Yeah, sure. Now, panic around and be scared of this boogeyman; they are coming in large hordes to slit the throat of everyone you love, because they hate your freedumbs, and because Obama.
Reminds me of the movie MONSTERS, INC., which I always hoped was a parody of the "war on terror", "war on drugs", "war on crime", and "war on trusting yourselves and your neighbors, because if you do then you won't give US your protection money, and then we might actually have to WORK for a living".
The important thing is to ignore all threats until they become an actual crisis, one with a gun in your face. I mean why not? No one gives a shit about a future beyond what is on TV Friday night anyway. Why worry about a bunch of people murdering their way across a continent. There is no way they could get here, even if we are immigrating many thousands to America every year. Even if there are 50% of Muslims who sympathize with the radicals and the other 50% afraid of them, why should we worry? And after all, there are only a few hundred million or so out there who might want us dead in a country with us living in a country with virtually NO border. Its so hard to see how anything could go wrong for us. The important thing again is to tend to our most immediate needs, consume and borrow.....and hate. Hate lots of people here in America. We don't need to waste our time hating on foreigners when we can do that to ourselves, our neighbors, our police and military. We got lots to hate, and with employment so bad, lots of time to do it.
So lets stop wasting time on some religious nut jobs half way around the world from us, and get on with our domestic warfare. We got bankers and politicians and cops and blacks and whites and those damned Mexicans and rich people and Jews and Christians and queers and breeders and poor people and old people and young people and all those fuckers in the middle that we can't quiet put a number on, (we call them sheep, but we just know they have been up to no damned good). We got lots to hate, lots to do without going to the ME. Besides those fuckers over there are pretty damned good at murdering and shit...they seem to really like it, so lets find a little easier target.
The key to survival is the correct assessment of threat. All things are not equal. Sadly we are a society that is dependent upon easily consumed input designed to feed preconceived notions and biases. Most have lost the ability to analyze and assess, to place weighted values on risk. Ultimately fear is the primarly tool of our manipulators and as such, it works for them even when were fear and despise THEM. A society packed to its limit with fear....and hate.

Enact several International Treaties in quick succession, where each treaty covers a part of the globe, but their total reach is global -- just like the British Empire was. Old trial law saw: If you can't win on Principle, win on Procedure. Hence, they (US + vassal states) are playing to win on Procedure, by being fast and agile. Faster and more agile than the BRICS.
Enter... TPP1, TiSA2, TTIP3. With the latest G7 meeting in Germany, and with multiple African countries having been invited, you can bet your ass(ets) that another Treaty is in the works with African countries. I'll bet money (currency!) on it. Call it the Trans European African Treaty (TEAT)4, which will also allow for Immigration (species migration, in exchange for asset stripping).
With the US being the Common Core in each of these treaties and being the 900 lb gorilla in the room, it is a virtual certainty that the Treaty calls for continued use of the USD are the Common Currency to be used in the pricing, purchase and settlement of Trade. This is akin to HP and Epson selling printers for cheap, but making you use their ink: You're hooked!
