A friend just returned after a month in Europe. He says he met NO ONE who liked or respected Obama. They all thought he was a corrupt stooge.

All of the military leaders have been replaced with politicians.
Real military leaders will act in defense of our nation (even when it is misplaced) but the new political leadership only serve themselves.

Your assertion is similar to the idea that there are "good cops." If there were "good cops," they would arrest all the rest. They don't. Hence they aren't "good."
Similarly there are no "patriotic" US military bosses. If there were, they would have arrested the POTUS, his cabinet, the SCOTUS and most of congress already.
There is no one coming to save us.
I agree with you. The military is not going to come "rescue you". However, I have a very simple idea for you to save yourself.
Kill the politicians, en masse, then drop your guns, and turn yourselves in. En masse. By the hundreds, by the thousands, by the hundreds of thousands.
Flood the machine. Swarm the courtrooms, shouting "IF HE'S GUILTY OF TREASON, THEN SO ARE WE!" Do it by the thousands, unarmed, AFTER you've decapitated the beast...then maybe something will happen.
But the military isn't going to decapitate the beast for you. We are only 2.5% of the U.S. population, and if we tried a coup, the MSM would distort us and vilify us, regardless of what we did. Let's face it, the military is scary as hell when it's in motion. You'd believe whatever the media says if we actually tried to affect change.
It would be far better for the masses to revolt, to hit the REAL enemies, and then have the military stabilize the transition to a new constitution - one written by the people. Of course, this is all a daydream.
There's too much corruption, and too many people willing to act in the fog of WOAR for their own benefit, for anything good to come of anything.
They've spent two decades making sure there's no military leadership in the upper echelons that woould do something.
The only way you'll see military involvement will be if they're ordered to do something especially heinous, and even then, it'll be NCOs and first tier officers going for a Thompson v. Calley rematch.
