Table 9

Table 9

It seems the mainstream media is giddy with excitement over the 280,000 jobs supposedly created in May. The markets aren’t so happy, as good news is actually bad news. What excuse will Yellen and her fellow Wall Street puppets at the Federal Reserve use to not increase interest rates from emergency levels of 0.25%? The ten year Treasury rate immediately skyrocketed to 2.43% in seconds. It was at 1.64% in February. That’s a 46% decline in price in four months. Do you still think bonds are a safe investment? Guess what is tied to the 10 Year Treasury rate? Mortgage rates. There goes the fake housing recovery. Artificially high prices, higher mortgage rates, and young people unable to buy sounds like a perfect recipe for collapse.

The MSM is cackling about the 280,000 new jobs, but you won’t hear them mentioning that the number of unemployed people went up by 125,000 as 208,000 people the BLS classified as not in the labor force last month decided they were in the labor force this month. What a crock. At least 20 million of the 93 million classified as not in the labor force can or will work, therefore they are unemployed.

One month does not make a recovery. Let’s see what the YTD numbers show:

  • Since January, 594,000 more Americans are employed, an average of 149k per month. Considering the working age population has gone up by 732,000 since January, why is anyone crowing?
  • The BLS drones actually expect you to believe the unemployment rate has fallen from 5.7% in January to 5.5% today, because 442,000 Americans decided to voluntarily exit the labor force. That’s a hoot.

The really good stuff is buried in Table A-9 of the BLS data dump. See for yourself:

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t09.htm

As the MSM hacks and government apparatchiks try to convince you the jobs market is booming, Table A-9 tells a different story. Here is what is revealed:

  • The number of working age Americans went up by 2.8 million in the last year, or 236k per month. The number of new jobs must average 236k per month just to stay even. In the last year the economy added 2.9 million jobs, slightly above the workforce growth, but the BLS expects you to believe the unemployment rate plunged from 6.3% to 5.5%. Hilarious!!!
  • It’s the breakdown of jobs by age that really screams out. It is a known fact that people in the 45 to 54 age bracket are in their prime earning and spending years. In the last year the number of employed 45 to 54 year olds has DECLINED by 67,000. It DECLINED in May by 51,000. It has DECLINED by 187,000 since February.
  • It is a known fact that people over 55 dramatically reduce their spending as they approach and enter their retirement years. The Boomers have added 824,000 jobs in the last year, or 28% of all the new jobs added.
  • Only 117,000 jobs were added in the 35 to 44 year old bracket in the last year. So the age brackets that do the most spending in the country (35 to 54) have a net increase of 50k jobs in the last year. That is 1.7% of the total jobs added.
  • The remainder of the new low paying jobs are going to young people who are in debt up to their eyeballs. Now you should understand why there is no real recovery. The people who normally spend the most aren’t getting jobs. The people who don’t spend or can’t spend are getting the bulk of the low paying service jobs.

  • Of the 2.9 new jobs created in the last year, guess how many are classified as self-employment jobs? How about 935,000. That’s right. Your new job selling shit on Ebay or cutting three lawns per week is counted as a new job by the BLS drones. What a load of bull.
  • There are also 7 million people who hold multiple jobs. That is a sure sign of economic progress.
  • Almost 300k of the new jobs added in the last year were part-time shit jobs. 205k of the 464k jobs added since March are part-time jobs.

Sorry to be a buzzkill, but today’s jobs numbers are not great. The job market sucks. Wages suck. The BLS will lie and obfuscate until morale improves. The MSM will regurgitate the lies. So it goes.

102 Disinfo Agents and Dupes Exposed in One Sweeping Move May 14, 2015

Here’s an easy but trusted way to make sure you know at least a part of the active disinfo agents and deceiving “alternative” news outlets.

In this update it is about Seymour Hersh’s latest article, Killing of bin Laden. While there are many things one can argue about regarding the content, what it boils down to is that Hersh conveniently forgot to tell his readers that bin Laden has been dead for almost 14 years.

Which is why the following venues are, in my opinion, disinfo agents. They either promote or discuss Hersh’s article while not informing their readers about the impossible 2011 death of bin Laden.

The awardees, although not in ranking, were determined based on Google searches and popularity.

Agreed.

I was just putting out a little something about so-called 'alternative/truth' proclaimers to think about - not ZH in particular. There is deceit all around and one must be very watchful.

Now that I received so many negatives to my comments and findings today, I have decided to dig some more. Almost sorry I did - but life goes on...

"ZH is an important transmission belt moving the story from Russian propagandists/information warriors to western news consumers. It happens a lot. This is a particularly egregious example, but the transmission belt runs almost daily. ZH is as much a part of Putin’s information warfare as RT. If you follow closely enough, it’s as plain as the nose on your face.

So why does anyone take Zero Hedge seriously? And believe me, many do. Many people who should know better.

And what is the US’s counterstrategy? Marie Harf’s Twitter account. I say again: we are so screwed."

So... linking to (possibly) incorrect news makes one a disinfo agent, in the opinion of some no-name blog?

Seeing how the NYT, WaPo, WSJ, etc all routinely link to BLS and Fed numbers... I think this list needs some major revisions.

I didn't post this because of the article above, but because I found ZH on it after I did a web search for "who owns zero hedge" yesterday - which sort of floored me. If you take a look at the website, psyop.ninja, there are some really strong points made about why all these so-called alternative/truth sites are listed as disinfo sites. Look, I realize that a lot of useful information makes it here to ZH and I have been a member for over 5 years. ZH has been my go-to site for much news. I'm just throwing this out there for people to take a look at. Nothing worse than being led off-track when seeking truth. Fortunately for me, I find that there are many very intelligent and insightful people here at ZH who take to task any bullshit posts. I'm not throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Just be open to new information always...

