Cheap debt is sloshing through the system......that right there is IT! If you know what IT IS!

When the rates are raised, the dollar will go into it's death climb because everything underlying in the US will crumble. Strong dollar will only buy more cheap shit from China. And cheaper, better drugs.

And then, will Japan HAVE to raise? And if they do (and they will have to), the Great yen carry unwind will begin in earnest.

And this spiral only goes down....

Logarithmic spirals are no fun in their compression stage.

Rhythmic logiclessness...

I hate to flog a dead horse, but how do you pull a horse up out of the mud?

The markets have not only been dead, any monetary injections into it will only lead to a frantic market...

It's indicative to someone trying to save a person drowning, they can literally take you down with them...

(I know some smart ass is going to say "With a crane?", but unless you got one in your back pocket, your horse is as good as gone!)

the dichotomy of the disconnect; FIRE economy spikes and real economy hits the skids.

that's funny.  I see it as a bullish bear market, not a bearish bull market.

Like I say, it's a casino where people rely on the turn of a card or the roll of the dice. A lot of companies are circling the toilet, but you'd never know from the action's of their stocks. It'll all be a great surprise to the sheep when it all falls apart.....

Unforunately, Jeff Saut is confusing this CYCLICAL Bull within a SECULAR Bear. The Secular Bear market that started in 2000 has yet to gain traction due to the interventions by the Fed. When the rubber hits the road Mr. Saut will have to re-think his notion of what 'Secular' and 'Cyclical' mean. If the Secular Bear that began in 2000 was allowed to naturally run its course we now would, likely, be at the beginning stages of a Secular Bull, Sadly, bankers and politicians think they can defy the laws of nature. Something wicked this way comes---aided and abetted by the clows in Washington and on Wall St.

I'm not a fan of the Wolfsteet bar chart presented, since its clearly not to scale. A 14% increase from $213B to $243B appears to be a 130% increase by looking at the bar sizes.
