilitated the sealed train carrying Lenin from Switzerland to Russia.
A bit like rolling a smoking hand grenade,or dropping a big, stinking clinker in the Romanov's In Tray.
Not that anyone reads history nowadays but there was one journalist in Moscow who asked to see all the secret treaties between the Russians and the Allies which the bolshies were harping about. So a fellow comes in to his office and dumps a box of treaties on his desk."Here, have a look!".A big popular issue in that era was open treaties, openly arrived at.A bit topical with all the secret legislation being passed these days.