Also, you guys were so slow on the draw today that I was able to be the first comment.

How do you know Bin Laden died 14 years ago?  Because it was in a Pakistani newspaper and a Pakistani politician parroted it.

You don't "know" that he's been dead, that's merely what you believe.  Hersh's articles "Who's Sarin" and "The Rat Line" did nothing but suggest the US was arming terrorists and lying to the public.  Tough to see how that's a limited hangout - it denigrates every claim the US makes.

For all you know bin Laden was dead by September 11, 2001 and replaced with another CIA replacement asset who came to outlive his usefulness, and who was in fact murdered by Seals, but not at all in the way POTUS claimed, and some of those Seals were also sardine canned into an old chopper and flown over Tally held ground where they were killed by the CIA.

You know who told me that one?  A USAF combat controller after a few pints in a shitty pub in Glasgow.

I can't say he was right. But, given my background, I can say I'm very confident he wasn't lying.

You may be lying, but you're probably not.  But what you are doing is laboring under the misconception that you "know" something which you can not possibly know

By the way, a leading disinfo tactic is to accuse anyone coming close to the truth of being a shill, agent, troll.  There's been a severe uptick of this on the NYT comments section, particurly in re Russia.  Always there re Israel.  They either address the facts alleged, or they use name calling and distractions/red herrings.

The web is not quite so full of paid trolls as some seem to think.  It doesn't much matter.  The field, the ops, and the money are what matter.

Of course, the Deep State would love to sow discontent, get people busy arguing over explosive used on 9/11 rather than who used them, over what hit the Pentagon and who let it.

Very worthwhile to read debunking sites.  Now and then, they're right  [the missing trillions announced 9.10.01 probably is not what people have been claiming at all and not about actually "lost" sums of money at all - read that carefully, "we can't account for" may well have been money not stolen, but not trackable  - even with 9/11, someone would notice and work on finding a missing trillion+ m or 2 years of on book defense spening. The idea they "lost" that is simply very very unlikely, although they may very well have used it as a deep cash well to pilfer the odd ten or twenty mill from for black ops  {guess}.  Building 7 surely did have extensive fires and front structural damage from debris from one of the towers].

One debunking site was talking about Cheney's comment re "does the order still stand"  Great debunking argument - Cheney had ordered the civilian plane threatening the pentagon to be shot down but they were waiting for some F18s to arrive.

Problem is why there was such a long scramble - an exercise which had not yet been cancelled despite the problems it caused...  and the problem you can't blame on incompetence or error is that the white house itself  has antiaircraft as do other areas scattered around the Pentagon.

Funny how that plane went around, executed an advanced manuever, flew yards off the ground and hit the only reinforced part of the building housing the accountants though, eh?

Yes, as important as true/good information is that the information being given is in a concise form and not open to interpretation, communicating exactly what was intended not what one thinks they communicated.  That is the biggest problem of all.

What is interesting about the list (to me anyway), is that a great percentage of the sites have something in common:

Questioning the Status Quo.

And of course, when developing a successful psy-op against this form of anti-government blasphemy, here are the rules:

- Smear

- Discredit

- Frame the debate by controlling the language

- Putting your enemy on the defensive with ad-hominem even before any meaningful discussion can begin

- 'The Politics of Personal Destruction'

Seen it all before...

Carry on ZH.

Let me get this straight: ZH is top o' the list becasue it is willing to go along with the establishment claim of Osama's death being in 2011 for the purpose of looking at Hirsh's claims? Of course "everyone knows" that is not true"

And the "Non dis-info site" (what? NBC, ABC, PBS, MSNBC,FOX?) all assume Osama cashed in his chips 14 years earlier???

That Chemo is really affecting my brain, as the list makes no sense.

"Hersh conveniently forgot to tell his readers that bin Laden has been dead for almost 14 years."  Or mMaybe the poster is concerned that while sometimes a bit crazy, ZH isn't crazy enough.

Companies (especially in IT or anything tech related) want someone between the ages of 22 - 35 preferably white or Asian. I know this will comment will get alot of negative ratings but it is the truth. That 24 year old 'HR Director' who does that 'first round interview' does so to 'weed out' anyone who is "Overqualified". It isn't because they will want too much money but because it 'won't be a good fit'. I have interviewed at some of these nouveau yuppie / hipster companies you know those that rags like Inc. portray as the new Work "play" ce of the 2010's. I am in my late 30's.. I know immediately when you see everyone walking around in tee shirts or looking like they just crawled out of bed and you are 'overdressed' wearing a dress shirt that doesn't look like it came from Hot Topic.

You seem to have covered all the bases and so your comment's going to resonate with many good bad or indifferent.

Personally i believe that these IT/Tech companies are BS , ripe for a crash and the last place i'd want to work. However, if that's your bag why not find the large number of people who are in your age group, prefer a business code of dress and brainstorm?

They are in 'debt up to their eyeballs' because of extreme (almost pathological) conspicuous consumption and materialism. I always wonder how all these fresh faced 20 somethings can afford a new BMW 3 series or a Mercedes C class.. Likely the parents are making the car payments for the next 72 months (plus insurance) but still.. And rents have gotten obscene in any major metro in the USA now, finding a one bedroom apartment for less than $2,000 a month is nearly impossible.

But tell me how is it assumed that these jobs are 'low paying'. The media has this extreme love affair with millenials and blames all the problems on those evil boomers (who incidently have the highest effective tax burden in the USA) ..
